Maryssa and her team are the absolute best - I would 100% recommend her to anyone planning a wedding or any other event. Maryssa was the planner for my wedding at Olympia's Valley Estate in Petaluma, July 2021. She exceeded all my expectations ...and went above and beyond to ensure that the day went flawlessly and was exactly what I had dreamed of.
Communication: Maryssa is one of the most transparent, thoughtful, responsive people I've worked with. Any time I had any questions - from small to big - she responded incredibly quickly and with a ton of information. As someone who has never done this before and was overwhelmed by the amount of information and options, I really appreciated how communicative and responsive she was to everything I've ever asked. As others have mentioned, oftentimes she already had taken care of / thought of the things I was asking already!
Vendor Management: Maryssa managed every.single.one. of our vendors to the minute detail. From ensuring that she had the contact information, contracts, etc. of everyone we planned to work with, she coordinated directly with them to ensure that everyone knew where and when they had to be the day of.
Attention to Detail: Maryssa's attention to detail is incredible. From sending us reminders of things we had to do a few months out to a month out, to coordinating the weekend schedule down to the minute (our family members even commented at our detailed our schedule was!) As someone who is also super detail oriented, I really appreciated this about her. On the day of the wedding, she noticed that some farm tables did not match and contacted me immediately with a few options of how to proceed - it was so detailed that I wasn't even stressed that this was happening the day-of!
Day-Of Coordination: WOW. just wow - Maryssa executed our wedding absolutely flawlessly. She coordinated everything with the vendors, personal items, reception, decor, including moving our floral arch/cocktail furniture to the reception area for dinner. She was always on hand to help with absolutely anything I needed - from helping me find a toothpick, mints, working with our photographer to move our first dance and photos around to accommodate the better light, to helping me pick out grass from my wedding dress from photos - I can honestly say that Maryssa made our wedding everything we ever wanted it to be. She even helped pack up all our drinks, personal items, decor into our car the night of so that the next morning we had everything ready to go.
Lastly, on top of everything I already mentioned, Maryssa helped us navigate our wedding through COVID-19. We originally had our date scheduled for 2020, and she worked with us to not only move to a new date, but coordinate with our vendors to ensure they were also free, share information about the latest regulations and how things were progressing. She was always on top of everything, staying calm and helpful throughout the entire process.
