Shawn was an outstanding photographer! He did both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures and they were perfect! We even had to change our wedding date because my husband is military and he was more than happy to switch to that day for us. He gets your usual staged wedding pictures and then all the other things that go on that you might not even get to see during your big day.

Shawn was a DREAM. He was able to keep us on schedule and was exactly the kind of energy we needed. He has an incredible eye for pictures and all the moments you will want captured on your day. He also brought such a positive vibe to our wedding it cannot be left unstated. He made us feel so welcomed and comfortable in front of the camera, and made sure we had time to enjoy ourselves. Super happy with the outcome of our photos! We’re both not used to being in front of the camera and Shawn made it really simple by explaining the process initially and that really took a lot of the fear out of it for me. My partner and I are terribly awkward being photographed and Shawn was very easy going & brought his calm, warm energy onto our shoot and it felt like a friend hanging out and taking snaps of us. We can’t even describe how excited we are with our photos from Shawn. They bring back such great memories. Brilliance! The experience with Shawn could not have been a better one. After you book, Shawn reaches out to schedule an engagement shoot in an area where you're comfortable. He's very accommodating. We did ours in Edmonds and he arrived early to scout out locations. We were immediately assured that this guy knew what he was doing. The engagement shoot also showed us how effortless it is to have photos taken by Shawn. He didn't over-direct, he was natural and he just let us be ourselves and let moments happen (something we felt comfortable doing in front of him. And the groom hates PDA ;)) He's patient and professional and just makes everything feel easy. Any concerns we had about the photos on the wedding day were assuaged by the engagement shoot. And it helped that we had worked with him, because on the day-of we knew how he directed his photo sessions. We understood the subtle instructions he gives and it helped our photos turn out amazing! He planned what spots he wanted to shoot and how to get through many photos quickly so that we could get back to having fun! He is prompt with his processing. We received photos within a month of the wedding. He sends them in a dropbox with Hi-Res and Print quality and Color and B+W for all photos. We received about 400 photos and they were in the order they were shot, so we could relive our day in images. He got different angles, got photos of darn near all of our 40 guests and they were all Grade A quality. His strong suit, in our opinion, is his couple portraits. His "action" shots and group portraits are great, but his work truly shines with the romantic shots! He has a unique style, and if you like it, definitely book with Shawn! He will be an asset to your wedding day!

Shawn was great to work with! He got our wedding photos back to us in exactly one week, and I was completely blown away. The photos are great quality, and he captured the moments that meant the most to us. We love his style, and he was very easy to work with. I can't recommend him enough!

Really really good. Shawn was always professional and on time, and the finished pictures we got were just so wonderful. It was raining on our wedding day, but he made it work! Also I got a big ol' mudprint on my dress very early in the day, and somehow none of his pictures show even a hint of it! Talk about attention to detail!

Seattle will always be a special place for us, it’s the place where our relationship began and the place we got engaged last September. While we love the idea of a forest wedding outside the city, we want to be in Seattle for the ceremony because we want our family and friend to visit and experience the city that we love so much. That said we’re so happy that Shawn was able to come on as our photographer. He was conscious of our budget and made sure we got the perfect coverage. This is such a major step in our lives that we’re so thankful that we’re able to get photos that recapped the whole experience. He's honestly the best photographer EVER. The wedding was planned to perfection, and his coverage was seamless and complete. Seeing everyone you love and care about is such an overwhelming feeling and one that we’ll never forget. My advice is to just trust him to do his thing. And you won’t be disappointed.

We’re feeling all the feels from Shawn’s photos!! It’s no question that he’s got the skills and just knows how to put everyone at ease with the pics :) All that to say we had an amazing time and we so thankful that Shawn was there to capture it with such beautiful detail. We’re very happy with how he handled those key moments like our ‘first look’ and our walk down the aisle while attending to pics of our family and guests during the reception. And what’s most amazing is that we were on schedule for everything! Because it all felt very organic and unscripted, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the party!

And with our wedding coming around the corner he was helpful with our planning and was even more so on the day of! To have him was honestly essential to elevating the whole experience. Shawn was recommended by our wedding planner, and we are so glad that we listened - because he’s basically everything we were looking for in a photographer –and more. For our engagement we told him the location we wanted to go and he arrived super early to “scout” for the best areas. And since we’re not to most photogenic people he helped us with directions to make our photos feel natural and personal. And we had so much fun!! The previews and digital files were followed shortly after(2 weeks!) which we really appreciated because we were able to make our own save the date cards right then :) Leading up to the wedding he even sent us references to set a timeline on, of which we were able to use to build on and fine-tune, we also went back and fourth with numerous emails to finalize everything and he was incredibly helpful and timely to get things situated. On the day of the wedding he arrived early once again to see the venue and to scout the location for our bridals and portraits. He was incredibly professional and cordial with all the vendors and kept to our timeline and got GREAT shots, and on that front he’s discreet with the photos and mainly kept it happening in the back ground. And the photos!! OMG they are just SO genuinely beautiful, and the coverage was thorough. We honestly can’t ask for a better results, he made everything look so delicate and beautiful it’s literally my Pinterest dreams come true!

Shawn did such a wonderful job with our ceremony! We had so many memorable moments that it just incredible that he was able to get it on film. The feel was very modern and romantic, and the style of his pics worked beautifully with our picturesque vineyard venue.

Shawn is obviously the guy because his personality mixes perfectly with the wedding vibe and all his photos feel very in-the-moment. He sent us a wonderful collection of portraits/candids and sprinkles of design details(flower arrangement, decor) from the venue, and we LOVED that he sent them shortly after our date! He’s great to talk to always and always reachable with our emails –we would definitely recommend him for anything photo related.

The way Shawn photographed our wedding is PURE MAGIC! He was attentive and caring, and gave us sensible directions to make the most out of our engagement session as well. And the quality and attention to detail is amazing!! Not only did the photos reflected our style, but it also captured the vibe of the autumnal season that we love so much!! The portraits are just stunning with lovely details of the gown from different angles - to see it in print is just extraordinary. He’s definitely a true artist and you’ll want someone like him to do the pics.

I’d have to say with Shawn, love is the vibe. He’s someone who can be by your side and get you photos that you’ll need. He’s so helpful and knowledgeable and the style is so natural, our first impression is that he’s perfect for our little garden ceremony. And with our date only a month a way he made it super quick and easy to book and did the photos with amazingly stellar quality. We only needed a few hours of coverage since it was a very intimate event and he was able make it happen with our modest budget. He’s so thoughtful, present and professional, it’s honestly our luck that he was available for our wedding, which was only 3 months away. We booked him for full 8hrs and we’re completely amazed with how everything turned out! The style is lovely, very airy and imbued with a very romantic flair, and we really liked that he was able to be there and take photos in the background without overstepping. It was the perfect fit for our small wedding! His pricing is VERY reasonable and with partial day coverage he managed to get the most out of the time we booked him for.

When we first met with Shawn we just knew that he's the perfect photographer because we were immediately greeted with none other than kindness and generosity, which really stood out first and foremost. I know I know, if you want great wedding photos, you better be ready to drop some dough and not be mad about it. But seriously, with Shawn photography, you can actually be happy about it. His rates are super reasonable and you get so much with such amazing quality. The photos are gorgeous in a Pinterest-inspired kind of way, with detailed attention to the design and the vibe and feel of the venue that we spent so much time planning for:) We loved seeing the photos of everyone being together, meeting for the first time, catching up, loving, just over all very joyous in keeping with the vibe that day.
