Al was also great on the phone during our consultation call before the wedding, thinking of little details even my Type A self hadn’t planned out, and just made the whole process so easy. He coordinated so well with our live musicians and officiant for the ceremony too, helping mic them and get speakers ready so everything could run smoothly. For the reception I gave him a list of songs that were our favorites to pull from and told him to add whatever he thought was needed to keep the dancing going, and he rocked it! We love Al!!!! Thanks so much for making our wedding a blast🎶

reception songs were exactly the vibe we wanted. All of our 'must play' songs were played and everyone was dancing all night long! The only reason we wouldn't give 5 stars was because we felt communication leading up to the wedding day was lacking. Sometimes it would be difficult to get an email response in a few days, which I'm sure is just because they are very busy during popular wedding weeks. We did have a final 'talk though' with our DJ the week of the wedding (which definitely helped!) but getting confirmation sooner than a few days before the wedding would have been preferrable. As a stressed out bride, a little more communication and reassurance would have helped to put my mind at ease.

stars is that we were not introduced to our DJ until less than a week before the wedding which was a little nerve wracking. However, after we did meet Robert we were absolutely assured he would handle everything flawlessly - which he did. One of our guests said, "We could tell from the first song that he was going to be a great DJ!" He listened to my daughter and her fiance and he followed all their directions and played exactly the types of music they had requested. He kept people on the dance floor from start to finish with no gaps whatsoever in the fun! I highly recommend this vendor!

t, we discussed songs that were particularly meaningful for us and how we saw the evening going. He came up with the perfect playlist. Every song was spot on and perfectly timed. He did the sound for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They were all in different places with different setups and it all went without a hitch. He did a good job of being the MC sometimes and stepping back when appropriate. It’s a difficult balance, but he got it just right. We would definitely hire him again and highly recommend Shewsicle!

easy process. However, starting in April 2021, communication became a major issue. We would send emails and not get a response for days, send a follow up, still not get a response, and when we would a week later send another follow up stating our concern we would finally get a phone call from Matt the owner. This happened every single time we needed to communicate anything, even inquiring where to send the final payment. A week out from our wedding, we still had not met with anyone to discuss anything about our event. 4 days before our wedding, we finally had our virtual meeting with DJ Rob, who called us that morning to ask if we could meet that same night. The contract states that meeting should have happened 3 weeks prior to our event. I honestly was worried there would be no music at our wedding, but it was too late to find anyone else. At the wedding, DJ Rob did a fair job. My only complaint was he chose to play Beethoven’s Funeral March as guests were taking their seats. This is nitpicking, because I’m sure typically wedding guests would not recognize what the piece was, but if the time had been taken to talk to us at all he would have known both my husband and I are music teachers so not only did we notice and find it inappropriate, so did many of our colleagues in attendance. Probably an honest mistake/oversight, but it just shows the lack of attention we were given. The overall product we got in the end at our reception is what we expected, but the stress, disorganization, and lack of attention leading up to the event would stop me from recommending this company.

With only a handful of specific requests Robert built a seamless playlist that had everyone dancing and really brought the whole day together. Overall, very reasonably priced, very communicative, and they did a very good job!

the point in which we had to find a new DJ 17 days before our wedding. He did, finally, contact us via phone call after reading the email we sent telling him his services were no longer needed, even though we requested several times to set up a time to have a zoom or telephone conference to discuss what we wanted for our wedding. It is unfortunate that we had to find another DJ because his company came so highly recommended and they were very familiar with our venue, as well. I wish we were given the attention to detail that I see in all these other reviews. Oh, well.

at I wanted and he arranged them perfectly. He made many accommodations for us, an extra speaker for the groom’s procession (baraat), extra ceremony speaker and a last minute microphone! Matt was also an amazing MC! He made sure to go through the day with us before and made sure he knew what was going on and knew everyone’s names, etc. He even helped my mom find a religious song she really wanted played at the reception and it really touched her heart :) I really cannot say enough good things, he’s part of the family now! Thank you so so much!!!!

COVID-19 had many, many challenges, but Matt was 100% on top of every last minute change that wes needed. Most importantly, he got all of our guests up and dancing (even if it was at their own tables to stay distanced from others) from start to finish! If you want to have a great time dancing with your guests, I highly recommend Matt at Shew-sical Entertainment!

He had great control over the whole wedding and kept everyone having fun the entire night. He also double and triple checked with us on pronunciations of people’s names for introductions. It seemed like no small detail slipped by him. I would highly recommend Matt and his team for any future events and hope to get to use their services again in the future!

He handled different setups for our ceremony, cocktail, and reception sites, which is no small task, for a reasonable price. We and our guests are not much for dancing, but music is very important to us and it was so nice having our favorite songs play throughout the night. Additionally... he was SO MUCH MORE than just a playlist. He was able to play the right songs at the right times (such as cake cutting, and timing our intro perfectly), which we wouldn't have been able to do ourselves. He kept us on schedule throughout the reception and worked seamlessly with our venue and caterer to make sure all the important things got done. He handled the background music while guests were arriving at the ceremony and during cocktail hour, when my husband and I weren't even present. There was NO WAY we could have done what he did. It put our minds at ease to be able to hand off such a big responsibility to a true professional, and it was a huge bonus that he worked so well with the other vendors we selected. Shew-sical, thank you for helping make our day perfect!

d good energy. However the organization prior to the event was lackluster. I asked for First Dance song recommendations and was told to google it. I was surprised to learn that Shew-sical did not have lists of song ideas for the First Dance or mother-son dances. It would serve Shew-Sical well to have lists of songs just to provide the couple with ideas of songs. We also had to request a meeting with the DJ’s to review our songs and explain things to us. It would serve Shew-sical well to encourage in person meetings with the couple to explain the program and provide feedback. All in all I would recommend Shew-sical to friends and family. With the caveats mentioned above to them.

wd we were very nervous about creating an atmosphere that seemed offensive to our more conservative families, too loud for our Buddhist community, or too boring for our secular friends. Shew-sical understood the atmosphere we were trying to create and struck just the right tone, without much coaching from us. The evening was absolutely perfect and people are still talking about how much they enjoyed the reception. Best of all, Shew-sical was very responsive to our budget constraints and was much more affordable than the other vendors in the area that we considered. Thank you Shew-sical for making our reception just perfect!

the ENTIRE night which was exactly what I had hoped for! We also used their lighting services (WoW Event Lighting) to light up the tent during our reception and it looked perfect! From the beginning, they were very responsive and Nicole was super easy to work with and everyone had a freaking blast thanks to her and the great music! bout the style of reception we wanted and also about the musical direction that we were seeking. He was awesome as the MC and kept the introductions, first dance, parent dances and toasts moving along. And when the dance floor opened, he was awesome! Have never seen a wedding where the dance floor just stayed packed all night. He had a great feel for the crowd and just kept it going until we had to leave! We highly recommend Shew-sical! You will not be disappointed!

attire. His shirt was not even tucked in. He was running down the aisle during the processionals. There was no music. When the music finally came on for the bride and her Dad. The music ran out again. We missed all of the major parts of the reception because the equipment was so poor no one could hear him and didn’t realize that the father daughter dance was happening along with cake cutting, the bouquet toss. He had no command of the reception at all. He did one announcement for the bridal party but it was so muffled we couldn’t hear their names. It was so disappointing all the way around. There is no way that the DJ was prepared despite the efforts of the bride and groom to assure that he would be. It was actually embarrassing. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

A few times a song started that I thought was from our list but was actually one that Robert selected and it always fit the theme. Robert was also very friendly and all the guests had nothing but praise for him. The music really brought the whole day together!

Matt and Chris were both DJs at our wedding and all of our friends and family still rave about how much fun they had and how great the music was! Matt and Chris read the crowd and played the perfect songs to keep our guests dancing all night long! They were also super flexible when I threw a last minute change at them. We would definitely recommend them and would use them again in a heart beat!

Travis was able to find our specific songs, cue them up to just the right spot, and fade out our songs beautifully. He was able to use our playlist we created for our dinner and was able to tie in our taste into his choices for cocktail hour. We had so many friends and family come up to us throughout the night saying that our wedding was the best one they had ever been to, and I believe that was due to the fun energy that Travis provided. The one thing I wanted from our wedding was that the dance floor be full the whole night- and it was! Shew-sical was able to personalize every step of our wedding day without a hitch, I am so pleased with them!!
