Paul were incredible professionals to work with making my wife and I feel at ease with the entire process during the events. They were both really easy going and great to hang out with as well. Kaitlin has been exceptional at keeping in touch and ensuring that the final deliverables met our expectations. Shutter and sound films have a unique style which drew us to them, and I was very happy with the experience leading up to the wedding as they took all the guess work out. They are clear that they will deliver to their artistic vision from the very beginning although they still paid attention to the kinds of styles and shots we like through various questionnaires and constant communication. Initially I found it a bit odd that we had no communication with our video team leading up to the event as this was all handled by the coordinator but the end result was fantastic! They are clearly experienced with wedding videography and the system they have put in place works! Mike's way of framing shots and quietly capturing all the little details of our experience and wedding was impressive and all in all I couldn't recommend this company more. We now have a little cinema quality movie of our special day that we get to keep forever. The multi-cam edit was an added bonus that I would recommend to capture the little details you may have missed in the middle of all the 'day of' stresses. Our wedding highlight is so romantic with such tasteful clips and a story lovingly told - I'm not overly sentimental but I find myself re-watching and re-watching the video with the biggest smile. I know I'm biased but it really is just a beautifully rendered highlight video in its own right, and I applaud Shutter&Sound 200%! From the start their communication team was prompt, fast to answer questions, and all members showed up/got to work seamlessly, without us ever chasing down any person or answer. Our lead videographer was Chris Tocchet and he and his assistant were delightful flies on the walls, I barely noticed them working and anytime they engaged with us to give us direction they were so nice and professional. As all people get stressed/anxious on their wedding day, I will always thank them for how patient and understanding they were. Absolutely calm, supportive vibes all night!! Our wedding day went wonderfully and now we have a perfect highlight video to match. Recommend Shutter & Sound all the way. 6/5 stars. Absolutely satisfied.

us about using a company that outsources their videographers. I was extremely nervous about being assigned someone who was both obtrusive and unfamiliar with how to film a traditional Jewish wedding. We got assigned Michael, and it could not have turned out better! A few weeks before the wedding Kylee put my fiance and I in touch with Michael, and we were able to set up a facetime meeting with him. I outlined all my concerns to him, discussed the aspects of the Jewish wedding that were important for him to capture, and discussed some family dynamics that I was concerned about. Michael listened to my concerns and assured me he would meet my expectations. On the day of the wedding, Michael went above and beyond for me and my family, and he far exceeded my expectations. He showed up on time, worked flawlessly with my other vendors, and was completely unobtrusive. His assistant Adam was awesome as well! The next morning at brunch, some wedding guests asked if I even had a videographer because he was so discreet, which is exactly what I wanted! My photographer said he was one of the best videographers she has worked with. Then i received the finished product, and I couldn't believe what i was watching - it was like watching a professional movie. If you want an extraordinary video and a super great experience, hire shutter and sound (and definitely ask for Alan because he was the absolute BEST)!

long time to book due to concerns around Covid and postponements, and she was super patient and kept us up to date on everything on her side. Alan and Josh were great partners to have next to use throughout our entire day - kind, providing direction where needed, and blending into the background where needed. Our highlight video was exactly as we hoped it would be, which is tough after watching many of their videos which made our expectations higher and higher. They did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend.

They captured the wedding aesthetic that I pictured and made it come to reality like a movie clip, i now understand why they call their videos ‘films,’ they truly are! They offer different packages which was so convenient as my wedding was really an all day event! I worked with Kylee to plan my day, and Alan was my videographer. He clicked with my photographer so easily and captured all my favorite moments! The day of, Hans arrived with his co-videographer and coordinated perfectly with my photographer to begin taking detail shots. They continued to work well together throughout getting ready pictures, ceremony and reception. I don't know why I was ever concerned because Doyle killed it. He was so pleasant to work with and put together a video better than I could have imagined. If you're not familiar with their model, they are based in multiple cities and train their videographers in the same style so you know what you're getting. We found their pricing to be reasonable, and opted for both the highlight video and the full-length multicam cut of our ceremony. Our videographer Nico was so friendly, chill, and unobtrusive, he worked really well with our photographer (trading shots and not stepping on each other's toes), and the video he made was just the sweet, cinematic memento we were hoping for.

I fell in love with their cinamatic style immediately and have yet to find any other team that comes close to so beautiful capturing all the emotions of the day, while choreographed to a song of your choice. Our lead shooter was Casey, and they were so indiscreet, my mother asked me if they were even there the next day! The fact that they can capture such amazing moments while shooting from the shadows just speaks to how incredibly talented they are. We received our “short” video in only 10 days after the wedding, I was shocked. I can’t wait to see the full video and raw footage. My friends and guests have no stopped telling me how amazing the video is and that we looked like movie stars. You will not regret this investment for your wedding day.

Quinn was great and extremely responsive via email; she was always quick to answer any questions we had and provide any guidance/suggestions we were looking for. Ched was our main videographer and while we only spoke twice on the phone prior to our wedding day, he fully understood what we were looking for and the wedding video we received was beyond perfect. It's an incredibly video that I've watched about 100 times. They both arrived early, looked professional, and were ready to get to work. Austen and his second shooter were creative with their angles, perfected lighting and colors, and knew how to beautifully capture the moment without interfering. They made us, our family, and honored guests feel comfortable and most importantly, free to be ourselves. We appreciated how they worked collaboratively with our photographers under our strict time constraints, especially since they both needed to get their necessary shots. Our short highlight video was ready in just 7 days after our wedding. We were impressed, to say the least, with the quick turnaround time but also with the professional quality of the video. Austen and his team were generous with their time, even allowing us to make changes to our finalized product. After a few weeks, we received our highlight video, our multi-cam edit, and the raw footage in a convenient external hard drive. We will be sure to replay them for years to come as we reminisce on our wonderful day. o personable and great to have with you for 8+ hours!! It was less than 20 degrees the day of our wedding and our first look was outside. Eric made sure to get every shot he needed as quickly as possible without losing any quality. He didn’t waste any time planning his next shot or what he wanted us to do. He knew exactly what he was doing the entire time. Kylee, the Scheduling Manager, helped with all the “paperwork” and answered all of our questions throughout the entire process. She was so quick to respond to my emails that it was like we were having a real-time conversation! One thing I really liked was how we paid. It was through an electronic debit from your checking account and you could pay as much as you wanted, anytime you wanted, as long as it was completely paid off by the due date. With all the vendors needing final payments around the same time and mostly all requesting these payments via check, it was great to have the option to make instantaneous payments throughout the months on our own schedule. We received our highlight video literally FIVE DAYS after the wedding. How fast is that?! The video is absolutely perfect and we are continuously receiving compliments on it. We can’t stop watching it ourselves! The rest of our package will be delivered in the upcoming weeks, but I am so glad we already have the highlight. I love that Shutter and Sound allows you to purchase all the raw footage from the day. I know I missed out on so much and I’m excited to be able to catch some of it! This is in addition to the ceremony and speeches, which I also can’t wait to watch. So happy we’ll be able to have all of this for the rest of our lives—and this is coming from a couple who originally decided NOT to have a videographer. I’m so glad we made the decision to hire them to do the videography for our wedding. Video really conveys our personalities and the way that my dress moved, in a way that still photos didn't manage to capture. We didn't want the usual "getting ready" shots, and Alex is such a professional that he didn't need any extra directions to send us a perfectly-edited short video. (Also, it turns out that you can't use a drone in NYC/Brooklyn anymore, but they had amazing footage to use, so we weren't even upset.) We were so surprised to get the email that the video was ready while we were still on our honeymoon! It is just the right length (about 3 minutes) and it lets me re-live our wedding day every time I watch it.

We are currently waiting for our hard drive of the multi-camera edit and the raw footage, but if the highlight video is any representation of what is to come, we are sure to be extremely pleased with this as well.
