They were so flexible & understanding when we switched our venue & wedding day due to COVID! The day of - they traveled hours for our wedding & arrived on time & prepared! They found a way around the photo props for our guests to make them feel safe with the virus.. instead they brought plastic signs that they could wipe down after each use! The photobooth was such a fun addition to our day!! Everyone loved getting their photos taken!! They even provide you with a photo book that they have all your guests sign! We went through the book & pictures the day after our wedding and it made our day!! It’s so fun to re-live all your guests having fun - thanks to Shutterbooth!!! The attendant was great with our guests, patiently explaining and helping our less tech savvy guests. Perhaps most importantly, the photo quality was fantastic - really, some of the best pics the night of our guests came from the booth (professional photos to come!). My one recommendation for any couple would be to plan on adding some of your own props. The provided props were pretty generic and I was really glad I spent a few extra dollars to have props that were meaningful to us and our story!

We were lucky enough to score an awesome package which included: unlimited photos for guests, day-of GIFs, custom props, custom layout, a photo-filled scrapbook (which doubled as our guest book), and unlimited access to the photos post-wedding. Plus, it was SUPER affordable (trust me, we looked at other vendors and this was easily half the price). Our guests LOVED the ShutterBooth and we can't get enough of all of fun photos it left us with. We would recommend ShutterBooth (and Kelly!) to all of our family/friends for any future weddings, get-togethers, etc.!

When I talked to her again right before the wedding, I had asked her about making some custom (Florida themed) signs/props which she had offered in our first conversation to make. FABULOUS rose gold backdrop -The amazing booth attendant service -Getting a full photo album with signed copies of everyone's prints (year book style) at the end of the event. We still flip through it and it's been 2 months. It's truly the best photo album we have! At the end of the night, we forgot to pick up the guestbook, so Kelly emailed me the very next day to let me know Abby took it for us and they would mail it to my house. They even gave the option to wait to mail until after the honeymoon - so accommodating! Everyone on the team was very friendly and easy to work with. Very enjoyable experience and definitely recommend for anyone looking for a photobooth!

We really appreciated the flexibility and choice! - Professionalism: Communication was always very clear and prompt/timely. Organization/planning beforehand AND execution on the big day were perfect! We also appreciated that they double, if not triple checked, our request forms to make sure everything was to our specifications. Kelly was our go-to, so it was very helpful to have a solid, reliable point of contact for any needs. - Awesome props: We consider ourselves very picky about our photo booth props, and SBC nailed it!! We loved the different hats and the hook hand. In the end, we didn't have time to make custom props, but SBC was also very flexible about us bringing in our own props if we wished. - Custom logo: Andrea, the designer, created a custom logo for us that we loved! It was truly awesome to have the ability to personalize our own, unique photo booth logo. - Help and support at the event: After our wedding, several guests came up to us and complimented how "the ladies running the photo booth" (Kelly and Maria) were very nice, and very helpful. We really appreciate that they went above and beyond to make our guests feel so welcomed and have a good time! - Options for extra picture strips: This feature turned out to be key, so that each guest could take home a memento instead of one person getting it if there were, say, 4 different people in the picture. It goes without saying that we and our guests appreciated it, so no one had to "fight" over who got to keep the picture, or had to choose whether to keep it or put it in the guestbook. - The guestbook/scrapbook: WOW. Just. WOW. We were so impressed by how it was put together by our guests -- under the guidance of Kelly and Maria -- and it was awesome that we could customize the colors of the paper AND even the pen color for our guests to sign! - Details: SBC just really nailed the details, from the color pens we wanted for people to sign the guest book, to which entrusted person we wanted the guestbook handed to after the event was done. This level of detail was SO thoughtful, and organized so well in advance that my husband and I didn't have to worry about it at all on our big day! Pricewise, after looking at 2-3 other photo booth companies, we found ShutterBooth to be very reasonably priced relative to its competitors. However, what really stood out to me was the value. Sure, a photo booth is an investment, but we felt like we really got our money's worth with the excellent customer service and autonomy. Overall, we received a lot of high praise from our guests about the photo booth - people loved the photo printouts and had a ton of fun. Our loved ones are still raving about it 1+ months out! My husband and I absolutely love the scrapbook they created for us - it's one of my favorite physical tokens from our wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend ShutterBooth Chicago for your photo booth needs. I couldn't imagine entrusting anyone else with these invaluable mementos on our big day! Attendants are assigned to your booth to assist guests throughout the night, but it's really not necessary because the process is so SEAMLESS. My guests are still raving about this photo booth and all of the fun that they had at our event. I will definitely be using this photo booth for future family events!

ption (so guests don't feel like the party is over). You don't ever know when exactly dinner is over, but I wanted the booth to start right after dinner. An extra hour of picture time is $50 IF you book that in advance. OR, its $150 if asked for on the night of. Ok, that makes no sense. So of course what happened was that we paid extra for time not needed. I didn't like this during the booking process because it's illogical and money-gouging. **Con: We made it clear to Kelly and our venue that we were paying for a vendor meal. During my own wedding dinner, I got up and went to the photo booth attendant and told him his meal was at the bar. He declined (I'm sure to just be polite.. but during my wedding, I didn't have time to explain to him that it was paid for). **Con: In their Final Details email, they ask for a vendor meal (which is fine). But they ask for a TIP (politely of course). But they suggest a tip and offer to send an invoice (PRIOR to the wedding). Why would someone tip any vendor prior to service? 2ndly, let's be honest... a photo booth attendant is not usually tipped. **Con: and this made me so SAD that I have not looked at my photo album. My husband and I brought our photo book on the plane to our honeymoon so excited to read the messages. There were NONE. The attendant never asked one person to sign it. There are 3 strips on 8 scrapbook pages so we had to ask family to give us their strips after the wedding. Kelly refunded $50 for the unused hour and $100 for horrible scrapbook. Instead of $900 ShutterBooth, we should have had a selfie stick, iphone and scrapbook station. $100 refund does not compensate for the mistake we made in hiring them and losing those memories we were so excited for.

Kelly at ShutterBooth was amazing to work with as well. She went above and beyond to come to the city for our consultation and bring props for me to take a look at for our wedding. She was very responsive, proactive, and everything went off seamlessly. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND ShutterBooth for your wedding or event!!

And when I forgot to pick up my guestbook/album at the end of the night-- rather than leaving it on a table somewhere for me or at the venue-- they took it with them and FedEx'ed it to me at my home address in SF proactively and complimentary. So nice and thoughtful. They also had a designer work with me on my strip design and logo to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Great service and experience all around-- I would highly highly recommend them. All the other photo booth services I looked into in Chicago were rip offs compared to the service Shutterbooth offers at the price level they offer it at. Go with Shutterbooth!!

The company worked with us ahead of time to create a custom design at the bottom of our photostrips and it matched what we had on our wedding invitations. It was perfect! They also provided us a scrapbook with everyone's pictures in it at the end of the night! It was such a great keepsake for us. Overall, they were easy to work with, it was a hit, and it was a great memory for everyone :)

it- young and old. People will make a point to visit the photo booth and might not necessarily take photos with the photographers- this way you have photos of all your guests (no matter how silly they look) It's great looking back on the photos and getting a good laugh from them.
