Silver Dollar Catering went above and beyond to make sure my daughter's wedding reception was perfect! Not only was the food amazing, but Sharon also made sure that the reception was beautiful! From supplying the tablecloths, dinnerware, servers, decorations, set up and take down, they surpassed our expectations. I highly recommend Sharon and her staff for any wedding reception!

We have used Sharon & Bill for two events now. My nieces wedding and ours and she hits the mark every time. So helpful and sweet and gets stuff done! She also offers several things besides food, like linens and napkins and is so reasonably priced. Not to mention the food is DELICIOUS. We will continue to use her for any of our catering needs. 10/10 recommend!

Sharon was able to provide a simple, yet elegant variety of foods for our small wedding. Her attention to detail and the food presentation was only topped by the taste! She was prompt to reply to our questions and offered linens for our use as well. From the first contact it was such a pleasure working with Silver Dollar Catering. One detail we never needed to stress about while planning.

Sharon and her staff are THE BEST!!! From the first time I emailed her until the day after our event, she was so friendly and accommodating. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does and she goes above and beyond to make everything so special and personalized. We forgot our cake stand, but Sharon had one with her for us to use. We didn't have someone to cut our cake, so Sharon and her staff cut it for us! They refilled drinks, served the food, and even bussed tables. They were one of the last vendors to leave. Thank you Sharon for going above and beyond for us and making all our dreams come true!!! YOUR FOOD IS FABULOUS!!!

1. Instead of the queso fountain my daughter and I have dreamed of for her wedding for years, we got just a normal catering dish of queso. When my husband asked where the fountain was, Sharon "jumped down his throat" with, "I told your wife 3 weeks ago that that may or may not work out", which was a total lie!!! Even the week before she mentioned possibly having TWO fountains with two different kinds of cheeses. (If there was even a possibility of this not working out, we would've hired another option JUST for the fountain, as this was a wedding dream of my daughter's, and we would not have risked it not working out.) Then on top of this, she and her husband were both visibly rude the rest of the night. We had guests question us about their grouchiness! 2. Instead of the street tacos that we ordered and discussed in depth (cute corn tortillas with grilled/sauteed meat), our guests were served flour tortillas with shredded meat (ugly). 3. Instead of a salsa bar being served on the side tables like we discussed, the "Salsa Bar" consisted of a dessert plate with a few chips and a scoop of salsa. So we had two empty tables on the side of the venue! (Sharon used the excuse that the venue wouldn't let her serve food off of those tables, but upon calling the venue the next day, it was confirmed that she could have...just not hot foods.) 4. Sharon caused tears for both my daughter and I on her wedding day!!! While my daughter and her husband were out doing their sunset pictures (along with many of the guests, including my husband and I), Sharon and her team totally dismantled the decorations in the venue (for a 9:30 send-off!). We walked back into the venue with it being torn down and all of our decorations piled on a couple of tables. My daughter burst into tears and her husband spent their last/private dance consoling her. 5. After all the guests had left, we had words with Sharon. Included in this talk was a threat from her saying, "Maybe I should reimburse you $250 for the fountain and CHARGE you $1,000 for the linens!" (No! The money we paid was agreed upon for the services she was supposed to provide, which is escalated a bit to cover the linen costs that is part of her "services".) I left in tears from my daughter's wedding and cried all the way home. This should not happen to ANYONE!!! 5. I called The Springs (our venue) the next day and learned that the tearing down of decorations should not be done in that way, and they were saddened by the treatment we received from Sharon. I have noticed that they have since taken her off their preferred vendor list for catering. They suggested that I leave an honest review. It has taken me a long time to do this. However, I did email Sharon about a month after my daughter's wedding, communicating our disappointments from the day. I also copied The Springs on this. I never received a reply. *When we booked Sharon, I told everyone how excited I was for our caterer - 5 star raving reviews, so sweet to work with, felt like we were in the best hands. I am CRUSHED that my daughter's wedding is tainted by the HORRIBLE treatment we received from Sharon, and I continue to work through the grief that she caused on my daughter's perfect day.

We were very pleased with the meal, our guests were all very impressed. We had a separate meal from everyone else so we didn't taste the same entrees but what we had was really good. She was extra accommodating, having our table runners and some curtain panels steamed along with the linens for us. We really appreciated the details and extra care that was put into making our dinner run smoothly.

Sharon was so sweet and helpful! She went above and beyond, helping me find last minute hair&makeup and day-of-coordinator people. She even let us use some of her decorations! And, of course, the food was SUPERB. All the guests were talking about how good it was. Highly recommend Silver Dollar Catering!!

A friend of mine recommended Sharon, and Silver Dollar Catering for my daughter’s wedding. I cannot say enough good things! Sharon listened, offered suggestions, and provided everything that was needed for the wedding reception at an affordable price. The food was amazing! Linens, and dinnerware were beautiful, and the grazing table was GORGEOUS! She and her team did an outstanding job! I would recommend Silver Dollar Catering for weddings or any event!

Sharon was a pleasure to work with for my wedding! Their hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, bartending service, and dinner were delicious and customized to my needs. The waitstaff, cake cutting service, and clean up made for a seamless dinner service! You all were such a pleasure to work with, thank you!

These guys were fantastic! Sharon was very helpful and flexible beforehand, and communication was great. the day of the wedding everything went very smoothly and the food was fantastic! I only wish we could have kept what was left!

Amazing. So easy to work with and provided everything we needed. Without Sharon and her team, the day would not have gone near as good. They also offer linens, cake cutting, and bartending. THEY DO IT ALL.

I wish I could given Sharon & her staff 100+ stars!!! She & her staff saved the day in every way. She provides catering, table clothes, napkins, chargers, vases, votives , and so much more - which saved us SO much money!!!! She's done so many weddings, that she thinks about every single detail. Her staff even pinned the boutonnieres on the groomsmen! Her staff that arrived the morning of (before catering) asked me if there was anything I needed. But everything was so perfect, all I could think of was that the color of my easels didn't match how I had planned. They went out of their way to re-decorate them. My wedding day was more beautiful than I could've ever imagined, and it's all because of Sharon & her staff. My friends & family also loved meeting her husband because he was the bartender. They're absolutely wonderful people & I couldn't recommend them enough!!!

5 STARS AND 10/10! Sharon and her staff at Silver Dollar Catering were on point for our wedding event in September. They were there on time as discussed and didn’t leave until the last cloth from the table was pulled. They were polite and professional to all guests and were always checking in to see if there was anything we may have needed throughout the night. The menu was absolutely delicious and you must try the spinach artichoke dip! It came recommended from a friend and it was not a disappointment-definitely a fan favorite of the night! We are truly appreciative of Sharon and her staff. They truly helped make our event the best night ever!

Sharon at Silver Dollar Catering was a joy to work with! We had little to no face-to-face time as my husband and I were planning our Tulsa wedding from our home in Los Angeles. But Sharon was so on top of communication, emailing us edited versions of our quote so we got exactly what we wanted, and she was always available to call to ask or answer any questions we had. Both her and her staff were incredible day of, doing much more to help us set up and tear down than I had anticipated, which was a huge help to my husband and I, and our families! And we got more compliments on the food than on any other part of our wedding! Sharon is a delightful person who will make you incredible food for your wedding, or whatever event you’re interested in having her cater! Highly recommend!

Sharon with Silver Dollar Catering did such a great job. The food was fantastic. Sharon provides so much that allows brides to relax and not have to worry about certain things getting done. She provided all the linens for tables, which she delivered the night before the ceremony, she also let us use her beautiful cake stand and cutting utensils. So we did not have to spend a fortune trying to buy all these things. Her staff was also so helpful. They instructed us on how to cut the cake right before.

Sharon did a fantastic job and the food was wonderful! We had a brunch reception, and she had so many options that added the perfect tough to our wedding! Highly recommend her!

The food was mostly great, we were a tad disappointed with the mac and cheese, but the rest of the food was excellent. The homemade sangria, is most definitely worth it, I promise! The pricing is very budget-friendly. While I am mostly happy, there are a few noteworthy items I'd like to bring to attention. For starters, Sharon's organization was not quite to par with mine, it worked for her, but I was nervous by her organizational skills. When it came to getting our quote together what was said at our in-person meetings was not always listed on the quote - there were lots of promises and extras, but I had to request to have those in writing. She did seem to have our best interest in mind, and wanted to go above and beyond. She picked up the tab on our napkin rental, she offered to let us use the linens she owned, instead of paying to rent, she took care of the tablecloths for her tables (and made sure they matched), at one of our in-person meetings she said she do a matching floral arrangement (from our florist) on her table, but that didn't happen - not really a big deal, but just a note. For bar-tending, we were under the impression it would be her husband bar-tending (whom we had met at a wedding event, and LOVED) and it wasn't - the hired bar-tending staff was not my favorite, nor was the hired wait-staff (there was lots of standing around). The bar-tenders had a tip jar, which we found VERY tacky, especially since we were hosting an open bar and planned to take care of the tip ourselves (we gave part of their tip to another outstanding vendor, instead of them, after seeing this). We had one incident with Sharon, where she accused us (to my mom) that we had "way more people and place settings then we told her" because she was short on silverware/rented napkin rolls. We did NOT have more, we actually had LESS after a few small groups of people couldn't make it last minute. Come to find out she left an entire box of napkins/silverware at home. When my mom tried to get her to use the paper napkins at the parents' and head tables, so that our "guests" could have the nice napkins and silverware, Sharon refused. So I had aunts and uncles from out of town without knifes and using paper napkins, when we would've preferred my parents and the head table to have been the ones shorted. I guess her husband offered to bring her the box (before our ceremony) but she said there wasn't enough time... we would've had time. The reception wasn't for another couple of hours, after the ceremony. It would've been nice for them to at least try. During the reception, Sharon did stop by our head table several times to make sure we had what we needed and offered to get us drinks or more food, which was nice and unexpected, and she did acknowledge (to me, not my mom) her napkin mistake, and was sincere. However, my mom was still pretty unhappy at the original accusation and lack of solution.

Sharon and her team are wonderful! Working with her was so easy and effortless. She went above and beyond our expectations and we are so happy we chose her! We had SO. MANY. COMPLIMENTS. on her food. If you hire her, you won't be sorry!

We had silver dollar bartend at our wedding and they were amazing. Such nice people to work with !

Sharon was amazing. We actually think she was our favorite part of the wedding planning process. We met up with her and right away knew she'd be the one to take care of us on our wedding day. Her food was great. She was able to provide us with samples of everything we wanted to try, and our guests can't stop talking about the spinach artichoke dip. My husband dreams about her meatballs. She was so helpful with way more than just catering, she provided our cake tray, the champagne bucket and so much more. Her husband was our bar tender and our guests loved him. By the end of the process, they felt more like friends and not just a vendor. I highly recommend Silver Dollar Catering for food and bar tending!

Silver Dollar Catering was amazing! We were so thankful for how personable and kind Sharon was throughout the planning process. It is evident that she really cares about each individual customer - she doesn't offer you standard, pre-prepared menus to choose from. Instead, she let us come to her with our vision and she made it a reality. We had a super fun baked potato bar at our wedding with the most amazing brisket I've ever had. Our guests raved over how good the food was and we could not be more satisfied with their service. I would 100% recommend this company to any bride! They are affordable and the food/service was better incredible!

Silver Dollar Catering was fantastic! We were hesitant to go with chicken because more often than none it comes out bland, but they did not disappoint! We got the chicken picate, mashed potatoes, green beans, and salad. The chicken was AMAZING and had excellent flavor! Guests were complementing the meal all night. Sharon also worked with me to figure out a menu that would fit our budget, which was great. She and her employees are very easy to work with. They were all very professional and were happy, which was very appreciated! Thank you so much Sharon!

Best food I've ever had!! Such a great job on everything at the wedding! Bartending was great as well! Will recommended them to all my friends. Everyone complimented on how good the food was!

We could not have asked for a better caterer for our wedding of 200! All night long we were getting compliments and still several weeks later we've been asked who we used. Sharon and her husband and their staff took care of every detail including helping set up and tear down tables and linens, full bar service AND even provided the cake stand. Sharon was in constant contact throughout the wedding planning process with suggestions and encouragement. Did I mention the food was DELICIOUS? My husband is still talking about the spinach artichoke dip and my mom is still raving about the pork tenderloin. I feel like a million thank yous aren't enough for her!

Sharon is my girl! She catered for us for the past week and the food has been absolutely phenomenal! I seriously dream about her cooking! She serves a wide variety of delicious meals and even serves gluten free and vegan/vegetarian friendly foods as well. She and her family are the nicest people and I seriously am going to miss her meals! Everything is homemade from the rolls to the strawberry jam and her idea of a small helping could feed a village! She and her husband love what they do and are amazing at it. I would recommend Silver Dollar Catering to anyone because everyone deserves to have a taste of this woman's creations. She is better than Paula Dean! Love you Sharon!

Now I'm not one to toot the horn of everything I get; like some customers. I think that Silver Dollar did a great job for our wedding. Pros: She worked well with our venue Found the price range we could work with Customized our menu to what we wanted Had a kind and courteous staff (including her husband who ran out to get extra ice when the venues ice machine went on the fritz) and he is a licensed bartender. Cleanup was included (even rentals) Constant attention to our guests Cons: A little disorganized about the rental location (they moved and she didn't know) Our menu had a full buffet (cake was separate but Sharon knows a great baker) and we had a great time. All of our guest commented on how good the food was and we enjoyed it as well.

Sharon with Silver Dollar was very flexible, and helped with giving ideas, offering to do extra little tasks. She was great, and the food was great! So impressed, definitely recommend her.

We used Silver Dollar Catering to serve heavy hor d'oeuvres at our wedding. Sharon Lyke was very easy to work with from the beginning. We told her how many people we were having, which dishes we wanted to serve and a price range. She worked out a budget that was very affordable and reasonable. SDC provided the plates, plastic ware and plastic cups which was great with me. They also have a license to bartend so we were able to take care of the bartender and caterer with one company. The service staff was on time and ready to help even before the ceremony started. They even cut the cake. The service was great and I enjoyed working with Silver Dollar Catering.
