our wedding needs... From all the years I've been friends with Jen, I know that she has IMPECCABLE taste. She has a keen eye for what looks good, what colors go together. She is very DETAIL-ORIENTED and ORGANIZED, I know that if I could trust anyone to be FLAWLESS for our wedding, it would be Jen. As a newly engaged bride-to-be, I had a rough vision of what I wanted for our big day... But I wasn't completely sure about many of the specifics. I met with Jen to do the consultation, and she was very ATTENTIVE to my vision of our reception decor. She took my ideas, gave her feedback (to be completely clear that she understood what I wanted), she provided her opinions when I asked her for her suggestions. The whole process was very COLLABORATIVE. She helped me discover what I want - and showed me the possibilities I did not consider. However, what I loved was she always stressed that they would do what I want. She offered suggestions, but always came back to "We will do whatever you want." And as many engaged couples will find, as the months of wedding planning progress, budgets change (get tighter) and concepts need to adjust accordingly. This happened to us, and I was really grateful to Jen and Jeremi that they were FLEXIBLE to the changing needs of our event. When we decided that we had to sacrifice reception flowers to keep costs down, Jen suggested a more affordable alternative: votives and floating candles. She and I reassessed our decors and we came up with beautiful centerpieces. Our guests complimented us on how elegant the cylinder vases with floating candles + votives that were placed on our tables. Jen and Jeremi were also very ACCOMMODATING with additional requests. Not only were they so cooperative when we had to change the reception decor - they were so accommodating when we asked them if we could add ceremony decor as well (a month and a half before the wedding! though brides, for your sanity, do not follow our example). I highly recommend Jen and Jeremi for your wedding rental needs. Whether you are a couple who knows exactly what they want, or have few simple ideas on decor - Something Borrowed will execute these concepts beautifully. They are wonderful to work with, they are prompt in responding to your inquiries, emails and texts. They are very professional and proficient in set-up.
