David and Cristina far exceeded our expectations for our wedding! We chose Sound Wave originally because of David’s professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge. Based on our age and energy levels, he was able to create the perfect playlist for our reception that kept our guests dancing for TWO HOURS straight! The dance floor was packed all night and everybody kept commenting afterwards how great the music was. Cristina was great too and kept the line at the photo booth manageable all night. I would recommend Sound Wave Mobile DJ to any of my friends in a heartbeat.

David is such a pro! We worked with him for our wedding at Casa Bella and he made it a PARTY! Everything about him as a vendor was top-notch. He has a super easy to use website for song picks, a very organized pre-wedding meeting to walk through the details, and he did an amazing job for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception of course! The package we selected from David had a photobooth which was a huge hit, and he sent over the digital versions after the wedding as well. Thank you so much, David, for making our wedding amazing!

We had the best time at our wedding, and a big part of that was due to Sound Wave. David did a phenomenal job as a DJ. He kept the dance floor alive, he stayed true to our song request and do not play lists, we liked his voice announcing the events, and he even mixed our reception intro song which we are extremely grateful for. Cristina was also wonderful and did fantastic with the photobooth. We appreciated her using my design for the photo strip so it matched our theme! Highly recommend!

We hired David and Cristina for their DJ, MC, and photobooth service for our wedding, and we cannot be more pleased. They are extremely professional and have been absolutely incredible to work with. David was incredible to work with! He was super friendly, detailed, and responsive. From the first meeting we knew we were in good hands. When we found a first dance song we loved that was a little slow, he helped adjust the tempo for us which was some kind of magic. His online gig builder was super easy to use and allowed us to pick songs that were significant for our guests. We love music and had tons of songs on our list but we told him it was in his control to play whatever he felt the vibe was and he was incredible. Our guests kept wanting to get up and dance during dinner and the party was non stop the whole reception. We got tons of compliments on the music from our guests! David was amazing! He provided three services for our wedding. He was our minister for the ceremony, the DJ during our reception, and his wife also ran a photo booth. My wife and I highly recommend their services. Leading up to our wedding day, David provided incredibly helpful suggestions in planning our ceremony and reception. In addition to the phone calls and emails, communicating all the details was made very simple through an online portal. It made selecting music and building out our ceremony and reception easy. My wife and I loved the speech he prepared for our ceremony and our guests all loved the music and photo booth. We had Sound Wave Mobile DJ officiate and DJ our wedding, and we could not be happier. The officiating portion was extremely thoughtful and gave us peace on our big day knowing we were in good hands. David took all our suggestions on music all the way up to near the wedding date. Music is and was a huge part of my wife and I's success of this wedding, and they knocked it out of the park. David and Cristina were all stars for our wedding at Casa Bella on April 15th, 2022. Despite contracting Covid the week prior, both battled through it and delivered an excellent service with the utmost professionalism and flexibility. Just a few highlights: -David and Cristina were at the venue before we even showed up (two hours prior to the event) to ensure everything was setup correct. -My playlists were extensive and highly detailed and David accommodated each request to the T. I heard just about every song on each of my playlists and the transitions David mixed were top notch. The dance floor was going all night! -There were several schedule changes throughout the day, but David never batted an eye, I simply told him the new plan, he said "got it." and then executed. -The photobooth was an absolute HIT and Cristina worked it all night making sure our guests were attended to. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the services. David and Cristina were made us feel taken care of on what could of been a very stressful day. Absolutely blown away by their professionalism. 100% recommend!

We worked with David for our wedding on 10/2/21 and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ! From the start, finding a DJ that was able to cater to our diverse guest list was really important. In our initial conversation with David, it was obvious that he had tons of experience playing for all kinds of crowds and was very knowledgeable about the kinds of music that would get people dancing. In our final meeting before the wedding, he was very attentive to our must plays, don't plays, and the vibe that we were going for. We worked with David and team for our wedding ceremony at Nella Terra, and couldn’t be more pleased with his services!! David is not only great at his job, but is also a kind and friendly person — we loved working with him from start to finish! He provides an online portal for all clients to add their song preferences, wedding party names/timeline, etc., basically anything he needs to know. We met with David twice before our wedding to make sure we were aligned on all of the details (including pronouncing the names of family + wedding party members correctly, which we especially appreciated!), and on the day of, we felt confident that he’d handle everything — and he sure did!! We didn’t have to worry about a thing. His energy and music kept everyone dancing and celebrating all night long. David also provided us with a photobooth at the reception, which our guests loved! David is ACTUALLY INCREDIBLE WOWWWWW!! We hired him last minute, and he was so professional!! I would be sending him emails late in the night, and he would respond quickly! Even later in the night! I don't know how he does it- his work ethic is unparalleled. We also had extra music requirements to make it kid friendly, and he went through 1000s of songs to make the PERFECT PLAYLIST!! I'm truly impressed!!

David is the absolute best. He is professional and knows exactly what he is doing. He worked with us when we had to change our wedding due to the virus. I would not hesitate to hire David again if I had any other events! The website he uses to manage the songs and timeline is very easy to navigate and use, and payment is simple. We had our wedding at Nella Terra and all the other vendors love him as well. Also the Photo Booth hardware he uses was very easy to use for our guests and he allowed us to choose a background before hand. The photos from the Photo Booth are amazing and was a big hit during the night - these photos are printed immediately, texted immediately and are available on a photos website for 6 months! DJ David was the best! He get the party going the whole night and we are still having our friends and family telling us it was the one of the most fun weddings they have been too. He MC'd the reception and kept everything organized and to schedule. The music selection got everyone up and dancing until the very end. We also used the photobooth and got some of the best pictures! They had lots of props and guests got photo strips to take home with them. We also got digital copies of all of the photos.

We've booked Sound Wave Mobile DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception at Nella Terra, and while we haven't gotten to work with David in person yet, we are extremely grateful to have his team as part of our wedding. Like many 2020 couples, we had to postpone our wedding celebration due to COVID; David made the rescheduling process super easy and stress-free. By the time we decided to postpone, David had already provided us with an online planner to select our music options - it's clear that he's organized, professional, respectful, and all-around just great to work with! David provided DJ and MC services for our October 2019 wedding at Casa Bella and he was absolutely terrific! He provides you with an online planner that makes the planning process so easy! We booked his services about a year in advance of our wedding. About a week before our wedding, we had a phone meeting with him and went over all of the details. Day of, he was on time and made everything run so smooth. The music he played at our reception was great and he kept the dance floor packed all night. I highly recommend David to anyone that is looking for a DJ at their event!

David and Cristina were extremely pleasant to work with. Extremely professional, respectful, and definitely put the couple before anything else. My husband and I had a pretty strict playlist for our wedding. We knew we wanted certain songs on our playlist as well as certain genres not to be played. David pretty much adhered to our playlist, and all of our guests enjoyed the music. The dance floor was full the entire night. The music that David played engaged all of our guests and they were very entertained. We played a lot of oldies and throwbacks so the older people and younger people were able to feel nostalgic when hearing the music of “their time”. I’ve been to weddings where the DJ/MC were super cheesy, and I didn’t want that for my wedding. David didn’t do any of the cheesy things, which I appreciated. The greenscreen photo booth was a hit! People enjoyed being able to choose different backdrops, and guests took multiple trips back to the photobooth to get a picture with each backdrop. David pretty much let us do whatever we wanted, but when we did need some ideas or recommendations, he was there to suggest things. Thanks David for everything!!

David and his team were amazing on our day! His website has an amazing planning tool that made putting a playlist together so easy and fun. There was room to add shootouts and special requets. He made a custom mix of our father daughter song and even had custom photo booth backdrops made for us which turned out so amazing and reflected my groom's and my personalities. Everyone was dancing the entire evening! We had so much fun playing the shoe game and incorporating a cultural family tradition into the reception. Everything ran on time and was so professionally done. I would book them again in a heartbeat if I had to do it all over again. He was so responsive and accommodating it made everything way less stressful knowing he knew exactly what we wanted. My wife and I booked Sound Wave Mobile DJ for our wedding at Stonebrae Country Club. We booked them for their sound system, photo booth, and projector (for a slideshow) and were very happy with all of their services. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially compared to other sound/DJ vendors. We appreciated how easy the planning process was and loved their professionalism and experience. To prepare for the wedding day, Sound Wave provided an online form for us to fill out. The form was straightforward and laid out exactly what information we needed to provide. The month before the wedding, we had a call with David from Sound Wave to talk through all the details. We were pleased with how simple it was to prepare for the event. The service on the day of was great. David arrived early to set up and everything related to their services went smoothly. The photo booth especially was a hit with our guests. The package we purchased also included a photo booth album where guests could put a copy of their photos and write a message which was a nice souvenir to take home. Overall, a great experience and would highly recommend. We are thankful to David and Sound Wave Mobile DJ for helping make our wedding a memorable event.

Mr. and Mrs. David Gomes were a joy to work with during our wedding at Ardenwood Farms. He was a preferred vendor, and now we know why. David was so communicative, professional, and kind from the beginning. He helped us with our soundtrack/music selection, and when we met him on the day of our wedding, he was so accommodating with last-minute changes that we made. David was a joy to work with for our wedding! He was very understanding of what type of music I wanted played during each of the different pieces of the wedding, took my very specific requests and ideas and worked them in flawlessly, and even worked with me to set up the sound system for a friend of the family playing piano during the ceremony. Our reception was one big, amazing party thanks to David! He read the room perfectly and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long- there was not a single song without the majority of people dancing (myself included!). He perfectly transitioned between the "activities" (toasts, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc.) and was a completely professional and compelling MC all night long. Can't recommend highly enough!

We have had 5+ friends get married recently after hearing all the horror stories they told us I was thrilled to find David. With his online planner we were able to pick every song for every special moment, none of the other DJs had this. He has all the little things that make your day look and sound magical like uplighting with so many colors, monograms, photo booth with elegant backgrounds to name a few. David and his team were our MC, DJ and photobooth at Casa Bella of Sunol this past weekend. We were so pleased with the organization and flow of the evening. I cannot express how wonderful the evening went. From start of finish David was professional and attentive. I really enjoyed working with him. I found him accessible, easy to communicate with and very poised. He is confident in what he does and delivers on every promise. He worked so well with my other vendors and the venue. We hired David as our officiant and DJ for our wedding at the Club at Ruby Hill. We also booked him for lighting and the photo booth. David was professional, organized, detail-oriented and timely. He offered great suggestions for the ceremony, reception timeline and music. He addressed all my questions quickly and with detailed responses. We hired David for our wedding DJ and he was absolutely amazing!!!. He was very calm and professional even when we had last minute changes on the day of our wedding. He went with the flow of the crowed and followed our suggested song list and added like music to fill up open spots. We got the package with uplifting, monogram and photo booth. We used the open air photo booth and it was AMAZING as was the attendant. She was very helpful and went to get us props to use if we forgot any. The up lighting was perfect for the venue and the monogram looked great!! I am so happy that we found David he made our day that much more magical!!!

David was amazing! From day one he was extremely helpful creating our vision and guiding us to create out perfect playlist. He took in all our request and even made a custom walk in wedding ceremony song! Not only was he the Master of Ceremony but he provided us with the most beautiful display of LED lights on the airplanes in our hanger. He made our vision come true! David, Christina, and Gio are the BEST!! David is the DJ, and Christina and Gio help with the photobooth. They are an amazing team for our July wedding. We originally hired him because he knew Portuguese and Spanish songs, but he consistently went above and beyond what we were expecting! We were not an easy wedding--younger crowd with R&B/Rap/Top 40 music tastes AND older Portuguese family music AND varied ages for Spanish/Salsa music. Even with this mixed crowd, he managed to get EVERY single person on the dance floor. Our guests all raved about the music selection--young and old. The dance floor was never empty and everyone had a great night dancing He also helped us out a bit with the timeline since we had no clue the order that things were supposed to go, gave tips on speeches, and ideas for music selections (garter toss, bouquet, etc.). He is honest and very reliable. We were extremely pleased. He also provided uplighting (we did amber all around...it was gorgeous), and we selected the open photobooth option. All of the photos came out great and he sent us our scrapbook and flashdrive with guest photos very promptly. I could not have asked for more from David and the team with SoundWave Mobile DJ. I will recommend to anyone who wants their guests to have a blast at their wedding!

Back in September 2015, we attended our friends' wedding at Nella Terra Cellars, and David was the DJ and also provided the photo booth. He did such a great job at our friends' wedding that I booked David TWO YEARS before our wedding! He offers great package deals and his prices and services cannot be beat. We used his DJ services, uplighting, and the open air photo booth, and it was incredibly convenient to work with one single vendor for three major components of our wedding. David is professional, knowledgeable, and has done countless weddings, so there's a strong likelihood that he is already familiar with your chosen wedding venue. We had our wedding at Hakone Gardens in Saratoga, and David was extremely helpful with venue-specific logistics and provided constructive suggestions on our wedding timeline to ensure that event went smoothly. He also provides clients with an online system to help with the planning process and to select and request music, which was very easy to use. Flash forward to our wedding day in September 2017 -- everything was perfect, and David played a huge role in shaping the evening. Multiple people complimented our music throughout the night. We were also very happy with our uplighting, which looked great outdoors, Last but not least, everyone LOVED the open air photo booth, which was so modern and different -- it made photo bombing so easy that I could not resist. We are so glad we booked David for our wedding, and we had so much fun working with him. We highly recommend David for any event!

I wish we could give David more than 5 stars. He truly was amazing to work with throughout our wedding process. We just got married in October of 2016 and could not be happier we chose David. He is extremely professional, organized, and diligent, and not to mention a spectacular DJ! Our guests really enjoyed the music. He knows how to get the crowd going and what songs to play next. David is also the one who basically runs the wedding timeline and did so perfectly even with all the mishaps of wedding day drama, he still made it seamless. David's wife works the wedding as the photobooth helper and was incredibly sweet! Our guests loved having a photobooth to enjoy and bring back a little memory from the wedding. He includes the photobooth in his prices, and we could not be happier we did so! It was a great touch!! we did not settle on a dj until a week before the wedding. We considered renting equipment and playing off of an iPod because many dj's were just too expensive! Thank goodness for David! Fortunately he was still available for our Sunday wedding. At first we thought his services would be too expensive but he worked well within our budget! On the wedding day he delivered! Don't expect some fancy shmancy mixes, which is just as well since he specializes in weddings and not in night clubs. He had almost every song we requested and songs he did not already have in his repetoire he obtained a few days before. He knew just the right types of songs to play for different parts of the reception, appropriately setting the mood and smoothly transitioning between reception events. When it finally came to the dancing, he the crowd jumping until the very end! Highly recommend!

He spoke Portuguese as well as English which was very important to us so he could say introductions etc in both language. He also was a good source for suggestions of music choices.
