I cannot say enough about our big day and how incredible you made every bit of it. You are beyond talented at what you do and made us feel like family- not just another couple at another wedding! From the sound set up for our ceremony at our venue to orchestrating guests to cocktail hour and the incredible wedding party introductions and special dance requests we had- personalizing it for me and helping me through that. And of course, the entertainment on the dance floor. You came in clutch with our Celine Dion request and it was epic! We thank you so much for spending your time with us on our special day. We booked SoundProof for our November 4th wedding and honestly they exceeded our expectations. Ted was amazing through the whole planning process. He even let us customize our ceremony music so that our wedding was 100% us from start to finish. During the reception and days after we got so many compliments on our music and how awesome the DJ was. The photobooth was amazing too, and you get a book of the pics with messages and digital photos too! Run don't walk if you have the opportunity to book them for your event!

Our DJ services at our wedding were phenomenal. Ted was very professional, well dressed, played the style of music we wanted along with our requests, and did it all at a volume level that was perfect for the event. The planning period before the wedding were very helpful and the day unfolded perfectly. If we had to do it all again, we would definitely stick with Soundproof for our DJ services!

Let me tell you a few things about SoundProof, specifically Ted. This company and Ted are amazing!! Once we booked with Ted, he explained the whole process. Even through some big changes, Ted was there for an immediate phone call to discuss the changes. A week before, we had a video call to go over everything especially the timeline. With having a Sunday afternoon wedding, we knew and understood the vibe might be different than a traditional Saturday night wedding. But let me tell you, the music and the selection was amazing. Ted figured out the vibe and ran with it. We had people on the dance floor for 2 hours! We knew we selected the right DJ when after the ceremony, he checked in with us to make sure we were still on schedule or if we want to push anything up or back. Plus, he matched our colors! It’s the little things that make a big difference. We are so happy we went with Ted and SoundProof!! Thank you for making our day so special!

Ted was the first DJ we talked with in planning for our wedding and we immediately liked him. While we still talked to a few more DJs, we knew that we wanted to work with Ted and Soundproof Entertainment. He was so easy to work with and offered the advice that we needed. He walked us through the process of selecting our ceremony and reception songs and had every song that we requested for those special moments. Everything - from the outdoor ceremony to the grand entrance to the toasts to the cake cutting to the first dance to getting our guests on the dance floor - ran seamlessly. Ted gave us updates as needed and worked with our officiant, photographer and venue to make sure everything ran well - and we didn’t need to coordinate anything. He made sure that everyone was ready for the entrances, toasts/speeches and dances. The playlist was exactly what we envisioned and we loved dancing to all of the 90s and 2000s music! The photo booth was a huge hit and we loved getting the book with the proofs - and an email from Ted following the wedding with the digital proofs. We got married on August 12, 23 and had Ted from Soundproof Entertainment. He did a fantastic job. He has great communication and was able to make last minute changes for us due to the weather. He also kept the dance floor going and I don't think any of my guests sat down. We also upgrade to the photobooth and I think it's the best photobooth you could get for a wedding and it's at a great price. Would 100% hire again .

We had the pleasure of having Ted Karter as our DJ. We are out of state and had to plan our wedding from Maryland and it was stress free. Ted has everything set up online for you to plan your music playlist easily to include other small details for your special event! There wasn’t a single thing we would have had Ted do differently for our wedding, everything ran smoothly and beautifully! The music was great, guest had a wonderful memorable time! From the pre-wedding planning through the reception itself, the entire process was great and we wouldn't have changed anything. Ted was very accommodating with our a-typical request of a movie soundtrack trivia game during dinner. He also took our request to keep the music safe for young ears very seriously, which we and our guests appreciated. We had some different song requests, but he incorporated them at the perfect time during the open dance time. My husband isn't much of a dancer, but Ted diligently played us slow songs when we were both near the dance floor to ensure we had dance time together during the reception.

We're so glad we went with Soundproof for our wedding! They did our ceremony and reception and both were wonderful. Ted was great to work with for planning and Evan and Geoff did a great job on the day of the wedding. We had a large wedding party (10 on each side) and everyone's names were pronounced correctly for entrances. We also had some very specific and less popular songs for our first dance, mother/son dance, and specific requests for our 2 year old son that weren't originally in the Soundproof library that they made sure to get for us! Everyone was dancing all night--even including family members we had never seen dance before! Thank you for being such an important part of making our favorite day so great!

DJ Ted was amazing help for my husband and I as we began our wedding planning process. He was the first DJ we spoke to, and helped us understand the process and what steps we needed to take, before we had even booked with him! He was so great with us, we never spoke with another DJ, and we booked with him after one phone call. I referred him to another friend of mine who was beginning the planning process, and she also booked with Soundproof. He helped us nail down our initial schedule (which is not as easy as it sounds) and the day of our wedding he was seamless between songs, and was very much on top of keeping us on track for the evening! He did an amazing job taking all of our requests into consideration and put together an absolutely perfect transition between entrances of the bridal party into the reception (we had seven sets of groomsmen and bridesmaids as well as parents entrances and our entrance as well, each had a different song. Ted did a phenomenal job of accommodating not only multiple songs, but also putting together a mix of all of these songs in advance so the bridal party could practice in advance!). I will happily recommend Soundproof Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ that not only can keep everyone dancing, but also help guide you through one of the most exciting days of your life! After talking to DJ Ted we booked Soundproof Entertainment for our wedding. We had multiple guests comment on how awesome our DJ was! We found Soundproof through a random search on Theknot and it was the BEST decision we made! Ted was super accommodating in meeting with us since we were living out of state. Their client portal was comprehensive and easy to use, which made it one of the more exciting wedding prep things to do. Ted was amazing!! He was easy to get in contact with and always extremely helpful. You can tell that he knows exactly what he is doing. We hired Soundproof Entertainment as recommended by our venue. Let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint. Ted was our DJ and we utilized their Photo Booth services as well. Ted was great to work with. The site they use is easy to navigate and the 2 phone calls we had with him were quick, easy, and effective. He answered all our questions and reached out to us in a timely manner always. So happy with Soundproof! Ted was fantastic. He was very quick to respond to every question we had, and he completely customized everything to what we asked for. Every song we wanted (and didn't want) was played, and he was more than willing to add our custom choices for the cake/dances/entrances. He checked in with us throughout the evening to make sure the volume levels were right as well as keeping us on track for the different special moments at the reception. We also go a photobooth and it was amazing!

Ted with SoundProof Entertainment served as the DJ at our wedding (both ceremony and reception) and he was absolutely perfect! From the moment we selected SoundProof Entertainment as our DJ, Ted was extremely responsive and professional. The initial process of determining what equipment was needed for our big day was seamless, and the pricing was beyond fair for the quality of the service. The equipment was top grade for both the ceremony and reception. Ted arrived well ahead of when he needed to in order to have everything set up and ready to go, eliminating any stress on our end regarding our sound system and music. Ted did a phenomenal job keeping things moving on time throughout the night, made no mistakes introducing the wedding party, and was very good at communicating with us to make sure we were happy with how things were going. As it relates to dancing, Ted kept the entire dance floor full for the duration of the reception, and the song selection was perfect for both a young and older crowd. We worked with DJ Ted for our wedding ceremony and reception. The online wedding planning form was easy to follow and understand. When we did have questions, they were always answered within 24 hours. About 5 weeks before the wedding, we did a Zoom meeting with DJ Ted to meet him and go over the planning form and finalize everything. He provided us with a schedule of events he tends to follow but allowed us to edit it as needed. The week of the wedding, he graciously contacted us twice to ask if there was anything we wanted to change since the Zoom meeting and check in if we had any other questions or concerns. We felt like he was excited to make our wedding day special and memorable. DJ Ted had never been to our venue before, so he arrived extra early to ensure his equipment was set up and everything was ready to go. During the reception, he checked in with us multiple times to ensure we were happy with the music selection, ask what time we wanted to do the different activities we had planned (anniversary dance, garter toss, bouquet toss), or ask if there was anything else we needed from him. A wedding DJ is a big decision because they are essentially in charge of the night, and Soundproof Entertainment was a fantastic choice. SoundProof Entertainment did such an amazing job! We talked with Ted about the style, vibe and music genres we were interested in and he NAILED it! With so may other things to worry about leading up to the wedding (during a pandemic, no less) it was so nice to feel like we were in great hands and that he really understood what we were looking for. They do have great online planning tools if you want to be more hands on, though! Their set up was so professional and he and his assistant were both so personable. It is a month later and every time I see someone from the wedding the first thing they do is RAVE about the music and how much fun it was dancing! Everyone thought I handpicked the playlist! Nope! Where do I even begin with John at Soundproof Entertainment....HE IS AMAZING! John was great from the beginning, made sure we understood everything, helped set up our day of wedding schedule, went over every detail for the wedding day and made sure that the surprises that my husband and I had planned for each other went smoothly. Soundproof entertainment did a PHENOMENAL job at our wedding in September 2018. This was the first and only DJ we met with and knew right away they would be the perfect fit, complete professionals in every way! We were able to customize our ceremony music (which John handled wonderfully) as well as our wedding playlist. I even had a playlist on Spotify with our dinner music that he used directly. We got our photobooth through Soundproof which everyone loved. We had so many compliments on our DJ, John, other engaged guests asked for his info! I can’t stress enough how amazing these guys are!

We were very impressed by John and Crystal, and our DJ, Brian - our sit-down meeting with him went excellently. It was obvious that he had a tremendous amount of experience but also cared about our input and what we thought our guests would enjoy. He was clearly organized ahead of time but also flexible during the reception with slight changes to the plan. He did a fantastic job of getting people of all ages out onto the dance floor and keeping them there (one of my friends said that ours was one of the best in this, of all the wedding receptions she's been to).

Soundproof Entertainment was fantastic throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding! My husband and I planned our wedding by ourselves, with family out of state, and on a budget. Needless to say, we needed all the help we could get. We researched a bunch of DJs and entertainment services for our wedding. Soundproof Entertainment was one of the only services we found that offered music outdoors and indoors, uplighting, gobo lights, and online planning without a huge up charge. We worked with Jon throughout the planning process and we had DJ Rick as our master of ceremonies. Jon was amazing by meeting with us for a thorough consultation, listing all available service options and explaining their online planning sheet. Closer to the wedding date, I worked with Jon to create a fully-customized gobo to have on our dance floor at the reception. He was able to take a mock up I made of an insignia from a videogame with our names and date of the wedding and create our gobo to have on the floor. Jon was very attentive and responsive to any emails with questions or concerns. DJ Rick was phenomenal! We met with Rick to create our schedule for the day. He used a very time-oriented and extremely detailed schedule of when certain events were to take place, who was to speak, what music was to play, etc... He went over any specific songs we wanted, didn't want played, and the basic genres that we liked/disliked. On the day of, Rick set up two music stations so that we could have music before/during/after our ceremony and a station inside our reception hall. He arrived early to set up our gobo and uplighting; he also provided our minister a lapel mic for the outdoor ceremony. In the ceremony, he was able to take instrumental videogame music from a USB I compiled and sync them all with his system to play music for the ceremony. Once the reception began, he played all the music we had spoken about with a great mix of DJ choices from our preferences. He was dressed nicely for the occasion and acted as a perfect master of ceremonies that was respectful and fun! Overall, Soundproof Entertainment was amazing! The entertainment could not have been any better. On our budget, this was one of the more expensive vendors. However, the ease of access with the online planning form mixed with the professionalism and communication of the staff, it is well worth the cost!

It was definitely a pleasure having John & Matt as our DJ's for our big day. First, organization is their main priority: they have an online portal to help plan everything as well as music lists to choose your songs (optional). Second they meet with you weeks prior to the event & draw up an itinerary so no details are missed. Finally and most important they bring their amazing personalities along to entertain the crowd. We received many kudos on the great job that our DJ crew did!

We had our wedding 6.3.17. We had DJ Matt for our reception. Let me tell you the amount of compliments we received was incredible! Everyone thought he did an amazing job including my husband and I. Rick was our wedding dj and he did an awesome job getting people on the dance floor! He even let my brother in law play a song from his i-phone. We also had the photobooth at our reception and enjoyed all the photos and the scrapbook that was created. The combo of dj and photobooth is a great value compared to most other companies!

John from Sound Proof entertainment was absolutely fantastic! He incorporated even our obscure music into a playlist that was so beyond perfect. The dance floor was never empty! The lighting and monogram was awesome and the photo booth was always packed!

We worked with John from SoundProof and he was absolutely amazing. We used SoundProof for the DJ, uplighting, photobooth and they arranged our slideshow. John was an amazing DJ and had excellent planning tools available to us to plan our night of music and gave excellent recommendations of music to use during the night. The uplighting came out amazing and completely transformed our venue. The photobooth was amazing, however the props weren't put out right away so some of the first people that went into our photobooth didn't get a chance to utilize them and after the fact i do wish he had a better viewing process for the pictures online (he just puts them on facebook as just the strips). John made arranged our slideshow for us and even scanned all of the pictures for us and it turned out absolutely amazing and we received some many compliments on it!! Absolutely amazing!!

Every time we met with John he was excited about the wedding and worked to get all the details right so our reception ran smoothly. We were able to pick all of our special songs online so when we met with him we just had to go over it all which was nice. We also got a photobooth from them which was awesome! they had so many props and the bride and groom get a scrapbook with all the pictures and they have everyone write a message with their pictures. It is a very nice keepsake from our wedding. They also offer custom monograms and uplighting.

Most of my guests mentioned how our reception was the most fun they had ever been to. I attribute that to having an intuitive, professional DJ. We didn't hire a DJ, but we did rent equipment from Sound Proof Entertainment. They set everything up, moved everything inside, and then took everything down. And it worked wonderfully.
