Holds ceremonies and receptions
We had a wonderful night at the bar. The setting is great with the warm weather we had! The staff were so helpful in every way! Great price and great set up. No complaints at all!!
Rhonda and her team were amazing and the venue is beautiful. Planning for months for one day is extremely stressful, but Rhonda helped us make sure the day of went perfect. During the whole process we only had one minor disagreement, but Rhonda was easy to work with and it ended up being a non-issue. The staff was courteous and the bartenders were speedy. We ended up using Rhonda's recommendation of having two bars and had zero complaints about waiting for a drink! We set up the ceremony space the day before and Rhonda's team took it down so we didn't miss a second of our reception. The ability to choose our own vendors was huge for us, the flexibility it provided was a godsend. Having a wedding in August in Nebraska, you can never be too sure of the weather, but Rhonda came prepared with a backup plan for an inside ceremony and reception! Pleasant through the whole process, we couldn't recommend her and her team enough. The venue is stunning as well, all of our guest were blown away that a venue liked this was tucked away just outside of Louisville. Absolutely would recommend this place to any couple looking for an outdoor/indoor space.

Situated outside Louisville, NE, Sparks Barn is a wedding venue filled with authentic country charm. This historic farm is family-owned and operated by the Sparks family and that dates back to 1865. The newly-refurbished barn has been reimagined to suit special occasions and elegant events that overlook scenic farmland and a fishing pond. Owner Rhonda Sparks is proud to welcome prospective newlyweds to the Nebraska countryside.
Sparks Barn offers both indoor and outdoor event spaces for your special day and has a capacity of up to 325 guests. All kinds of ceremonies are welcome at this destination, from civil unions and vow renewals to religious ceremonies and interfaith weddings. You can say “I do” on the spacious lawn, overlooking the pond or the picturesque area under the cottonwood tree surrounded by flowers and cornfields.
Afterward, guests can enjoy cocktail hour at the indoor or outdoor bar and socialize on couches that overlook the countryside. Evening receptions are held on the patio under the Nebraska sky and in two barns. One barn has a large glass garage door that over looks the pond and the second barn is a renovated 100 year old rustic barn that has the original wood to retain it's country charm. Both barns have modern comforts such as air conditioning, WiFi and a in-door out-door sound system.
Barn space can accommodate 325 guests and the patio area can seat 75 guests. Characterized by lofty wooden ceilings, large windows and elegant chandeliers, it is the perfect place to mark your milestone celebration. Large, upscale cedar top tables are laid out according to your floor plans, alongside pristine white chairs that add subtle sophistication. The restrooms are wheelchair accessible and preparation rooms (hen & rooster suites) are provided for wedding party’s to pamper and refresh.
Rhonda and her dedicated team are on hand to make your wishes a reality. They provide service staff for weddings and receptions and will tend to your guests with warm hospitality and high-end service. The team will assist you when it comes to selecting the right vendors, from DJs and photographers to caterers and florists.
If you book a wedding/reception on Saturday, Sparks Barn will provide you three hours the day before to decorate and a hour for rehearsal time, followed by the opportunity to pick up your decorations and personal items on Sunday morning.

My son and his fiancé asked if they could use the family barn for their wedding and with hard work, good friends and family we turned their dream wedding into a reality.
