Barn a happy time with no disappointment. Alcohol prices never changed through out the evening unless a guest was paying and requested a higher level alcohol. Your father-in-law stated he was happy with the evening and thought everyone had a great time when he paid the bill. He also stated the bartenders did a great job. Pricing is listed on the information provided to all couples and is discuss at the 30 day meeting. We let couples set up any type of arrangement they like for the payment of alcohol. We let couples bring in their own bottled water and do not charge them for water. We let couples bring in non-alcoholic beverages to help cut down on cost. I agree we did have miscommunication, *You had requested the staff bring chairs up from the pergola area after the ceremony and I wrote down in my notes, the staff would take care of the chairs for a fee. When you notified me a few days before the ceremony that you were moving the wedding inside, I had down in my notes the staff was taking care of the chairs for a fee, so I had the staff set up the chairs. You pointed out to me that you did not want the staff to set up the chairs so I DID NOT CHARGE you for the set up of chairs. *We informed you in writing, at the 30 day meeting and it is posted at the venue, that outside alcohol could not be brought onto the premise or you would lose your venue deposit fee. We had to deal with three different instances where outside alcohol was brought in from outside. And we did VOID the damage deposit check, when we had every right to cash it because the rule was broken. *Hours before the wedding, groomsmen took down the bar closed sign that states, STAFF ONLY, went behind the bar, opened the bar cooler and helped themselves to the pickle jar. They were eating pickles out of the jar behind the bar. I confronted them and they offered to pay, but I stated, “It’s not about the money, it’s about being respectful. *You requested champagne at the head table, which at the end of the night was unopened. We did not charge you for the champagne but had to throw it out because it sat out all evening. *We let you use the hanging garden decoration above your sweet heart table and my staff had to get two ladders and take down the decoration at the end of the evening because you had left without taking down the decoration. I agree we did have miscommunication and you were not happy with your experience at Sparks Barn and we apologize for not making your day a wonderful experience. We wish you and Collin all the best.
