Photos are my love language and as photo editor IRL, having a great wedding photographer capture my day was incredibly important to me! Everything about Stacie at Vitae Weddings, from the initial phone call to any email communications, to delivery of photos was extraordinary and worry-free! She not only has this calming energy, but she replied promptly, was punctual the day of and worked well with the videographer! She reached out to the venues before the wedding to scout locations, so I never had to worry on the day of. She was dressed low-key and professional. Her contract is concise and easy to read. She had a vendor meal which she ate quickly, and she blended right in! I provided an extensive shot list of family portraits I wanted to accomplish, and she was incredibly sensitive to all tricky family dynamics. My mother thanked me several times afterwards. Stacie was everywhere and still invisible when it mattered! She had a great smile and demeanor and several guests commented how wonderful she was! But that is nothing compared to the breath-taking photography she captured! Overall, I received about 1K final, processed high-res files (on time within her 8-week turnaround) with about 40 sneak peek of photos two days following our wedding. It was enough to hold me over (for social media and texting) until I received the remaining photos! My goodness. She is an artist! My visceral reaction to seeing my gallery (which by the way is marvelous and easy to use--even for the most tech-phobe guests) was absolute awe! My husband's only word WOW!! She covered detail shots of the venue, both parties getting ready, ceremony, venue details, arrival to reception, grand entrance, all the dances and speeches, a performance of our daughters, fun table portraits with us running table to table within 2 minutes, late night dancing, cake-cutting and over-all ambience, and details. No babysitting. No chasing. No worries. No stress! Which is EXACTLY what you want in a photographer! She was the first and by far the best vendor I hired, and I would hire her again in a heartbeat! She truly has a gift, and her photography is absolutely STUNNING, and her imagery will last a lifetime! FYI—I'm based in Los Angeles, CA.

Our wedding photos came out better than I could have even imagined. Stacie was able to capture us and our day perfectly. I had a few photographers that I had planned to interview, but after meeting Stacie I canceled the rest of my interviews. After feeling her energy I knew she was who I wanted around me on my wedding day. She’s so sweet and easy to connect with, and her energy is calm and grounded. It was a no-brainer to follow my intuition and book with her and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. She went above and beyond in helping us logistically and her photos are literally stunning. It’s actually a problem because I can’t figure out which photos to print because there are too many gems to choose from. I can’t emphasize enough just how beautiful her photos are- they have an ethereal quality to them, they make you feel like you’re really there in the moment rather than just being a photograph. We are still marveling over the incredible photos we received from our wedding day 3 months ago. Our friends and family continue making comments about how impressive our entire gallery is. Stacie has the most amazing way to capture the emotions and feelings throughout the entire event. When we have shared the photos with others we never have a dry eye. She captured the hilarious moments where you think "How did she know that was about to happen?" And she was there at every tender exchange - from guests arriving and the sweet greetings, to the lasts guests sharing their memorable wishes for our future together - she captured all the emotions. I don't know how she managed to be everywhere at once but she was and every important or meaningful exchange was chronicled in the most breathtaking keepsake fashion. She arrived early and stayed late and was so creative with all the suggestions she made to enhance each pose. Vitae Weddings/Stacie is one of the most genuine humans I have met! She is an amazing photographer and took the most beautiful engagement photos of my fiancé and I. Vitae Weddings (Stacie) photographed our engagements (X2), rehearsal, wedding, and my bridals and I will never get over how incredibly beautiful they turned out. Her ability to capture a love story in such a stunning and timeless way is admirable and simply… UNMATCHED. I can sit here and fumble for the right words in an attempt to describe her talent but words wouldn’t do it justice, her photos speak for themselves. Family members and other vendors even noticed her expertise and dedication to making sure our day was captured in the way she promised. I wouldn’t have wanted to do it without her. Her turn around time is also something to be noted. After each session she always sent a sneak peek in what seemed like just a few days and then you would receive the whole album of the session shortly after. Stacie also makes the whole process of accessing/downloading your photos sooo simple. But I could go on and on and on… just do yourself a favor and book Vitae Weddings. We’re forever grateful we did!

We feel so lucky we had the opportunity to work with Stacie for a photo session with our new baby boy! From the minute she came over that morning, Stacie made us all feel at ease with her kindness and warmth; including our 4 month old and our dog! She did such a wonderful job capturing our little family together at home. The session felt easy and natural instead of overly posed or planned, and the final photos were so beautiful and professional looking! I spent a lot of time researching wedding photographers in the Austin area and I can tell you right now I would chose Vitae Weddings over and over again. Stacie's ability to capture a love story and freeze frame time, is simply unmatched. I had a couple different visions for our engagement pictures and she made it come to life. We got our pictures back and I remember thinking that Stacie was a magician because there was no way my fiancé and I were that cute!! Let's be honest no one wants those dreadful prom looking poses as your engagement pictures and shooting with Stacie was far from that. Before I met Stacie, I was a little worried that our venue did not provide the same amazing landscape opportunities like those featured in some of my favorite pieces by her online (note: our venue was small with more of a backyard wedding feel), but she quickly identified the best spots and angles in the house and captured the light in the most creative ways. Choosing Vitae Weddings to shoot our wedding was hands down the best decision that I made in the entire process of wedding planning. Stacie (and Bret) were both so laid-back and genuine and made me feel at ease and comfortable on what can otherwise be an extremely stressful day. WOW WOW WOW! We were totally shocked by the amount of photos we got back from our wedding. Vitae captured every moment of our big day perfectly and there are so many amazing pictures to choose from. We just received our preview and I am absolutely speechless. I can't even believe it's us in those photos. Even more than that though - Stacie was incredible. My now husband is a man of few words and on our wedding night as we were talking about the day he just said "Stacie was great. There was so much going on & she had such a calming energy." We didn't feel rushed AND we were able to get all the shots while still having enough time to join the cocktail hour for a bit, which was important to us. We absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Stacie and Callie’s work! They did our engagement session, along with my boudoir photos. Everything turned out better than we imagined! Beyond beautiful, and all of our family and friends still compliment our engagement photos. Stacie helped me feel so comfortable during the boudoir shoot. Due to the pandemic, we had to move our wedding to April 2021 (the original date was May 2020). Fortunately, the Vitae team was able to accommodate our new date and a new location! As our wedding approached, Stacie was excellent at communicating with us and even asked if she and her husband (and our second photographer), Brett, could meet us at our rehearsal the day before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Stacie and Brett were wonderful! Not only did they make us feel comfortable, we genuinely had so much fun with them throughout the day. They were both so kind, helpful, and a complete joy to be around. We truly felt like we hit the jackpot with the Vitae team and are so gracious they were a part of our long-awaited special day! We received our sneak peek pictures within two weeks, and we received all of our photos within 3-months. To say we love our pictures is an understatement. They are stunning! Stacie and Bret were amazing! They were so much fun to work with and are just genuinely fantastic people. Vitae is the absolute best!!! They are true artists who have clearly honed their craft over the years. I found Vitae Weddings while searching for photographers on various wedding websites. I went to their website and looked at their photos and fell in love with them. They didn't look like every other wedding photos that I had seen a million times and that's what I was looking for! When we met Stacie and Callie, we instantly loved them and felt super comfortable.. which is a huge thing given how much craziness is happening on the day of the wedding. Could not be more happy with our engagement and wedding photos. Many might think this was risky, not having a personal referral, but after speaking with Stacie and seeing their incredible work, we knew they would be the perfect fit. We look back on our photos and not only love the beauty of the images but are grateful for the real and authentic moments they were able to capture. We had beautiful outdoor wedding at a vineyard and I was also extremely concerned when finding a photographer, about their ability to shoot at night. Stacie and Callie got the most stunning photos of the venue, the lights and our guests on the dance floor!! We couldn’t be happier or more grateful they were part of our day.

Vitae Weddings are the absolute best! Wedding photos are such a huge part of the special day. They were complete pros and delivered tons of beautiful and unique photos. Not your typical wedding photos. We had such a hard time picking for our album. There were so many to choose from. I would not look anywhere else for your photography needs.

We chose them for their candid aesthetic as it matched our style and would best capture our very adventurous wedding - 110 people in a solar powered eco town two hours north of Cabo. Tough conditions and a not so traditional wedding couldn't stop Stacie and Callie. The moments they captured not only left us with beautiful memories but even gave us deep insight into the emotions and interactions that unfolded over the long weekend. Our photos are amazing and yours will be amazing too. These two are professionals of the highest degree and will take the time to find the perfect space, perfect light, perfect moments. Your portraits will be stunning, and the candid shots will show all the joy of your day that you may not have seen. Book them now. (and now for some advice from me having already done the wedding: Spend money on your photographers, your venue, band, and booze. Everything else is just fluff.)

We were more interested in action shots than portraits. We picked Vitae based on the great pics in their portfolio of people enjoying themselves. Wow, did we make the right choice. We have so many great shots of the fantastic moments: my new husband making me laugh, my father-in-law dancing, a few friends having a quiet hug. The photos really capture how the day felt--and what more can you want?

We are beyond thrilled with how our wedding and engagement photos turned out. Stacie and Callie at VITAE were unbelievably amazing to work with and created MAGIC with every photo. They were able to capture perfect moments throughout the entire day and went out of their way to find perfect lighting and backgrounds to take advantage of . Stacie and Callie are a dream to work with. They were so wonderful during our engagement shoot and during our entire wedding day. They have this calming quality about them that made us feel comfortable so we could simply be ourselves. The photos they produce are overwhelming - they're vibrant, dreamy and full of joy.
