that we were unsure about. One of the best things was that on our wedding day, everyone made sure that we were taken care of and that we were enjoying the day. The staff made sure we had food to eat and when we couldn't get to our food right away because of pictures, they made sure to warm it up for us when we were ready. James, the maitre d', made sure to check in with us periodically to see that we were ok. He took care of bustling my dress and even learned how to tie the sash on our traditional Korean outfits. All of our guests have been raving about how the food was great and the genuine kindness of the staff. I hope that another couple will be able to have the opportunity to enjoy their wedding with Stewart Manor!

Their professionalism and kindness are unmatched, especially in the wedding industry where I've heard of plenty of nightmare stories. From the second I met them to picking up my wedding items the day after, I couldn't have been more sure that I was in the best hands with John and James. They truly made the whole day go off without a hitch. James also deserves his own review, and is just the most amazing maître d. I know every other review says how much they want to be friends with him and bring him home forever and they are all completely right, even months after my wedding we are all still saying the same thing. I've never met someone who is as good at what they do as him. I truly just don't even have the right words to tell you how amazing James is. You can tell that he truly loves what he does and puts everything into it and in turn helps you have the best day ever. Everything was perfect and John was incredibly helpful in making that happen. Any ideas I had were answered with "we can make that happen". My wedding was the last weekend in October for which we ended up having perfect weather but John was on top of options for us way before we even knew the forecast. We had about 150 people and it didn't feel cramped at all. You can utilize the outdoor space all night (we had a cigar roller come) as well as the cocktail area throughout the night and it just makes for the perfect amount of space for people to split up. We were able to have cocktail tables outside for cocktail hour so we had our guests split up between the cocktail room and outside which was perfect, they provided heaters for the outdoor area. I also can't say enough about the food, it was absolutely amazing. I have been hearing from everyone since my wedding how amazing the food was, it really was amazing. Definitely some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding. I truly can't say enough about SMCC. You won't be disappointed in the slightest having your wedding here, you will be in the best hands.

The team was so flexible and accommodating, they gave me really great guidance on decorations, florals, DJ, and the order of events for the evening. Lisa was so helpful during the planning process, helping us with our menu and making sure we stayed on top of our timeline. James is hands down the BEST event manager I’ve ever encountered during an event! I met with him the week before to drop off my decorations and I was in AWE when I arrived and everything was set up exactly how we discussed and even better than I could have imagined. The food was SO GOOD, my guests were raving about everything from the cocktail hour, to the dinner, to the dessert spread. We are so thankful for the entire team, John, Lisa, James and the fantastic service staff at Stewart Manor Country Club and will truly never forget the amazing night they hosted for us ❤️ 20/10 recommend for any type of event (shower, engagement party, wedding, etc.)

to be on the coldest day of the year, and John and James pulled out all the stops to help us move our wedding portraits inside, in front of the beautiful fire place and mantle. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The food was delicious, my guests are still raving about the filet mignon. And there was never a line at the bar. The service was truly phenomenal. James helped my groom and I to have a special moment listening to the band practice and enjoy each other's company before joining the cocktail hour. They also recommended a cigar roller and a dessert fire truck which completely blew our guests away. Fire Engine Foods supplied our guests with cinnamon buns, churros, deep fried Oreos, cookies, popcorn, and our FAVORITE apple cider donuts. This ending to our wedding was the icing on the cake. If you are looking for a venue that will make you feel like family and make your dreams come true, look no further than the Stewart Manor Country Club. If we could do it all over again, we would pick John, James, and the SMCC in a heart beat!

SMCC is exactly that! After meeting John and James, it made the decision even easier. They truly make you feel like family since they only host one wedding at a time. Not many venues these days invite you for a free menu tasting. Once my husband and our parents had our tasting, booking with Stewart Manor was the easiest decision! The food is excellent and many of our guests have raved about it. James made sure every aspect of our day went smoothly. He is truly the most incredible Maître D in the business! My mother was so stressed about bustling my dress and James did it in less than 7 minutes in between the ceremony and cocktail hour. He goes above and beyond in every single aspect, we truly couldn't have asked for anything more! This venue deserves way more than 5 stars- book your wedding here!!!!

beautiful gazebo (the stone walkway is a great new aisle!) and went right into cocktail & reception. The cocktail hour stations are delicious and fun (Coney Island station was a hit!!) James bustled my dress in a flash and was there whenever we needed him! The afterparty was beautiful with the flowers, lights and we were able to set up games like cornhole and large jenga. Cannot recommend Stewart Manor enough!!!

Our wedding day was truly a dream, and everything was executed seamlessly and beautifully. The venue was beautiful. The gazebo was perfect for our ceremony and the dining room for our reception was stunning. James and John were there to ensure everything went smoothly. James anticipated our every need that day. He worked with our photographer to coordinate our first look, managed our onsite vendors, pinned the boutonnières on our groomsmen, ensured that everything was decorated to our specifications, and even helped reformat our ceremony precession and reception introductions when one of my bridesmaids dropped out the night before the wedding. During our reception, James always made himself available; he bustled my dress and pinned it up when it was stepped on, helped me in and out of my wedding shoes, and refilled my glass with sparkling rosé before I even asked. He is truly a gem, and I was so grateful to have him as our day-of coordinator. I could go on and on about how fabulous this venue is. Until this day, our guests are still talking about how much they loved the drinks, food, and atmosphere. Our wedding was one for the books and it’s all thanks to the love and care that John, James, and their staff put into giving us the best day of our lives. I highly recommend Stewart Manor Country Club for all your event needs and we look forward to coming back for future events.

From menu changes, to stocking the bar with special beers, even setting up heat lamps and an outdoor tent for our guest to help us accommodate our large party, they really pulled out all the stops for us. We are so glad we decided not to go the "Wedding Factory" route and choose a place like Stewart manor. Other places would have nickel-and-dimed us every step of the way and our experience here was anything but that. Stewart Manor is truly a special place and I would recommend it to anyone!

They don’t nickel and dime you for every little thing and are not trying to upcharge you as some other halls do. Finally, the reason you book the Stewart Manor is clearly for the relationships and customer service. James is by far, the greatest person to do this job in the entire world! We had to move our wedding on multiple occasions and he was there every step of the way to help us through it. James’s customer support is unrivaled and unmatched. A few minutes into our wedding the maid of honor broke a shoe and James repaired it himself and even called a local shoe repair for advice! James ran around the place to make sure every single detail was perfect and that we had everything we needed. It is because of James that I would never consider having any of my major events at any other place and will surely be back to the Stewart Manor in the future. P.S. ask for Billy the bartender the guy is a legend!!

James is a mind reader and is there at every moment you need him or even think that you might. A true gentleman who is so very attentive and treats you like family. This is a beautiful and special place inside and out and I would recommend it to ANYONE. My fiance and I are trying to think of ways to use this venue again and again.

icians and a fairly complicated equipment set-up as well.  Given this, I'm able to write this review from a truly singular perspective.  The bottom line is, Stewart Manor Country Club was Five Stars in every respect. The space itself is truly lovely, a perfect blend of high-end elegance and cozy intimacy.  The outdoor space, where the ceremony was held, is stunning, especially in the autumn with the surrounding trees in their finest colors.  The cocktail lounge and bar, as well as the main room, feel warm and inviting; little details like an active fireplace in the reception room and the window-seat benches in the cocktail lounge create an atmosphere that is effortlessly classy.  I can't imagine a place more perfectly suited for a wedding or private event. The food and drink were restaurant-quality right down the line, from salad to dessert. Frankly, I can’t remember the last time I relished every bite of the main course at a wedding; there’s usually something on the plate that disappoints. Not in this case. I would recommend the food here over similar venues in a heartbeat. My greatest praise, however, must be reserved for our event host, maitre’d and man who ran the show, James. To say that James did an incredible job putting everyone at ease and making every part of this event successful is to say the least. His sincerity, care and professionalism extends to everyone who visits Stewart Manor Country Club—and that most notably includes visiting musicians. Trust me, I’ve worked at every level of venue from little hole-in-the-wall restaurants to the most tony event locations in NYC and Long Island, and I’ve seldom if ever come across a maitre’d who goes out of his way to support and accommodate “outside” musicians, clergy, photographers, etc. like James. That kind of care tells you everything you need to know about what you’ll encounter if you book your event at Stewart Manor Country Club. It’s simply the best.

If you’re looking for an intimate, rustic feel for your wedding, Stewart Manor is the place for you. The food was excellent. The outdoor space for ceremony and cocktail hour is gorgeous. The ballroom has been renovated and looks charming and elegant. The entire staff made it a point to ensure my husband and I felt comfortable and tended to the entire day. At no point (over the course of two years planning, delaying, etc.) did anyone pressure us in any way, or give us a hard time. Overall, amazing experience. aking care of his brides! He’s the nicest!!! And there’s is a reason why James is famous on The Knot. He is the hardest worker. Leading up to our wedding he was so helpful answering questions and allowing me to bounce ideas off of him. He even stepped in for me when I had an issue with my band. During the reception, he’s there by your side to help the entire time. I had multiple people come up to me at the end of the reception and say how awesome James was, including my photographer! Not only was he there helping me out, but he made all the transitions from cocktail hour to getting announced to the party seamless. At one point in the night he even had a waiters coat on! He was carrying 14 plates at a time and was handing out meals! He does it all!!! I also had everyone comment about the food!! The cocktail hour stations are incredible. People went nuts over the bbq, Italian, mashed potato bar, and Coney Island stations. The mac and cheese and brisket were a huge hit! Everyone at Stewart Manor were helpful, kind, and professional. I hope I get invited to someone else’s wedding at Stewart Manor CC, so I can experience it again!
