Had our wedding here last weekend and I cannot adequately express how perfect it was. People are still messaging me about the food. James is phenomenal, to the point that now the wedding is over, I kind of miss him 😂. Lisa and John were amazing with the pre-planning. Incredibly attentive staff, tasteful venue, great memories.

My Son & my new Daughter in law had their wedding here yesterday. I can't say thank you enough to John, James, Lisa & every single person who worked their wedding. The attention to detail, the food, the beautiful property, & the service was unbeatable. I have never experienced such a good time at an event. So thank you again, again & again for making my Son & my daughter in law's special day so perfect

We held a bridal shower at Stewart Manor Country Club recently. The service was excellent. The level or professionalism and attention to detail was extraordinary! We received comments that this was the best shower people attended. With the food, the drinks and the service, I would definitely agree! Thank you so much John, James, Lisa and Daniela for making our daughter’s day so special!

I have been writing this review in my head since we booked Stewart Manor Country Club in 2023. If my review feels like plagiarism, it’s not…it’s just LITERALLY all true. My husband and I got married June 15th and it was the most perfect summer day. As soon as I walked into SMCC, my heart rate stabilized and I could finally just smile and party. Book them, just do it! My novel: after our initial appointment with Lisa, we walked out and were ready to book. Of course all the wedding blogs say to shop around etc. but every place we visited was underwhelming in comparison. Why? Because working with people who actually want to make your day special is PRICELESS. People like Lisa, John, James are not the norm, they care about you. They are beyond accommodating and patient. And, they didn’t make me feel like I was crazy, even though I was crazy lol. We were working closely with Lisa who is phenomenal. All of our questions and calls and emails were answered promptly. Better yet, every call was met with “how are you, how’s your job going, how’s your husband etc.” Lisa, you are a gem!!! John (the owner) is so down to earth, humble and kind. SMCC is like going to Sunday dinner with your very cool and high functioning parents. And now for James. JAMES 👏🏻 is to die for. He is magical and exceptional at his job (and an exceptionally kind human being). Our guests were taken care of, the decor was on point, and the bride and groom…pampered. No coordinator needed when you have James or SMCC for that matter. Look, James just does everything and anything. Feed us, check. Bustle, no prob. Fix anything broken, no prob. Handle our crazy family, easy. I just can’t stop smiling and my guests can’t stop raving about the service, the food, the everything. Again, just book them already.

My wife Elizabeth and I were fortunate enough to celebrate our marriage at Stewart Manor Country Club in May 18th, 2024. We had eloped in October ‘23, and were searching for a venue to host a celebration with family and friends to commemorate our special day. Words cannot even fully express the level of professionalism, generosity, and efficiency of the staff thanks to their wonderful owner John. This man made everything so easy for us, and went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly and seamlessly on our big day without a hitch. I cannot express gratitude enough for everything he put together for our wedding brunch. James was also fantastic to work with and helped us set up all of our props. He did an outstanding job decorating not only with our self-brought props but additional items and nuances that culminated in a spectacular ambiance for us and our guests. Lisa was instrumental in planning our guest-to-table placement, table cloth/napkin color coordination, and the overall financials. The food was delicious, with a great assortment of dishes that could easily satisfy any palate. Not to mention their vegetarian and other food-group sensitive options that make sure everyone eats something that they can enjoy. Overall our experience with Stewart Manor Country Club was extremely special and unique. It is a day that my wife and I will look back on for years to come as being a major highlight of our relationship together. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a top-notch staff, excellent food, and superior level of service no matter the gathering at hand. Thank you John, James, Lisa, Billy (the coolest bartender around) for the hospitality and the memories 🙏

John and Stewart made our day so special 💚 Billy behind the bar was also fantastic. Everyone was so warm and helpful. Food was fantastic and of course the venue is beautiful. What talented professionals they all are

John, James & Lisa made our wedding so incredibly special. SMCC is so beautiful and everything went even better than we dreamed. I can’t say enough about how smoothly everything went. Our families and friends are STILL talking about how amazing the food was & how beautiful everything turned out. The pricing also was very fair. The venue also lent us several things so we didn’t have to purchase them (like an easel for our welcome sign), which just helps defray costs. Everything we wanted, they made it happen. James was so attentive & helpful day of, you definitely do not need a wedding coordinator if you use this venue as they do everything. Lisa also communicated with us and answered my several questions promptly and was very kind through the whole process. I would recommend this venue 1000000/10.

The service was absolutely perfect. Everything flowed wonderfully from the moment we showed up after the ceremony until the last guest left. All of our guests complemented the food. We wound up in a situation that we had to alter our wedding date and they were beyond accommodating in every way and made our day spectacular. They walked us through everything and made this a day we will never forget. The venue is beautiful and all of our pictures looked great with this place's aesthetics in the background. We could not recommend this place or its staff enough for how much they did for us and how great our day came out.

Not my wedding but a friend's wedding we went to last night. The service was great, the space was beautiful, and the food was DELICIOUS. My one note I would give prospective couples is that a wedding with more than 100 people in this space might feel a little tight. I also want to give a special a special shout out to James, the maitre'd there. I got a migraine about half way through the reception and took myself to a small quiet hallway to try and settle it down. When he found out about my migraine, he immediately lowered the lights, got me some Advil and water, and insisted I let him know if I need anything else. The fact that he took time for that amongst the 5,000 things he needed to do that night was incredibly thoughtful!! If you're having a small-medium wedding in the tri state area, this is a great reception venue!

If your on the fence about booking Stewart Manor for your wedding - DO it! We got married October 2023 and can honestly not say enough good things about the venue and the team. The club gives off cozy country club vibes - not too fancy - which was perfect for us. Lisa, Jon, and James made the day of and all the details and planning easy - despite the hectic nature of a wedding. Honestly I could write a whole review about James himself and how amazing, attentive, and kind he was. (Seriously just get married here for James alone! My one bridesmaid even tried to hire him for her wedding!) The food (and food tasting) was incredible, the fireplace was on for the ceremony (raining out) - which made the ceremony extra special and cozy. The day FLEW by but every time I needed anything they were there to take care out it. I really can not say enough good things! Thank you again! -Lisa, Michael, and the hidden pumpkins

We had our wedding reception at Stewart Manor Country Club on December 3, 2023. SMCC was the third venue we toured and from the moment we walked in to the ballroom we knew that this was it. The venue is meticulously maintained, and has a super clean, classy vibe. We toured other places after this and nothing could compare to how well manicured this place is. You can tell that it is ran with passion and attention to details that often get overlooked. But even if the venue could not sell it self based on looks alone, John, James and Lisa certainly could. They were each amazing to deal with. When we went to book we had the most delicious tasting, they fed us so much and everything they brought out was better than then next. John really goes above and beyond for his couples and you can tell how passionate he is about his venue. Lisa is a sweetheart, she’s always willing to help and has the patience of a saint. When finalizing our menu we must have asked her a million different ridiculous questions and she was always so helpful. As far as James, all the reviews you see for him are true. He’s excellent. From bustling my ballgown to making sure we ate, he allowed us to enjoy our day without having to lift a finger. James was prepared for anything. He was always keeping an eye on us and anticipating our needs, which really kept the pressure off. He really is fantastic and made sure everything was smooth and perfect for us. Our guests said they had a great time, the food was truly amazing!

My husband and I could not be happier with the hospitality, warmth, care, professionalism, and attention to detail that the team at Stewart Manor Country Club provided for our wedding. John, Lisa, and James (and Dani!) are absolutely amazing at what they do. Not only do they have the ability to execute any ideas that you may have, they have a wealth of knowledge (and seemingly endless warehouse of decorations) that they are more than happy to share to make your wedding day absolutely perfect. Leading up to our wedding, we gave James our general design plan and supplied decorations that we thought fit the theme (winter library), but otherwise gave little specific guidance on how to set up ceremony space or the various spaces within the venue (since we had neither the energy nor artistic eye to plan out those details). What James was able to put together for us was absolutely stunning and better than anything we could have imagined. In fact, we have had multiple guests describe the ambiance James was able to create for us as “stunning” and “magical.” On the day of our wedding, my husband and I wanted for nothing. Indeed, without ever having to ask for anything, the team at SMCC anticipated our every need. James, in particular, had everything we never knew we needed within arms reach (including, among other things, fashion tape, a scrunchy, and bobby pins, all of which James kept stored in his fashion-forward utility vest), and did everything he possibly could (including holding the train of my dress outside in the rain while we were outside smoking) to ensure my husband and I were as comfortable as possible. We’ve heard from many guests that their experience with SMCC’s team was no less amazing. Our guests all raved about the food, particularly the filet mignon and chicken francaise, and marveled at the table service for bar drinks (which seems all but unheard of these days). My husband happened to be partial to the spinach ravioli alfredo served with dinner, and I loved the mac & cheese included in the BBQ station and the buffalo chicken pizza from the pizza station. When my husband and I were choosing between wedding venues, many venues we looked at seemed to be nothing more than wedding factories. Almost every venue we visited or contacted focused their sales pitch on one thing: what services they could sell us from their catalogue of cookie-cutter wedding options. SMCC was different. In fact, after a long day of visiting venues, we realized that Lisa of SMCC was the only person we had met at any venue who bothered to ask my husband and I about our relationship and our interests—e.g., how we met, how my husband had proposed, what we did for a living, what we did for fun, and what we were looking for in a wedding venue. It was this human touch that made SMCC stand out among the sea of venue options. And it is this human touch that I believe makes the team at SMCC excel at what they do. Simply put, the SMCC team cares, which makes all the difference. We highly recommend anyone looking for an intimate, personalized wedding with a human touch to check out SMCC! We guarantee you will not be disappointed.

I can’t say enough to thank everyone at the Stewart Manor Country Club for all they did to make our daughter's wedding such a beautiful and memorable day. From the gorgeous landscaping out front to the delicious food starting with the cocktail hour through the dinner and onto the dessert buffet, people were complimenting us on our choice of venue to host our daughter’s special day. John the owner could not do enough for us. He assisted throughout the evening, making us and all of our guests feel so welcome. James made the process for our daughter and ourselves a pleasure, was attentive and available checking in frequently throughout the evening, and engaging in lighthearted fun with all the guests. We couldn’t have been happier from start to finish and would highly recommend the Stewart Manor Country Club for your big day.

Book them immediately, do NOT think just do you, you’ll be amazed. First and foremost, Lisa, John and James are 10/10. There’s no words to describe them, from the moment we came in to when we left, it felt like they were family and not some money hungry wedding venue. We went to nearly 40 venues all requiring massive amounts of money and when asked what for they didn’t have a solid answer for. Stewart manor, complete opposite, they know how to do business and literally tell you everything up front! Want to try the food before booking? Go for it. Throughout our year of planning from when we signed with Stewart manor, we literally would meet people through work or friends and would hear unbelievable stories about how well Stewart manor handles their events. From James being a freakin Superman to Lisa handling your paperwork then serving attendees during your event and even John checking in on all the guests, how they’re doing, how they like the venue, the food, drinks, atmosphere. Now onto James because I think he needs his own review, James who is basically the guy that handles everything for you from week of and day of the wedding is literally a Superman. This guy was serving the bridal party drinks, fixing the brides dress, making sure all vendors arrived and even setup the main room all while running around and continuously just being the most hospitable host anyone could be. While the bridal party was taking photos outside, James popped out of one of the front windows with 7 drinks and was half way out of the window serving my bridal party. This guy ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!!!! Book Stewart manor, you’ll be so happy you did. Thank you Lisa James and John!!!!!! We’ll be back!

Stewart Manor was the perfect venue for our wedding this past July! From the very beginning, the entire team and staff did their best to make us and our families feel confident and at ease that our special day would go smoothly. John and James were both SO SO incredible in the planning process and on the day itself, making it an amazing day for us, our families, and our guests. The food at Stewart Manor was excellent in taste, quantity, and variety (everybody complimented a different menu item!). The venue is very tasteful and looked amazing both inside and outside on the gorgeous lawn. Overall, we do not have enough good things to say about our wedding at Stewart Manor, and we would recommend that anyone looking to have a beautiful Long Island wedding book here.

I got married at Stewart Manor Country Club on September 5, 2021. James and the owner were great leading up to the day and assured me that I had nothing to worry about. Day-of, we had some hiccups with inclement weather and they made everything work last minute. Everyone loved the venue and food. They are extremely professional and all of the vendors in the area know them and were very pleased to work with them.

It’s been a little over a week since our wedding and we are still glowing with joy from such a perfect day. It’s cliche, but RUN don’t walk to book your wedding or event at Stewart Manor Country Club. Lisa, James and John are not only incessantly helpful, they make you feel like family and that they are throwing a wedding for one of their own. Up until the day, we must have called Lisa 900 times and she never got sick of us. From our first of the 900 calls to our last appointment for decor drop off, she made a nervous bride feel at ease. If you know me, that is not an easy task. She was our point person until the day of our wedding and crucial to making it the magical day it was. Fast forward to wedding day. Every last detail was impeccable - from when I got there with grass stains on my dress and James tide penned it out to when I stayed at least a half an hour past our time with not one mention of it from the staff. My outdoor ceremony was breathtaking because they keep the grounds absolutely perfect. During cocktail hour, John watched as we happily greeted all of our guests but also was kind enough to make us heaping plates of all the food we had to offer our guests. Because of his attention and care we got to enjoy our cocktail hour to the utmost, which every bride knows is nearly impossible. The food itself is phenomenal - everything - but I’d die for their ravioli Alfredo. James is a mixology wizard and due to his creativity we had 2 signature drinks that our guests have not stopped talking about (mine was a margarita that changed colors)! We added as many personal touches as we could throughout the wedding. We had a unique seating chart that James had to set up without our input, signs candles frames lights flowers the whole shebang. Every single piece of decor was arranged exactly as I had envisioned in each space, with care and an artful eye. The reception space is gorgeous and while it fits 150+ people, every second felt wonderfully intimate. The way it is set up allowed me to see and dance with all of my guests. The waitstaff took such excellent care of my guests and I was not in need for even one second. John James and Sandy made sure I always had a drink in my hand and food on my plate, and my husband even got a second filet mignon. He even went to refuse it, and was reminded that he was the man of the hour and could have anything he wanted. The staff treats you exactly how you want to be treated on your wedding day. Without going into detail, I had a bit of family drama unfold and James saved the day with that as well. You are just in the best hands and the best company with SMCC. There are too many good things to say. I will be forever grateful for the incredible day and night these guys gave us. We will miss them, but we’ll see them for our baby shower and anniversary and any other excuse we have!!

Words cannot totally capture how special this place is or how much they did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. From the moment we met James and John at our first visit, we know this place was where we wanted to get married. It was clear that they take a very personal approach to couples and will go above and beyond to help you create your dream wedding. We literally both left in tears, because we knew we found the venue that felt like home to us both. This only became more true throughout the planning process and on the day of. Our tasting was phenomenal, and getting to bring our parents made it so much more special (they even packed stuff up for my dad who was home with COVID). The day we dropped everything off James made me feel so comfortable and excited. I trusted him completely, and for good reason. He seriously knows what he is doing, and will make sure your day is perfect. The day of our wedding, I swear he knew I needed a glass of water before my brain could even recognize I was thirsty and appeared with my sneakers the second my feet had had enough of my heels. Just another example of how this venue goes above and beyond for their brides. My table numbers did not fit into the wooden stands that they came with, which John told me during cocktail hour because I had never thought to even check. I was so happy and so in love with the day already that I said I was totally fine with whatever they put out, and I meant it. When we walked into the reception hall, all of my table numbers were out. They shaved down the slot in the wooden stands of each one during the cocktail hour to make my vision come to life. Truly unbelievable and so so special! From start to finish our day was perfect, and so much of that is thanks to everyone at SMCC!

Book your wedding here !! I would give 20 stars if I could. Me and my husband just got married here and it was amazing! John, James and Lisa went above and beyond to make sure our day went beautifully and it did! John (the owner) even went out of his way to make me and my husband two plates of food during cocktail hour. If it wasn’t for him I surely wouldn’t have eaten until dinner. James, OMG I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful he is to have by your side on your wedding day!!! He was by my side all day if I needed ANYTHING. HE EVEN BUSTLED MY DRESS FOR ME and repaired it with safety pins when I had a wardrobe malfunction. He is simply the BEST!! The food was sooooo delicious and plentiful. Best food I have ever had at a wedding (not just because it was my own). The venue itself is gorgeous and I LOVE that you are not sharing the venue with anyone else. Seriously, I could not be happier with the service we had on our wedding day. This is a very special place with some VERY special people working there. Thank you everyone at Stewart manor for all that you did for us. We are so grateful to have booked our wedding here!!!!!

We could not have picked a better venue! Our day was rained out but Stewart manor made sure everything was still just as beautiful as it would’ve been outside. People are still raving about the service and food. James was absolutely amazing, so attentive and just on the ball all night. I didn’t have a single worry throughout the day because he was already on it. We just had so much fun, all of our guests had so much fun, and it was just the most beautiful day we could’ve ever asked for.

I could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding! The staff at Stewart Manor worked with me throughout the wedding planning process. I loved that there was open communication and I could reach out to James and Lisa anytime with any questions I had. I gave them my vision for the wedding, and they made it come to life. The space is beautiful, the food was amazing, and all the staff were so nice and accommodating. I loved having James as our officiant and maitre d. On the day of my wedding there were a few things I was worried about and James reassured me and took care of everything. We had an amazing time at our wedding and I would highly recommend using Stewart Manor Country Club for your weddings or events.

James, John, Lisa, and the staff at Stewart Manor made ALL of our wedding dreams come true!! From the second we saw the venue, we knew that it was the one. We cannot thank them enough for helping make our big day UNFORGETTABLE! From start to finish they were attentive, professional, and accommodating. Stewart Manor CC was the absolute best for our wedding. From beginning to end, everyone on staff was kind and helpful every step of the way. They always answered any questions we had and were also helpful in providing any suggestions for parts that we were unsure about. One of the best things was that on our wedding day, everyone made sure that we were taken care of and that we were enjoying the day. The staff made sure we had food to eat and when we couldn't get to our food right away because of pictures, they made sure to warm it up for us when we were ready. James, the maitre d', made sure to check in with us periodically to see that we were ok. He took care of bustling my dress and even learned how to tie the sash on our traditional Korean outfits. All of our guests have been raving about how the food was great and the genuine kindness of the staff. I hope that another couple will be able to have the opportunity to enjoy their wedding with Stewart Manor!

SMCC is the absolute most incredible place to have your wedding. If you are looking to have confidence in the vendors you choose, you MUST have your wedding (or any event) here. I had never been to a wedding here before, but visited just because of the reviews I was seeing online. After meeting with John and James I left there knowing I needed to book with them. Their professionalism and kindness are unmatched, especially in the wedding industry where I've heard of plenty of nightmare stories. From the second I met them to picking up my wedding items the day after, I couldn't have been more sure that I was in the best hands with John and James. They truly made the whole day go off without a hitch. James also deserves his own review, and is just the most amazing maître d. I know every other review says how much they want to be friends with him and bring him home forever and they are all completely right, even months after my wedding we are all still saying the same thing. I've never met someone who is as good at what they do as him. I truly just don't even have the right words to tell you how amazing James is. You can tell that he truly loves what he does and puts everything into it and in turn helps you have the best day ever. Everything was perfect and John was incredibly helpful in making that happen. Any ideas I had were answered with "we can make that happen". My wedding was the last weekend in October for which we ended up having perfect weather but John was on top of options for us way before we even knew the forecast. We had about 150 people and it didn't feel cramped at all. You can utilize the outdoor space all night (we had a cigar roller come) as well as the cocktail area throughout the night and it just makes for the perfect amount of space for people to split up. We were able to have cocktail tables outside for cocktail hour so we had our guests split up between the cocktail room and outside which was perfect, they provided heaters for the outdoor area. I also can't say enough about the food, it was absolutely amazing. I have been hearing from everyone since my wedding how amazing the food was, it really was amazing. Definitely some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding. I truly can't say enough about SMCC. You won't be disappointed in the slightest having your wedding here, you will be in the best hands.

I hosted my engagement party at Stewart Manor Country Club this past Saturday and I cannot thank them enough for such a beautiful night! From the moment I first spoke to their team, they made everything so easy. The beautiful grounds and interior make for an amazing experience from the second guests arrive. The team was so flexible and accommodating, they gave me really great guidance on decorations, florals, DJ, and the order of events for the evening. Lisa was so helpful during the planning process, helping us with our menu and making sure we stayed on top of our timeline. James is hands down the BEST event manager I’ve ever encountered during an event! I met with him the week before to drop off my decorations and I was in AWE when I arrived and everything was set up exactly how we discussed and even better than I could have imagined. The food was SO GOOD, my guests were raving about everything from the cocktail hour, to the dinner, to the dessert spread. We are so thankful for the entire team, John, Lisa, James and the fantastic service staff at Stewart Manor Country Club and will truly never forget the amazing night they hosted for us ❤️ 20/10 recommend for any type of event (shower, engagement party, wedding, etc.)

Stewart Manor Country Club exceeded all of our expectations!! John, James and Lisa were absolutely fantastic in helping us achieve a spectacular day. They went above and beyond to help us have the wedding of our dreams. Our wedding day happened to be on the coldest day of the year, and John and James pulled out all the stops to help us move our wedding portraits inside, in front of the beautiful fire place and mantle. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The food was delicious, my guests are still raving about the filet mignon. And there was never a line at the bar. The service was truly phenomenal. James helped my groom and I to have a special moment listening to the band practice and enjoy each other's company before joining the cocktail hour. I would highly recommend Stewart Manor Country Club to anyone who wanted to get married in the area! 5 Stars for sure!

The staff and service at Stewart Manor is EXCEPTIONAL! Our wedding was beyond what we’ve imagine. It was truly perfect thanks to the staff at Stewart Manor! John, James, Lisa went above and beyond for us in order to ensure we have a perfect wedding, and the result… absolutely PERFECT! We visited several venues but when we met with James at SMCC we fell in love with it immediately. It lived up to every expectation and more! James had an incredible energy and positive attitude and made us feel so special on our day. John made sure that we ate food at cocktail hour and at the reception. James and John were so attentive to us and our parents making sure we had drinks and were comfortable throughout the day. The day went so smoothly and organized due to James. The room was set up exactly how we explained it to James. We received rave reviews from our guests - everyone had a spectacular time. We went to the Stewart Manor Country Club as our first wedding venue visit. Once we met John and James, we knew that this was the place we wanted to have our wedding. They both went above and beyond to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. Their attention to every little detail made us and our guests thrilled. Everyone said that you could feel our love! They also recommended a cigar roller and a dessert fire truck which completely blew our guests away. Fire Engine Foods supplied our guests with cinnamon buns, churros, deep fried Oreos, cookies, popcorn, and our FAVORITE apple cider donuts. This ending to our wedding was the icing on the cake. If you are looking for a venue that will make you feel like family and make your dreams come true, look no further than the Stewart Manor Country Club. If we could do it all over again, we would pick John, James, and the SMCC in a heart beat!

Stewart Manor Country Club truly made all of my wedding dreams come true! From the moment my husband and I walked into Stewart Manor on our tour, we knew it was the venue for us! I always wanted an affordable rustic style venue with lights and SMCC is exactly that! After meeting John and James, it made the decision even easier. They truly make you feel like family since they only host one wedding at a time. Not many venues these days invite you for a free menu tasting. Once my husband and our parents had our tasting, booking with Stewart Manor was the easiest decision! The food is excellent and many of our guests have raved about it. James made sure every aspect of our day went smoothly. He is truly the most incredible Maître D in the business! My mother was so stressed about bustling my dress and James did it in less than 7 minutes in between the ceremony and cocktail hour. He goes above and beyond in every single aspect, we truly couldn't have asked for anything more! This venue deserves way more than 5 stars- book your wedding here!!!!

Stewart Manor was the first wedding venue we looked at, instantly fell in love and no other venue came close to comparing! James and John went above and beyond to make our wedding day the most perfect and magical day! We had our ceremony in the beautiful gazebo (the stone walkway is a great new aisle!) and went right into cocktail & reception. The cocktail hour stations are delicious and fun (Coney Island station was a hit!!) James bustled my dress in a flash and was there whenever we needed him! The afterparty was beautiful with the flowers, lights and we were able to set up games like cornhole and large jenga. Cannot recommend Stewart Manor enough!!!

Stewart Manor Country Club helped create the wedding of my dreams! The service, food, and attention to detail was outstanding. From the very first meeting, James and John both made my husband and I feel at home and welcomed. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is running as smoothly as possible and are so accommodating. It is not your typical wedding venue. They make you feel like family. The night of my wedding, James was not only attentive to my husband and I, but to our parents and bridal party as well. John the owner was helping serve guests and present the whole night ensuring we had a great time. The guests raved about the food and how friendly the staff was. My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at Stewart Manor Country Club. From the moment we visited the venue for the first time, we fell in love and immediately knew that we wanted to get married here. From the very beginning, we were treated like family. We were even invited to have a menu tasting with our Maid-of-Honor and Best Man before signing our contract. The service we received was unparalleled. John, the owner, and James, the maître d', were amazing and helped us plan our ceremony and reception every step of the way. They took their time to answer all our questions with charm and grace, and we had a lot of them! James took his time to help us outline the run of show and saw to it that every detail was taken care of, from the bar customizations to the special food requests. Our wedding day was truly a dream, and everything was executed seamlessly and beautifully. The venue was beautiful. The gazebo was perfect for our ceremony and the dining room for our reception was stunning. James and John were there to ensure everything went smoothly. James anticipated our every need that day. He worked with our photographer to coordinate our first look, managed our onsite vendors, pinned the boutonnières on our groomsmen, ensured that everything was decorated to our specifications, and even helped reformat our ceremony precession and reception introductions when one of my bridesmaids dropped out the night before the wedding. During our reception, James always made himself available; he bustled my dress and pinned it up when it was stepped on, helped me in and out of my wedding shoes, and refilled my glass with sparkling rosé before I even asked. He is truly a gem, and I was so grateful to have him as our day-of coordinator. I could go on and on about how fabulous this venue is. Until this day, our guests are still talking about how much they loved the drinks, food, and atmosphere. Our wedding was one for the books and it’s all thanks to the love and care that John, James, and their staff put into giving us the best day of our lives. 5/2/2022 I recently had my daughter's Bridal shower at this charming venue which was absolutely beautiful! The entire event was fabulous from start to finish! The food was outstanding. The staff was amazing. And then of course there was James our maitre d/manager- he's such a great person - he genuinely cares - very accommodating and made sure everything ran smoothly. This quaint venue hosts only one event at a time - making you feel special. I have not stop talking about what a great time we had. My daughter could not stop smiling. Stewart Manor is truly special! If you are looking for exceptional service, AMAZING Food and cocktail hour and a truly warm and intimate feel, this is the place for you! James and John are some of the most genuine and hardworking people I have ever met, and they were noting but accommodating in every sense of the word. From menu changes, to stocking the bar with special beers, even setting up heat lamps and an outdoor tent for our guest to help us accommodate our large party, they really pulled out all the stops for us. We are so glad we decided not to go the "Wedding Factory" route and choose a place like Stewart manor. Other places would have nickel-and-dimed us every step of the way and our experience here was anything but that. Stewart Manor is truly a special place and I would recommend it to anyone!

We had our reception at SMCC on NYE and it was fantastic. The staff, service, food, the space and everything in between was wonderful. In addition to all of that, James and Johns responsiveness and flexibility was so helpful. We had the best time at our reception and part of it was due to James and his attentiveness, we did not worry about a thing. We would highly recommend SMCC to any couple getting married.

Words can’t begin to describe how perfect the Stewart Manor Country Club is! We got married here in October and they just recently underwent a major renovation, making it an even more stunning location. From the cocktail room, to the bar area, every room is filled with elegance while also making you feel right at home. The Stewart Manor only has one event at a time and works their hardest to make you feel like it’s your special day. They don’t nickel and dime you for every little thing and are not trying to upcharge you as some other halls do. Finally, the reason you book the Stewart Manor is clearly for the relationships and customer service. James is by far, the greatest person to do this job in the entire world! We had to move our wedding on multiple occasions and he was there every step of the way to help us through it. James’s customer support is unrivaled and unmatched. A few minutes into our wedding the maid of honor broke a shoe and James repaired it himself and even called a local shoe repair for advice! James ran around the place to make sure every single detail was perfect and that we had everything we needed. It is because of James that I would never consider having any of my major events at any other place and will surely be back to the Stewart Manor in the future. P.S. ask for Billy the bartender the guy is a legend!!

I wish there were more stars to fill out - this venue and team was an absolute DREAM. The whole process leading up to the wedding was easy, calming, enjoyable and exciting and there are truly not enough words to describe how amazing the wedding day was all because of John and James. They are so personal and really just want to do whatever it takes to make your day special, calm, smooth and beautiful. James is a mind reader and is there at every moment you need him or even think that you might. A true gentleman who is so very attentive and treats you like family. Along with the two of them, the staff as a whole were the nicest and most patient staff I've ever encountered. Extremely attentive and treated you like they've known you forever. This is a beautiful and special place inside and out and I would recommend it to ANYONE. My fiance and I are trying to think of ways to use this venue again and again.

Two of my dearest friends were married here this past weekend.  I was in the unique position of being not only a guest at the wedding, but also the musician for the outdoor ceremony and indoor cocktail hour, which involved a number of other musicians and a fairly complicated equipment set-up as well.  Given this, I'm able to write this review from a truly singular perspective.  The bottom line is, Stewart Manor Country Club was Five Stars in every respect. The space itself is truly lovely, a perfect blend of high-end elegance and cozy intimacy.  The outdoor space, where the ceremony was held, is stunning, especially in the autumn with the surrounding trees in their finest colors.  The cocktail lounge and bar, as well as the main room, feel warm and inviting; little details like an active fireplace in the reception room and the window-seat benches in the cocktail lounge create an atmosphere that is effortlessly classy.  I can't imagine a place more perfectly suited for a wedding or private event. The food and drink were restaurant-quality right down the line, from salad to dessert. Frankly, I can’t remember the last time I relished every bite of the main course at a wedding; there’s usually something on the plate that disappoints. Not in this case. I would recommend the food here over similar venues in a heartbeat. My greatest praise, however, must be reserved for our event host, maitre’d and man who ran the show, James. To say that James did an incredible job putting everyone at ease and making every part of this event successful is to say the least. His sincerity, care and professionalism extends to everyone who visits Stewart Manor Country Club—and that most notably includes visiting musicians. Trust me, I’ve worked at every level of venue from little hole-in-the-wall restaurants to the most tony event locations in NYC and Long Island, and I’ve seldom if ever come across a maitre’d who goes out of his way to support and accommodate “outside” musicians, clergy, photographers, etc. like James. That kind of care tells you everything you need to know about what you’ll encounter if you book your event at Stewart Manor Country Club. It’s simply the best.

Everything from start to finish was truly amazing with James, John and the Stewart Manor team. We felt comfortable throughout the process, and were never pulled in a certain direction. They listened and made sure we were happy with our wedding. It is a smaller venue, that only has one wedding at a time, which was perfect for us. The venue and grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous, and welcoming for guests. James went above and beyond on the day of, and made sure we were always taken care of. We had such a special day at Stewart Manor Country Club, and would highly recommend them to couples searching for a venue.

Just want to give SMCC the best shout out ever!!!! Our wedding was 9/3/21 and it was the most amazing day thanks to John and James! They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and they created the most beautiful day for us, our families and our friends. Our wedding at Stewart Manor Country Club on 8/13/21 was a dream. Besides the beauty of the venue, owner John Parks and maître d’ James Poirot were extremely accommodating, helpful, and caring throughout the whole process (despite having to reschedule twice due to COVID). The venue treated us like family from start to finish. We can’t state that enough. If you’re looking for an intimate, rustic feel for your wedding, Stewart Manor is the place for you. The food was excellent. The outdoor space for ceremony and cocktail hour is gorgeous. The ballroom has been renovated and looks charming and elegant. The entire staff made it a point to ensure my husband and I felt comfortable and tended to the entire day. At no point (over the course of two years planning, delaying, etc.) did anyone pressure us in any way, or give us a hard time. Overall, amazing experience. We could not have asked for more, despite the crazy times. Thank you Stewart Manor!

I want to get divorced so I can have another wedding at Stewart Manor Country Club!!! James Poirot and John Parks are the best you’ll ever find. John Parks has put so much time and energy into remodeling the club, providing amazing food, and taking care of his brides! He’s the nicest!!! And there’s is a reason why James is famous on The Knot. He is the hardest worker. Leading up to our wedding he was so helpful answering questions and allowing me to bounce ideas off of him. He even stepped in for me when I had an issue with my band. During the reception, he’s there by your side to help the entire time. I had multiple people come up to me at the end of the reception and say how awesome James was, including my photographer! Not only was he there helping me out, but he made all the transitions from cocktail hour to getting announced to the party seamless. At one point in the night he even had a waiters coat on! He was carrying 14 plates at a time and was handing out meals! He does it all!!! I also had everyone comment about the food!! The cocktail hour stations are incredible. People went nuts over the bbq, Italian, mashed potato bar, and Coney Island stations. The mac and cheese and brisket were a huge hit! Everyone at Stewart Manor were helpful, kind, and professional. I hope I get invited to someone else’s wedding at Stewart Manor CC, so I can experience it again!

We were married at Stewart Manor on 7/31/21 and had an exception experience. The SMCC team is amazing to work with. You truly feel like you are a member of their family and they really work with you to make your vision come to life. The food was amazing and one thing I really want to highlight was how amazing their entire staff was. James and John did a great job of making everyone feel welcome and the number of guests who specifically reached out to us to share how impressed they were with the service and the team working that evening was overwhelming. We were married at Stewart Manor Country Club on 7/16/2021 and truly could not have asked for a better night. From the very first time we walked into the venue while looking, we felt a sense of comfort come over us (enough that we canceled 8 other appointments to view other venues over the next week). When you get married at Stewart Manor, you feel as though you are becoming part of a family. John and James are both absolutely amazing. The venue had everything we needed, and James and John make sure you have anything else you want. They are there for you in every sense from start to end. The food, the service, the simple/elegant beauty all 10/10! Our guests who had not known about Stewart Manor described it as a hidden gem, and were blown away by the evening. We can't wait to have another celebration at Stewart Manor Country Club.

Due to the pandemic my husband and I had to postpone our big reception but still chose to get married in September and wanted to go somewhere for dinner that would make it a little more special than just a regular restaurant. As we live in Floral Park and we’re having our church ceremony there we immediately thought of Stewart Manor. My in laws had also gotten married there 32 years ago and we had been to events here prior. John immediately made us feel at ease when asking about options for our small wedding dinner especially after the stress out postponing our bigger wedding. We were able to rent a tent and have it on their lawn right behind the beautiful gazebo and landscape that they have. James is truly the most caring maitre d. He made sure we had everything we needed and was refilling our drinks before we even asked. He even came over with a tray of appetizers while we were taking pictures to make sure we ate and to give us a break. My guests are still raving about the service and especially the food. Everything was exactly how we wanted our mini wedding to be and we could not have been happier with Stewart Manor.

We just had our wedding at the Stewart Manor Country Club and could not be happier with our experience. James executed every detail we wanted and the venue was everything we dreamed for our wedding.  The food from both cocktail hour and dinner was delicious and guests are still commenting on the wonderful experience of the venue.  James listened and worked with us to execute our vision and to make our wedding unique and memorable. For example, we wanted to have a Philadelphia cheese-steak station during cocktail hour, which is not on the menu. James was very excited to make this happen and it was a huge hit among guests (and delicious).  James and Theresa, as well the rest of the staff, ensured we had everything we needed throughout the evening and took away all the stress of such a big day.  Leading up to the big day, and from the moment we walked in the door of our reception to when we left after the party was over, we felt so comfortable and in good hands.  The cozy feel of the Stewart Manor Country Club was perfect for us, as we were looking for something different from the "wedding factory" feel of many venues in the area.  We were the only event at the venue and the space felt like it was truly our own.

We recently had our wedding here on 7.20.2019 and it truly was the best day ever. Everything ran smoothly and felt effortless thanks to their amazing staff. Big shout out to James who is absolutely incredible. The food was exceptional. They had just redone the cocktail room and lounge area which was so beautiful and bright. I hope to host another event here in the future!

I would give this place more stars if I could. The venue was beautifully decorated, the food was incredible, and James and his team were phenomenal. From the beginning, James and his team were always approachable, responsive, and so helpful throughout the planning process. We wanted to do a brunch wedding and James allowed us to come up with our own menu, which everyone was raving about. On the day of the wedding, he was present and was consistently checking in with us to make sure my husband and I were happy with everything. He knew exactly what to do and helped everything run smoothly. My wedding day was a dream come true thanks to him, his team, and this incredible venue. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding or party.

I had the wedding of my dreams at Stewart Manor Country Club in May 2018. Planning could not have been easier---James and Tricia were responsive and beyond accommodating. Their expertise is unparalleled and were able to advise us on every question and detail. Everything was flawless the day of---every meal, dance, and speech was on time. The food was extraordinary (our guests keep telling us). The icing on the cake: James is literally an angel sent from heaven. He bustled my dress just before my first dance, taught us how to everything properly (bridal party intros; cake cutting), set out our favors perfectly, and he was never far from my side in case I needed anything. I cannot recommend this venue and team highly enough. It was a perfect day.

We used Stewart manor country club for our 6/24/17 wedding. We had a fantastic experience! The food was amazing, and better yet the staff, especially James, went out of their way to make sure our day was special, memorable, and kept is at ease.

My wedding was September 20, 2014. Had a great time and I wish I could go back. Great place especially for the theme (fall theme). The food was fantastic along with the service minus the bartender at the reception/ cocktail hour (he was kind of a jerk and rude). But other then that very accommodating especially for a disabled bride especially at $75 +tax per person with open bar included. I definitely would do everything all over again and with this venue 😊

I cannot say enough good things abut my experience with June and Stewart manor. Leading up the day of the wedding she was pleasant and responsive to all concerns and questions. The day of the wedding everything came out great. She worked very hard to ensure that all our requests down to the smallest details were honored. Guests are still raving about the food!!!

I’m not what you consider a typical Long Island bride. When on the search for a venue, I was not wooed by waterfalls, gardens, crystal chandeliers, and dramatic staircases. All I wanted was a cozy, intimate, rustic place that would invoke the spirit of my Thanksgiving wedding...AND accommodate my 150 guests. It’s disappointing how hard-to-come-by these are around here, but thankfully, there was SMCC. From the two fireplaces to the pub-like bar to the cathedral wooden-beamed ceilings to the overall Holiday Inn-like ambiance (I half-expected Fred Astaire to come dancing out at any minute), SMCC was our vision realized, the heart of our wedding day. It was beautiful without ever approaching gaudy. We wanted everyone to feel like they were invited to another Thanksgiving dinner in a much-larger home, and that desire was fulfilled. Our guests commented ceaselessly throughout the night how comfortable they were, how incredible the food was (I can attest to that—I made sure I ate!), and how the drinks were flowing. Our recommended signature drink, a pumpkin pie martini, was absolutely delicious—and they were able to procure Octoberfest as one of our beers. James, June, and the rest of the staff were simply outstanding. Everything ran smoothly and impeccably. My husband and I were well-attended to all night, and if it wasn’t for James, my bustle would’ve never come out right (he’s a master!). They decorated the venue beautifully for Christmas at our request. The transition from cocktail hour to dinner (which had me slightly nervous, as both took place in the ballroom) was seamless, and my husband and I were granted a moment in there alone with the photographer as we asked (and “White Christmas” was playing—could not have been more ideal!). I wish I could go back and relive that reception. It was perfection. Brides seeking something other than overdone, garish grandeur that’s far too abundant on Long Island, please pay a visit to SMCC. You’ll find yourself booking in no time.

I was very unsure when I first went to the tasting at Stewart Manor. They are all very very nice there, the room is beautiful - very homey feel in a residential neighborhood which is what we wanted. The food was so so good. I was also not sure if I should stick with the cake that came with the menu - but I am so glad we did because it was very very good. The price was reasonable compared to any other NY/LI reception halls.

I loved this venue from the moment I saw it. There is only one event at a time. The venue is spacious yet romantic and intimate. The pre-function area includes a real bar with seating, not those little portable stations you see in most places. All of my guests loved this place and commented on how cozy, romantic and beautifully decorated it was. There is a lovely gazebo out front which was perfect for us to use for our wedding ceremony. The staff was very attentive and accomodating. I must give James, our Maitre'd special mention. If we though of something, James was right there to handle it, almost before we could ask. Water, drinks, a tablecloth to cover the bench so we could sit during the outside pictures, anything we asked, James was there. The catering was included in our package
