/planning process super easy. Lisa made sure to help make for a perfect day. John made sure my husband and I ate during cocktail hour. Even set up a plate and table for us. James went above and beyond one of my vendors thought I knew him personally. After planning our wedding I feel as tho I have known the staff for years. Can not recommend stewart manor enough.

eception would be here no question! Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the grounds were beautiful for our outdoor cocktail hour and the food was 10/10. John, Lisa and James were all a pleasure to work with. They were extremely communicative and answered all of my many questions clearly and quickly! Not only was the planning process completely stress free with SMCC, but the day of could not have gone better. Huge shoutout to James- he is incredible at his job and made our day perfect. He not only planned out the details of our reception, but he was beyond attentive the night of. The night would not have been as smooth without his attention to detail!! We still talk about how amazing he was to this day! We are beyond thankful for the wonderful staff at SMCC for making our day so perfect. I recommend SMCC for any event and will definitely be back for future events of my own!

reception. From the fairy lights outside and the lit up gazebo, to the lights in the reception space it fit everything I was looking for. We wanted it to feel like home. Cozy, a bit rustic, but have that safe warm feeling as well. The entire team gave us the most amazing day possible. We cannot thank them enough for all they did for us. It really does just feel like they are hosting your wedding alone. One wedding a day is exactly what we needed and wanted for our day. SMCC is top tier for allergies! I have severe allergies, and some of our guests did as well. They kept us all safe, full, and happy!! Food was amazing! When thinking of my future wedding as a young girl, I always knew I wanted pizza and wings. Luckily during cocktail hour an option was this! My husbands family is big on nathans, and when we saw they offered a coney island station and pizza and wings, we knew we had to check this place out. The fireplaces were amazing to have as it rained our wedding day, kept us warm! James went above and beyond for us, our families, and our guests. We still get compliments on them almost a month later. From the second we dropped off our things before our wedding we knew we would be in good hands. James took care of everything! If you have not checked out them, we highly suggest you do. It just may be your dream venue too! Thank you to the entire staff for still having us on cloud nine looking back at our day!!

t Manor Country Club, we fell short of our expectations… in the absolute best way possible! What you CAN expect at Stewart Manor is to be welcomed like you’re family. The owner, John Parks, treats you as if you are guests at his home, acting as the ultimate host and wearing every hat possible to ensure that the only thing you’re wearing are your smiles. James, the Maitre D for the bride and groom, had everyone and everything under control the entire day (and days before and after the wedding), at no extra charge. Lisa helped coordinate on-site visits and was great at communicating expectations, cost, and organizing the day. Nestled in the heart of a quaint residential neighborhood, Stewart Manor Country Club felt like the perfect balance of a golf and country club venue and a homey backyard wedding. James and John ensured the day ran smoothly while making our families and guests feel at home. The food was wonderful! All of the feedback from our guests included how unique and delicious the cocktail hour and dinner was. Our food tasting felt personal and intimate and every meeting we had with the team and/or venue was efficient and stress-free. We had such a wonderful time at our own wedding that we hope to be guests at Stewart Manor Country Club for an event soon! We could not recommend this team and space more for your event :)

riendly staff. We were treated like family from the very beginning and were even made cocktails while we waited to tour! John, James, Lisa and Daniella are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Our wedding turned out so beautiful and I can’t thank them enough for everything they did to help our wedding come together. A very special shoutout to James the Maitre’d!! He is an absolute angel and perfectly executed my vision for what our wedding would look like! He went above and beyond learning all our family members and bridal parties names, bustling my dress and taking my veil out, helping my sister change out of her heels. He even came to the rescue when I realized last minute that I had no flower girl basket and he brought out a couple flower girl basket options he had stored away and went as far as plucking the petals of a bouquet of roses one by one so my niece had flowers to throw down the aisle. Our family and friends raved about how amazing the food was and how amazing the service was from everyone down to the waite staff, they were super attentive constantly asking if anyone needed anything. We could not have asked for a better day! We HIGHLY recommend having your next event at Stewart Manor Country Club you will not regret it and we will definitely be having future events here!

so we knew we would be in good hands, but even the amazing reviews don’t do justice to the first-hand experience of the kindness and helpfulness of everyone we worked with, and the palpable spirit of everyone wanting to make your day incredibly special. We had about 160 guests, the ballroom worked well for that number and it never felt overcrowded. The setting is beautifully landscaped, charming, and classically elegant, so unlike many of the gaudy reception halls scattered around Long Island. The food was fantastic, we have guests a year later that are still raving about it. From cocktail hour, to the multi-course dinner, and the dessert bar, there was so much food and all was incredibly delicious. If you are considering booking with SMCC, I can assure you that you will have an amazing day!

s is that a wedding with more than 100 people in this space might feel a little tight. I also want to give a special a special shout out to James, the maitre'd there. I got a migraine about half way through the reception and took myself to a small quiet hallway to try and settle it down. When he found out about my migraine, he immediately lowered the lights, got me some Advil and water, and insisted I let him know if I need anything else. The fact that he took time for that amongst the 5,000 things he needed to do that night was incredibly thoughtful!! If you're having a small-medium wedding in the tri state area, this is a great reception venue!

Lisa, Jon, and James made the day of and all the details and planning easy - despite the hectic nature of a wedding. Honestly I could write a whole review about James himself and how amazing, attentive, and kind he was. (Seriously just get married here for James alone! My one bridesmaid even tried to hire him for her wedding!) The food (and food tasting) was incredible, the fireplace was on for the ceremony (raining out) - which made the ceremony extra special and cozy. ing. John, Lisa, and James (and Dani!) are absolutely amazing at what they do. Not only do they have the ability to execute any ideas that you may have, they have a wealth of knowledge (and seemingly endless warehouse of decorations) that they are more than happy to share to make your wedding day absolutely perfect. Leading up to our wedding, we gave James our general design plan and supplied decorations that we thought fit the theme (winter library), but otherwise gave little specific guidance on how to set up ceremony space or the various spaces within the venue (since we had neither the energy nor artistic eye to plan out those details). What James was able to put together for us was absolutely stunning and better than anything we could have imagined. In fact, we have had multiple guests describe the ambiance James was able to create for us as “stunning” and “magical.” On the day of our wedding, my husband and I wanted for nothing. Indeed, without ever having to ask for anything, the team at SMCC anticipated our every need. James, in particular, had everything we never knew we needed within arms reach (including, among other things, fashion tape, a scrunchy, and bobby pins, all of which James kept stored in his fashion-forward utility vest), and did everything he possibly could (including holding the train of my dress outside in the rain while we were outside smoking) to ensure my husband and I were as comfortable as possible. We’ve heard from many guests that their experience with SMCC’s team was no less amazing. Our guests all raved about the food, particularly the filet mignon and chicken francaise, and marveled at the table service for bar drinks (which seems all but unheard of these days). My husband happened to be partial to the spinach ravioli alfredo served with dinner, and I loved the mac & cheese included in the BBQ station and the buffalo chicken pizza from the pizza station. When my husband and I were choosing between wedding venues, many venues we looked at seemed to be nothing more than wedding factories. Almost every venue we visited or contacted focused their sales pitch on one thing: what services they could sell us from their catalogue of cookie-cutter wedding options. SMCC was different. In fact, after a long day of visiting venues, we realized that Lisa of SMCC was the only person we had met at any venue who bothered to ask my husband and I about our relationship and our interests—e.g., how we met, how my husband had proposed, what we did for a living, what we did for fun, and what we were looking for in a wedding venue. It was this human touch that made SMCC stand out among the sea of venue options. And it is this human touch that I believe makes the team at SMCC excel at what they do. Simply put, the SMCC team cares, which makes all the difference. We highly recommend anyone looking for an intimate, personalized wedding with a human touch to check out SMCC! We guarantee you will not be disappointed.

John the owner could not do enough for us. He assisted throughout the evening, making us and all of our guests feel so welcome. James made the process for our daughter and ourselves a pleasure, was attentive and available checking in frequently throughout the evening, and engaging in lighthearted fun with all the guests. We couldn’t have been happier from start to finish and would highly recommend the Stewart Manor Country Club for your big day.

The food at Stewart Manor was excellent in taste, quantity, and variety (everybody complimented a different menu item!). The venue is very tasteful and looked amazing both inside and outside on the gorgeous lawn. Overall, we do not have enough good things to say about our wedding at Stewart Manor, and we would recommend that anyone looking to have a beautiful Long Island wedding book here.

Manor Country Club. Lisa, James and John are not only incessantly helpful, they make you feel like family and that they are throwing a wedding for one of their own. Up until the day, we must have called Lisa 900 times and she never got sick of us. From our first of the 900 calls to our last appointment for decor drop off, she made a nervous bride feel at ease. If you know me, that is not an easy task. She was our point person until the day of our wedding and crucial to making it the magical day it was. Fast forward to wedding day. Every last detail was impeccable - from when I got there with grass stains on my dress and James tide penned it out to when I stayed at least a half an hour past our time with not one mention of it from the staff. My outdoor ceremony was breathtaking because they keep the grounds absolutely perfect. During cocktail hour, John watched as we happily greeted all of our guests but also was kind enough to make us heaping plates of all the food we had to offer our guests. Because of his attention and care we got to enjoy our cocktail hour to the utmost, which every bride knows is nearly impossible. The food itself is phenomenal - everything - but I’d die for their ravioli Alfredo. James is a mixology wizard and due to his creativity we had 2 signature drinks that our guests have not stopped talking about (mine was a margarita that changed colors)! We added as many personal touches as we could throughout the wedding. We had a unique seating chart that James had to set up without our input, signs candles frames lights flowers the whole shebang. Every single piece of decor was arranged exactly as I had envisioned in each space, with care and an artful eye. The reception space is gorgeous and while it fits 150+ people, every second felt wonderfully intimate. The way it is set up allowed me to see and dance with all of my guests. The waitstaff took such excellent care of my guests and I was not in need for even one second. John James and Sandy made sure I always had a drink in my hand and food on my plate, and my husband even got a second filet mignon. He even went to refuse it, and was reminded that he was the man of the hour and could have anything he wanted. The staff treats you exactly how you want to be treated on your wedding day. Without going into detail, I had a bit of family drama unfold and James saved the day with that as well. You are just in the best hands and the best company with SMCC. There are too many good things to say. I will be forever grateful for the incredible day and night these guys gave us. We will miss them, but we’ll see them for our baby shower and anniversary and any other excuse we have!!

know this place was where we wanted to get married. It was clear that they take a very personal approach to couples and will go above and beyond to help you create your dream wedding. We literally both left in tears, because we knew we found the venue that felt like home to us both. This only became more true throughout the planning process and on the day of. Our tasting was phenomenal, and getting to bring our parents made it so much more special (they even packed stuff up for my dad who was home with COVID). The day we dropped everything off James made me feel so comfortable and excited. I trusted him completely, and for good reason. He seriously knows what he is doing, and will make sure your day is perfect. The day of our wedding, I swear he knew I needed a glass of water before my brain could even recognize I was thirsty and appeared with my sneakers the second my feet had had enough of my heels. Just another example of how this venue goes above and beyond for their brides. My table numbers did not fit into the wooden stands that they came with, which John told me during cocktail hour because I had never thought to even check. I was so happy and so in love with the day already that I said I was totally fine with whatever they put out, and I meant it. When we walked into the reception hall, all of my table numbers were out. They shaved down the slot in the wooden stands of each one during the cocktail hour to make my vision come to life. Truly unbelievable and so so special! From start to finish our day was perfect, and so much of that is thanks to everyone at SMCC!

If it wasn’t for him I surely wouldn’t have eaten until dinner. James, OMG I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful he is to have by your side on your wedding day!!! He was by my side all day if I needed ANYTHING. HE EVEN BUSTLED MY DRESS FOR ME and repaired it with safety pins when I had a wardrobe malfunction. He is simply the BEST!! The food was sooooo delicious and plentiful. Best food I have ever had at a wedding (not just because it was my own). The venue itself is gorgeous and I LOVE that you are not sharing the venue with anyone else. Seriously, I could not be happier with the service we had on our wedding day. This is a very special place with some VERY special people working there. Thank you everyone at Stewart manor for all that you did for us. We are so grateful to have booked our wedding here!!!!!

had never been to a wedding here before, but visited just because of the reviews I was seeing online. After meeting with John and James I left there knowing I needed to book with them. Their professionalism and kindness are unmatched, especially in the wedding industry where I've heard of plenty of nightmare stories. From the second I met them to picking up my wedding items the day after, I couldn't have been more sure that I was in the best hands with John and James. They truly made the whole day go off without a hitch. James also deserves his own review, and is just the most amazing maître d. I know every other review says how much they want to be friends with him and bring him home forever and they are all completely right, even months after my wedding we are all still saying the same thing. I've never met someone who is as good at what they do as him. I truly just don't even have the right words to tell you how amazing James is. You can tell that he truly loves what he does and puts everything into it and in turn helps you have the best day ever. Everything was perfect and John was incredibly helpful in making that happen. Any ideas I had were answered with "we can make that happen". My wedding was the last weekend in October for which we ended up having perfect weather but John was on top of options for us way before we even knew the forecast. We had about 150 people and it didn't feel cramped at all. You can utilize the outdoor space all night (we had a cigar roller come) as well as the cocktail area throughout the night and it just makes for the perfect amount of space for people to split up. We were able to have cocktail tables outside for cocktail hour so we had our guests split up between the cocktail room and outside which was perfect, they provided heaters for the outdoor area. I also can't say enough about the food, it was absolutely amazing. I have been hearing from everyone since my wedding how amazing the food was, it really was amazing. Definitely some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding. I truly can't say enough about SMCC. You won't be disappointed in the slightest having your wedding here, you will be in the best hands.

The team was so flexible and accommodating, they gave me really great guidance on decorations, florals, DJ, and the order of events for the evening. Lisa was so helpful during the planning process, helping us with our menu and making sure we stayed on top of our timeline. James is hands down the BEST event manager I’ve ever encountered during an event! I met with him the week before to drop off my decorations and I was in AWE when I arrived and everything was set up exactly how we discussed and even better than I could have imagined. The food was SO GOOD, my guests were raving about everything from the cocktail hour, to the dinner, to the dessert spread. We are so thankful for the entire team, John, Lisa, James and the fantastic service staff at Stewart Manor Country Club and will truly never forget the amazing night they hosted for us ❤️ 20/10 recommend for any type of event (shower, engagement party, wedding, etc.)

Our wedding day happened to be on the coldest day of the year, and John and James pulled out all the stops to help us move our wedding portraits inside, in front of the beautiful fire place and mantle. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The food was delicious, my guests are still raving about the filet mignon. And there was never a line at the bar. The service was truly phenomenal. James helped my groom and I to have a special moment listening to the band practice and enjoy each other's company before joining the cocktail hour. I would highly recommend Stewart Manor Country Club to anyone who wanted to get married in the area! 5 Stars for sure!

We visited several venues but when we met with James at SMCC we fell in love with it immediately. It lived up to every expectation and more! James had an incredible energy and positive attitude and made us feel so special on our day. John made sure that we ate food at cocktail hour and at the reception. James and John were so attentive to us and our parents making sure we had drinks and were comfortable throughout the day. The day went so smoothly and organized due to James.
