Hi! I'm Becca with Stir Photography (based in Jackson, WY, but ready to travel anywhere!), and the core mission of my work as a photographer is to honor and celebrate down-to-earth people during some of their most memorable and meaningful adventures.
Your story and your experience are important! I want to get to know you and your needs, dreams, and expectations for your wedding day. My photography focuses on honest emotion, and I do what I can to accurately reflect the heart and soul of the people I'm working with. That being said, I do a mix of posed and candid shots- my approach isn't gonna leave you out in the cold!
The weddings I shoot vary in venue, guest list, and style - whether it's a big party bringing people together from every era of your lives, a low-key intimate ceremony, or a just-us elopement in the wilderness, the common thread my favorite weddings share is that they revolve around a couple whose love and commitment to each other is worth celebrating.
I'm a big outdoor adventure enthusiast (trail running, hiking, camping, canoeing, rafting, climbing) - when I'm not shooting weddings, I'm running around in the mountains out here. I'm familiar with areas in Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding forests, and happy to give y'all location ideas for our photos, as well as recommendations for stuff to do in the area.
One of my priorities in this work is giving back to the community I work in. For local Wyoming/Idaho weddings, I donate 4% of the cost of my services to One22, a Jackson nonprofit that supplies food, financial aid, and cultural resources to Teton community members in need.

I'm Becca- I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and besides being a photographer for most of my life, I've held a variety of jobs including being a botany ranger and firefighter for the US Forest Service.
I play guitar, paint with acrylics, cook a lot, and love to write. I really enjoy camping, climbing, rafting, canoeing, travel, hiking, running, yoga, cross-country skiing, ballroom dancing, roadtrips, and people.
When I'm not having adventures or seeing friends, I'm hanging out with my wonderful parents, siblings, and two nephews.

was great so we can chat about the details of the day and the moments we wanted to capture. We stepped out for golden hour/sunset photos that were very special and I loved how she directed us on how to pose - all of it felt very natural. We also had fireworks and sparklers later in the night, which I think was new for her to capture, but she came prepared and got some great shots!
We had a lot of fun with her and were just blown away by her photos! If I could do the day over again, I'd still have her by our side capturing it all!

de herself available to us leading up to the wedding with questions and helping us with rounding up other vendors/plans in the area. She also made herself available to us for as long as we needed the day of the wedding. She was genuinely interested in getting to know us and really captured our style as a couple and as a group. She became part of our family that day and her photos are AMAZING! She took so many photos throughout the day, not even knowing she was capturing those moments. And when we got the photos, looking at them put us right back there on the day and evoked so much emotion for us. We laughed and cried when looking at them. We looked at a handful of other photographers in the area, but their photos don't hold a candle to Becca's work. She's an amazing person and an even better photographer!

impressive was how she invested in chatting with our guests in order to capture their genuine personalities in her photos. Everyone felt so comfortable around her- which makes for amazing photos.
