What an amazing company! My husband and I have so many great things to say about these folks and all that they did for our wedding. Sarah and Cynthia were wonderful to work with—incredibly professional and able to come up with a delicious menu that met our budget perfectly. The day-of their whole staff was terrific. Our VIP server took great care of us and EVERYTHING tasted amazing! Not only did they do the food for our reception, but they also put out a great spread for brunch the following morning. Highly recommend them!

My husband and I got married in Maine in August, but live in Washington DC so we had to do lots of planning through emails, phone calls, etc. Stone Cove Catering served as our catering and wedding coordinator and they were honestly nothing short of amazing. Leslie was our main point of contact and was incredibly responsive, organized, and super easy to work with. She did a fantastic job of juggling tons of different vendors for my wedding and making sure that all the details were taken care of. It was a huge load off of our shoulders to not have to worry about things getting done because we knew she was on top of it. My mother had some particular requests the day of, which Leslie gladly accommodated with a big smile on her face. The food was very well received by all our guests (and we had some picky eaters) and Stone Cove did a great job doing all the wedding decoration set up. I wanted a simple, but elegant wedding and they turned that from a dream into a reality for me. Big kudos to Leslie and the team at Stone Cove for a job well done! I'm so glad that we worked with them on our wedding and would strongly recommend them to anyone doing their wedding in Maine!!!

We definitely made the right choice when we chose Stone Cove to be our wedding catering service. The food was absolutely top notch, which was important for us since we are foodies! Our main dish was apple cider glazed chicken on a bed of apples and leeks, and the chicken was so tender and flavorful. Each of the fall-themed salads, soups, and sides were mouthwatering, and they were happy to work with us to include a special recipe that reflected my husband's heritage as well. Our guests are still telling us how much they loved the food! We also love that Stone Cove works to locally source as much of their food as possible. Driving to our tasting, we saw the farm where they get their produce and it's just a few miles down the road from the 1812 Farm. Now that's local! :) In addition, the quality of service from the folks at Stone Cove is excellent. From the get-go they were so easy to work with: they helped us easily put together a menu that matched our fall theme, they were patient, flexible, and helpful as we worked to finalize the menu to fit within our budget, they were very quick to respond to every question we had, and they worked seamlessly with our venue. In the final planning stages, they left no stone unturned (either with us or our venue coordinator!) and really helped us feel confident that the day would go off without a hitch - which it did! On a final sidenote: we got married at A Barn in Dayton, which is 1.5 hours away, so we were initially hesitant to reach out to Stone Cove because we weren't sure if they'd travel that far. Do not let that worry you one bit! They absolutely were willing to travel. We are SO glad we chose them. They truly provide amazing food, are wonderful to work with, and are worth every penny!

We are beyond thrilled with our choice to have Stone Cove cater our wedding! Coming from New York, we were very concerned with having delicious food, and they knocked it out of the park. I couldn't choose a favorite between the chicken and waffle skewers, the bacon wrapped scallops, the oysters the size of my head, the orzo, the mouthwatering steak... Leslie was our coordinator, and she was so incredibly nice, easy to work with, and on top of everything (and patient with my endless questions/changes about rental items and other things). On the day of the wedding, it seemed that every time we turned around, Leslie and her team were handling things for us and just generally going above and beyond--bringing water for our dog, rescuing a couple of our guests from ticks (!), unwrapping and distributing sparklers, etc. Also, Sadie the Bar Car was a HUGE hit with our guests. And shout out to Luke, who appeared throughout the night (seemingly in a puff of smoke) with a smile and an appetizer or a drink, so we could focus on having fun with our guests and not missing a thing. Can't recommend Stone Cove highly enough!

I'm so pleased to give Stone Cove Catering a glowing review—my husband and I had a great experience. Here's why: - Leslie is on top of it—from planning to day-of execution. She is responsive, organized, and friendly. There was a lot we didn't know (rentals, insurance, etc.), and she was a trustworthy and patient resource. She worked within our budget to get us the menu, room setup, and service we wanted, and she never pressured us to exceed what we wanted to spend. Leslie really went out of her way to make things as easy as possible for us—both while planning and the day of. She acted as day of coordinator, and even wrangled in our troublesome DJ. She is a rock star. - The food is fantastic. There are so many paths you can take. We had several conversations with Leslie about the vibe and location of our wedding, as well as our personal favorites. The tasting was so much fun—served at the Farm with the dinnerware we ordered and discussed so we could customize. The food that day was the same as at our wedding. That means a lot—I know many brides and grooms who were later disappointed because what they had at their tasting (cooked to order from the head chef) didn't taste like what they got at their wedding (large scale, prepped in advanced, cooked by a team of people). We met the chef at the Farm, everything was delicious, and they tailored it to our event and preferences. Definitely recommend the Cane and Balsamic Flank Steak with Mushroom Sauce, Roasted Cauliflower with Hazelnut and Dried Maine Blueberries (!!!), and Local Honey & Artichoke in Phyllo Cups. Stone Cove was so sweet, they gave us a card at the end with our favorite recipe (the roasted cauliflower). - The service was fantastic. They were on time, walked through how we wanted everything set up, let us check-in after room setup, and were cleaned up and out of there on time. We also had a dedicated server who brought hors d'oerves and drinks out to us while we were taking photos. The bartenders were friendly, and there was never a shortage of or wait for bevvies. - There were a lot of little touches after the wedding that made us feel like part of the family. A post-wedding card, Instagram photos, and even a holiday card. They put their heart into their work and pull you into their community. I 100% recommend Stone Cove Catering and hope to work with them again for parties in the future!

Stone Cove Catering was part of the package when I chose The 1812 Farm as my wedding venue, and I couldn't have been more excited. All of the food was incredible. They were very open to our likes and dislikes, and built a weekend of food around us. We had everything from a wing bar at the rehearsal/welcome dinner, to a s'mores bar at the wedding. They had MANY options for all of our gluten free guests. The presentation was beautiful, and I loved that they made sure that my new hubby and I got a quick little sample plate of all of the apps after the ceremony, before we headed off for pictures. I would have been sad if I had missed all of the bacon wrapped scallops! The dinner was even better. Everyone says the bride and groom never get to eat at their wedding, but the staff here made sure that wasn't the case. My favorite are their crab cakes! Thanks for taking care of us.

Stone Cove Catered my wedding in Maine and I can't say enough good things. Sarah did so much to make sure everything went smooth and moved along with our wedding. She is amazing and goes above and beyond. The food was incredible!! I kept having guests come up to me commenting on how delicious the appetizers, dinner, and desserts were....so yummy! All of the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. I can't say enough good things about Stone Cove. I highly recommend Stone Cove for any event.

I would like to start by saying Stone Cove Catering was the best hire I have ever made. I currently live in Chicago and we were having our wedding in my home state of Maine. I initially contacted Stone Cove on a Sunday evening. I got a call back from Sarah the next day. Sarah was easy and fun to work with. She helped ease my mind with everything. It's so hard planning a wedding when you can't be where you are having it. After meeting with Sarah we had the details ironed out and we were all set. On the day of the wedding, she worked with my DJ and the key players that were at the venue when I was not. Everything went perfect. Our lobster bake was AWESOME! The wait staff and bartenders were friendly, nice and very hard working. Everyone says something goes wrong. Not at our wedding. It was perfect, Sarah truly did more than just catering, she helped with planning of the day. I can not express how happy I am that I was able to have such a wonderful experienced staff at our wedding. Again, I could not be happier!

For our wedding reception, we wanted to make sure the food was amazing and there was plenty of it. We had never hired a catering company before and to our utmost satisfaction, Stone Cove Catering was above and beyond everything we had hoped for! Sarah is professional, prompt, knowledgeable and knows how to put on an amazing reception. When we wanted decided to have a family style meal, Sarah worked with us on menu choices that would satisfy our foodie needs, but still accommodate our budget. Sarah met with us multiple times to go over timing and help us to coordinate all the vendors. Many of our friends told us that our reception was one of the best they'd been to and that they have never had such amazing food at a wedding! Sarah and her team made sure we were always taken care of and that we enjoyed our day to the fullest! Stone Cove Catering would be our first choice for any catering needs we might have in the future! Sarah and her team catering our waterfront wedding in tenants harbor, Maine and we could not be happier with how things turned out. Not only was the food amazing, so much so that all of our guests gave unsolicited compliments, but Sarah helped to walk us through every step of the whole process. When we had concerns about the financial side of things, she helped us find ways to cut costs. When we had questions about family style versus buffet, she helped us weigh the pros and cons. When we didn't know how to cut the cake, she helped us through that too. Sarah and stone cove catering are the definition of professional and I cannot recommend their catering service highly enough. Sarah was wonderful to work with. She was on top of everything. Sarah caterer our rehearsal dinner (lobster bake) and then took on our wedding day. We had many compliments that dinner was the best wedding food they'd had in years. She made pies for our dessert instead of cake and it was delicious. Sarah and her crew were amazing, organized and flexible to our changing schedule. Amazing service. We would certainly hire her again if we have the chance!

Stone Cove catered my recent wedding reception. I have to say that Sarah's work was beyond anything I could have hoped for. Not only did they provide delicious food, but Sarah also coordinated all of the rentals for my outdoor reception including a huge tent, tables, chairs, lighting, you name it. She always responded to my emails promptly and was extremely professional, organized, and reliable. I did not have worry about anything on the actual day. Even when my guest numbers changed at the last minute, Sarah handled it gracefully. Her staff was also professional and everyone raved about the bartender. I would highly HIGHLY recommend Sarah and Stone Cove catering for any event.
