Our planner, Taylor Odom is through the venue and she was such an amazing person to have through the planning process. We even got a day-of coordinator, Cassidy Kaess, through the venue and she was so sweet and helpful for the rehearsal through the end of the reception. The next day, she even sent me some phone images/videos that she took throughout the day and it was SUCH a wonderful surprise and so cherished to be able to have them to look at the next day!

The venue itself is beautiful and doesn’t need much decoration with a beautiful rustic feel. A couple of things that I felt were a little strange was how our wedding planner changed twice and this brought on a lot of misinformation. Although this was a little back and forth my experience was still good. Day of the wedding I was expecting to see our wedding planner Taylor but she was not there, we only had Peyton our day of coordinator. Our main concern was when our wedding party came back from walking down the aisle no one was direct on what to do next and all of the other guest were allowed to come in the venue after the wedding party so my husband and I were bombarded by all our guests which delayed our picture time. During cocktail hour we were informed that appetizers had ran out and not all guest received any. My husband and I received the last of the appetizers and by the time we got them they had been sitting out for a while. When dinner was announced our DJ released a couple tables to go to the buffet line at this point 4 of our tables already had food, my husband and I had not been served our food yet. My husband had to go find our wedding coordinator and ask who was serving us. The placement of the buffet line was also not the best, it was right next to the sweetheart table so we got consistently stopped from eating that we barely got to eat our food. I was told by a couple of guest that the bartender was incredibly rude and was also wearing an AirPod through the wedding. My husband told me he had gone up to the bar before last call was announced (which by the way last call was not announced )and when he asked for a beer and a vodka sprite the bartender told him “I’m not making anymore drinks, I have to go home too.” there was another bartender who covered for him during a break and I was told he was great. I think a second photographer would have also been a good idea, I felt like we were pressed for time since our photographer had to go back and forth between the bridal parties. Overall our guest really enjoyed themselves, they loved the food, the drinks and the vibe of the night. Our wedding coordinator Peyton was great, she really did handle a lot on her own and kept a smile on her face the whole time. My husband mentioned she helped the groomsmen with their boutonnières and every time we had a question or request she was super professional. I felt for her because she was pretty much on her own handling everything so I think it would have been nice for our wedding planner to be there too to help her out.

I firmly believe without her and Cassidy to help us on our special day I probably would have had an anxiety attack( a few times)!! 😂 Mia made my whole family feel so comfortable, we forgot we hadn’t known her for years, she felt like one of our own! If anyone is considering having their wedding at The Stonehaven I would recommend it a million times over solely because of the wonderful experience we had, thanks to Mia, Cassidy and everyone else that contributed! daughter’s wedding - she didn’t miss a beat! She was absolutely spectacular! Patient and thoughtful, she offered so many insights and suggestions along the way that laid the groundwork for a Beautiful stress free wedding day! She steered us toward the right vendors, and made every decision easy. Everyone in attendance was complimentary of the venue, food, cake, bar, DJ, and table settings! Taylor helped to make dreams come true! Such a blessing!

Coordinator Noel went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. She was attentive, responsive, and truly made the planning process a breeze. One thing we really appreciated was the venue's flexibility and accommodation during our special day. They were quick to address any issues or questions we had. The team even assisted us with the setup and takedown of our decor, which was a huge help and allowed us to fully enjoy the celebration. While there were a couple of minor aspects that could be improved upon (gravel parking lot made it difficult for guests with disabilities), overall, Stonehaven provided us with a wedding day that was nothing short of perfect. We are so grateful to the entire team for creating such a beautiful and memorable event for us. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing. I have never seen a team jump in to make a day perfect like they did. The venue was amazing, the food was outstanding, and all the guests kept saying it was beautiful. I would pick this place over and over again. I also love that they offer payment plans! If you’re wanting a stunning, memorable wedding then this is the place to be.

Jessica was our last minute wedding coordinator and she was amazing. Everyone she came in contact with loved her and raved about her to me and my husband. She was very attentive to us and our wedding party and was overall just amazing. She made our wedding day so wonderful!

n, was incredible and made our day so smooth. The food (we had the BBQ) and bar service through the venue was excellent. My only reservation about the experience was difficulty communicating with staff leading up to the event. I feel like I was pretty low maintenance, but the few times I tried to reach them it took 3-5 business days to get a response even in the 2-4 weeks before the wedding. Overall I think it’s a lovely venue if you’re looking for a hands-off, almost everything is included process! Just be aware there will not be much handholding.

With meetings that fit our busy schedule, emails, and phone calls. I really felt like I had a team that cared as much as we did about our wedding and how special I wanted to make it. Especially since most of my guest were traveling from another state. Everyone was professional and attentive. I literally had the wedding of my dreams! mostly all my guests have complimented me on how beautiful the venue was. And how excellent the food was. Look no further, you're in very good and capable hands here at the Milestone at Stonehaven. We are even thinking of having our a Quinceanera here, it was such a success!!!!

em and they made the actual wedding day a great experience. They get a 5 star rating. Things to note. The sales and on site coordinator prior to the wedding were not flexible on anything. This was a bit stressful. Make sure you know exactly what you do and do not want to include with the venue before you sign anything. It was all about making money and not providing customer care and flexibility. EVERYTHING has a cost involved including adding extra event hours, changing menu items, and extra fees (that you have already paid for) . You should be able to rent the entire facility for the entire day instead of blocks of time. There are no other weddings on the same day and the set up team is there early. Aniah and her team understood that and were gracious about time. When we toured the venue we asked specifically about how the grass and outside would look for a summer wedding. We were told that they had water irrigation and it would be green and beautiful. It was not. I understand we are in a drought but this was dead brown and some weeds in the creek and flower beds. The outside had not been maintained at all. Luckily all eyes were on the Bride and ceremony. It was disappointing from the beautiful pictures seen online and from what we were told. The wedding hall inside was gorgeous just as pictured. We elected to use the buffet style dinner from the venue caterer. The food and appetizers were good but the main dish was cold. These were just a few hiccups along the way to note. Aniah and her team again provided an amazing experience for the wedding day. All in all my daughter had a great day.

So I applied two years in a row and actually won my second time around. I was beyond happy that we won for the sole fact that weddings are expensive and I was going through school at the time and building a house at the time I won. Walters estates went above and beyond to make our wedding the best it could be. I actually had 2 different coordinators during my time with them, Jessica and Alex. Both were absolutely wonderful through out the entire process making my life so much easier. They were both very professional and kind and really care about their brides wants and needs. The communication was always easy to reach them. Every question was always answered. As for wedding day, it went so smooth with our day coordinator. She ensured we stayed on schedule. The food was amazing. We had the Texas BBQ and I got compliments on the food up to weeks after the wedding. The margarita bar was a hit and super fun and delicious for our guest. I can’t say any bad things about my experience with the milestone staff or the venue itself.

Our DJ Nicholas with Co-Host was very communicative even if we weren’t and the music was just how we wanted it, fun and got people to dance. We did the cryo guns and that was a fun way to open the dance floor! And lastly the food was delicious! We received many compliments from our guests on the Lone Star Buffet! It was a perfect, stress free day! Highly Recommend!

I've had so many family and friends tell me what a lovely day it was, it felt perfect, and I can honestly say a lot of it was because of the venue and its staff. Highly recommend!

The way that they were so readily available to help with absolutely any need to make sure the event went off without any issues was amazing!! Incredibly a joy to work with! Especially in such a difficult time in our lives. The venue was so beautiful on its own. We didn’t need much decor! The food was incredible! All of it!! The staff was so beyond friendly! I truly appreciated all the kindness and love they were showing to my mom as she did all of our flower arrangements, and honestly as long as my mom had a smile on her face I had even less of a reason to stress or struggle with the day. It was so much fun seeing people on the dance floor the whole night as well as some of the staff dancing with all the kids. Our wedding will definitely be a day/ night we will never forget thanks to everyone at The Milestone in New Braunfels.

Everything was so perfect my wife and I were not stressed at all on how everything was going to play out because everything was right on point and we had a time line on where everything was going to start. Staff was amazing super friendly, very welcoming , made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole process , we are truly thankful for everyone. Let me not forget our ceremony was so beautiful butterflies even started flying out as soon as I walked down the aisle we were all so amazed at how perfect it was it almost seemed like those butterflies were part of that wedding lol.
