elinquish control but from the first call, she had so many things figured out that I never would have thought of. She took charge and I didn't hear much until the day of. Like magic, not a missed beat. I was stressing like mad that something would not be lined up or correct but Sue and team were 20 steps ahead of each thing, had every vendor lined up, music and dances to a tee, photography planned out, it was amazing to watch. I simply cannot think Sue enough. Her team has an in-depth intake process that allowed them to truly be in the know of everything and had worked so hard behind the scenes without me knowing. Their hard work was evident on the wedding day. Everything was not only to my standard, but 10 steps above. We had a vision of how we wanted the day to be, and through her years of experience, Sue took that and blew it out of the water. For her expertise and work, Sue is extremely fair in pricing as well. We would reccomend Sue to anyone in the DFW area. Thank you again!!!

or full service, so she helped me find all my vendors. I only looked at 3 venues with her, and I knew the minute I saw my venue that it was "the one". All my vendors were great to work with. Easy, efficient and great at their job. Sue has some great contacts in town. The day of the wedding it was a dream. Sue also made sure that me and my husband had some special time together. She served us our dinner that we provided for our guests, but it was just the two of us in a room by ourselves. It was such a special magical day thanks to Sue.

o vendors, ideas, decor, etc. I made it clear I did not want a best friend. Sue delivered on almost everything! She helped us pick out a majority of our wedding vendors and organization of the wedding. She was very considerate with our family dynamics. A complaint I had was she always called me the wrong name- even on our contract she would put my name wrong. I also noticed she would not answer any of my now husband's questions or contact him back when he reached out to her which happened at least 3 times. She really did not reach out to us until the time crunch of 3 months out to the wedding. I felt that from the time we hired her, around August 2021, to July 2022, we had maybe one or two conversations. I felt we were on the back burner and I had to think of things like table decorations on my own without her help. Overall, I feel she did a good job in directing our wedding flow and helping us find good vendors, but lacked in meeting the smaller details ahead of time. I think Sue is very knowledgeable, helpful and can be a great addition to your wedding team. I'd give 4.5 stars if able, but since it's only 4 or 5 solid stars, I'm going with 4.

For a year prior to the wedding, your mom and I fine-tuned all the details, so that your wedding day went off without a hitch. I really enjoyed your mom, Denise. I do apologize for calling you Laura, and not Lauren. I had a Laura as a bride during the same time, and this was very embarrassing for me. Our primary reason for hiring a day of coordinator was to take stress off of us (bride and groom), and we were asked several questions day of that we had discussed with her before the wedding. There also was a lack of understanding of technology that the venue had, which should have been simple (ie, Bluetooth and Spotify).
At the end of it all, we are glad that Sue was there and glad that we had a day of coordinator.

that they always dreamed of. I am very sorry it did not turn out like you had planned. This is the first negative review I have ever received. I have never been asked to play music before during a wedding ceremony. I was asked to play "DJ". But in the middle of a pandemic, I tried to go above and beyond our couples expectations. So I agreed to play your ceremony music from an iPhone your bridesmaid had, and utilizing the venue’s sound system. I should not have agreed to do this, as of course, we had a problem with the music. I had tested the phone several times before the ceremony, and it worked just fine. When we started the wedding party down the aisle, the playlist played the song. But when it came to change the song for you, the bride, to walk down the aisle, the phone did not work. I went back inside the building and tried to get the phone to work, but to no avail. I then handed you the phone, saying it was not working. While you were standing there with your dad, you also tried to get the phone to work. But again, to no avail. You tried for about 2-3 minutes to make the phone work, but the Bluetooth simply was not pairing with the system. I’m so sorry about this. It was awful that you had to walk down the aisle to no music, and we felt terrible. Regarding us not following instructions for the ceremony, we are not really sure what you are referring to. You and I spent two hours together prior to the wedding, doing your timeline, and you checked off that everything was in order regarding the timeline. We followed the timeline to a tee, and kept you on schedule almost to the minute. On the day of the wedding, we did ask you a couple of questions: Can we place the bridal portrait, and where the sparklers were for the exit. However, we were told that everything was taken care of, as you had delegated everything to your team of bridesmaids. We felt very underutilized on the day of the wedding, as we felt there was not much for us to do. Shelby, I wish you nothing but happiness with your husband. You two are darling together, and I wish I could have given you a perfect day.

And during the night she would come up to me and say, "Its time to cut the cake." So all my worries went out the window. My mom really enjoyed her also, because my mom could really relax and just enjoy the party. It was a wonderful decision hiring a wedding planner for my wedding day.

d in my budget) and she made the whole process worry free. When you plan from out of state, you never know who will be good or not. But Sue was able to plow through all that nonsense and find the best team for me. I came into town a few times, and we have a very big meeting where she built my "timeline." This was great because I knew what should happen and approx. what time it should happen. Not that I really needed to know, as on the wedding day Sue would come up to me and whisper in my ear, it's time to cut the cake, or it's time to dance with your dad. It was wonderful. My parents also really enjoyed her, and they only met her the day before the wedding. But she treated my parents like a King and Queen on my dad, which I loved. If I had to do it all over again, I would hire Sue in a New York minute!

On the wedding day itself, Sue and her lead planner were fantastic! She helped me choose my music, which was perfect for our ceremony. She helped to organize 20 people in the wedding party, and to keep my mom sane! Once we got to the reception, Sue and Brittney got us a drink, and then served us dinner before we went into the reception room - which I thought was so smart. Once in the room my husband and I could walk from table to table to say hi, when everyone was eating. It was perfect. Sue cut my wedding cake, and made sure we had cake with us when we left. It was just a perfect day, and I can't thank her enough.

We went and looked at three venues, and I think she got into my head, as all three were exactly what I was envisioning. She helped me choose my florist, who was not only amazing, but within our budget. From the caterer to the photographer, Sue is hooked up in this town! I know I could not have had a nice wedding with such great vendors if I had not hired Sue. On the day of my wedding she was there for me and my mom, and we wanted for nothing. She was quick to respond throughout the day with advice, ideas, suggestions and assurance that though this process isnt easy, I'd get through it and have a wonderful wedding in the end. Brittney was of course right about that. If you are unsure if a wedding planner/coordinator is necessary, let say that in my opinion they make a huge difference in your level of stress and the overall outcome of the wedding. I highly reccommend you work with Brittney for your wedding , she is worth every penny!

As out of town parents of the bride we were able to relax and enjoy the wedding while Sue and her staff worked diligently behind the scenes making sure every detail was tended to. Many of our guests commented on how smoothly everything went and how lovely the wedding was. She went to extra lengths to make sure the needs of the bride and groom were tended to before and after the wedding so they wouldn’t be overwhelmed by the whole experience and were able to visit with and enjoy their wedding guests.
The Nest at Ruth Farms was an excellent venue, and Gyros String Quartet did a wonderful job in setting the mood for the ceremony. The food and service by Wendy Krispin Catering was exquisite, the flowers by A&L Floral Design were gorgeous. Fancy Cakes by Lauren did a beyond amazing job on the wedding and groom cakes, and K&S photography did a fantastic job from engagement, bridal, and wedding day pictures! A special shout out to Classic B Carriages for providing a fairy tale ending to a fairy tale wedding! All of our vendors did a great job and we couldn’t have done any of it without Sue’s expertise and recommendations.

She also gave excellent vendor recommendations, wedding etiquette advice, and answered all my questions from the moment I booked her to my wedding day. She made sure all my vendors arrived on time, knew exactly what they should be doing and when they should do it. Sue made sure that everything went smoothly for my wedding and put my nerves at ease so I could enjoy my wedding day. Sue is a saint! She put up with me, my mother, and my MOH lol!! She had a lot of personalities to juggle and did it effortlessly! Sue goes above and beyond to make sure her brides are comfortable and is truly an overachiever. in Texas all the way from LA and never met Sue in person until the day before the wedding! She was always a phone call away even on the weekends and she lined up the best vendors for my big day. Everything was gorgeous!
There was a lot of rain that wedding week and Sue was on top of everything and prepped a Plan B. In the end, we did have rain that delayed the outdoor ceremony but Sue still managed to organize everything/everyone and made sure my dream wedding happened outside like I wanted. No need for plan B! She just worked her magic and got the show back on the road the second the rain stopped.
I would recommend Sue to anyone because she really does go out of her way to please her brides and their families! I had a great time planning my wedding with her and I wish her all the best!

ong. After talking about it, we decided it was worth the expense if we had someone take care of details the day of our wedding so we wouldn't have to. That was THE BEST thing we did for ourselves.
Sue was the integral reason our wedding was as amazing as it was. Prior to the wedding, she spent a lot of time and effort getting to know us and the details we wanted for the wedding. She brought up questions and details we hadn't yet considered. At the rehearsal she made sure everyone knew what their role in the ceremony would be. And the day of the wedding? My gosh, she is a boss! She handled all the vendors, guests, and timeline so my wife and I didn't have to think about anything except enjoying ourselves. We hired a caricature artist for the guests, and Sue even made sure to gather us from wherever we were to ensure we got our portrait time with him. The evening was blissful and 100% enjoyable. As far as we knew, everything went according to plan. Which I think is representative of Sue's talents, as nothing ever goes according to plan, lol. She handled everything so we didn't have to even think about.
My wife and I had a perfect wedding and a perfect night, and I know that was due in large part to Sue. She is a caring and hardworking woman who I'm so so so glad we had with us on that night.

p track of all the small details as we did our own planning. And then when the day came, Sue and her assistant Brittney were very well organized and were helpful all night. Sue even helped bustle my wife's dress after the ceremony, and when one of the bustles popped off, Sue popped open her emergency kit and sewed it back on! I'm not sure what we would have done if she was not so prepared and skilled. Sue and Brittney had ear pieces that allowed them to speak with each-other and coordinate from different rooms. They were both very helpful and sweet, and we'd gladly recommend Sue Kelson's services.

would take about 3 hours. I thought, "what could we possibly talk about for 3 hours?" Well, it took about 5 hours -haha! We talked about so many details, many of which I never would have thought about! And it brought up other things that I needed to check on and get marked off my to-do list. She was very patient, and walked me and my parents through the whole day. On my wedding day, she helped with things like helping to organize my family for the group pictures - which is not easy, as my family is very large! The day went just as planned, and I did not feel stressed, which was very important to me. We were also worried about our DJ, but Sue talked with him before the wedding, so I felt much better. On the day of my wedding, he forgot his timeline, but it was not a problem, because Sue just gave him her timeline. On top of everything else, Sue and her assistant helped my parents load the car with all our gifts and things we brought. My parents were so tired, this was really helpful. I would recommend her to anyone needing a planner. She really made my day perfect!

get a refund. She was very organized, always answered my e-mails and calls in a timely manner, and was very helpful overall. She paid special attention to my mother, who is elderly, and made sure she had everything she needed. Sue made my wedding day very stress free.

We had a few hiccups with the vendors, but I did not even know of the problems until after the wedding, when Sue called to tell me I would be getting a discount from a couple of vendors. So as I understand, she and her assistant put out a few fires on the wedding day. But I got my wish, as I did not have to worry. It was a lovely day for my daughter and her new husband, and our entire family. Sue allowed us to enjoy the big day!
