Sugarsnap Vermont Catering

ly almost cried when they sent us an initial estimate because I just didn't think it would be possible to get what we wanted from such a well-reviewed and professional catering company for a price we could afford -- but they made it happen. We actually ended up getting a lot more out of it than we even anticipated, and we got great feedback from our guests about how delicious the food was!

was the best food they’ve had at a wedding, which is saying something. Loved every bite!

ved and was exactly what I was able to pay. The food was delicious and they took my guests’ dietary needs seriously. The people who work there were extremely kind and considerate throughout the whole night. They went above and beyond to make me and my fiancée comfortable—they even set up our soda bar for us that we provided ourselves and therefore figured we would have to set up ourselves. They saw my 91 year old grandfather trying to put away chairs at the end of the night and even stayed to help him, even though that was not at all expected or even part of their contracted services. They were just earnestly kind people who made our night run smoothly with delicious food and exceptional service.

a blast and didn’t have to lift a finger—Sam’s day of coordination skills were amazing. The food was delicious and Sam baked us some amazing pies for dessert that were a hit. They were professional, adaptive, great to work with, and in advance really helped reassure us and make sure we had what we needed (without renting unnecessary things) They even carried food up to the ceremony site for us to have time together and a bite to eat after the ceremony. The staff was great, as well—guests keep commenting on how great the caterers were. We also had bar service from sugarsnap that was a hit!

ctures. They went above and beyond for us and the service was great. I highly recommend Sugarsnap for any catering needs!

e to find another caterer for bar services. That’s where the incredible team at Sugarsnap, especially bartender Kristen Beaver, rode in and saved the wedding. They were prompt and professional. Kristen even went as far as to drive down to our venue three weeks prior to our wedding to meet my mother and I to do a wine tasting and brainstorm on the best ways to keep our guests safe! Not only that but Kristen was the primary bartender at our wedding and she went above and beyond, handwriting a bar menu, anticipating guest needs, helping to clear plates and glasses, and handing me my first glass of champagne when I entered at the end of cocktail hour. She was simply amazing!

when I was in town (live out of state). And the food was DELICIOUS! Staff working the night of the wedding were very attentive and friendly.

have ever hoped for to help coordinate our wedding day. From numerous e-mails and phone calls to accommodating multiple tastings due to my wife’s food allergies, Kristen was the ultimate professional and kept us at ease as we were planning the wedding ourselves from out of state. Kristen also served as the coordinator and point person for all of our vendors throughout the day and took charge when needed, checking in with us only when necessary. She was kind, flexible, calming, and incredibly organized - leaving us feeling confident even when the weather forecasts changed by the second. It was looking doubtful that we’d be able to have the outdoor wedding ceremony we had always dreamed of, but Kristen suggested we wait out the weather, and sure enough, we were able to get married outside with a beautiful view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains in the background. In spite of all of the weather, Sugarsnap did a fantastic job moving our planned outdoor cocktail hour inside quickly and efficiently, wiped down the chairs several times after each downpour, and even brought in appetizers and drinks to our wedding party when our post-ceremony photo shoot was taking longer than expected. We opted for a family style meal and the food and service were outstanding. We received so many compliments on the food and bar service and guests are still talking about it today. We so wish we could go back and re-experience our day. Thank you to Sugarsnap and Kristen for doing such an incredible job and making our wedding unforgettable!

ul! The food is absolutely incredible, the presentation is perfect, and the staff is delightful! The day of my wedding, Kristen and Jess took care of everything – I never had to check in, instead they checked in with us once and then our wedding party throughout the night. The venue was freezing but the staff was well prepared with jackets and gloves. Everyone raved about the food! I come from a family of mostly vegetarians and my husband is a meat and potatoes guy from the Midwest, and SugarSnap was able to cater to both tastes. I highly recommend SugarSnap if you are looking for a farm-to-table style catering event. Even if you are not, the staff is so accommodating that they are capable of making anything happen!

as forthright in her recommendations of what was and was not important when discussing the wedding menu. Sugarsnap provided many options, from appetizers to the main meal. No problem meeting the special menu needs of any guest. Closer to the wedding, we met with Kristen at the venue. Once again, her suggestions made everything easier. On the wedding day, we couldn't have been happier with our menu choices, with the presentation, and with the Sugarsnap staff who set up, served and took down at the venue. Our guests raved about the food at the time and have continued to do so. You cannot go wrong with Sugarsnap!

he entire process. The entire staff was friendly. We’re so glad we chose Sugarsnap! Most importantly the food was delicious -- from the passed apps to the dessert cupcakes, these guys are incredible. Book them!

. Cynthia did an amazing job during set up and the day of, and was always professional, friendly, and calm. They also did a great job tailoring the menu towards our budget and vision. Thank you, Sugarsnap!

t could give us something more than burgers and hot dogs for our budget. We ordered from their lunch catering menu instead of their dinner menu to save money and everything was a hit. They managed it as a zero waste event, which I really appreciated. It was mostly the amount of care Abbey gave to our small event that blew me away. She responded to questions Big and small very fast and with Good suggestions. They're just all around good people serving great food.

is so tasty. Not to mention the presentation of the food on the wedding day and professionalism of the staff was superb. A lot of brides say that they never eat at their wedding because they are so busy mingling, but I made a point to enjoy all the food because I knew just how incredible it was going to be. Book Sugar Snap! They are the best!

ul things to say about the food. They made custom cupcakes for us which were beautiful! If I had to find one thing that could be improved, it would be that the rice pilaf was rather bland (but it was very flavorful at the tasting). Highly recommended.

dressed for the occassion and always had a smile!!

reception dinner and people are still mentioning it to us weeks later. We highly recommend Sugar Snap!!
