Really poorly organized folks in this store. Our wedding was June and my husband went in January to have his measurements taken, thinking that we were staying on top of our attire for our wedding day. Not once did anyone tell him he should come back closer to the wedding or that it was too early to measure. My husband picked one of their higher tiered suits for himself and our groomsmen and we chose to have our ring bearer in the same suit as him with matte black shoes. Fast forward to our wedding week, our wedding was on a Friday. On Tuesday, they called my husband to tell him that they were mistaken and that they did not have the correct shoes for our ring bearer; they had patent black shoes for him not the matte black shoes. Not the biggest deal in the world, but both of us felt frustrated that they called just days before the wedding with little time to make an alternate plan to get the look we envisioned. The fact that they waited until the week of the wedding to make the call felt very unprofessional and inconsiderate. On top of that, my husband went in on Wednesday to pick up his suit from them. When he arrived his suit was VERY large on him. In addition, they also did not have the correct pants for one of our groomsmen who went with him that Wednesday to pick up their suits. The person who helped to fit him agreed that it was too big so they rush/overnight ordered him a smaller size and our groomsman's pants to get here the next day. Thursday morning, they called my husband to tell him that his suit that they overnighted was stuck on a truck in Texas due to weather and would not be here until 12pm on the day of our wedding. Obviously that would not work so my husband went to their store to be fitted for a backup suit. While they were accommodating with this, it would not have had to happen if they were on top of their business.
The morning of our wedding, they did bring the suit to our house where the guys were getting ready. The suit was STILL too big for my husband and he ended up having to mix and match pieces from both suits to make it work for him. While he still looked great - for the price of the suits, we expected him to have the look that we envisioned without hiccups and it was quite the disappointment that we were left scrambling to make something else work and again it felt incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate that due to their lack of attention, this stress fell onto the groom on the wedding day.
When we went to turn the suit back in we expressed our frustrations and were assured that the top supervisor would be in touch to have a conversation with us. That was the Sunday after our wedding and it's now going to be going on 3 weeks that we have still not heard from them to even discuss the experience.
My recommendation - take your hard earned dollars elsewhere. Especially on a day where there are so many moving parts that if one is off it can affect so much of the rest of the day. Again, it's not that the whole day was ruined because of this, but it all felt so unavoidable in the first place.
Unprofessional and Disorganized
Let me start by saying that Suits Unlimited was nothing but problems. My husband was originally fitted for his tux in August, and he was excited because he wanted a very specific Maroon tux that was a special order. In August he was fitted and supposedly the tux was ordered. The sales person working at Suits Unlimited told my husband to come on the Thursday before the wedding to make sure everything fit and looked good for the wedding. So on Thursday my husband and his groomsmen along with my dad and father-in-law went to pick up their tuxes and everything seems to go wrong from this point. The groomsmen’s tuxes seemed to be ill-fitting and every tux had to be either taken in or adjusted somehow. The worst part is that they still had not received my husband’s tux. So they told him to come back the next day, Friday, because that is when they were expecting the tux. Well, when he went in the next day the tux had not arrived just yet. While my husband was in the store the UPS deliveryman arrived with the tux, and unfortunately a black tux arrived, not the Maroon tux my husband was hoping for. We came to find out that Daryl ordered the incorrect tux, and was very unprofessional when deal with my husband and dad. They really didn’t have a good back up plan, but they ordered the tux with next day shipping and assured by husband that the tux would arrive on the day of the wedding, Saturday, by 10am. My husband went to the store on Saturday morning at 10am and low and behold, the tux had not yet arrived and the store manager told my husband that the tux would be available for pick up at 12:45pm and they would deliver the tux. Our wedding ceremony was set to start at 2:00pm and we were doing our first look at 1:15pm. At this point, my husband was feed up with the poor customer service and lack of quality control so he decided to go to Mr. Tux to get a tux there. The Suits Unlimited employees arrived during our first look, and even though my husband was fully dressed in another tux, they insisted that he try on the one they had brought. This entire experience was stressful, uncalled for and unprofessional. They clearly have no quality control or respect for their patrons. I would not recommend their services to any bride or groom that is preparing for their wedding day, big or small.
They were super helpful and patient. I didn't want to spend a lot on the suits and they gave me a great price and were really friendly.
Everyone is so nice and helpful! After an awful experience with a different menswear place, I recommend Suits Unlimited to everyone!
Suits Unlimited was great to work with, however, several sizes for our groomsmen were incorrect. I found myself having to follow up repeatedly to make sure they received all measurements from our out of town wedding party as well. Everything was in and perfect come wedding day, but this is one vendor I would stay on top of in advance.
One great perk is the free suit they offer to the groom after rentals are complete. This is a wonderful added benefit!
They have a great selection of vests, tuxes etc they also kept up with us on who had not called in sizes so all in all I would definately suggest the, to friends
Super friendly staff and great quality of tuxes!
The experience with the staff of suits unlimited was great. They were willing to let us try different arrangements to figure out the tuxes and colors we wanted. The tuxes arrived on time for pick-up without any problems.
And since we rented 6 tuxes, my husband got a suit for free. (I think you have to rent a minimum of 5 to get the free suit) And on top of that one of the tuxes was free also.
I highly recommend this vendor to anyone.
The rude were really nice. The people were nice and very helpful with it all.
