was our facility manager and she has a gift of being intuitive and ten steps ahead of everyone else in making sure everything went smoothly. We were one of many couples that postponed their wedding last year, but everyone we communicated with during the the process was kind and accommodating. Note to brides who always envisioned an outdoor ceremony but can't predict the weather...I was bummed moving the ceremony indoors due to potential rain, but the ceremony space indoors was just as good of a back up and so much more amazing than I could ever have imagined when it all came together. I highly recommend!

er, Rachel, and the crew that set everything up and moved things around to accommodate for the rain! Jennifer kept us on top of things up until the day of then Rachel took over the day of and just killed it! 10/10 would recommend this team. Venue was beautiful.

r and unprofessional management at the venue. Our “first look” was interrupted and ruined by a group touring the venue and being led around by one of the owners. They were 15 feet away from us during this moment. Despite the photographer asking them to please move (which should have been common sense, as it was evident what was happening), the group of 6-7 complete strangers is in the background of most all of our first look photos. To add more detail to this, there were 4 separate groups of potential couples with their families touring through the venue throughout our wedding day (prior the wedding but while we were there getting ready, taking pictures, etc.). This was our biggest complaint and if we had known, would not have choose Sun Valley as our venue. Another situation which affected our opinion of Sun Valley was 2 people on their staff ate our extra (paid for by us as they were for no-show guests) meals which the caterer had boxed for us to take home. Sun Valley’s response to this was it’s in their contract with the caterer to be provided free meals, however when we followed up with the caterer, they had no idea and confirmed these were ours and they were not aware they were to provide free meals to venue staff. Even after this, Sun Valley did nothing to make this right for us or apologize. This was an on-going theme working with Sun Valley, accountability and professionalism was almost always lacking. We are easy to work with and would highly recommend all of the other vendors we worked with (photography, videography, officiant, planner, DJ, catering, florist, etc.) except for our venue, Sun Valley.

we first toured. The bridal suite is so intimate and fun, my girls and I had a blast hanging out in there and getting ready all day! The grounds that Sun Valley have surrounding the building made the perfect backdrop for our wedding video and pictures. I am so so SO impressed, they made my day absolutely perfect. I want to thank the crew at Sun Valley again for everything, I can't wait to see your success in the upcoming years! BRIDES- please go tour! So affordable, beautiful and perfect!

nitial tour and was so helpful getting us set up. Scott was amazing when we needed to do some last-minute DJ shuffling between dates. Jennifer has been amazingly patient, helpful, and wonderful about answering all my questions about COVID, shuffling things around, what I need to cross off my to-dos...literally any question I had she answered right away. The team has gone above and beyond and I would highly recommend working with them. On top of the amazing staff, the venue itself is beautiful. Surrounded by trees, grass and the pond you feel secluded in your own private space. Highly, highly recommend.

planning a 2020 wedding, Covid-19 carried many challenges that almost forced us to cancel our entire wedding; however, my husband and I ultimately decided that we did not want to cancel or postpone our August 15th wedding. We had already sent out Save the Dates, invitations were printed and our vendors were all confirmed so cancelling/postponing was not an option for us. We wanted to get married on that date and Jennifer at Sun Valley helped us do just that! When our original wedding venue set some pretty strict guidelines, because of the pandemic, we decided to cancel with them and search for a new venue. We found Sun Valley online and went for a visit in early June (their August 15th wedding had postponed so they had our date available). We immediately fell in love with the country charm and feel that SV exudes. Every detail of the renovation was well thought out to accommodate any type of event; especially weddings. From the outside covered terrace -perfect for cocktail hour - to the inside chandeliers, built in bars, beautiful tile wall in the main reception area and private bridal suite, Jennifer, Scott and Melissa touched on everything! I am in the event industry and have planned many events and was blown away by this venue! Their simple touches elevated our experience as well as the experience of our guests. We have received nothing but compliments about the venue and many of our guests noted that this was one of the most beautiful places they've ever been to for a wedding. What also was comforting to us and should be comforting to someone who is in the early stages of planning is the sheer fact that Jennifer, Scott and Melissa are all industry professionals. Jennifer is a wedding planner (Heart 2 Heart Occasions), Scott is part of the Cleveland Music Group (Music/Uplighting/etc) and Melissa is a photographer (One Red Door Photography). All have been in the industry for many years and will go above and beyond to make your day special. Also, if you are in need of a planner, DJ and photographer, they certainly can connect you with the right people :) My husband and I are SO happy we had our wedding at Sun Valley and can't imagine having had it anywhere else. Thank you Jennifer for accommodating us as we essentially had to "re-plan" our wedding in two months and also for being so responsive to all of our emails and phone calls. We were able to have the wedding we envisioned because of YOU! Also, thank you to Flour for the amazing food! Highly recommend using them as the caterer. Chef Matt Mytro, Caitlin and their team did a fantastic job. We wish we could go back and do it all again!

losing out on money we were scared to jump into another commitment. Sun valley made us feel secure in our decision and have been absolutely terrific ever since. If you’re having second thoughts about this GORGEOUS venue- take the leap. You have an awesome staff to back you up as well as a beautiful venue to call your own for a day! And if you don’t already, follow them on Instagram because I live for their posts and stories on their Instagram, truly down to earth, great people!

BEST!! It is such a beautiful and peaceful piece of property that truly feels like your own personal park. I love the options it offers with outside spots for the ceremony as well as outside under the covered patio, to the huge inside space that gives all your guests enough room to sit and dance so they aren't right on top of each other. I highly recommend checking this place out and adding it to your list of venue options!
