We had our wedding at Sunflower Hill Farm and it was nothing short of spectacular. The kindness, thoughtfulness, and awareness the SHF team brought to not only the event but the planning was more than we could've ever asked for.
The venue was spectacular. We opted to have our ceremony inside the barn area in the breezeway and it was beautiful. Everything was set up by the team in the most stunning way.
Rob, the owner, was constantly kind and thoughtful all throughout prep and the day itself. Freya, our coordinator, was so attentive to detail and extremely hardworking. She dealt with any challenges that came up and found ways to accomodate even our special requests and asks! If there were any problems on the wedding day, we never found out about it - she kept us on schedule and perfectly organized. She is seriously a super star.
The catering team and servers were wonderful, polite, light hearted and so efficient. They were never in the way but always there when you needed them. We opted to have SHF cater our dinner and it was just so so good. Even if you don't get married here - we highly recommend stopping in for lunch!
Having our wedding at Sunflower Hill was the cornerstone of making it the most special day of our lives and having it go incredibly smoothly. If we decided to renew our vows, we'd come back. It was the perfect way to start our married journey!
From the very start of our wedding planning, Sunflower Hill and our day-of coordinator, Freyja, exceeded our expectations. The venue itself was a dream—versatile, stunning, and beautifully layered with different settings that made our day truly special. We were able to enjoy every moment in one incredible location, from getting ready to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The indoor and outdoor spaces provided us with the perfect flexibility to create the atmosphere we envisioned.
Our guests were in awe of the venue's beauty, and many complimented us on how beautiful and thoughtfully designed it was. The ability to seamlessly transition from the bridal house, where we got ready and held our intimate Chinese tea ceremony, to the main event spaces, made the day even more memorable. The bridal house added a layer of intimacy for our immediate family, which made the experience all the more special.
Sunflower Hill also provided good catering services, making everything so easy and stress-free. They took care of all the details, including the easels, signage, glassware, plates, and napkins. This service allowed us to focus on enjoying our day without worrying about logistics.
However, we do have some feedback regarding the cost and additional charges. While we absolutely loved the venue and the experience it provided, we felt that many of the extra charges were for items that should have been included in the initial price. Given the substantial amount we paid—for just the use of the space, not including food or alcohol—it seemed that some of these additional costs should have been covered in the overall price. Specifically, the $1,000 charge to extend the event by an extra hour and other miscellaneous fees felt particularly excessive, especially for a smaller wedding party of less than 62 people.
We toured several other venues, many of which included the extra hour in their package without additional fees. It felt like there was an additional push for more revenue, especially considering that many of the servers were high school students. We understand that venues have their costs, but we believe that a more inclusive pricing structure and a reduced rate for smaller events would have been fairer.
Other than that, a special thank you to Freyja, whose hard work and dedication were pivotal in making our day perfect. Her communication was outstanding from start to finish. She was always responsive, kind, and incredibly helpful. On the wedding day, she went above and beyond, assisting with everything from helping me change into my second dress to running around to find any items we needed. Even after the wedding, her support didn’t waver—she promptly helped us track down a few things we accidentally left behind.
We would recommend Sunflower Hill to any couple looking for a beautiful, versatile, and flawlessly managed wedding venue. Despite our concerns about the pricing structure, Freyja and her team made our special day absolutely perfect, and we are so grateful for their hard work and attention to detail. Thank you for creating such an unforgettable experience!
We just got married at Sunflower Hill Farm 2 weeks ago and it was beyond our dreams amazing! The venue itself is stunning - everything from the ceremony space, cocktail hour patio, wine cellar, outdoor areas/grounds and reception space is beautiful. We really wanted a wedding that was as outdoor as possible, but with a great back-up option in case of rain / heat / bad weather, and Sunflower Hill Farm was the perfect choice. While we did luck out and had a perfect day in terms of weather, we were really confident that even if we needed to move everything inside, it would’ve been beautiful. The venue also has an incredible getting ready suite - trust me you will want to use it on your wedding day! It made for the most amazing morning getting ready for the big day. In addition to the venue itself, we used their in house catering and the food was delicious!
Also, very importantly, the entire staff was incredible to work with. We worked with Freyja and she was the BEST!!! Communication was always speedy and so easy, which was really important since we live out of state and planned our wedding from out of state. Freyja was so great from the very beginning when she gave us our tour of the venue all the way through to the day-of. We always felt like we were in great hands with her and she was extremely responsive and helpful in making sure our wedding day was all we wanted it to be. She was even there to help my maid of honor bustle my dress! There really was no request or question that she couldn’t make work for us, and we are so grateful to have worked with her!
Do yourself a favor and book Sunflower Hill Farm for your wedding! You will not regret it!! We certainly loved it and our guests did too!

I hosted my daughter’s bridal shower at SFH - it was amazing to say the least. The venue was beautiful, the staff were professional in every aspect and the property was in full bloom. We offered a brunch type menus with a mimosa bar and flavored waters - delish!!
The even coordinator Freyja was a fool and so easy to work with. She answered all questions that arose along with being all hands on deck the day of the shower. Would recommend to anyone!!!
Sunflower Hill Farm was the best venue we could have chosen for our special day! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous with great views and an indoor outdoor wedding. The staff there really made the day. They were so great to work with, from the time they toured us around, to the months leading up to the wedding and the weekend of the wedding, I couldn’t have asked for better people to work with. Freyja was our coordinator and made us feel so comfortable with planning our special day. Every detail was thought of and everything ran so smooth. You can tell this family owned business knows what they are doing! We loved getting ready at the farmhouse; there was ample room for the bridesmaids and groomsmen and the house is amazing. Pictures on the property turned out perfect as well!

The wedding day was magnificent! SHF is a beautiful venue on it's own, then throw in wonderful personal service with Freyja, Rob and Quinn! Without everyone at Sunflower Hill Farms, our wedding would not have been as magical and perfect as it was. Quinn, Rob and Freyja were so amazing and went above and beyond at every step. Incredibly proactive in the days and months leading up to the wedding. They were all a blessing the day of helping with anything and everything small and large. We loved that it was a small family owned and run group.
We did the wedding weekend package so we got access to the (very pretty and charming) house on property the day before and after. The bridesmaids had a fun sleepover the night before and there were plenty of rooms for everyone.
Our dog is a big part of our lives and we wanted to make sure she was included in our special day. A deciding factor for us when choosing a venue was to make sure it was dog friendly. Once again, they went above and beyond to make us all feel comfortable and welcomed.
Waking up the next morning as a new MARRIED couple and looking out over our venue was a moment we’ll remember forever.

Everything from the first interaction was awesome. We felt welcomed from the get go. Communication was amazing, from the pre-wedding meetings down to day before and day of. We used them for everything including food, decorations, and florals. All aspects were executed and coordinated efficiently and with grace. Essentially we wanted to show up on the big day and enjoy - thats exactly what we did. The food was delicious as well. We cannot thank Sunflower Hill Farm and Freyja enough. Our day was the best!!
I got to work as a vendor at Sunflower Hill Farm for the first time last week and their venue is fantastic! It is beautiful, secluded, and the staff was fantastic. We even had a rain scare before the ceremony, and the entire staff was ready with umbrellas for guests. Highly reccomend!
We had a bridal shower for my daughter at Sunflower Hill Farm. It was a superb experience from our first contact to the very last. The staff was so friendly and caring, especially Freyja who helped us organize and plan the shower.

Sunflower Hill Farms was the perfect venue for our wedding day! Freyja and her team, along with Rob, went above and beyond to make sure everything was just how we envisioned it. From the table settings to the lanterns and garland lining the aisles, they were so accommodating and absolutely wonderful to work with. They were so responsive, always there to answer questions and help guide us through some of the plans/ thoughts that we had. We can't thank them enough. Oh and we certainly recommend their catering plan! We had so many compliments on how great the food was, some saying it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten. It was a perfect day because of them and we wouldn't change a thing!
Wedding Review- Incredible staff, wedding coordinator and atmosphere. My Christmas/winter wedding dreams were brought to life with the breathtaking venue as the centerpiece to my vision. The venue also catered our meal and everything is locally grown and made from scratch so I was able to personalize/alter the menu to my taste. Highly recommend the mash potatoes and the mac and cheese (AMAZING!).

Sunflower Hill Farm is the best wedding venue in the Midwest, without a doubt!! The TOTAL package!! We worked with Frejya and Quinn at SHF to plan our wedding while we were living *out of state* and it was a BREEZE (seriously!!) SHF is a family owned business and we felt like we were a part of the family throughout our wedding planning. The whole SHF team is full of kind and friendly people and it’s clear that they all love what they do, it’s infectious to be around 🤍 We only came into town about 4 times before our wedding (each time for less than a week) and SHF was very flexible to meet us and get everything together in these meetings. Bonus, we got to visit their gorgeous farm each time, surrounded by wildflowers and rolling hills, where they serve up the best lattes and homemade treats! One visit to the farm and you’ll know it’s truly everything you could wish for your wedding. SHF provided top-tier food, bar, table decor, on-site bridal/grooms suites, bonfire pits with s’mores, and more, which saved us so much time and energy, plus everything was PHENOMENAL. Also we booked Lucy, owner of Moody Blooms and who works on SHF, for florals which is a MUST DO!! No one does florals like Lucy, she’s got a true passion for florals and she delivered the most beautiful bouquet, boutonnieres, arbor design, and table decor, better than I could have ever dreamed up 🌻 Our photographers and videographer also all commented on how easy and friendly SHF staff was to work with, which speaks volumes!! SHF provided everything we needed and more, allowing us to be fully present and in the moment our wedding day since we had full trust that everything would be perfect—and it was truly the best day of our lives!!! We cannot wait to come back and visit and are beyond thankful to have had our wedding at SHF 💛

Everyone was so easy to work with, communication was easy & efficient, & everyone was so friendly and thoughtful! I had so many guests comment on how amazing the venue was!
Sunflower Hill Farm exceeded our expectations! Freyja, Rob, Quinn, Lucy and the whole staff and family were absolutely amazing. As soon as we saw the place for the first time we knew it was the perfect fit. They treated you like family and made sure that every detail was covered. They communicated well and we had no worries on our wedding day. Just a nice relaxing day with family and friends to celebrate our wedding! I would highly recommend them to anyone! I can't say enough great things about Sunflower Hill Farms. Freya and Quinn kept in contact, adjusted things 1000x for us and over all made the day 100% perfect. Chance of rain, crazy family, and a late florist on top of normal wedding day jitters were all taken care of with no questions or issues. We highly recommend Sunflower Hill Farm. From the beginning, we were treated with respect, care, and interest. Our introduction to the venue was with Rob, and he was very communicative and professional. He and his family love their place and sharing it with others. As he and Quinn became busier with the birth of their baby, Freyja joined the team and continued the same interaction style. She enjoys weddings and helping to make the day special for each couple. They go the extra mile (shout out to Rob for our end of the night rescue!) to take care of you and your guests. They were very helpful in planning for how to accommodate our guests with physical disabilities.
The venue is very quiet, peaceful, and private. Parking is safe and secure. The farmhouse is beautiful, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The cats are super friendly and happy to help calm your nerves by sitting in your lap. The chickens are fun to watch and look great in photos. The food served by the on site chef was quite tasty, and we were able to make adjustments for our guests with dietary needs. Support staff was polite, professional, and very efficient. We had perfect weather for our wedding day, but they do have the ability to easily convert the space if it is raining or cold outside.

Freyja was extremely helpful in the planning phase and was always willing to work to accomodate any requests we had. The food was excellent and the service the night of the event was great. We had some guests with specific dietary needs and they worked with us to make sure they were satisfied with their choices. Beautiful venue, overall really wonderful experience.

Rob, Freyja, and all of the staff were 5 stars to work with. Everything ran like a well oiled machine, we didn't have to worry about anything the day of except bringing what we needed. We used the inhouse catering and the food was fantastic! I would recommend anyone looking for an outdoor venue to consider them. Our guests all loved the venue and everyone we saw afterward said that we picked such a beautiful place to get married. It was so stress free to just have everything on site and everyone took great care of us at every turn. Every question that we asked was answered within a reasonable time frame, they were happy to work with us to make sure that our wedding was what we wanted. Having the whole property was also so helpful for us and our guests. Our experience at Sunflower Hill Farms was outstanding. From the first time we visited to the end of the wedding, everyone was friendly, helpful and went over the top with their service. The staff was thoughtful. professional and hard-working. They attended to every detail and accommodation with care. Any issue that arose was solved quickly and by the guidance of the bride's wishes. Every time we ran into one of their employees during the reception we were asked if there was anything they could do, but there really was not because they were on top of everything. The location is beautiful and modern in a very casual way. We would 100% recommend Sunflower Hill Farms to anyone who is looking for the perfect wedding and reception.

I cannot say enough good things about this amazing wedding venue and it's staff! The venue itself is gorgeous. We wanted to have our ceremony and reception at one location and wanted it to be outdoors. Sunflower couldn't have been a more perfect choice. I loved that even though we had one location for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, they were each held at different beautiful spots on the property which provided some versatility.
The staff was fantastic as well. They assisted with every detail of our wedding, from ceremony coordination to table decor. I didn't feel a degree of stress or concern on my wedding day allowing me to enjoy every moment of it.

My daughter had her wedding reception at Sunflower Hill Farm. From the first time we stepped onto the property until the day of the wedding, the staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. The venue is beautiful. Carla was phenomenal at Sunflower Hill Farm. We had quite the weather changing day of my daughters wedding. Carla made it seamless and kept us informed throughout the whole day as plans shifted. The wedding turned out gorgeous with no rain. The chef at Sunflower was amazing - two weeks after the wedding people are still talking about the awesome food and venue. Consider Sunflower for your wedding - rain or shine - it is absolutely a gorgeous venue.

Each inch of the picturesque property provides a stunning backdrop for pictures on your big day. Carla (the day-of wedding coordinator on site) helped us with all of our wedding planning needs each step of the way. Unfortunately it rained on our wedding day, but I felt 100% at ease knowing Carla + her team were in charge. Everything ran so smoothly and they accommodated all of our last minute changes due to the weather. Our guests are still raving about the beauty of the venue, the delicious food (catered by their onsite culinary team), and the friendly staff. You will NOT be disappointed by this venue!! An absolute dream come true!
Hands down, Sunflower Hill Farm is the perfect venue for a wedding. Not only are the 360 views of the property amazing, but so is the staff. From start to finish, Carla and her team made our experience seamless. They were so easy to work with, and we knew from the first day we visited SHF that our experience was going to be special. And it was!

Carla and Quinn are both amazing coordinators, and they took care of EVERYTHING I could have ever needed. They made my day go so smoothly, and anticipated anything I could need. They were both so easy to communicate with, and they were always supportive and compassionate. I couldn't have asked for a better team, and a more beautiful venue. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and I got so many complements on how lovely the venue was. I would heartily recommend Sunflower Hill Farm for any event you have, or just to stop in the cafe for a visit to take in the beautiful atmosphere.
Sunflower Hill Farm was an exceptional wedding reception venue. The grounds and landscaping were meticulously and perfectly maintained and every detail was set perfectly. Carla and her staff were so helpful and attentive and definitely went above and beyond to make sure there were no issues. There service was second to none and their problem solving and sweet gifts to us were truly one of a kind. I highly recommend this venue if you want to feel pampered and taken care of on your wedding day. Carla and her staff thought of everything and we can't thank them enough!

This amazing and beautiful venue is a gem less than 30 minutes from St Louis. Farm fresh and locally sourced foods, prepared with heart and care. Gorgeous gardens, amazing lodging for the wedding party and picture perfect settings for receptions and dinner that are a just-right blend of indoor and al fresco.
Our event coordinator, Carla Chitwood, worked diligently with us over our near year of planning. She gave personal attention to each detail to help ensure an event that our guests still rave about. Even our dance! Guests of all ages loved the s’mores at the three grand fire pits. Set in an old quarry on the property, the fire pit area makes you feel as if you’re at a rustic European villa. Carla also worked with our budget to provide a fabulous experience that didn’t break the bank.
We love Sunflower Hill and return as often as possible for meals and farm-to-table events.

Sunflower Hill Farm was truly our dream venue!! Carla and the team were so accommodating, flexible, and just a pleasure to work with. Carla was quick to respond to all my emails, questions, and concerns which made planning on my part smooth and low-stress without a planner or coordinator. She made a whole timeline of the day which I was able to give to my vendors so that everything was seamless the day of. I was most concerned about potential issues with transportation, as we hired shuttles for our guests, and Carla advised me on the best course of action and served as the point of contact with the drivers, which turned out perfect. We also wanted our dog in the ceremony and the SFH team helped handle him after his moment in the spotlight, and checked on him in his crate during the reception! In addition to the great service, I could go on about how stunning the property and the house is. So well done and even more beautiful in person. We are so appreciative for SFH and the team there for making our wedding a perfect dream come true ! 10/10 would recommend!!!
Sunflower Hill Farms is just a lovely place to get married - not only is the location beautiful but Carla and the staff were a pleasure to work with. First, they were very supportive and accommodating when my wife and I decided to postpone our wedding from August 2020 to August 2021 due to COVID-19. They maintained constant communication with us and our vendors, and I can honestly say that on our wedding day we had nothing to worry about. A quick anecdote, we had a friend of ours tell me and my wife that Sunflower Hill was exactly she pictures her perfect wedding to look like one day. I think that says it all.
Sunflower Hill Farm is the best wedding venue!! The reception area, ceremony venue, and house are so beautiful. Karen, the owner, has created such a lovely space for all kinds of events. The staff is truly what sets Sunflower apart from all others. From the very beginning of the planning process, Carla and Karen made me feel so secure in my decisions. They helped me through any questions I had. My mom and I became friends with them throughout the whole process. They treated us like family anytime we asked to walk through the property. When cover happened and couples started rescheduling their weddings, Carla called me right away to reserve a back up date. The day of my wedding, I was not worried about a thing because I knew that the staff at SHF would take care of it. I absolutely recommend this venue to anyone!
We used Sunflower Hill Farm for our wedding ceremony and reception. Everyone at SHF works so hard for their customers/events. We had an easy time with the planning thanks to their staff, and the day of we hardly had to worry about anything. They maintained constant communication with us, so we never wondered what was going on. The detailed schedule a couple weeks before the wedding helped us hash out anything we had questions about. They were also available to contact our other vendors if we needed help. The venue is so beautiful, and the entire day went so smoothly despite the rain! We love this place and their staff, absolutely recommend SHF to everyone.
Book this venue as fast as you can! Our covid wedding planning changed from June 2020 to April 2021. Carla and everyone at Sunflower were so wonderful to work with. Not only did we change seasons, the day of the wedding there was horrible weather and everything planned for outside became an indoor event. There was no stress in how the design and flow of the wedding proceeded. It could not have been more beautiful. I would also recommend renting the house for the night before your wedding as that made all the difference in the “day of” enjoyment.
The entire crew from landscaping, prep and day of servicing can not be outdone by any other wedding facility.
By the way, they may call this a barn but it’s not like any barn I ever saw on a farm! ;)

Sunflower Hill Farms is the absolute perfect location to get married not only is the location beautiful the staff is amazing! I can’t thank SHF enough for all that they did! I even had a friend mention after attending our wedding “I want to get married again just so that I can get married here!” The venue is breathtaking and was the perfect location for my husband and I. We also are so excited that SHF has its café where we can visit throughout our years of marriage to be at the location we said “I DO”

Sunflower Hill Farm has a special place on our hearts. Planning a wedding during a global pandemic was not exactly what we had in mind. However, the crew at Sunflower Hill Farm was extremely flexible and supportive throughout the process. Their property is absolutely breathtaking. We chose their wedding weekend package, to be able to enjoy the venue for 3 days. It was easily the best decision we made! We felt like we were on vacation and now we have the sweetest memories to treasure forever! Throughout the process we have really grown to love the staff at Sunflower Hill Farm as family. We can’t thank them enough for putting their heart and souls into the work they do. We wouldn’t have changed one thing about our experience. Our wedding day was a DREAM because of them!
We had the most lovely wedding in September 2020. The weather was 70 and sunny, and SHF was the perfect venue for us. SO many guests were so impressed with how spacious it felt and how friendly the staff were. The outdoor ceremony space was gorgeous, the indoor/outdoor combo for our actual dinner was incredible. I had guests say they wanted to come back to SHF on their own time and have a party there! Carla, the main coordinator that worked with us from day one was wonderful. She is kind, punctual, easy to work with, willing to listen to your ideas, and even during a pandemic- our wedding went so smoothly. Bonus- The “party cove” with three giant fire pits were a mega hit with my guests too! We had s’mores for the guests, and I can honestly say this venue will make your wedding dreams come true. The venue is private, but still easy to get to. It’s in Augusta, MO with tons of air bnbs for your guest to stay too! We also had our rehearsal dinner here and the food was SO good!!!! I will recommend this gorgeous place always.
We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at Sunflower Hill Farm on a chilly and rainy November day. Although the weather wasn't great, the facility, accommodations, food, grounds, and staff were top notch. Quinn and the rest of their team went above and beyond to meet our needs and expectations. They accommodated various last-minute changes and requests due to weather and other things with ease. We could not recommend them enough as they were a true pleasure to work with throughout the entire booking process and event. Another great option they have is renting the entire property for the weekend, which includes a beautiful house. That really made our friends and family feel at home and made everything else so much easier having that home base.
The best and most beautiful venue you could ask for. Looking for venues was a little tough because I would see pictures of them and then be instantly disappointed by them in real life. Sunflower Hill was our last tour because it was my favorite that I had found and I was a little nervous I would be disappointed like the others. I am so happy that it was everything you see in the pictures and more. The staff there are so friendly, helpful and really go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience. Getting married in 2020 was a little tricky because of everything going on but the venue was more than willing to let us have an intimate ceremony with just immediate family in the spring on our original date and then change our date to the fall with no hesitation. Both days were amazing and I honestly wish I could redo them both, not because anything went wrong but because I simply had the best wedding I could have asked for. We received SO many compliments about the venue and staff just like I knew we would. Carla, Quinn and the rest of the staff put up with so much and I am so thankful for everything they did. Be sure to book with Sunflower Hill Farm before they are all booked up because I know they will be!!
The absolute best venue we could of ever dreamed of using for our wedding. The owners, coordinator, and all employees are the kindest people! The space inside and out is absolutely stunning. Our guests couldn’t get over how amazing the venue was. It was fantastic to have everything in one location yet it felt like we had so many different areas to enjoy. Made for the easiest and stress free day. Can’t recommend enough!!! Even in 2020 our wedding was amazing because of Sunflower Hill Farm :)
I don't know where to begin because everything about Sunflower Hill Farm and their staff is absolutely amazing! We chose our wedding date just about 2 years before the actual date and they were so helpful answering all of our MANY questions throughout that entire time. Working with Carla and Rob could not have been any easier. They were very helpful and supportive, even when having to deal with COVID-19 in the weeks/months leading up to the wedding. The entire venue is absolutely stunning and it was everything that we were looking for. I can't tell you how many times our guests and even vendors told us that SHF is a hidden gem - they couldn't be more right! Carla, Rob, and the rest of the staff were extremely dedicated to helping make our dream wedding happen and go as smooth as possible. They worked with vendors directly if needed and made any changes necessary to make sure that it was all perfect for us. Everyone was so caring and genuine, it felt as though they were family. One of the things that really stuck out to us and meant a lot was that they made sure that not only the Bride and Groom were taken care of throughout the day but also our family and guests. The Sunflower Hill Farm staff worked tirelessly to make our wedding day perfect despite all the changes and stresses that COVID-19 brought. They answered phone calls and emails, worked with us to amend our plans and institute safety measures, and were both professional and personable throughout the entire process. It felt like they were just as dedicated to our wedding (and postponed celebration) as we were! Carla, Rob, and the whole team at SHF are genuinely wonderful and exactly the kind of people you want to be part of such an important day. Knowing their team was there to handle last-minute details, direct vendors, and ready to execute multiple backup plans in the unpredictable MO weather was such a gift and allowed us to focus on just enjoying our day. We would recommend anyone and everyone to get married at Sunflower Hill Farm. Carla was such a joy to work with and the entire process from start to finish was stress-free and flawless. To begin the process at Sunflower Hill Farm you meet with Carla who is the event coordinator. Upon arrival to the Farm , you are merely awe-struck and taken back by the beauty and serenity of the property. It is clearly visible that they have poured their hearts, sweat, and money into ensuring this property is spectacular. After touring the grounds it was clear to my now wife Amy and I that this is where we wanted to get married. Rob, the owner's son, and Carla the event coordinator were easy to get ahold of, and were very attentive to any concerns or suggestions that we proposed. For the catering, they have an exclusive agreement with Chef Lee, he will provide a sampling menu accompanied with a wine tasting to tailor to your reception. Amy and I chose a seated dinner, and had the chicken bruschetta. I have never had a better wedding meal in my life. The chicken cut like it was pulled pork. They also offer varying packages for hors d'oeuvres and accompanying sides for the meal. As the day went on, your mind is going a thousand miles a minute to soak up every memory, however one that Amy and I keep coming back to is just how friendly the staff members at the farm were. Every employee had a smile on their face and said congratulations, or offered to get anything that Amy and I asked for. The smiles or pleasantries were not forced, they were genuinely enjoying their work, and that for me made a memorable impression.
To reiterate, the Sunflower Hill Farm has an amazing staff, most notable Rob (Karen's son, who helps with reception vendors, knows the grounds inside and out, helps with the logistics of running a smooth wedding), Carla the event coordinator, who was the main contact for contract questions, addendums, helps coordinate the tasting, and the final walk through of the venus.
We also felt a close connection with Karen (the owner), as she was previously a nurse, just like Amy and I. It was all the little special connections, and hard work that made our wedding day quite literally the best day of our old lives and new lives.
Amy and I highly recommend this venue and hope that couples can share the same amazing experience as we did, for it was nothing short of the perfect wedding day.

From the moment I saw this place I fell in love! Not only from the beauty of the event center, ceremony site and the house (gorgeous!!), but the staff and wedding coordinator Carla were a dream to work with. Sunflower Hill Farm is BEAUTIFUL! We toured a handful of wedding venues and I wasn't finding anything I LOVED... until we visited Sunflower Hill Farm.
The house was the perfect place for the girls (and guys) to get ready. The wrap around porch and Chip and Joanna-like feel of the house made BEAUTIFUL pictures. The outdoor ceremony space is simple, but gorgeous. The barn was so perfect for our wedding. It had just enough room for all of our guests, including some space outside. When a GIANT wind gust came through during our reception, the barn doors were easily closed and the rain that followed was no problem.
We were able to use some of Sunflower Hill Farm's decorations and they even helped us clean up the day after the wedding. All of the staff was super helpful and friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed and kept promises when there were some changes in staff.
SHF is up and coming, so there were a few little details that were missed. But, I'm sure after this year SHF will be one of the top wedding venues in the St. Louis area. I could not have dreamed of getting married anywhere else. It was perfect.
Sunflower Hill Farm is an incredible venue. Carla, Rob, Karen and the rest of the crew went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. They hopped on board with my vision and made themselves available for any questions and concerns throughout the whole process. Not only is the venue gorgeous but our guests were able to take full advantage of the farm from the ceremony site, bonfire pits, primary barn, beautiful brick verandas and yard space for games. We celebrated my mother-in-laws 90th birthday party at the Sunflower Hill Farm House!!! Everything was perfect and the staff made sure the day was awesome!! What a wonderful event space for weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, reunions, really any celebration! I strongly recommend this venue!

My family attended the Sunflower Hill Farm's Mother's Day Brunch and I couldn't have been more impressed. The setting was stunning, the food was absolutely fabulous, the entertainment was great, but it was the friendliness of the staff that made this an amazing day. We recently used Sunflower Hill Farm for our engagement photos. Let me tell you this, the entire property is PERFECTION! Every detail is adorable, and they have left nothing out. The staff was amazing and so accommodating when it came to scheduling everything. I would give it 10/10 stars if possible- beyond adorable!
