Event Sales Manager
Jacey earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Grand Valley State University in April 2025. She’s been part of the RedWater team for several years, growing within the company and gaining hands-on experience in both guest service and event planning. Her time at RedWater has given her a deep understanding of the company’s day-to-day operations, as well as its strong culture and dedication to delivering memorable experiences. Outside of work, Jacey enjoys working out, exploring new places, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Madison Larson
Event Sales Manager
Madison is a 2017 Grand Valley State University graduate who recently returned to Grand Rapids after spending six years in the fast-paced Chicago events market. She is excited to bring her industry experience and passion for event planning to the RedWater team, where she is focused on creating personalized, memorable, and seamless experiences for clients. Believing that authentic connection produces the best results, Madison enjoys getting to know her clients during the planning process. Outside of work, Madison enjoys cheering on the Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs, experimenting in the kitchen, spending time with family, and exploring local breweries with friends.
Sarah Schaeffer
Event Sales Manager
Sarah began her career in event planning while attending Kuyper College, working at a nearby ski resort. Her passion for the food and beverage industry persisted, leading her to spend the next two decades working in both food and beverage and event planning roles, including a decade-long tenure at Boatwerks Restaurant. In January of 2023, she joined Watermark’s team as an Event Sales Manager. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys visiting her children, who are stationed in different states, traveling, boating, camping, and practicing her golf skills.
Haley Kolb
Event Sales Manager
Haley obtained her bachelor’s degree in hospitality and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Meetings & Event Management and a minor in business from Grand Valley State University in April 2023. She brings a variety of hospitality experiences to the team, including working at Watermark Country Club in 2022, where she provided exceptional service to members and groups at various events. Haley has also served in different roles for RedWater and was most recently a client services assistant for Conference and Event Planning at Grand Valley State University. Outside of work, Haley enjoys cooking, traveling to new places, fitness, and experiencing downtown Grand Rapids.

one vendor (venue, catering, bakery, and bar) and their team was very receptive and accommodating to special requests. We loved that they took care of the essentials like tables, chairs, linens, tableware, and even some centerpiece décor (mirrors, votives, table numbers), and that we could just leave at the end of the night while they handled clean up. They also helped coordinate with our other vendors (DJ and photography). It was an especially fun moment when the bartenders got into the music and danced with our glow sticks behind the bar! Overall, a beautiful, experienced venue that takes a lot of the coordinating stress off you while giving you the freedom to personalize your event.

hey (we worked with Vanessa to plan) always responded promptly and politely. They worked with us to order kegs of our favorite beer and had great buffet options to choose from. Our guests couldn't get over how great the after-dinner french fry bar was. Our event was their first indoor party since COVID and the whole day went very smoothly; we were so impressed by their servers and coordinators (thanks, Antoinette!), who took care of everything without a hitch and knew what I needed before I asked. It's a good price for the area, there's plenty of parking, and tons of indoor and outdoor space for people to mingle. There may be a lot of country club wedding venues out there, but Sunnybrook is a good one if you want your peace of mind!
