Excellent service ! I celebrated my daughters quinceañera , the cake was everything my daughter dreamed . She understood everything we wanted. I’m very thankful to have come across this wonderful lady. Cake itself was delicious, couple of my guests asked for more or to take some home . The wedding the decision came down to the flavor. And Creative Cakes was absolutely unbeatable. We took one bite at our tasting and knew there was no contest. The chocolate cake was rich but fluffy and light and the buttercream frosting and fillings were so creamy and perfectly sweet but not overwhelming. The tasting was a lot of fun. They give you an iPad full of sample designs (which was just fine for our simple idea) or will sketch out something special if you prefer. Then, we got a plate full of small squares of cake flavors and circles of each filling flavor. The set-up let us mix and match and decide on the perfect combination for our cake. The finished product was beautiful, so moist (even two days later) and delivery was smooth. We had our florist add greenery and flowers to the finished cake. My mother-in-law also ordered a groom's cake, beautifully decorated with the mascot of the groom's favorite team and other icing decorations, for our rehearsal dinner. Everyone raved about both cakes! I went to several bakeries before deciding on this one and it was one of the best decisions that I have made. I also needed a cake for my mother in law's 75th Birthday Brunch which was only a week away and they did a superb job on her cake. The cake was an exact match of the picture that I emailed to them and the 75 guests at the Brunch raved about the great taste. The staff was very friendly and helpful in selecting the flavor and filling. While I was there picking up the cake I decided to create a sweets table and their selection was great, I had plenty to choose from. Couldn't ask for a better experience! From our tasting to the delivery of the Sussys Cakes was professional, organized, friendly, and incredible at what they do. Our cake looked absolutely beautiful, and tasted even better! We did a layer of chocolate, white, and red velvet and every layer was amazingly delicious. I highly recommend them for special occasions or any event you are hosting that you need a special cake.

Sussy went above and beyond for us! We had already met with several bakers but something was missing. We almost didn't meet with Sussy because of a scheduling issue but she pulled it together at the last minute and blew us away with her array of delicious flavor combinations. Her sugar flower work stood out above everyone else's along with her attention to detail and genuine personality. What a great experience I had with Sussy's Cakes! I celebrated my 46th birthday with 40 plus women on a Tuesday night. I called Susana 5 days before the actual event date and got an incredible customer service. She listened and worked with me to produce a cake that was within my budget. It was beautiful, but most importantly, delicious! I highly recommend Susy's Cakes. I'm planning to use them for Christmas and my son's birthday party, which is coming soon.

I recently got married and my friend recommended Sussy's Cakes, and I am so glad she did! We went for a tasting to her house and we love all the fillings . Selecting Sussy's Cakes is by far the best decision we could have made! Family gatherings mean a lot to us, and ensuring everybody has a good time is very important. It took some time to find the perfect catering service for the big day, but it definitely paid off! From the samples she provided, to the picture books, to the examples of her designs and technique, we knew we made the right choice. The cake's perfect balanced taste was amazing! My husband and I were looking for a quinceañera cake for my daughter birthday and a friend referred Sussy's Cake. She is a very nice person and an excellent professional. She helped us decide the design, the flavor, the filling, the color. etc. according with the theme and the party room decoration. We had the idea but she did much better. Finally the cake was not only moist and delicious, but beautiful and elegant. We would absolutely go back again and we will recommend it greatly. Susana is a real artist, thank you.

My wedding cake exceeded my expectations. Since the first moment Susy knew what I want. Susy's inspiration doesn't have price. I keep memorable memories for this moment. The cake was delicious and beautiful and something very important is the affordable price. Simply recommendable.

Loved loved loved Sussy's Cakes! It was 2-3 months before the wedding and the groom and I had not made any concrete decisions about the cake (should we do specialty cupcakes? Go big? Use flour alternatives? Chocolate?). Luckily, a friend referred us to Suzzy's Cakes. Upon our first meeting, Susanna had several cakes and fillings ready for us to try as she knew we were undecided on flavor. She had both the regular flavors - dark chocolate, red velvet, vanilla - as well as bolder flavors such as dulce de leche, guava, blood orange, and passion fruit available so that she could gauge which direction we wanted to go with . From there, she patiently listened to us describe our ideas for the cake and wedding and she provided several suggestions based on her expertise. Not once did I feel like she was trying to upsell her products. As a matter of fact, upon seeing my bridesmaids dresses, she suggested adding flowers to match the pattern of the dresses, and it turned out great. She even incorporated a ruffle design which I found online the day of our meeting and wanted to incorporate into my cake. Mind you, my wedding was in August and even though we had made the request within such a short time span, she didn't seem bothered at all by the time crunch and made it work around her pre-existing orders from other clients. However, I don't suggest you push it like we did - we might have been saved by the grace of the referral. The wedding was in MD and despite the extraordinary traffic from VA/DC to MD that day, she arrived with the cake within the vendor set-up time period. Highly recommend! Oh, and the cake was both beautiful and delicious. We ended up going with chocolate layers separated by dulce de leche filing.

Our wedding cake tasted delicious! We selected a moist cake with dry fruits, nuts and rum. We requested a sheet of cake that was delivered directly to our venue. My family has ordered cakes with designs and they look great, always provide a professional service and the cakes taste delicious. Highly recommend for any type of cake design and flavor.

Great service and great flavor! I've been greatly looking forward to my quinceañera cake for my daughter, I was planning on visiting some five different bakeries. However, we went to Sussy's first, and there our search pretty much ended. She asked us to choose a few flavors, and brought out three huge slices of cake with the different fillings we had chosen as our tasting. Her cake was moist and light, her fillings creamy and delicious, and she had the best frosting I've ever tasted, it was absolutely delicious. I only wish I'd gotten to eat more! Sussy herself is very sweet and easy to work with, and will decorate the cake however you like, including accommodating any unique cake toppers you may have. A great choice! We chose Sussy's Cakes after seeing and tasting one of her cakes at a wedding we attended last year, and we could not have made a better choice. I can honestly say that our wedding cake was one of the highlights of our wedding day, and all of our guests could not stop taking pictures and raving about how extraordinary it came out.
