Tamar C Makeup

I cannot recommend Tamar C makeup enough! I hired them to do my (the bride's) makeup, my mother, mother in law and 5 bridesmaids hair and makeup. They were so quick in getting everyone ready while delivering superior quality skills. Everyone loved their hair and makeup and looked like perfection. The best part was it stayed in place all day/night long! I received so many compliments from guests on how good my glam team was. You cannot go wrong with hiring Tamar's team!

It was such a pleasure to work with Tamar and Hunar for my wedding day hair and makeup!They did the bride’s (me), 6 bridesmaids’, and 2 mothers’ makeup and hair in a timely manner without feeling rushed. They ensured everyone was looking and feeling their best- everyone was so happy with their final look. Hunar was able to deliver beautiful various hairstyles from updos, half ups and all down. Tamar gave me recommendation for wedding day lipsticks and answered any questions I had leading up to the day. She also delivered beautiful make up looks for all the women, working really well with different skin types and complexions. As the bride, I was nervous about my hair and make up but Tamar and Hunar made me look and feel so beautiful at our trial and then on the actual wedding day. Tamar made my skin look flawless and glowy without looking caked in person and I opted to change my hair from the trial which Hunar executed beautifully on my wedding day. I was even caught in the rain on my wedding day but none of the guests could tell because my hair and makeup held up so nicely. I would definitely recommend Tamar C makeup to any brides looking for hair and make up artists!

I absolutely loved my wedding day look that Tamar put together for me - natural and gorgeous but not overwhelmingly dramatic - I felt like a (much more) beautiful version of myself! Tamar and her team were amazing - reasonably priced, super friendly, very accommodating - and they brought such a great energy for me and my bridal party (8 bridesmaids and 2 mothers) the morning of the wedding. We finished early and everything went smoothly. Later one of my bridesmaids confessed that my wedding was the first wedding she's ever actually liked her hair and makeup look. Could not recommend enough!

I hired Tamar without doubt since many of my mutual friends have used her and all had amazing results. Mine was no different! She was the first vendor I hired and did so without hesitation. Trial of my dreams!! I cannot be more obsessed with Tamar. I had a trial with another hair and makeup artist that did *not* go to plan and I was so panicked about finding someone who would understand what I wanted and deliver. Then I found Tamar and she was literally a dream come true from the beginning! What I really loved about my time with her was how involved she made me from the beginning and her attention to detail. She used products and techniques I know and love, and made me so comfortable as we planned out my look. She never rushed, and made me feel like a priority to her. At the end I literally looked just like my Pinterest inspiration board! I cannot wait to have Tamar with me on my wedding day. She is fun, energetic, kind, and such a professional. RUN, don’t walk, to book her!! You won’t regret it.

Tamar C and her crew literally made magic happen on my wedding day! I absolutely loved my makeup and felt stunning all night. Not only were they extremely professional, but they were fun and helpful as well. Would recommend them to anyone for any occasion and will definitely be using them again :)

Tamar's team is amazing! Claribel did everyone's makeup so quickly and made everyone feel gorgeous! I was stressed about how dry my skin was (a bit flaky, which is NEVER good), but Claribel worked some kind of magic and my skin wasn't flaky and the makeup looked amazing. It stayed all night, through hours of dancing and an after party! Erica did everyone's hair and was so accommodating! My mom changed her mind twice while Erica was doing her hair, and she went with the flow! Everyone's hair looked great and like the makeup, stayed in place through hours and hours of fun!

I used Tamar for my wedding makeup and for all of my bridesmaids in October. She was absolutely amazing!! She is so talented and my makeup was fantastic. She also did a phenomenal job with all of my bridesmaids. She was able to make them all have a very similar look but still make sure each of their makeup complemented them perfectly. I couldn't recommend her enough!!

Tamar and her team were fabulous!! I used Tamar and her team for my wedding hair and makeup. Prior to my wedding day, Tamar was very responsive to questions that came up and was very organized. Tamar, Kayla and Erica arrived right on time on wedding day and were so efficient at doing everyone's hair and makeup. There were 8 people to do makeup for and 11 people to do hair for, yet they were able to finish everyone ahead of schedule and everyone looked great! My bridesmaids were commenting on how much they loved their finished looks. As for my bridal look, I could not have asked for anything better. I was my cousin’s maid-of-honor in 2018 and loved how Tamar and her team did our bridal party makeup so I knew I just had to book her once I got engaged! After having to postpone our big wedding celebration due to the pandemic, my fiancé and I decided to get married on our original date — 10/10/2020 — in a more intimate ceremony with just our families. Tamar was unavailable but was super helpful in ensuring I was in good hands. Claribel did an amazing job — both at my trial and at the micro-ceremony — and I got so many compliments. As someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, she listened to my needs and made sure I looked beautiful and bridal, but still felt like myself. Throughout this whole process, Tamar has been wonderful to work with and has been super flexible, understanding, and accommodating as we worked to figure out rescheduling our event. I would definitely recommend her for your special day!! I feel super lucky to get to work with her team of talented makeup artists again this upcoming June for our “sequel wedding” — this time, I’ll get to have all my bridesmaids by my side. I can’t wait to see all of them glammed up too :)

I used Tamar for my wedding hair and makeup. Her team did a wonderful job. Everyone was extremely happy with how it turned out. The girls arrived early to set up and we were finished ahead of schedule giving us plenty of time to get photos before the ceremony. I also had a lot of changes due to Covid restrictions and she was so understanding and helpful. I would definitely recommend and use again!

Wow- I am beyond impressed by Tamar C Makeup! Tamar was quick to respond to all of my questions and provided an amazing MOA last minute when my previously hired MOA cancelled. Claribel listened to me- and my bridal party- so well and everyone said that their make up was the best it’s ever looked! I cried during the ceremony, but not a drop of make up moved! I was shocked. My make up looked perfect throughout the entire night. Overall- great communication, amazing skills, and exceptional professionalism. I would choose Tamar’s team over and over!

Such beautiful hair & makeup! I was so thrilled at how everything turned out for myself, 5 bridesmaids, and my mom for my wedding. Sonia literally read my mind on small tweaks I wanted to do between my hair trial and day-of and Hunar managed to wonderfully cover all of my redness and acne scars, which I was REALLY worried about on my wedding day. They picked up on the vibe easily and was able to create cohesive, but unique hair & makeup for everyone. Not to mention, they were so efficient that we were ahead of schedule for the day which really helped ease the stress of keeping on schedule. Would recommend!!!

Tamar was fantastic. She was responsive to my questions and provided me a quote with very reasonable rates compared to other hair/makeup artists. She was flexible as my plans changed a bit due to COVID. Prior to the wedding she was helpful in helping me figure out what kind of "looks" I should go with--as someone not versed in hair/makeup lingo, this was very helpful. On the day of my wedding she and the other artist were prompt, friendly, and wearing masks! Everyone's hair and makeup stayed looking beautiful all day. Tamar also gave great instructions for making sure we knew how to insert/remove my veil without messing up the hairstyle! I would definitely recommend Tamar to my friends getting married in DC!

Tamar did a fantastic job! She was so easy to work with during the whole process. She and her co-associated did the bride's, maid of honor, my mom, and grandma's hair. Everyone looked lovely. They were were punctual and finished with a bit of time to spare. I especially appreciated that Tamar brought an extra person just to make sure we were all ready in time. Overall, Tamar made everyone look their best and we truly enjoyed the experience!

Tamar and her team are amazing!!! From day one, Tamar was so awesome at communicating with me about my vision and making helpful suggestions. I was amazed by how efficient she and her team were for both the trial and the wedding. Her team flawlessly put together 9 very complicated up dos and 4 make up looks all within four hours. I can’t even tell you how nice it was to get to sleep in on my wedding day!! At the end of the night and lots of happy tears, I still looked and felt amazing, you can’t even tell which pictures were taken at the end or start of the evening. I never felt caked on or overdone, but also certainly not bare faced. I highly recommend Tamar!!

Tamar is AMAZING!

I cannot recommend Tamar highly enough! My husband and I cancelled our large October 2020 wedding and decided to have an intimate wedding at the last minute. Tamar was so helpful! I had her colleague Hunar for my morning hair/makeup and Tamar for my evening hair/makeup. They were both AMAZING! Both were super professional, so nice and did a phenomenal job. I would absolutely hire them both again without hesitation!

It has been so fun working with Tamar. Given we are rescheduling from 2020 to 2021 due to COVID, she has been nothing but accommodating, compassionate, and reasonable during this tough time. We are excited to continue to work with her!

Tamar was absolutely wonderful! She and her teammate showed up on time and did an outstanding job with our hair and makeup. I did not end up doing a trial but had some pictures saved of what I wanted for hair and makeup, and they did an outstanding job and I was so happy with how it turned out. I have very thick hair and sometimes when I have had up-dos the hair sticks out the side and I look like princess Lea, but they did a great job and it came out perfectly. Some of the bridal party did not know what they wanted to and they took the time to ask questions and think of something that worked perfectly for those individuals. They were so pleasant and fun to work with, and also understanding of some of the chaos going around with kiddos running around and all the general wedding morning craziness. I could not recommend Tamar more!

Tamar is amazing! My engagement photoshoot got rescheduled last minute and my current makeup artist was unavailable. I reached out to Tamar via her website off of the recommendation from my friend who used Tamar for her wedding. Tamar responded right away, and despite my shoot being on a Saturday, was able to send someone from her team to my house at 6:30 am! Hunar did my hair and makeup and she was amazing. I wanted a natural but enhanced look so I would look like myself in pictures, and Hunar delivered. I would highly recommend to work with them!! Thank you again!!

I am obsessed with my makeup from my wedding day! I had one of the Senior Stylists Claribel do it and she was so great. She completely captured the look I was going for and it lasted all night. All of my bridesmaids looked stunning and are still raving about the makeup. I can't thank them enough so creating the most gorgeous looks!
