I hired Taylor nearly 1 year before my May 2022 wedding. I’ve gone back and forth on whether or not to write a review, and after much thought, I decided to do so. Taylor was very friendly on our introductory call and had an extremely fun and outgoing personality. I ultimately chose to work with her because of her personality and experience she spoke of during this call. She also helped me with the day-of-wedding timeline which was beyond helpful. Day of wedding, Taylor brought a calm energy and worked great with the videographer that was alongside her. All of this said, the issues arose after my wedding on May 14th: It was required that the full amount be paid before the wedding date. So, Taylor had full payment. A signed contract stated that pictures would be delivered within 90 days of the wedding. After about a month and a half post-wedding date, I emailed Taylor to ask if she perhaps had a “sneak peak” of our photos or an ETA of delivery because we/family & friends were eager and excited to see them. No response. Figuring she was busy with her wedding season, I waited 1 month to follow-up and ask again, which by then was 1-week from the 90 day deadline. She got back to me letting me know she’d provide the photos that week. She didn’t send them. So yet again, I had to email her twice without a response. After the 3rd attempt, Taylor finally got back to me letting me know personal issues had taken over and she was going to be editing my pictures that weekend and deliver. She hadn’t even started to work on a wedding that was over 3 months past! Were the pictures delivered on the 2nd promised date? No. My final email attempt laying out my concern and disappointment was met with a highly unprofessional and rude response from Taylor, even saying “Your gallery was only 9 days late”. Most of the pictures delivered were great and matched the aesthetic shown on Taylor’s social media. However, it was obvious she rushed through selecting and editing the photos. If you have personal matters that come up and you’re a business owner, let your clientele know so they can be empathetic rather than leaving your paying customers worried and in the dark. Especially if you have their money and you’re not delivering what they paid for within the timeline you are contractually obligated to abide by. I would not recommend Taylor as a wedding photographer. It is disappointing to know that the exciting experience of having pictures delivered so you can relive one of the most important days of your life was tainted by a rude “professional”.
