The Abbey Salisbury

The Abbey is truly a gem of a wedding venue and made our vision for the big day come to life! Everything the venue took care of from the decor to the day of coordination made the day so low stress and smooth. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at The Abbey the weekend of September 16th and the compliments from our family and friends are still flowing in! If the tour of the property, value in their packages, and amazing staff wasn’t enough of a selling point all of my other vendors had glowing reviews themselves of working at The Abbey. I’ll recommend and thank them for the experience time and time again!

My husband and I were married at The Abbey earlier this month, and we had an amazing experience! The venue is gorgeous, and the included amenities are amazing. Everything from the bridal suite to the reception area was absolutely stunning. The staff was amazing - very attentive! The venue coordinator changed about halfway through our process, but Jacqui, the new coordinator, didn’t miss a beat. Truly, she is the reason that our day went so well! We recently got married in The Abbey Salisbury and we couldn't be any happier! We knew we wanted a traditional venue for the ceremony as well as a reception area close by. As soon as we walked in for the tour, I fell in love with the place. Alison, Lori, and the rest of the staff did an AMAZING job making our vision come to life and there are just no words to say how thankful we are that they made our day even more special. The team took care of us from the beginning of the planning process up until we left as husband and wife. Our guests loved the staff and the venue as much as we did so that is just icing on the cake.

We loved getting married at the Abbey!! The staff is so helpful and available to make the day everything you hope it will be. Choosing our custom decor prior to our wedding date was so special and looked beautiful. The venue itself is so charming and has both the traditional and modern feel with the ceremony/reception areas. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue!

My husband and I got married at The Abbey in February 2023. We chose The Abbey because of it’s beauty and close location to hotels and access to Ubers for our guests. It was important to us for our guests to not have to drink and drive. We met with Alison who is absolutely wonderful! She gave us a tour of the entire venue. We booked and started planning. Alison was on her A Game the entire time. She had recommendations for caterers, DJ services, and so on. She also had a spreadsheet/timeline to help us all stay organized. She touched base with us frequently and also responded quickly when we had any questions. About a month before the wedding, we met with Alison and Lori(the owner of the venue) to discuss, plan and design our wedding day decor and layout. We were not very caught up in the details so it was so helpful to have them both there, helping us design how we wanted our wedding to look. Our wedding ran so smoothly. There were no issues. Alison and her team made it all perfect! They coordinated everything for us from the arrival, getting ready, first look photos, to preparing our things at the end of the night. They had everything lined up on a table for us that needed to go to a car. We were out of there so easily and quickly at the end of the night. My husband and I stayed onsite at the Airbnb that night. It is a beautiful place. Everything was so clean and spacious. Alison and her team had our personal belongings there waiting for us. Also, I want to add that mine and my daughters feet were killing us so Alison sent someone to the bridal suite to get my slippers and their crocs so we could dance comfortably the rest of the night. Alison also held onto my personal belongings and cell phone and provided it to me and recorded some special moments for me at my request. She also got us some food and drinks from cocktail hour while we were taking photos. Oh and she provided some trays/platters for us that we needed. And got us a wheelchair for my 94 year old grandmother. She is amazing! If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a single thing! This was both of our’s second weddings/marriages so to have someone spend so much time and pay attention to detail and make it go so effortlessly was worth every single penny. This venue and staff deserves more than 5 stars!

The Abbey sealed the deal on making all my dreams come true. My husband and I really wanted a chapel wedding that felt traditional and the abbey provided that atmosphere. But by far the staff was the best. Each of them made our big day as perfect as can be. Allison was a saving grace. She is so detail oriented that the day ran a smooth as possible. I loved how flexible her and the staff were, knowing that nothing is ever perfect, we were all able to adjust and keep rolling without skipping a beat. The decorations for the big day were perfect. The staff were so swift about setting up and tear down. It all felt so stress free. I would choose The abbey a hundreds times over if I was promised the same staff. Neither of us were from Salisbury but the travels were completely worth it for a dream wedding that felt traditional and intimate. I am still in awe with how dreamy our day was.

My husband and I were married at The Abbey on November 12, 2022 and had the most amazing experience! We couldn’t have asked for a better team! Right from the beginning Alison took care of absolutely everything and made sure that I had nothing to worry about and could enjoy my day. I would recommend her and the team 1000 times over as they gave my new husband and I the wedding of our dreams!

Alison and her team were just amazing! The whole experience from start to finish was like a well oiled machine and we ended up with our dream day! I couldn't imagine a better venue or group of people to make your day the best that it can possibly be.

An absolute dream to work with! My husband and I just got married at The Abbey October 15, 2022 and we could not have asked for a better team to work with leading up to and on our big day. We opted to include the decor package and we are so glad we did! The Abbey decorated the ceremony and reception space for us and we did not have to lift a finger. Alison was our day-of-coordinator and she was so helpful and gave great ideas when it came down to planning out our day from start to finish. We talked for a little over an hour the week before to discuss all of our final details and make sure both her and I were on the same page. She was so sweet and so happy to help. Knowing she was in control allowed me to relax and enjoy the day rather than worrying over all of the small details. We are so thankful for all of the staff at The Abbey that helped make our day even more special and run so smoothly! I cannot say enough positive things about this venue!

I cannot say enough positive things about the Abbey. The day we toured, I knew immediately that this was the place I wanted to get married. Alison and Lori made each detail of our wedding dream come to life. The day itself was truly magical and you can tell these ladies and their team know what they are doing! They pour so much love into the venue and were so accommodating to my entire wedding party, family etc. You did not have to worry about a thing, and as a bride, that took so much stress off my shoulders. They really took care of it all. The venue itself is breathtaking but the fact they offer a design package to decorate made the venue that much more appealing. They had all the décor I could have ever wanted, and our design consultation was so much fun! It was amazing to see all the small details we picked out in our venue the day of the wedding and it was perfect. If I could do it all over again, I would! I truly had the best experience at The Abbey and it will go down as one of the best days of my life!

My husband and I got married at this venue 2 weeks ago, and they are absolutely amazing! Our entire experience with them from our tour, to making our decision and then to our wedding day was better than we could have dreamed. They were a delight to work with. They continuously went above and beyond to help us plan and organize our day. Diana, the wedding coordinator, was very professional yet personal and had often already thought of and taken care of the questions or concerns that came to my mind. We both would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue in the area.

This past August 2021 we had our wedding reception at the Abbey. Diana and the staff were so helpful and nice. They made everything so easy and made it a special day. The venue and decor was beautiful. The guests also loved the coffee bar!

The absolute best venue there is !!!!! Everything was amazing!!!! The abbey is wonderful and made sure that my husband and I special day was past amazing! They made sure we did not want for anything , they took care of us and our guests, amazing level of professionalism, and the decor and set ups were beautiful!!!! I highly recommend the abbey of Salisbury! You will not be disappointed! And also, the decorations are included in the venue price , you can’t beat that at all ! I can go on forever about the abbey and the staff, but I’ll let you guys experience it yourself ! Please book them !

The Abbey was the best place I could have chosen for my wedding day! Not only was it beautiful, but the staff was AMAZING. I did not feel stressed or overwhelmed one time on my wedding day because they took care of everything from setting up decorations to distributing the sparklers at the end. I especially loved it because its such a lovely church and then on the bottom floor there is an amazing room for the reception. It was such a gift to get married here!! I wish I could do this day again.

This is an incredible venue, totally unique in its entirety. From its great location in downtown to its beautiful interiors, I loved everything about this venue. I am a photographer, and I had the pleasure of getting to shoot all over this venue, and in my personal opinion it was amazing. Lori and her team go all out on the details of this venue, and I LOVE it!
