Originally from Topeka, KS, Chloe earned her business degree from Washburn University before moving to Kansas City in 2021 with her husband, Trevor, a KC native. Chloe’s journey into venue management began while planning her own wedding. After touring The Bardot and falling in love with the space, she not only found the perfect venue for her wedding but also discovered a passion for the industry. Now, Chloe channels that passion into creating unforgettable events for others. When she's not busy managing venues, she enjoys reading, attending concerts, and spending quality time with her husband and their cats.
- Rachel FletcherVenue Sales ManagerMeet Rachel Fletcher, our dynamic and visionary Venue Sales Manager. Originally from Atlanta, she moved to the Midwest to study Strategic Communications at the University of Kansas, graduating from the renowned William Allen White School of Journalism. With a background in sales, marketing, and event planning, Rachel brings both strategy and creativity to everything she does. She’s passionate about building relationships and creating events that feel intentional and effortless. Outside of her role here, Rachel is the founder of All Live, a culinary and events company that celebrates the beauty of gathering. Whether she’s curating an event or designing a menu, she brings heart and purpose to every detail.
- Noah SweeneyVenue Sales ManagerNoah is our Venue Sales Manager and a proud Kansas City native, originally from Blue Springs. He studied Events Marketing & Management at the University of Central Missouri, where he gained hands-on experience planning, promoting, and executing events. Before joining our team, he worked in nonprofit marketing and communications across the arts, tourism, and social services sectors. Noah is a people person through and through—he loves building connections and making others smile. He brings warmth, creativity, and attention to detail to every event he works on. When he’s not at the venue, you can find him exploring Kansas City with friends or checking out a new concert.

Booking the Bardot for our weddings was one of the best decisions we made. The space is absolutely beautiful and provides a number of unique features such as the basement speakeasy and a stunning chandelier on the main floor. The space looked spectacular when it was fully set up and had plenty of restrooms. The location is perfect as it is within walking distance to a number of downtown hotels. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Chole was an absolute dream to work with. She was kind, helpful and provided clear communication. Wedding planning can be a bit stressful but choosing the Bardot will make it significantly easier.

The venue speaks for itself, but something you never know is how the staff is going to be. Adrianna was my point of contact throughout the whole process with The Bardot and she was amazing to work with. She was so so kind and her communication from day one was top tier. She was also so so helpful and went above and beyond to make my day perfect. She answered my 1000 questions, walked me through anything I was questioning, and provided me with vendor recommendations.
The day of, her and her staff were on top of everything. From setting up, to room flip, to cleaning up, they moved so efficiently. They made sure everything was perfect for our special day. I had multiple guests comment on how beautiful the venue was (OBVISOULY!), but they also commented on how well structured the staff and bartenders were, too.
My whole experience from start to finish with The Bardot was nothing short of amazing!

Adrianna, Sam, and Veronica were our main points of contact throughout our wedding planning process with The Bardot. We were so impressed with all three of them. They were all kind, efficient, easy to work with and communicated quickly with all of our questions and requests. The Bardot is truly a dream venue. The three levels with the rooftop, main reception hall, and downstairs cocktail hour speakeasy truly creates a different vibe on every floor. My wedding vision came to life in this space and I will never forget walking in and seeing how beautiful everything was on our wedding day. I was so happy with the way our reception turned out and so appreciate all of the awesome team members at The Bardot!

The space speaks for itself, but the staff at The Bardot were wonderful as well! Veronica and Kalea were quick communicators and accommodating to our various needs and requests. They played a key role in helping us have the perfect day and had multiple meetings to walk through everything with us and our coordinator. Our families were out of town and Veronica was extremely flexible to help us find a time to do a walk through with them, which they appreciated so much! The Bardot staff had the place looking wonderful for the big day and helped accommodate our needs throughout the process. We had a 150-person wedding and the space felt perfect for that size. We recommend using The Bardot, or any of the Abbot Events spaces. They were awesome to work with and are beautiful spaces to get married in KC!

Veronica, the venue manager, is an absolute dream to work with. She is so so kind, responsive, and a wiz at making everything come together. The Bardot is expensive in terms of KC venues, but they are transparent from day 1 giving you a complete breakdown of costs, which I loved. The venue is gorgeous with a rooftop, ballroom, and speak easy. The bartenders were great and the facilities were immaculate. Our guest list ended up being half of what we invited and I worried it would feel too big, but Veronica came up with the best layout that made everything fit perfectly for our numbers. The location is amazing in the heart of KC and walkable to Loew's hotel. I toured I think 10 venues with the Bardot being the first. It was the easiest selection and you won't regret it. Can't wait to get pictures back!

First of all, the venue is absolutely beautiful! We had tons of compliments from our guests about how wonderful the venue was. We had no issues arise with the venue and they were really great to work with. Veronica from The Bardot answered all of our questions and the coordination of the venue was executed perfectly and just as we had discussed before the wedding. I have zero complaints and would 100% recommend The Bardot!

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed having our wedding at The Bardot. First of all, Veronica is amazing and is quick to respond to any questions that come up. The venue speaks for itself- we fell in love with the space the moment we toured. The basement is an awesome speak easy type space great for cocktail hour and the rooftop has an amazing view of downtown KC. The venue did not need much decor because it’s so pretty on its own. I hope we get to attend another wedding at The Bardot just to hang out there again for a few more hours.

Our family checked out several wedding venues in Kansas City and we knew the moment we walked through the front doors of The Bardot that it was the one! Veronica was our venue coordinator and she was the icing on the cake. She was so friendly and patient, answering emails promptly, listening to our concerns and making suggestions along the way. She made sure every detail was addressed. Our daughter’s wedding ceremony was on the main floor, and cocktail hour was on the rooftop while the main room was being flipped for the reception. The ease of the transition was flawless. The bartenders and servers were very professional and we had comments from the guests who remarked on how friendly and accommodating the entire staff was. The reception was set up perfectly and the venue exceeded all our expectations! Cheers to The Bardot!

The Bardot exceeded my dream wedding expectations. The venue aesthetic speaks for itself, but the team behind the scenes was even more amazing. We had such a great planning and day-of experience with our venue manager, Veronica. She was a rockstar. If you plan on having both your ceremony and reception here take advantage of the rooftop for your ceremony location - you won't regret those city views!

From the moment I saw the renderings of what the Bardot was going to look like I knew it was exactly where I wanted to have our wedding. The staff at the Bardot has been incredible! We had to reschedule twice due to COVID and they were more than gracious to work with us to make sure we got the day we wanted. They worked with us so much to make sure that the full day was perfect including coordinating with our other vendors and making sure we had everything we needed to just enjoy the day. The venue was absolutely stunning, it made decorating it so easy because it almost needs nothing. We did our ceremony on the main floor, then cocktail hour down stairs while they flipped the main floor to the reception dinner and dance floor. Everything went so smoothly, the team was so polished and quick. The bartenders did a fantastic job keeping our guests happy. Booking the Bardot was the best decision we made for our wedding. 100% would recommend, I can't tell you how happy you will be that you booked this formal, intimate and comfortable space.

The most beautiful venue in town! When searching for our reception venue, I knew we HAD to tour The Bardot. It was the first venue we looked at and after taking one step into the space, I was sold. It is breathtaking. We had no issues with booking or communication and we received so many compliments during our reception about how beautiful the venue was. I would book The Bardot 10,000 times over. <3

The Bardot was the very first venue that we toured and we could not stop talking about it's beauty. As we continued our search, we kept comparing every other venue to The Bardot and knew it was the perfect place for us! Everything about this space, the chandeliers, gold accents, chic bar, speakeasy basement, and rooftop views, were so classic and elegant. The best place for the best day! Veronica was also amazing to work with and easily accessible for any questions you may have. She is there to help in any way and made the whole process stress-free. Highly recommend!

Amazing from the moment we walked in a year ago until the end of the evening of our daughters wedding.
Veronica is wonderful to work with. We might need to go visit her so we don’t miss her.

As soon as we walked in, I know The Bardot was going to be our venue. It is SO beautiful and the people were so great to work with. It was the perfect space for our wedding ceremony and reception and have so many different spaces to utilize within one venue was so nice. Getting to work with Veronica was a dream and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue or company to work with on our wedding day.

Mother of the bride review. The entire process was a well oil machine - answered every question (some more than once). We worked with Veronica and she was very responsive and helpful. The venue itself was exactly what the bride was looking for - very elegant. Love the chandelier and white brick walls. Extremely convenient to have the wedding and reception in one place, ideal for guests and wedding party. A night to remember.

A wedding venue, and team, that will surpass every expectation you ever had! The Bardot gives so much versatility to your wedding day - the rooftop ceremony and cocktail hour options, the speakeasy cocktail lounge and the stunning ballroom with the most amazing chandeliers! The Bardot ladies were so helpful throughout the entire process. We had to postpone our wedding and they were understanding and made our dream wedding happen a year later. Every second of our day was perfect from the ceremony, to the room switch, to the reception. The space is stunning and doesn’t need a lot of decor to be absolutely beautiful. We loved having another space downstairs to host cocktail hour while our room was switched. Also, the rooftop made for BEAUTIFUL pictures. Couldn’t recommend a better team or space to get married!

Our wedding at The Bardot turned out to be everything that we wanted and so much more! The venue is beautiful and the finishes are top notch. The chandeliers are sparkling showstoppers! There are so many different spaces that make it versatile to use throughout the day. We used the bridal suite for getting ready, the lower level lounge for first looks, and then took pictures on the rooftop. Not only did we use The Bardot for our cocktail hour and reception but also our ceremony. If you can’t tell, we absolutely loved The Bardot and wanted to spend as much time as possible at our wedding venue. Veronica was so helpful and always willing to talk through details. Everyone was so professional and everything went according to plan.
We had a pretty intricate set up with lots of moving pieces. But everything was coordinated in a perfect way that allowed them to pull off a quick room flip. We were so impressed with how fast they were able to pull it off. When we walked back upstairs for a sneak peak of the reception, we were blown away that the space was completely transformed into what seemed like an entirely different space.
The bar and bartending services were great. We even had two signature cocktails and it did not slow them down at all.
Unfortunately, we had to move our original wedding date but The Bardot and Abbott Events Team made a very difficult decision, easy. They were accommodating, easy to work with, and quick to help us plan the wedding we always wanted.
We would definitely recommend The Bardot - it was perfect!

As a fellow vendor (and someone who is in and out of KC wedding venues on a weekly basis) I can tell you that The Bardot is one of my top favorite venues! This place is STUNNING and will literally take your breath away. The romantic esthetic paired with modern touches allow you to come come and create the wedding of your dreams. The staff are amazing to work with, care deeply for their clients and have not left even the smallest detail unattended in this venue. I would absolutely recommend this venue for your wedding or event- it truly is KC's best!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at The Bardot!! The venue is absolutely gorgeous.
We couldn’t ask for better people to help us plan and host our wedding during covid. Veronica and the staff always made themselves available, quick to respond to all of our questions and concerns, and open to negations when changes occurred so often during covid. Veronica and the staff even helped us submit our risk-mitigation plan to the health department, which wasn’t an easy task. We couldn’t of asked for a better wedding! Thanks so much!!

It’s hard to find words to describe how incredible The Abbott Events team truly is. Every time I met with them, they made me feel as if my wedding was the most important and special event they had on their calendar. The dedication and knowledge they have for creating a successful event experience for EVERY client is unmatched. The second I left my tour at The Bardot - I knew it was the perfect atmosphere and space for our big day! On top of that, the staff was so genuine and excited for US! They wanted to create the most incredible and one of a kind experience. Seeing them so passionate about helping plan the wedding of my dreams just reassured me every step of the way!
