Formerly an art gallery, the building has been thoughtfully converted into a premier event facility. The venue is owned by The Susquehanna Chef, a local catering company, that delights in sharing their passion for special celebrations with couples in their community.
Upon arriving at The Barn at Boone's Dam, you will find landscaped grounds and stunning scenery, setting an enchanting tone for your big day. A beautiful barn sits at the heart of the serene property, consisting of an indoor space that can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests. Inside, the dedicated ceremony area is at the base of a grand staircase, allowing for breathtaking entrances. No matter what season you're celebrating in, you and your guests will be able to enjoy the barn's wrap-around, second-story deck. A fire pit area with wooden swings and benches is also available for your use. Alternatively, your wedding can take place entirely in the open air. The venue's staff would be happy to set up a tent that fits up to 250 loved ones for your momentous occasion. The idyllic setting also offers endless wedding photo opportunities. The barn is surrounded by sloping hills, a butterfly garden, a picturesque pond, and more for you to use as your backdrop.
When booking The Barn at Boone's Dam, you and your partner can choose from several wedding packages. Each option includes up to five hours of venue hire, a cocktail hour, a wedding cake, and banquet coordination. Event essentials such as tables, chairs, china, glassware, and linens can be provided by the venue. The Susquehanna Chef catering team would also be more than happy to create a custom wedding menu inspired by classic recipes and innovative flavors. What's more, the versatile culinary staff has experience preparing dishes for an array of dietary requirements. For the convenience of you and your guests, unlimited parking is also available.

h was a huge support the entire time. The food was amazing and the venue's vibes were exactly what we wanted. We specifically wanted a venue that came with food mostly for our own sanity in terms of juggling vendors.
We were a little apprehensive, but as soon as we stepped out of the car during our first tour, a beautiful well maintained long haired cat walked right up to us and I knew that if they put that much care into their animals they would put that much care towards us. (The cats do get put away for the wedding itself and they do not go inside the venue)

that you could dream of! And if you have your own decorations, you give her the items and the vision and she makes it happen! The staff was very friendly and attentive (shoutout to my girl, Sage), going above and beyond to make sure the bridal party was taken care of. Not to mention the food was incredible- Chef Patrick is AMAZING. Every food item ( Hors d'oeuvres, 3 entrees, cake, cupcakes and late night pizzas) was delicious and the cake and cupcakes were beautiful.
Ruth was easy to get ahold of and never let me feel like a bother when I would contact her to ask questions or clarify something when the nerves started to kick in.
Overall, I highly recommend booking this venue. Ruth, Chef Patrick and their team are kind, efficient and fun to work with. 10/10 would book again!

Venue is very beautiful but be cautious. You don’t get to do any food or cake tasting other than what is offered at their open house once a year in April with all the other brides ...
and grooms. You can email the owner as many times as you would like but I only met her in person twice through out the entire wedding planning process. Our final meeting the week of our wedding, I asked if non alcoholic drinks would be available for my guests before the ceremony and I was told yes. The day of, my father and mother went to get a soda before walking me down the aisle and they were declined. This made me extremely upset being told they would serve some drinks. We paid $100 for the lawn games just for them to put only corn hole out. We paid $100 to have the fire pit lit and they lit it 5 minutes before the rain was scheduled to start so no one got to enjoy that and we will not be reimbursed for that. Multiple people from our families and friends told us the venue is beautiful but reeked of cat pee. A couple weeks after our wedding, I went through our wedding decor to find out some of my flameless candles were not returned to me. I emailed the owner and she said she found them and told me I have to come there to get them. I told her I could not because I live over 2 hours away and I would need them mailed to me. I have still not received them and that was almost 2 months ago. I emailed the owner again multiple days ago about it with no response or indication that they even mailed them to me. Again, venue is very beautiful and so was our wedding. It really does tend to be the small things that put a damper on your wedding day.

mmendations for other local vendors, which was super helpful since we weren't from the area. They had so many different food options, which allowed us to put together options for everyone to enjoy. The open house held in the spring to try the food & cake, see the decorations, and meet various vendors was also great! For everything that was included and taken care of, the cost seemed too good to be true. The day of our wedding went so smooth! Ruth and her staff were so efficient, polite and just amazing. Our guests had nothing negative to say about the venue and staff. It was an amazing time and everything was set up beautifully! (I'm so disappointed I can't include photos with this review :( the barn & outdoor space were beautiful! Especially at night!)

The food is amazing, my guests could not stop talking about it and Ruth goes above and beyond to make sure there’s nothing to worry about on your big day but being your happiest and having the best time possible. 13 to September 5th, and Ruth worked with us and stayed in contact with us every step of the way. The venue is gorgeous, inside and out, and their food is absolutely incredible. The mini grilled cheese with tomato soup shots are a must have!!! We couldn’t be happier with how our wedding day went and are so grateful we chose the Barn at Boone’s Dam for our special day!
