Beautiful venue! The grounds are spacious and beautiful. Very centrally located yet still tucked away and peaceful. Cindy is great with communication. I would highly recommend!
We cannot say enough great things about this venue. Cindy and her team were absolutely amazing and so helpful throughout the entire process. Our wedding was a whirlwind but Cindy was always there to make sure we had everything we needed and was so supportive. That aside, the venue is gorgeous and we had so many compliments. My only regret is that I want to relive the entire night because it was so magical and perfect. Thank you for everything, we couldn't have picked a better setting for our most important day.
The Barn at Wolf Creek was a fabulous venue! Cindy, the owner, was great to work with and very accommodating. We had so many positive comments from our guests, and several asked how we found such a magical/beautiful venue. I told them "The Knot"!
Any questions?
The barn at wolf creek went beyond our expectations!! There aren’t words to describe how perfect the day went, and the pictures don’t capture the true beauty of the venue. We were married here on 6/4/2022 and could not have been happier with how everything turned out.
The venue is absolutely beautiful with flowers, plants and trees surrounding the grounds. They have a huge bridal suite, the grooms suite, the stunning barn, a covered deck and second lower deck for cocktail hour, plenty of yard space for yard games or kids to run around and a fire pit. We received so many compliments on the venue from our friends and family.
Cindy, the parking staff, the bar tenders, and onsite police office were all exceptional. Super friendly and fun to work with. Cindy went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly that day- she is a true professional and knows what she is doing.
We highly recommend having your wedding here! It was Perfect!!!!
Excellent Venue to have a wedding. Cindy, does an excellent job making this place so beautiful. Thank you, Cindy, for making this day so special for our daughter.
My son and new daughter-in-law got married at The Barn at Wolf Creek! We had a great day! The barn and grounds were beautiful and we were able to use the vintage barn furniture provided. We found the owners, staff and vendors all very helpful to make our day wonderful! Many guests commented on what a great place!! I highly recommend this venue!
Beautiful venue! Friendly atmosphere! Great bartenders! Fun dancing! The music was perfect inside the barn and we had an incredible celebration! Highly recommend!!
This was the most beautiful venue and everything was magical. I could not have asked for more. From getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite to saying our vows in front of a wooded back drop of stunning trees and greenery…everything was perfect! The barn made a beautiful space for our reception. It was rustic yet elegant. Our guests loved being able to spend time on the patios and enjoy the evening air! We spent the night dancing, drinking and celebrating with the people we love. It was perfect and I would recommend this venue to everyone! It’s a magical place.
My husband and I just got married here on 10/15/21 and we couldn't recommend this venue enough! The entire day went as smoothly as it could go thanks to Cindy and all of her staff. Cindy went above and beyond to make our day perfect and was so helpful and responsive through the entire planning process. The staff truly made our day as stress free as possible. One of the bartenders noticed our welcome sign mirror had fallen over and shattered, and she took matters into her own hands and re-drew a new sign and put it back up. Cindy also spent the day decorating the tree for our ceremony and checking in on me. This is truly the perfect spot for an outdoor ceremony with so many beautiful spots to capture your photos! Everything about this place is simple beautiful and rustic and I would recommend The Barn at Wolf Creek to all! Thank you to everyone here who helped make our day so special!
The Barn @ Wolf Creek was the perfect spot for my daughter's wedding. They assisted in planning out the entire day to ensure everything went smoothly and the setting was beyond what we could have hoped for. The venue gave us the combination of country/chic that we were looking for. Everyone was very professional and it gave me a piece of mind knowing they were there for us throughout my daughter's day. The ceremony with the huge tree in the back was amazing - everyone said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to and I believe it. Thank you Cindy for your support and making my daughter's wedding unforgettable.
We would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone! If you are looking for the perfect spot for a Barn/Chic wedding, this is it! The owners Cindy and John are not only professional to work with but very accommodating people!! Having had our wedding at the venue in July of 2020, and getting to have our actual reception almost a year later at the end of June of 2021 due to COVID- at this same location- it's safe to say this spot has become an extremely special and magical place for us.
I've dj'd several weddings at this venue. Every wedding I've done John & Cindy have been accommodating and their guests have had a blast. They are constantly adding new additions like new decks, a new walkway for the bride to start her walk down the aisle, etc. This is a newer venue, so check it out, its one of those hidden gems!
Owners ruined our daughter's wedding. Don’t be misled by the lovely setting. Please consider:
Accessibility - Main parking is a ways from the venue and walkers, wheelchairs and canes can be difficult to use on very long grass.
Restrooms - Restrooms are in the trailer on the ground level. Guests need to go up and down the stairs (or the ramp) when they need to wash or use the facilities.
Seating - Renters must set-up and tear down all chairs – for the ceremony and reception. Owner said the weight limit for the chairs was 250 pounds for up to two years. The chairs have been used for longer so plan accordingly.
Capacity – The website states the venue can accommodate up to 150 guests – this is a lie if you want to have everyone seated in the barn. I would say absolute MAX capacity inside is no more than 90 unless you don’t want a dance floor.
Utilities - I was told there was no running water available to fill a water bottle during the rehearsal. The only refrigerator is like a dorm refrigerator. Let your caterer know that Sternos are not permitted.
Staff – Don’t expect any practical assistance from the owners on the day of your event. Also, our event was a formal wedding but Cindy was in the venue all day - in shorts and a tank top. John spent the day in a chair in front of the venue office drinking.
Neighbors – This venue is VERY close to residential homes and to say the neighbors are displeased with the business is an understatement. One of the neighbors turned on his lawn mower ONLY during the ceremony and ruined my daughter’s wedding. Know you are taking your chances that someone may run a chainsaw, set off fireworks or hire a mariachi band to play just to be spiteful.
Music –John and Cindy use decibel readers that are monitored constantly to control noise. To provide reference, a noisy restaurant would read 80-89. (https://soundproofingguide.com/decibels-level-comparison-chart/) The decibel reader was not allowed over a reading of 85. If someone cheered or clapped, the owner’s considered this an overt act of defiance by the DJ or the guests.
Alcohol – In our contract, two bartenders and security were included with our $3200 rental fee. (I strongly suggest readers look at other negative reviews referencing alcohol) At the owner’s direction bartenders asked guests to recite the alphabet (BACKWARDS) as a “sobriety test” or they weren’t served. This started around 7:30. AT NO TIME did the off duty Copley Police Officer approach ANYONE about their behavior. But the owner was harassing the DJ and guests were not being served at the bar, so the wedding was effectively shut down before 9 p.m. – two hours short of our contract time of 11 p.m.
We read other reviews before we went under contract and most of them were positive, but almost all of these events took place when the venue was smaller- before the deck additions in 2019. Events that took place in 2020 would have had COVID restrictions (no dancing or mingling of guests). Small low key events would be perfect for this venue. But who is going to give the owners $3200 for a baby shower?
John and Cindy know this and they mislead families into believing they can have a traditional wedding – with music, dancing and celebration – so that they can charge wedding venue prices. I felt obligated to warn others so that no one else has their special day wrecked by these awful business owners.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry that your experience did not match your expectations. However, many of these allegations are inaccurate and even false. We want to be clear that we did not shut down this wedding.
We ...
understand that music and alcohol are a big part of celebrating a wedding day. However, as a business we do have state and county mandated rules and laws that we must abide by. We do have a county noise ordinance we must follow, which is fully disclosed and signed off on in our rental contract. We also work with the DJ’s and give them tools to help manage the sound such as decibel meters, to make sure we are in compliance. The DJ at this wedding had worked at our venue before and was aware of the rules. He was also reminded of the noise ordinance on the wedding day, and directly stated in writing that he knew the rules. Unfortunately, when the music had severely exceeded a permitted level, as set by county rules, the DJ became frustrated with the request to turn it down and rather than simply complying with the rules, he chose to make the extremely unprofessional choice of suddenly turning off the music. This behavior by the DJ was unacceptable and unnecessary. We have many DJ’s that work at our venue that are perfectly happy to work within the laws that we must follow. While this is no fault of our own, we will not tolerate this kind of unprofessionalism at our venue as we truly care about our couple’s wedding experience. We have since employed strategies that will help keep noise under specific levels. We are also adding a sound demo for future tours so that we can make sure that our venue is the right fit for our guests.
As mentioned above, we also do have alcohol laws we must also abide by, and we do enforce those laws as we want a safe experience for all of our couples and their guests. Guests who appeared to be heavily intoxicated, and continued to return to the bar for drinks were offered water instead for a 20 minute “water break.” The bar was never closed and never stopped serving drinks to the guests. Again this is a law we take very seriously to keep our guests safe.
We realize that by enforcing state & county laws and rules there are going to be some that are disappointed. Our intention for this business has always been to provide a beautiful setting to enjoy and celebrate your special day. We have many many happy couples that have thoroughly enjoyed their experience with us.
I do want to note that all neighbor interactions are under control and there should not be any fear of ceremonies being sabotaged.
If you would like to speak further about any of these concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We welcome any questions or concerns and have several references to which our customer service can be verified.
Best,
The Barn at Wolf Creek
We loved our day at The Barn at Wolf Creek. The grounds and the barn are stunning, and made for the best photos! We got so many compliments on the venue from our guests. The bridal suite was also an amazing place to get ready.
We can't say enough about how beautiful this venue is!! We had our wedding here in July and our postponed reception will be here in April 2021. We had the most perfect, beautiful, memorable wedding ceremony under the big red wood trees on the property. The bridal suite is absolutely stunning and our guests were gushing on how quaint and beautiful the property was. Owners Cindy and John are amazing to work with and truly want the best for their Brides and Grooms. We cannot wait to celebrate here one more time come April!!

We had our wedding reception here and it was an absolutely stunning venue! We received so many compliments from guests. A venue can really make or break photos and The Barn at Wolf Creek was perfect! Amazing bridal suite, indoor and outdoor unique photo opportunities. Cindy was so sweet and easy to work with. She made sure everything ran smoothly and allowed me to make last minute changes with ease. I am so thankful we found this place and would recommend 10000%!!!

Thank you so much! We were so honored to host your wedding and be a part of your special day! Appreciate the recommendation!!!!
We had our August wedding at the Barn at Wolf Creek and it was absolutely beautiful! We booked it before Cindy and John added the second outside deck so that was a pleasant surprise to have. Cindy was very accommodating while we planned from out of state and even let us do multiple tours to show our parents when in town. Our photographer was in love with the space and it shows in all of the photos we have. I know there was a lot of work that went on behind the scenes that day, but I was blissfully unaware of it all!
I would definitely recommend this venue for any couple looking for the perfect outdoor venue!
Before you decided to get married here check out the parkers barn on Copley road.i wish I would have went there before Agreed to have it at Wolfcreek yes the barn at wolf creek is beautiful but it is very small if you plan on having a big wedding don’t bother it really hold less then 100 people unless you want some of your guess to sit out side.they told me I could use my Own bartender as long as they had liquor liability insurance so I paid for that $175 then 3 days before my wedding they told me I couldn’t use them I had to use theirs and that was another $500 and then if I wanted to use there a/c it was another $175 the owners scammers and they are always watching ever move you make we had the place until 11pm and It felt like Cindy was trying to hurry us out tell my groomsmen they need to start cleaning up after she told me before I could clean up the next morning.also btw the parkers barn is half the price and has a/c and inside bathrooms and can hold double the amount of people.it’s just seems you should get a lot more for $2500 plus all the other costs they add in.
Perfect is the word I use to describe my wedding day at The Barn at Wolf Creek. Considering the weather we have had here in Ohio this June, the day couldn't have been more perfect. Sunny and comfortable 80 degrees with the most picturesque setting. The bridal suite was the best spot for my bridesmaids and myself to get ready for the big day. We spent the whole day getting hair and makeup done on site. Much to our surprise, they had just finished a space for the groomsmen to also hang out in prior to the wedding. They have done some major updates to the barn since we booked in January. We were delighted to see two new decks, a lower deck in the back, and a deck in the front of the barn. The grounds were beautiful, and they were working that day getting things ready. John and Cindy were very easy to work with and honored we chose their location for our wedding day. I wouldn’t change a thing. Our guests absolutely loved the venue as well. They had nothing but great things to say. BEST. Day. Ever!
Such a gorgeous venue. All of my guests just kept telling me how much they loved it. I’m very glad I was able to have my reception and ceremony here.
We had our wedding at the barn this past Friday and could not have had a more perfect day! Cindy and John were great to work with and Cindy always answered my questions in a timely fashion. The barn and property are beautiful and so many of our guests commented on how gorgeous everything was. We brought in a lot of our own decor to compliment the already amazing setting. All of our vendors were pleased with the ease of working with the venue and everyone had an absolutely amazing time. We highly recommend The Barn at Wolf Creek.
Our wedding was on October 6th 2018! The Barn at Wolf Creek was the most the perfect location for our food truck wedding! Cindy and John were amazing to work with and helped our day run smoothly. Cindy always answered all of my questions in a timely manner and even helped us out by giving us names of dj's when ours fell through. The whole night our guest raved about how awesome the venue was. Getting married is such a special time in someones life but it was even better knowing how at home we felt at this location. Thank you Cindy and John!
The venue has so much natural beauty, that we didn’t feel like we had to over decorate! The owners kept in constant contact with us throughout the entirety of the planning and helped give us some great ideas that guided us through the entire process. I can’t wait to see what is in store for the future of this venue. :)
I really wanted to be able to leave a complimentary review, the barn itself is so magical and beautiful and I was so looking forward to having my wedding there and having all my guest see just how special the barn is. I tried to give the owners the benefit of the doubt because they were new to the wedding game and our wedding was only their 3rd wedding they were hosting. There were some communication issues along the way...the owners kept telling us it was ok to do something and then later would retract on what they had originally stated. We were told they had to provide the bartenders and that they would get back to me on the price, once they finally did tell me the price via email, they later tried to change the price during conversation. We were told certain renovations would be done before our wedding date and then were told 2 days prior to our big day that they would not be done. I was willing to look past all these trivial things because at the end of the day they are little hiccups and I didn't want them to ruin the most important day of my life.
When our day finally arrived, and our reception was well under way I notice John (one of the owners) walking around the dance floor with a decibel reader, it was about 8PM. Our dance floor was out on the deck because of the heat inside of the barn. He came up to me and told me someone was teaching him how to use it and in the back of my mind I could not understand why he was even there walking around the middle of the party. My DJ (my best friend’s husband, who came from Arizona to attend/DJ our wedding as a gift) notified me about 30 minutes later that John had approached him and threatened to call the cops if he did not turn down the volume, which he did. My matron of honor (my best friend and the DJs wife) after hearing about this went up to John and asked him if there was going to be a problem. John stated that he had never told the DJ he would call the cops that he said the neighbors would call the police and he asked her how she had heard that that was what he had stated. She responded that the DJ had told her and that was why she had come over to speak with him. John then proceeded to tell my matron of honor that the DJ was a liar, she quickly informed him that the DJ was her husband and that he was not a liar. Later in the evening John went back over to the DJ and whilst communicating with him shoved the DJ’s shoulder. My new husband had to go speak with the off-duty police officer that was on the premises.
Several guests, including myself also saw John behind the bar drinking the liquor that we were required to provide. It was also witnessed that the clean up crew that we paid for, provided by the barn, was also drinking our liquor. At no point throughout the evening did we ever extend an invitation for any of our hired help to get alcoholic beverages…..because they were working. We did offer them food and cake which in my opinion seems fair since they were also being paid. I find it highly inappropriate the way that John behaved being an owner as well as the cleaning crew.
We paid you to use your facility not for you to drink our alcohol and shove my DJ.
I will not be referring anyone to your establishment which is unfortunate because that place really is beautiful. I hope for everyone else’s sake that this doesn’t happen again.
