Very wonderful store! Amazing customer service. Great plus-size selection. I was worried about dress shopping, but everyone at The Bridal Gallery made it so enjoyable and special! Would definitely recommend.
They were outstanding! We were the only ones there and had their undivided attention. Michelle was amazing, she listened to everything I wanted in my dress and also gave me her professional opinion on how she liked it on me or what would needed to me altered to get that perfect fit. It was a super fun time and we were able to laugh and enjoy ourselves. The pricing is reasonable especially since they are GORGEOUS dresses. I ended up finding my perfect dress and I couldn’t be any more happier. Overall it was a wonderful experience!
Shopping for a wedding dress could not have been a better experience here! I had Olivia as my personal associate, and she was nothing less than extraordinary. She made my day! Not only was she incredibly attentive, but asked excellent questions. She provided THE PERFECT dress, and was so kind, genuine, and caring. I would recommend the Bridal Gallery every time! They also provided the most adorable "extra" to go home with that goes to show how much they care for their customers.
I went to a few local stores but had just the most amazing experience here’ the dresses are gorgeous, the service is individualized and lovely! Thank you!
I drove down from Portland after seeing a gown online. When I arrived they had my dress ready. I was able to try on several dresses. She even waited while I video chatted in my Bridesmaids since they were unable to come due to Covid rules. I love the experience and couldnt be more excied!
The bridal gallery of Salem was phenomenal. They went above and beyond to make my daughters wedding dress shopping a positive experience to always remember. The staff was so knowledgeable and went above and beyond in this special moment. Thank you. We will forever be greatful.
What a terrible experience my daughter had. Do not trust these people with your special day. The dress they ordered her was 3 sizes too small and when asked if they could order one in her size, they said she'd need to purchase an entire new gown! They trick young, vulnerable, excited brides-to-be into signing their ridiculous contract, that way you're bound by the fine print. They have terrible attitudes and fluid care less about making someones wedding day perfect. Absolutely awful business!!
I visited The Bridal Gallery for my wedding dress while I was in Oregon visiting family. I live in New Jersey, but wanted to go to a place in Oregon so my grandmother could come along for the experience. I scheduled online and received a call from someone right away to ask some questions to customize my experience. They were so friendly. The day of, we arrived and had the best time. Our consultant was fantastic. (I can't remember her name, I'm so sorry! Though everyone we spoke with was great. It might have been Heather, but it's been almost 2 years since I went in. ha) She let us look around and pick things we liked, and then she asked what I was looking for and picked a few more things for me. The trying-on process was great, she was super helpful, and they allowed us to drink a bottle of sparkling wine that we brought in! After trying on a few, our consultant had an idea - I wanted a fitted bodice, but I loved the idea of sleeves. She came back with a jacket, and it perfectly matched the dress that I loved - and they weren't even made to go together! I knew that was it. I was saying yes! (At the risk of sounding cliche.) The jacket had elbow-length sleeves, and I wanted full-length, so we were also able to order more fabric for the seamstress to extend them. The ordering and shipping process was so easy. I was nervous since it had to be shipped to them in Oregon, and then from them to my parents in Texas (where the wedding was), all while I was living in New Jersey. But everything went smoothly and arrived safely! The Bridal Gallery communicated everything to me and were so great. Everything arrived at once - obviously the dress and the jacket, but also the extra fabric, and bra cups, as well as straps if I wanted to add them to the dress (which was strapless). All in a nice garment bag. I couldn't have asked for anything better, and I am still in love with my dress, even 6 months after the wedding. Thank you!!
(Note: the alterations were done at a separate place in Texas, only because that's where the wedding was.)
The ladies at the Bridal Gallery were great! So nice and helpful! They had a great selection of gowns!
First you have to know, they have a picture frame on the front desk that states they don't take returns, refunds or exchanges. So when they order your dress 2-3 sizes too big to get the extra money on alterations, you are stuck with a huge frumpy dress and an empty pocket book.
Purchased my original wedding dress here. After feeling pressured to say yes to something on the spot! Originally loved the dress, however 6 months later when the dress came in it was HUGE! I was disheartened but went to the alterations appointment. They had to take so much out of the dress that the details I bought the dress for were being cut away. I left so unhappy. Ended up at another bridal store and bought a beautiful dress off the rack by the same designer that was 3 SIZES SMALLER than the dress they ordered. (I know you may be thinking I lost weight for the wedding. Nope, I have always been happy with my body and didn't lose a pound.)
I would highly recommend that you purchase your wedding dress elsewhere. Unless you want your dream wedding dress to be ordered so big it loses all its appeal, and you want to waste money on a dress you won't wear.
THE WORST shopping experience of all time. I was the easiest bride they could ask for: picked out the dress, called ahead to make sure they had a sample, and was open minded towards all their extra (unnecessary) charges. I drove three and a half hours ONE WAY to the shop and was greeted with kindness. As soon as I paid for the dress and came back for fitting, the owner was short and unwilling to work woth me or answer questions. The few adjustments needed to be made weren’t even touched. My fourth time driving up there to deal with the dress fiasco, they wouldn’t even let me try on my own dress! Negative individuals, ladies. Save your time and $ and go elsewhere.
I'm not sure where to start. I've been disappointed by this place so many times in the process of getting my wedding dress. They've treated me like nothing but a nuisance from the moment we walked in for our appointment. If we hadn't driven all the way from Seattle we would have turned around and left. There was a miscommunication in appointment times so when we got there the owner flat out said "well I'm not staying late" because there was a Beavers game that night that she didn't want to miss. I was so stunned and upset that I got a little emotional, and I think she felt a little bad (or wanted to avoid a bad review) so she let us stay and try on dresses. But not without "jokingly" reminding us every ten minutes that she was missing the game. So I fall in love with a dress, we purchase it, are told by the owner to come back in once it comes in with my shoes for the first round of alterations. I wait months to hear from them and finally call only to find out my dress had been in for two months. Apparently they had the wrong phone number for me, even though somehow they called to confirm my appointment back at the beginning? So I ask to make an appointment for the first round of alterations as the owner had suggested. The girl on the phone was SO condescending and wouldn't let me make an appointment until 3 months before my wedding "unless you're ABSOLUTELY sure you'll be the same EXACT size you are now." Thank you, I've been this size for ten years but ok I get it. There was probably more of a delicate way to put that. So then I decide I'd rather just have it shipped here so I can be done with this place. I call and give them my address and pay over the phone and SPECIFICALLY ask that I must sign for the package. Because hello, it's a $2000 dollar package. She insists that I will but I woke up this morning to a ring of my doorbell and my dress just sitting out in the rain. And then after I opened the box, I realized the sent the wrong size. I'm so frustrated and upset by this whole experience and I will NEVER recommend any bride-to-be to this awful and unprofessional place.
Angie and her staff are amazing! I only tried on 8 dresses and until I found the perfect one. The best part was they knew which dress was mine before I fully realized it myself because they suggested adding a veil and that was when I realized what they had already seen! They also matched a great veil and earrings/necklace and all for a super reasonable price! Not to mention they gave me really cute Bridal Gallery keepsakes like a sash, Kleenex kit, chapstick, hair tie and water bottle. So unbelievably welcoming and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dress! You won’t be disappointed by their selection or their excellent customer service :-)
I went to a box store before I heard about the Bridal Gallery and found a dress that was eh, figured since it wasn't my first time getting married I wasn't going to have the same response I did the first time around, just because it wasn't new. By the time I was going to pick up my other dress, I just decided it wasn't for me. I didn't want to go back to that "box" store due to the transactional feeling that I received, so I went into the Bridal Gallery due to my sister-in-law getting her dress there. I made an appointment on the website which was SO easy. On the day of my appointment, my husband and I went to look at dresses. We were paired with Rebekah who was absolutely wonderful! She had such a fun personality which really matched well with ours. She listened to what we did and didn't want in a dress. I tried on my last dress and as I walked from the dressing room to the mirrors, I got that "this is it!!" feeling. The whole first interaction was wonderful, no pressure and very willing to work with us. From February of 2017 to July 2017, we worked with Rebekah, Dave and Angie on fittings and tuxes. It was so nice to call up and they instantly knew who I was by my first name. Talk about service! Dave worked with the schedules of all our groomsmen to get their initial fitting done and then once the tuxes came in. We even had an unusual situation happen with our youngest (12 months) and his tux. We waited as long as possible due to him growing a lot in the first year to get him measured. When the time came to get his tux, the manufacturer changed their sizes and no longer offered his size in our colors. Dave gave us some suggestions so that we could get a tux for him. We tried to look around and weren't able to find anything local for him. Before I even had time to freak as a bride, Dave texted us that he had put out the word in his network of bridal people and found us a tux in the size we needed and the colors matched!! Crisis adverted thanks to his great customer service! If we hadn't already decided to rent our bridesmaids dresses, I would have done it ALL through Bridal Gallery as they were so easy to work with and took care of us the whole way through. I will definitely recommend them to any Brides and Grooms that I know because they were there for us all the way through to our wedding day.
The Bridal Gallery in Salem was the best choice for mens tuxes!
The level of passion and service was outstanding! And we saved over $120 each groomsman in comparison to all competitors! Men's warehouse would have been over $200 more per person for the full set packages we received!
Dave and Angie are so friendly and professional- they made it an amazing experience! We came in on short notice and they never missed a beat in getting us taken care of! Myself and all of my groomsman looked amazing on the big day!! I wish I could post a picture here because we looked dapper!! If you are in the Salem area - this is the best choice - check them out!
Love Angie and her crew! They did all of the alterations on my wedding dress even though I purchased from somewhere else AND helped me find all of my accessories and customized them! They designed a belt perfect for my dress and dyed shoes to fit perfectly with what I wanted. Additionally, they helped me find ties and pocket squares for the guys to match my very specific color of peach that my bridesmaids were wearing. They were always super responsive, very patient, and worked with my crazy schedule to get me in when I was visiting (I live in Nashville). I would highly recommend working with them for any of your wedding attire needs!

Very disappointed with my experience at the bridal gallery. When my dress came in there was a number of fit issues they were unwilling to fix and instead of feeling like a beautiful bride they left me with regret I ever bought the dress in the first place. They never wanted to listen or strive to fix any issues I was having. Took my dress elsewhere and fell in love with it all over again. I would not recommend anyone go here.
When I made my appointment at the Bridal Gallery, I had already shopped at several bridal stores and had a pretty good idea of what types of dresses I liked (and also what to expect from a bridal appointment). On their website, they say to expect 2 hours for your first time in to the store (and maybe that's for people who've never tried on any dresses), but I was in and out in 45 minutes. I felt super rushed to try on the dresses ("do you like this one or that one?" "is this better than the last?") which didn't make the process feel very special- more like trying to get a sale. Then, when I found a dress that I liked, I was told that the sample was the only one left but that the dress "fit me perfectly"... except that it felt very tight and I couldn't even sit in the dress. The consultant told me that "nobody sits on their wedding day"- I get that they were trying to sell the dress to me that day...Really?!? I'd at least like to have the option to sit in the dress! Also, as we were leaving, I was told that they don't give out the names of the designers/styles of the dresses until after you purchase the dress. This policy seems silly-- especially since all of the designers are listed on the shop's website. It took me maybe 15 minutes to find the dress that I had liked on the designer's website. So why wouldn't you just give out the information to the customer instead of making them search for it? Overall, the person helping me was just trying to make a quick sale and I didn't feel valued as a customer.
I had an appointment in August 2016 and asked that they keep my budget under $1000. They said no problem. I found the most beautiful dress but needed a few small alterations (the sheer bodice was itchy, so that needed to be changed). The employee helping me was great and personable. However, the dress she pulled that I fell in love with was $1250--this does not include the alternations, bustle, or hemming that would have to be done. I was heartbroken. She was kind enough to try to find a way to make it affordable but it was impossible. We left empty handed and nervous I wouldn't be able to find a dress better than that.
After a few weeks, I was still upset and thinking about this perfect dress. I decided to write to the business (not publically) to explain the issue so that this would be discussed with the employee and not happen to someone else. I understand that it's a business and they were probably trying to upsell but it's unethical. The response to my letter was not positive and they did not see any problem but thanked me for visiting. Two weeks after that, I received an email from the employee--I thought it was an apology or at least asking for clarification for the problem but it wasn't. It seemed like a copy/pasted email she decided to send out to all her customers. And/or it could be that the owner who wrote me didn't bother to pass on my comments to her. So what was the point of my feedback?
Steer clear of this location in case you have a hard set budget. As a teacher, I am limited in my budget and I would rather spend money on the honeymoon and my family rather than a dress. My fiance was great and suggested I still buy it and we could "live in the dress" which I found funny. Still, I'm upset that I still have this thought in the back of my head about this dress. It was just not right.
My dress shopping was fun and informative. They kept the dress until my first fitting, then until the final fitting followed by the steam clean. My only issue is with the fitting. We felt very rushed and it was not done correctly the first time. It was fixed with time to spare though and turned out great.
I can't recommend this place enough. The staff is helpful, and eager to assist. I was able to find the perfect gown, veil, earrings and shoes for a price that was easy on my wallet.
The cutest little bridal shop in Salem! Loved the attention from Aaron!! He is amazing. Amazing dresses and pretty well priced! They were amazing and I am so happy with my experience! I would recommend them to everyone!!
The staff was super friendly and accommodating, everything went very smoothly from my very first appointment until my alterations were finished and I left with my dress in hand, and I was very pleased with the overall experience. The only drawback was finding the dress I purchased for a slightly lower price at another store in town after purchasing it.
I had a specific type of dress in my mind and had been to three other bridal shops. I am glad I didn't settle for a different dress before checking out The Bridal Gallery. I didn't feel rushed while trying on dresses.
The Bridal Gallery has beautiful dresses and great people working there! I did have an issue when my dress was sent out for pressing that hooks for the bustle came off and I didn't notice until my wedding day.
I went to The Bridal Gallery to find a dress for my bridesmaids. We found their dress and my mom found her MOB dress! So it was a very successful shopping trip, and their prices (at least as far as bridesmaid dresses go) were really reasonable. I'm from Eugene, and I had already purchased my dress at David's Bridal down there. I wish I had found The Bridal Gallery first, although I'm not sure I could have been able to afford their dresses. But they said I could have my dress altered there since we had purchased the bridesmaid dresses. I decided to go with them since everyone else was too. This is the bad, nothing to awful but I had to alter my dress multiple times and then on the day of the wedding it was still too big and it cost me over $300! Which is a lot when the original dress was only $500. Also they made the straps on two of my bridesmaid's dresses too short, and one of the girls asked them why that happened. One of the women in alterations said that they aren't sure when things get pinned if they should do on the left or right side of the pin, so looser or tighter. Which I think is ridiculous! Considering that alterations are really important to get accurate and they are expensive! I was happy with how I was treated the whole time, but if I had to go back and do it over again I would not use them for alterations.
They had a big selection to choose from and were very friendly and helpful.
The person who helped me find my dress was great, and had me try on a dress I wouldn't have picked for myself, but ended up loving! The alterations were not great though. My dress never fit correctly. The straps dug into my shoulders so bad that they felt like they were bruised the next day, and the empire waist kept riding up all night. They let the shoulders out as much as they could, but ultimately it seems like they ordered the wrong size.
Also, they are definitely *not* kid-friendly. I understand if they politely said something about us bringing kids, but they were well behaved and the owner practically yelled at us and told us kids aren't allowed in alterations. If she would've simply asked us to keep the kids upstairs that would have been one thing, but she bit my head off.
When it comes down to it, choosing a wedding dress is stressful! The Bridal Gallery did a great job at helping me decide which dress was right for me. They are experienced in their field and I trusted their advice.
The staff at the Bridal Gallery is AWESOME!!!! The staff was amazing and they are so accommodating! I was living in California and was only going to be up in Oregon a few times before the wedding and they totally made it work for getting my fittings in. Their alterations lady is awesome and they do it in house which made me feel good about it. Also I needed a swatch of my dress to decide what color to have my husband's tux be and they got a swatch and mailed it to me! They are great!
If you are in Salem, there is no need to go up to Portland to one of the "fancy" bridal shops, just go here!!!
I can't say enough about this place! The Bridal Gallery is an adorable shop located in downtown Salem. We worked with Rebecca to find the perfect gown. She was friendly, professional, and funny! I went in with a loosely formed idea of what I was looking for. I felt like everyone there really heard me and what I wanted. Rebecca really was so helpful in nailing down the style I was after. She listened and had some fabulous ideas that fit with my style. I never felt pressured or forced into anything there. They were also very intentional about setting a budget and sticking to it! No upselling here. I was really impressed. I had a DIY wedding and was worried initially about finding a gown within my budget. The Bridal Gallery pulled it off perfectly! My dress was selected by Rebecca after we had pulled some other gowns together, and it was everything I wanted at a price I could afford. They really are miracle workers there. I recommend this shop to all my girlfriends planning weddings.
This shop have placed my whole family in dresses and it was perfect for me. They were timely, positived, and I couldn't ask for anything better. I love this place.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really liked the lady from alterations, she was great except she missed a couple of spots. When my dress came in the woman insisted I step into it when I should have had it taken over the top. My dress was very form fitting and while she was yanking it up a bunch of "tacks" popped and ripped. I didn't realize they were ripped until I got it home and then realized that's what all of the popping sounds were. They double tacked my dress, charge(because I had to bring it back in and prove it to them) except some were missed which I noticed the day before the wedding. After I had it pressed and cleaned I should have unzipped the bag and looked at it then because when I got home and pulled it out there was dirt on the front of it. When I called(I just wanted to know how to clean it myself) they were rude and did not believe me. At this point I was done making trips to Salem and I did not want to pay another 200 for my dress to be cleaned. Luckily my dress was satin so it came off with water, but still it was very VERY stressful working with this company overall. But I will say I had a sweetheart neckline added to the dress which came out perfect and the bustle was awesome!
I came to this bridal shop because my cousin got her dress from here. It has a good selection of dresses for the size of the shop. My dress was beautiful and they were able to make the changes to it that I asked without a problem. Only complaint is that a one of the people there is a little different. She was helpful but asked same questions multiple times and didn't order my sash when called and asked to do so, but everything worked out and the sash was ordered and looked beautiful!
I wasn't too happy with this place. They unathorized a transaction for the dress when my mom specifically said not to do anything while she and I went outside to talk about it first. They also messed up my alterations and my straps came off during my reception that were suppossed to be sewn in, my sides were not taking in at the top and pins were left in my dress when I went to put it on on my Wedding Day! The staff was friendly, but also a litle pushy. They did refund all of my alteration charges after I complained and their dress selection was wonderful and plentiful and very well organized.
I first went to the bridal gallery before I was actually engaged, to look at dresses with my friend for fun. I found some I really loved and the service was great. So when I got engaged I knew this was the first place I wanted to go.
Angie, the owner, is fabulous! She adapts well to peoples personalities. Serious when she needs to be, but she noticed my personality right off and was able to joke and have fun.
Every step of the way they were so great. Ordering it, alterations, especially when my dress was too small, they fixed it perfectly and I was so pleased. I would recommend them to anyone. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!
I found the dress of my dreams here at this store and the service was excellent! I was very fortunate as the alterations person(Brenda) happened to be working on the floor that day and came up with a great solution for a body flaw (back flab) that she could hide with just a little extra material. She was wonderful to work with and found me the perfect dress! Everyone at our wedding loved me in it! It was very classy! Thank you Brenda and The Bridal Gallery!
I purchased my dress in Illinois but the Bridal Gallery was the only place in Salem who would do alterations even though it was purchased from another store. They were so helpful. My dress fit perfectly, and they helped me find the best finishing touches. I would recommend them to anyone.
I was very hesitant in dress shopping because I had NO idea what I wanted in a dress. The Bridal Gallery was fabulous in helping me choose what I was comfortable in and helped me find my perfect dress. Alterations are done in-store, which made it convenient. They had a great selection of dresses which helped me find the style of dress I was after with the budget that I had.
Angie and her team at the Bridal Gallery are incredibly friendly, cheerful and helpful. The Bridal Gallery would have gotten five stars except that only 2 out of 8 tuxes ordered from them fit! And even after the second try re-ordering pieces that didn't fit they still didn't fit. Incredibly frustrating and stressful. My dress turned out perfect - no issues there. The bridesmaids dresses also turned out perfect after some minor alterations. Everything was fairly expensive, but hey most wedding attire is! Overall a great place to go just wish the tuxes had turned out differently
I loved The Bridal Gallery. Angie was absolutely amazing...could not have had the wedding I did without all of her help! My dress so beautiful. We also got all of our tuxes there as well as bridesmaid dresses, Mother of the Groom dress and shoes.
I loved the Bridal Gallery! We went to quite a few different bridal stores, but I fell in love with the Bridal Gallery, and Rachel who was helping me find the perfect dress. I went the first time with my mom and found two dresses I loved, and booked a special appointment on a Sunday, when they are usually closed, to bring in four of my family members to help me. We had a fun, relaxing time trying on dresses - the Bridal Gallery had an amazing selection of gorgeous dresses and I found the perfect one. I would definitely recommend going there!
Both of my best friends went wedding dress shopping at The Bridal Gallery. They both had very short engagements and were needing to quickly find a dress. The saleswoman at Thi Bridal Gallery was so helpful in keeping within the budget, the style and the timeline of both brides. Only one of them decided to buy their dress from The Bridal Gallery but both were very happy with their experience there. I would recommend The Bridal Gallery for your wedding dress shopping experience.
