I went to The Bridal Garden with 3 of my bridesmaids. I fell in love with the first dress I saw. The woman who worked with us, Angela, brought me many dresses to try on. I first tried the one I saw when walking in. It was about 6 sizes too big,... but Angela kindly zipped me into it and clamped it up- showing me how beautiful it would be with alterations. She convinced me the alterations would be doable and make the dress gorgeous. She then told me I would be thrilled to hear the price... because the dress was discontinued, she said, it was marked down and half off. I tried on many others, but kept going back to the original dress. Angela must have zipped me into it 3 or 4 times. I bought the dress and took it with me- all sales final.
When I took it to my seamstress, she was mortified they'd sold it to me. Yes, she could do the alterations, but the dress wouldn't be proportioned to my body. The bodice would still be way too big, and it wouldn't flatter my body. She then pointed out the zipper- the bottom was completely ripped out of the dress!
When I called The Bridal Garden to let them know my experience, and to let them know my 5 bridesmaids would not be coming back to get their dresses there, Angela claimed she told me about the zipper and that's why it was 1/2 off. She didn't seem phased by my disappointment and just kept repeating, "well, all sales are final." She absolutely did not tell me that or I would not have bought the dress and I have my 3 friends who distinctly remember her saying it was 1/2 off because it was discontinued, not because of the zipper. Shame on me for not inspecting the dress and zipper, but I would have never thought to check that a zipper would be ripped out of a dress.
The Bridal Garden conducted themselves in an unprofessional, dishonest way and I would not recommend this boutique to ANYBODY.
