- Janine SmajstrlaOwnerHi there, I’m Janine! I'm from the small community of Hackberry, Texas and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin – Hook ‘Em! I have always been drawn to fashion, hard work, and love stories and grew up making pretend wedding invitations for all of my friends on Valentine’s Day and reading every wedding magazine I could get my hands on. I fell in love with the bridal industry in 2015 while completing my internship at The Bridal Rail and knew it was exactly where I belonged. In 2023, I made The Bridal Rail my own and it has been a dream ever since. When I’m not making dress dreams come true, you can find me working for my family’s cattle company. There’s no shortage of excitement in my life with lots of cows, goats, and chickens to chase, hay to make, fish to catch, and deer to hunt. I also recently got engaged to my sweetheart, John, who never turns down a crazy bridal shop idea I have and knows my Kendra Scott jewelry obsession so well he picked out the perfect Kendra Scott engagement ring for me to wear forever!
