horrible. Do not use this event center. They promised a day-of coordinator and failed to follow through; there were at least five different coordinators who made contact with us throughout our six-month planning and then within two weeks after their initial contact, contacted us to say they no longer work for The Courtyard. That is a high rate of turnover of employees and we had to re-explain our venue, our layout, and our plan each time to each new person. Each time someone left, The Courtyard never contacted us, the individual who left contacted us. We scheduled a "walk-through" to discuss layout and table placement three days before the event; we were met by a maintenance man, no coordinator. Someone whom we never met was late unlocking and opening the door for us on the day-of the reception. I sent an email the Monday after the reception to indicate our disappointment in customer service, communication, and hospitality and received back, from someone whom I never met and never heard of her name throughout the six-months of planning, a very rude email; her reply email to me was more rude than the lack of service throughout the contract period. To quote her email, "You paid for the space, the tables, and the linens. That is it. That is all." I would rate this vendor as a zero; I only rated one star because zero stars is not an option. Customer service, communication, hospitality and a "thank you" go a long way. They failed in this service. I would not recommend this event center for any event.
