Deco was an amazing caterer to work with and the food was wonderful! We worked with Kasey and Xander to coordinate our wedding catering services. Both were extremely professional and such a joy to work with!

The Deco was great to work with. They responded promptly and accommodated requests. They made sure all the details were in order, even though we hired them on short notice. The food was really good and the staff was efficient, friendly, helpful, and made everything look so nice. I didn't have anything to worry about on my wedding day, they took care of everything, even making an extra kids meal on the fly.

We worked with Deco for our July 6, 2024 wedding at Watson Block in Minneapolis and could not have had a better experience. The entire Deco staff was incredibly helpful, informative, communicative and friendly throughout. Kasey was a huge help as our point person during the planning process and tasting, and Xander executed the day-of perfectly. From the servers to the bartenders to the behind-the-scenes folks, the service was extraordinary. And the food! Our guests raved about our menu during and after the wedding. When we told Kasey we were interested in serving pierogis as a nod to my Polish heritage, she went out of her way to source them from an authentic local vendor. They were one of the biggest hits of the night! All of Deco's food is heads above standard wedding fare - you will not be disappointed. We also highly recommend the Helsinki cake; it is a MUST do. We truly could not recommend Deco more strongly, especially if working with Watson Block or one of its partner venues.

Words cannot describe Deco! They were my catering for our wedding and I couldnt have been more thankful and just happier with selecting them. The food was delicious and very nicely sized portions. The staff were attentive, professional, hard working and prompt with requests and emails. They even go as far to making the food tasting fun. Definitely will use this catering company again! We used Deco for our daughters wedding. We served close to 300 meals and it was simply amazing. Deco pays attention to every detail in their meal preparation from the food tasting to wedding day. Our guests comments on the excellent food went on all night. The desserts were delicious and a beautiful presentation.

Deco Catering was simply the best! We chose them to provide food for our daughter's grad party, and they filled all of our needs! The menu selection was awesome, excellent food quality and the staff were efficient, polite and kind! The ops manager Kasey even visited our home to help us plan site set up, and the event staff kept the buffet table full, bussed tables and did a total clean up! We are so pleased with their service.

Kasey and the team at Deco were nothing short of amazing! They were so responsive, to all of our questioning nd! being we live out of state they were so kind to let my sister and brother in law taste test our food for us. The options available were overwhelming at first but Kasey made the entire process to narrow down our final choice so easy! The food was beyond what I was expecting! Everything was so fresh, and warm when it came out! Along with the presentation, to the severs, to the table settings, everything was what we imagined! The appetizers during cocktail hour did not disappoint! Perfect sizes for a small bite before we ate! Would highly recommend The Deco Catering to anyone needing their event catered!

Awesome caterer! We didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding day because they were so organized and worked directly with our venue. The food was great, the bar was great, and the point of contact was great!

We had the Deco staff at our wedding on 10-13-23. Each and every one of them were amazing to work with. From the quoting process to the end of night clean up. All of our guests loved the taco bar! The staff onsite was very kind and attentive and continued to show that throughout the entire night. No complaints!

Having yummy food was a big priority for us when we were planning our wedding. The Deco Catering exceeded all expectations! HIRE THE DECO FOR YOUR WEDDING. The Deco catered our 130-person wedding at Semple Mansion, and their team made the entire process seamless. My husband was of the opinion that 'wedding food is wedding food', but even his expectations were exceeded! We received many compliments on the food. I tried the roasted salmon and champagne chicken, and both were DELICIOUS. Also, the spinach feta salad was delicious and highly complimented. We worked with Kasey during the tasting and planning process, and her responsiveness and helpfulness was immediately apparent from our first interactions. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, so having someone like Kasey on your team is highly appreciated. I had so many questions and menu changes throughout the months leading up to the wedding, and Kasey was always so helpful and accommodating. I have absolutely zero complaints about working with Deco, and I would recommend them to everyone who is planning a wedding, especially at Semple Mansion (they are one of the preferred vendors). They are truly professionals, and the entire day I had zero stress about any aspect of the catering. Thank you so much to Kasey and Christy (our operations manager) and the entire staff!

Deco catered our 210 person wedding and did an incredible job. The food was delicious (got a ton of compliments on the food!), the service was phenomenal, and the whole process leading up to it was seamless. I highly recommend using them for any large event!

I hired Deco for a Memorial Service reception for my father. The food was all delicious and beautiful. And even though more people showed up than expected, there was plenty for everyone. The staff were helpful, kind and professional. We considered going a less expensive route but are so glad we didn’t. I think folks stayed longer (which we were very happy about) because the food was so good! Would hire them again in a heartbeat!

We brought Deco in for a wedding reception/party for our son and daughter-in-law, who live and married out of state earlier this year. We wanted to have a "Northern" reception for them in Minnesota. First of all - the food! Everything was exceptional and of the highest quality. Many of our guests commented that this was the best food they had ever had at any event! It was a rousing success! The meats were moist and delicious (Chicken stuffed with wild rice and short ribs), the fruits and vegetables fresh and beautiful, and the desserts! The best! We could have ordered at least twice the amount of kringle - it was the best we've ever had! The pretzel bites at the end of the night were a big hit, too. I, as mother of the groom, coordinated everything so that our kids could just show up and enjoy (they were married earlier this year). Kacey, Christy, and the rest of the team made this event go so smoothly. Every detail was attended to, and the evening was wonderful! The staff was attentive, courteous, efficient, and unobtrusive. I didn't even realize when they had cleaned up and left. I highly recommend The Deco Catering. You will not be disappointed!

The Deco team was amazing on our wedding day. We had two social hours (pre/post ceremony), dinner, and desserts covered by Deco, and we were satisfied with the service and food. In particular, everyone complimented the roasted veggies and baked brie cheese served during the pre-ceremony social hour – it was one of the most delicious appetizers we've ever had. Their bite-size berry cheesecake was also amazing! On top of that, Kasey was incredibly easy to work with throughout the planning process. Thank you for providing such amazing food and service!

Food.Is. AMAZING. We had Deco provide the appetizers, plated salads, a buffet and the cake for our wedding. The appetizers were delicious and served by very professional staff. The salads were hearty with abundance, flavor and color. The buffet - everything from the presentation to the taste was superb. Last but not least- the CAKE! We could NOT wait a year to taste it again, so one week later- the cake top is gone! Don't look further - Deco is your #1 Choice!

We hired the Deco team to cater a wedding of 270 guests, at a country home venue about 80 miles from St Paul. From the time we met with Kasey to discuss possibilities, to the tasting event in their St Paul office, to the event itself, the Deco team was gracious, personable, polished, flexible, and very professional. Our guests raved ab out the quality of the food, but also the quality of the staff they interacted with, from the bartenders, servers, and wait staff who served appetizers, everything was first class! Oh , and did I mention, they had to pivot the reception plans because of a thunderstorm, an d they didn't miss a beat !! I would recommend then to everyone who wants to host a top-shelf even t ! Deco catering recently catered my wedding on 6.24.23 and they did an incredible job! Everything went smoothly and everyone has raved about the delicious food that was served! I ended up having someone I hadn't spoken to leading the catering at the wedding, and it went very well and had no problems.

Deco did a great job walking us through the process and helping us decide on appropriate quantities for our guest count. We got so many comments that it was the best wedding food our guests had ever had.

Deco did a truly amazing job for our reception! We had 300 people at our reception and didn’t hear a single complaint or hiccup with dinner. Deco will go above and beyond to make sure your guests have a wonderful experience. We didn't use them for a wedding but did use their services for a full 170-guest fundraising gala, VIP social, and bar service. We received only positive feedback about both food taste and their service! Working with Kacey and Sarah prior to our event was also a breeze. We will definitely contact them again for future events!

Deco was the best!! We recently had our wedding at Aria with 240 guests for a seated dinner and cocktail hour and Deco absolutely nailed every aspect of it! From the passed apps during cocktail hour to the plated dinner everyone raved about the food and service! Deco was extremely easy to work with from the take home food tasting, to the planning leading up to the big day, all the way through the day-of and clean-up. We had no issues at all and everyone loved it! 10/10 would recommend to other couples especially with their competitive pricing compared to other caterers!

Our rating primarily comes from the fiasco that was the serving our 31 guests on the day-of. We had a wonderful experience leading up to the event: they were very communicative; the food we had in our tasting was good; and we had a fruitful conversation with their operations manager a few weeks before our wedding that confirmed our seating chart and allergies. When it came to the actual serving, it was something of a mess. We had a number of guests with severe allergies, and those guests were repeatedly given the wrong plates -- with their allergens! And these same guests didn't get their food until well after speeches were underway and we were supposed to begin preparing to open the dance floor. Then, once the dance floor was opened, the food was cleared when many people hadn't had time to finish eating! When asked what was going on, they told me that it was because our guests had "changed where they sat" and "changed their order." They did not, it was a pitiful excuse to cover their own asses. We've been reassured that there have been ongoing conversations between our venue and Deco to ensure that this won't happen again, but it was very alarming to see such a logistical nightmare unfold in front of our very eyes despite, A) only having 31 people at the wedding total, and B) giving extremely explicit instructions and a seating chart well in advance. In our post-wedding communications, they were very apologetic, owned the mistake, and offered a refund, which was greatly appreciated. IDK how we could've prevented this from happening, but be aware in hiring this vendor!

Deco was the perfect wedding caterer! The tasting we attended was the best tasting we had when we were in the process of selecting a caterer. The staff was attentive and communicative.. not to mention that the food was amazing! The portion sizes were generous and they were so willing to take dietary restrictions into account. 10/10 would recommend

My new hubby and I just had our wedding at The Watson Block and it was exactly what we were looking for! The venue has a whole vibe all by itself which made decorating minimal, simple, and super cute- and very much added an extra radiance to our day/ photos. Amber and Gaby were super great and helped make the day what it was. The DECO team was also super awesome and we had the pleasure of working with Antigoni throughout our process to ensure a smooth and delicious celebration for us and our guests. I would definitely recommend securing valet (our guests were so grateful!). Deco catered our wedding last night and they did an outstanding job. We hors d'oeuvre passed around during cocktail hour and a plated meal with a wine pour for dinner. All the staff was very professional and the food was fantastic. They were quick and efficient to clear plates and passing out meals and deserts. I would definitely recommend them for your event.

Deco was absolutely fantastic. It started with our food tasting. We got to try so many options for apps, salads, mains, sides and desserts. They made the process so easy. My husband has a severe allergy and they were very easy to work with through that. Antigoni answered my (many) questions so quickly. We also had a couple of phone calls with her and she was so helpful. I was in awe of Deco on our wedding day. They worked so swiftly to serve a very large wedding in a relatively small space. The late night nacho bar was also a huge hit! I was so impressed with how everything went especially because our venue didn’t have a full kitchen and was an hour away from the cities. I’d definitely recommend using Deco!

Deco was a perfect choice for our caterer! So easy to work with, communicative, and the staff was just so on top of things. We also appreciated that they made sure we got to eat our fill before taking our plates which was so thoughtful. The food tasted AMAZING. I'm STILL thinking about the stuffed squash... The guests raved about their dishes too! They also were easy to work with on our specialty cocktail, and they made it so tasty! If you care about the food, you have to hire Deco!!!

Deco Catering went above and beyond for our wedding, the food was absolutely delicious and all of our guests gushed about it all night. Beautiful presentation as well, definitely a great choice for anyone having a wedding. You could cut the beef tenderloin with a spoon, it was that tender and the champagne chicken was out of this world!!

Deco is hands down AMAZING! When I was searching for catering for our wedding, we had multiple other catering vendors tell us that they couldn't do plated meals based off the venue that we choose. We really wanted plated meals at our wedding, and right away Deco told us that they could make that happen. We went to a taste testing and everything was SO delicious and tasted the exact same on our wedding day..WITH plated! Appetizers, dinner, and late night were so good, guests told us that their signature cake was the best that they had ever tasted. I highly recommend booking DECO! We worked with Deco for our wedding and it was a great experience! Deco was great about communicating from the get go. They answered all of our questions quickly and clearly, and were very open to making changes to accommodate our guests' various dietary restrictions. My mom in particular has a lot of dietary restrictions, and it can be hard to find foods she can eat when going out, so it meant a lot to me and to her that Deco was so flexible in making sure she would have food at the wedding. On the actual day of, everything was delicious, and our guests were impressed with their meals (highly recommend the mango salsa salmon!).

Deco Catering from engagement of the catering event through clean up and leaving are terrific. The flexibility to get just the right menu for the number of guests, what is served and when it is served are key attributes for a catering company. Dana Good and her onsite staff are professional in every way, also friendly, poised and very eager to discretely handle everything. I would definitely recommend them for any occasion.

The food was great and communication was great during the whole process. Three things to note, save your contracts/quotes/invoices in pdfs from “the portal”. Anytime something is updated or changed it will update the portal, without saving any old copies. We noticed price differences and actual wedding food choices that changed without being made aware by Deco. Also glassware ran out during our wedding and plastic had to be used, save a couple dollars and just go with plastic. Also be really firm when discussing bar limits, we asked for no shots and to stay under a dollar limit and to notify us when it was hit. Shots were passed out and the bar limit was met and went over with never being notified. FYI

Multiple guests have commented that this was the best wedding meal they have had. The food was superb!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Deco. There are so many, and not enough time in the day. The food was beautiful and delicious. Not one complaint from guests. The service was perfect and friendly. The price was so reasonable. I have not one thing negative to say. They were a huge part of making our wedding a success.

DECO catered our wedding in July 2021. Hands down, the food was fantastic. This group clearly knows what they are doing and they do it extremely well. The day of staff were extremely professional, the planning process was easy, and the menu options were extensive. Electronic payment via portal was a great benefit too. DECO supported us with passed appetizers, seated dinner, cake cutting and serving, and non-alcoholic beverages such as water, coffee, and lemonade. They even uncorked our wine with dinner and set up our late night snack station (catered by another provider). We selected beef tenderloin, wild rice stuffed chicken, and vegetable trattole for our entrees with the summer berry salad, and received a number of compliments (the salad tomato cut into a rose shape was really an impressive flair). The beef pasties and brie puffs were crowd favorites. We would definitely engage the DECO catering for future events.

We had a fabulous experience with Deco start to finish. We originally contracted with them to cater our wedding at the Machine Shop. We thought the menu looked a little old-fashioned, but the food quality was outstanding at our trial - much better than more "interesting" options we tried at other caterers - and they only charge a service fee on the food, not labor or even other fees (like many caterers do), which made their bid literally thousands cheaper. When we had to move our wedding due to COVID to a new venue with an in-house caterer, they were amazing. They switched our deposit over to them catering our rehearsal (~50 people) instead, and they did an incredible job, despite some issues with the venue (our house) not quite being ready for the event. Their staff was responsive and friendly and managed a change in our lead contact without missing a beat (not the case at many other of our vendors). I can also say that the food quality at the event matched the trial. We got so many compliments on the food - my mother-in-law still wants their short rib recipe! In short, I can't recommend Deco highly enough.

When we first worked with Deco, Danielle was our coordinator. She was incredibly knowledgeable about our venue as well as Deco’s menu options. She was wonderful to work with for our tasting, and she was super friendly. We had to postpone our 6/6/20 wedding, and she worked quickly to get us rescheduled to 6/12/21. Due to the slow roll out of the vaccine at the beginning of 2021 and 80% of our guests coming from out of state, we decided to push our date one last time to 11/6/21. As soon as we rebooked with the venue, I reached out to Danielle to reschedule again. I found out that Danielle had left Deco, and Antigoni was our new coordinator. She got us rescheduled right away which was helpful. Prior to COVID, Danielle met with us for a tasting. I can’t tell you how amazing the food was just at the tasting! I’ve been to weddings before, and most of them had average food. We did our tasting in 2019, and we kept talking about how good it was up until our actual wedding. A couple weeks before the wedding, our event manager Sam reached out to confirm all our counts and made sure we had everything we needed set up for the day. She was so easy to work with. I’m so appreciative of the entire staff at Deco! The day of, the food was just as good as we remembered! Our passed appetizers were the California sliders, sweet chili chicken skewers, and bruschetta. Our entree choices were the beef tenderloin, wild rice stuffed chicken, and three cheese lasagna. We also had a late-night snack of tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese. It’s been two weeks since our wedding, and our friends and family are still talking about the food! I’m so thankful we had such an amazing caterer. Our food was amazing, and everyone was so easy to work with!

We chose Deco to be our caterer for our wedding and could not have been happier! The entire experience with Deco from start to finish was perfect. Most of our communication was with Antigoni (Director of Sales and Operations). I could go on and on about her professionalism, expertise, positivity, and attentiveness. We opted for a more non-traditional dinner (even though they also have traditional options) and were so, so impressed. We chose fun stations such as a fajita station, mashed potato bar, and slider station. Everything was beautifully presented and prepared...our guests were raving about the food! My husband and I are out-of-state, so the planning process was more challenging; however, Antigoni (and Kasey) made it seamless with their attention to detail, flexibility, and communication. We changed the menu a few times, and collected our own antique dinner plates/glasses for our dinner and they were extremely flexible with us. It was also challenging to schedule a tasting being out-of-state, but they had no problem working around our schedules as well. We had a lot of communication with Kasey as well (Catering Operations Manager), and she helped guide us about portion sizes for our guest count and made sure we had a smoothly run dinner. Kasey was present during dinner and did an exceptional job running it and making sure our guests were not waiting around and had great judgement about when to clear the tables and start the dance.

The food at our wedding was a highlight. We loved the professional and elegance that Deco Catering provided. Working with the their team leading up to the wedding as well as the on the wedding day was seamless. We decided on a plated dinner and as it came out of the kitchen - it was displayed beautifully and incredibly tasty. We are so thankful we were able to work with Deco Catering for our wedding.

Delicious and Beautiful Food! We did butler-passed appetizers and had an appetizer buffet for dinner. All of the food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! The variety was great, and the Deco was able to accommodate the different dietary needs of our guests (vegan, dairy-free, etc. options.). The Deco was easy to coordinate with and work with. They made the perfect amount of food--everyone got enough to eat and there were hardly any leftovers. They also made our cake. We went with a carrot cake, which looked beautiful and tasted great.

I highly recommend Deco! The food was absolutely delicious and many guests commented on our choice of caterer. The presentation and quality are way beyond the typical "wedding food" and it feels like you're at a 5 star restaurant! I'm extremely happy we went with this company. They were tasty, affordable, and easy to work with.

We loved working with Deco! Not only is their food amazing - the service is second to none! Kasey was our go-to as we approached our wedding date and she was always very responsive to our questions. It was hard to choose which dishes to serve because everything was so good. Deco welcomed us to do more than one tasting so we could narrow down our menu. We landed on chicken breast, beef tenderloin, vegetarian pasta and the apple and cheddar salad. We received so many compliments from guests about the food and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! Our only complaint is that our late night snack (pizza from Green Mill) was served too early in the night (and not according to our timeline). By the time people were ready to eat it, the pizza was cold. Other than that - the food and service was perfect!

Deco Catering was incredible to work with while planning our wedding. We decided to swtich from an indoor to outdoor venue due to COVID and the entire Deco Catering team helped us pivot. They came out for a site visit, went through multiple phone calls and iterations of the menu and were a delight to work with. The quality of the food was incredible with many guests saying it was the best wedding food they had eaten. We also ordered our desserts from Deco and they were delicious. When comparing pricing to other caterers, their pricing were very, very good for the value. We can't thank Deco catering enough, especially Antigoni and Kasey!

Beginning with the tasting, Deco Catering was so wonderful to work with. I feel like typically wedding food is not a huge topic of conversation, but everyone was raving about the food at our wedding. The quality was great and the portions are sizable. No one will leave feeling hungry if you hire this company! The wait staff was also amazing as they made sure my husband and I had ALL the appetizers we could've wanted during cocktail hour. Very much appreciated!

The Deco was incredible to work with! They made everything so easy and really guided us through the food and beverage selection process. Even with the added stress of the pandemic, they just made everything so easy and the food was amazing too! Could not be more happy with how everything turned out.

Covid threw us all for a loop.. one big bash turned into two. The first-an intimate family-only soirée in September and another a full year away. The Deco rolled with us, offering multiple options and happy assurance that our demanding wishes were their specialty. And they were right! What an amazing crew of chefs and servers!! All 20 guests served under a tent on our farm loved the hot, bountiful and fabulous food. Servers ran through drizzle to serve quickly and they always stayed happy. Our glasses and stomachs were always full! It was honestly so impressive. Our big summer grill fest is in capable, creative, experienced hands. We heartily recommend the Deco for intimate and 300-person celebrations! They outdid themselves!

Cheers to Deco Catering! Their professionalism is outstanding. Antigoni and Kasey went above and beyond. Because of Covid, we had the wedding and reception outdoors in a tent in 30 degree weather. But the Deco staff was efficient and friendly despite it all! And the food was spot on - beef short ribs, pasta and chicken with wild rice. We would highly recommend Deco for any event. Bravo!

Where to start?! The employees at Deco are the best. The food is delicious. The pricing and value are hard to beat too. Deco checked all of our boxes when looking for a caterer at our wedding at the Machine Shop in NE Minneapolis. We worked with Danielle on the planning portion and Max on the execution and day-of to-dos. This company is professional to a T and really fun to work with. We opted for a buffet for our event and the food was delicious, hot and there was plenty of it!

We cannot say enough good things about The Deco. They offered the best price by far and their food and service was absolutely incredible. The quality and presentation of the food on our wedding night (for 230 guests) was just as impressive and delicious as what we had at our tasting. Danielle, their catering sales manager, made every step of the planning process so easy. She answered every little question, responded quickly, made great recommendations, and accommodated us in so many ways. She could not have been more helpful. Max, who led things day of, was equally helpful and accommodating and every catering team member we interacted with day of went above and beyond to make our day great (including one server who ensured a glass of water was at my spot throughout the night and another who packed up some of our left over donuts - which came from a different vendor - for me to take home at the end of the night). I would without question use The Deco for any future event.

We had a limited list of vendors to chose from for food and beverage. Not only was Deco the most affordable option, but the food was great too. Danielle was extremely responsive and easy to work with. She let us pay in multiple installments and special ordered Busch Light for my Dad, Fulton Seltzer for me and made sure to order a special meal to accommodate my dietary restrictions. We had light passed apps with a plated dinner. There was one small miscommunication about the open hours for the bar, but the staff on site quickly remedied it and Danielle addressed it afterwards as well.

Wow! What a great experience with DECO catering. My daughter got married on Nov 16 at Kellerman event Center and DECO was our caterer. They were fabulous! Very nice to work with throughout the process. They were accommodating, professional and most important the food gets an A plus! We had so many guests compliments on the quality of the food. We had done appetizers and a full plated meal and DECO did not disappoint. Everything was done on time and so professional. absolutely delicious. Thank You DECO!

Thank you Deco: Everything went better than expected and there were raves about the food as well as the wine & beer choices. I can’t thank you and Deco enough for making it so easy for us. I can’t imagine any wedding having better food than we had and it was so pretty too. We are in heaven because we got to take the leftovers home and have been eating them for a few days now.
