ugh that. Antigoni answered my (many) questions so quickly. We also had a couple of phone calls with her and she was so helpful. I was in awe of Deco on our wedding day. They worked so swiftly to serve a very large wedding in a relatively small space. The late night nacho bar was also a huge hit! I was so impressed with how everything went especially because our venue didn’t have a full kitchen and was an hour away from the cities. I’d definitely recommend using Deco!

My mom in particular has a lot of dietary restrictions, and it can be hard to find foods she can eat when going out, so it meant a lot to me and to her that Deco was so flexible in making sure she would have food at the wedding. On the actual day of, everything was delicious, and our guests were impressed with their meals (highly recommend the mango salsa salmon!).

Dana Good and her onsite staff are professional in every way, also friendly, poised and very eager to discretely handle everything. I would definitely recommend them for any occasion.

Also glassware ran out during our wedding and plastic had to be used, save a couple dollars and just go with plastic. Also be really firm when discussing bar limits, we asked for no shots and to stay under a dollar limit and to notify us when it was hit. Shots were passed out and the bar limit was met and went over with never being notified. FYI

DECO supported us with passed appetizers, seated dinner, cake cutting and serving, and non-alcoholic beverages such as water, coffee, and lemonade. They even uncorked our wine with dinner and set up our late night snack station (catered by another provider). We selected beef tenderloin, wild rice stuffed chicken, and vegetable trattole for our entrees with the summer berry salad, and received a number of compliments (the salad tomato cut into a rose shape was really an impressive flair). The beef pasties and brie puffs were crowd favorites. We would definitely engage the DECO catering for future events.

ter than more "interesting" options we tried at other caterers - and they only charge a service fee on the food, not labor or even other fees (like many caterers do), which made their bid literally thousands cheaper. When we had to move our wedding due to COVID to a new venue with an in-house caterer, they were amazing. They switched our deposit over to them catering our rehearsal (~50 people) instead, and they did an incredible job, despite some issues with the venue (our house) not quite being ready for the event. Their staff was responsive and friendly and managed a change in our lead contact without missing a beat (not the case at many other of our vendors). I can also say that the food quality at the event matched the trial. We got so many compliments on the food - my mother-in-law still wants their short rib recipe! In short, I can't recommend Deco highly enough.

6/20 wedding, and she worked quickly to get us rescheduled to 6/12/21. Due to the slow roll out of the vaccine at the beginning of 2021 and 80% of our guests coming from out of state, we decided to push our date one last time to 11/6/21. As soon as we rebooked with the venue, I reached out to Danielle to reschedule again. I found out that Danielle had left Deco, and Antigoni was our new coordinator. She got us rescheduled right away which was helpful. Prior to COVID, Danielle met with us for a tasting. I can’t tell you how amazing the food was just at the tasting! I’ve been to weddings before, and most of them had average food. We did our tasting in 2019, and we kept talking about how good it was up until our actual wedding. A couple weeks before the wedding, our event manager Sam reached out to confirm all our counts and made sure we had everything we needed set up for the day. She was so easy to work with. I’m so appreciative of the entire staff at Deco! The day of, the food was just as good as we remembered! Our passed appetizers were the California sliders, sweet chili chicken skewers, and bruschetta. Our entree choices were the beef tenderloin, wild rice stuffed chicken, and three cheese lasagna. We also had a late-night snack of tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese. It’s been two weeks since our wedding, and our friends and family are still talking about the food! I’m so thankful we had such an amazing caterer. Our food was amazing, and everyone was so easy to work with!

on about her professionalism, expertise, positivity, and attentiveness. We opted for a more non-traditional dinner (even though they also have traditional options) and were so, so impressed. We chose fun stations such as a fajita station, mashed potato bar, and slider station. Everything was beautifully presented and prepared...our guests were raving about the food! My husband and I are out-of-state, so the planning process was more challenging; however, Antigoni (and Kasey) made it seamless with their attention to detail, flexibility, and communication. We changed the menu a few times, and collected our own antique dinner plates/glasses for our dinner and they were extremely flexible with us. It was also challenging to schedule a tasting being out-of-state, but they had no problem working around our schedules as well. We had a lot of communication with Kasey as well (Catering Operations Manager), and she helped guide us about portion sizes for our guest count and made sure we had a smoothly run dinner. Kasey was present during dinner and did an exceptional job running it and making sure our guests were not waiting around and had great judgement about when to clear the tables and start the dance.

as it came out of the kitchen - it was displayed beautifully and incredibly tasty. We are so thankful we were able to work with Deco Catering for our wedding.

They made the perfect amount of food--everyone got enough to eat and there were hardly any leftovers. They also made our cake. We went with a carrot cake, which looked beautiful and tasted great.

ecause everything was so good. Deco welcomed us to do more than one tasting so we could narrow down our menu. We landed on chicken breast, beef tenderloin, vegetarian pasta and the apple and cheddar salad. We received so many compliments from guests about the food and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! Our only complaint is that our late night snack (pizza from Green Mill) was served too early in the night (and not according to our timeline). By the time people were ready to eat it, the pizza was cold. Other than that - the food and service was perfect!

We also ordered our desserts from Deco and they were delicious. When comparing pricing to other caterers, their pricing were very, very good for the value. We can't thank Deco catering enough, especially Antigoni and Kasey!

Servers ran through drizzle to serve quickly and they always stayed happy. Our glasses and stomachs were always full! It was honestly so impressive. Our big summer grill fest is in capable, creative, experienced hands. We heartily recommend the Deco for intimate and 300-person celebrations! They outdid themselves!

She answered every little question, responded quickly, made great recommendations, and accommodated us in so many ways. She could not have been more helpful. Max, who led things day of, was equally helpful and accommodating and every catering team member we interacted with day of went above and beyond to make our day great (including one server who ensured a glass of water was at my spot throughout the night and another who packed up some of our left over donuts - which came from a different vendor - for me to take home at the end of the night). I would without question use The Deco for any future event.

special ordered Busch Light for my Dad, Fulton Seltzer for me and made sure to order a special meal to accommodate my dietary restrictions. We had light passed apps with a plated dinner. There was one small miscommunication about the open hours for the bar, but the staff on site quickly remedied it and Danielle addressed it afterwards as well.

and most important the food gets an A plus! We had so many guests compliments on the quality of the food. We had done appetizers and a full plated meal and DECO did not disappoint. Everything was done on time and so professional. absolutely delicious. Thank You DECO!

We particularly liked that we weren't tied to using them for our alcohol. AND, even though we brought in our own dessert (which they also allow), they set up and took down the dessert table as if it were their own.

They also asked great questions that ensured we had all of our ducks in a row and that the night turned out the way we wanted it to. The day-of experience: Our actual event was led by a team member who I didn't speak with directly. There were a few items that I wasn't entirely happy with, though I absolutely acknowledge that 99% went right! When I showed up to the venue to take couple photos before the ceremony, I had Deco employees asking me questions about which glasses to use, which tables to serve first, etc. Some of this information was in the invoice, so that surprised and frustrated me a bit, especially as that's not the time I felt I should be answering questions. It didn't boost confidence with how the rest of the night would go with catering, but I'm happy to say that everything (as far as I know) went smoothly. The serving staff were super attentive and guests loved the food, which is the most important part!

as great. However, when it came time to deliver, Deco fell short. My wedding was a Thursday evening at Aria in Minneapolis (Aria told me Deco is there just about every weekend doing a wedding, so I felt very confident we wouldn’t have any issues.) The first problem was some cold appetizers. If it were just that, I’d get over it. The second, and biggest problem, was COLD DINNERS. My husband and I were served first and our food was not hot- it was warm at best. I ordered veggie pasta and the cream sauce had already congealed when it was placed in front of me. I spoke to many people after the event and asked if their dinners were cold. EVERYONE HAD COLD/WARM FOOD. Again, it wasn’t “very warm”... it was BARELY warm. A member of the bridal party’s mashed potatoes were still frozen in the middle. The third problem had to do with our cake (which we got from a different vendor). While my husband and I are still eating our cold dinners, the event lead (who never introduced herself to me— to this day I still do not know her name) rushed up to us and told us we had to cut the cake right then and there. The bridal party had just been served dinner—most of the guest tables hadn’t even been served yet. My husband and I didn’t want to have a big cake cutting ceremony in front of all the guests but we did want our parents to watch. My dad happened to walk in on the cake cutting but, because we were rushed to do it at the beginning of dinner when 90% of our guests were still waiting for their food, we couldn’t share that moment with our families. I was so very excited to work with Deco, however I was incredibly disappointed and can not recommend them.

We had the added stress of planning our wedding from out-of-state but Heikki was extremely flexible with scheduling our tasting when we were in town and always responded promptly to our emails. The Deco was by far the most accommodating catering vendor we spoke with, making our decision very easy. When asking questions about modifying menu, late night options, dessert, etc., Heikki continually answered with, "It is YOUR day, you can do what you want!" That is something we did not hear enough from other caterers we were considering. The Deco staff were friendly and professional at our wedding. If you are looking for delicious food and beautiful presentation at an extremely reasonable price AND an absolutely amazing team- I would highly recommend Deco!!

is was the best wedding food they had ever had. They LOVED the lobster quesadilla appetizer, and the garlic chicken and beef tenderloin entrees were a big hit. A surprise? The vegetarian pasta! It's amazing, I almost even ordered it for myself. Heikke and his team were attentive and quick, and they were flexible about us bringing in dessert and late night snack from other vendors, which was awesome. Highly recommend!
