The Estes Park Resort

We had our rehearsal dinner + welcome party, as well as our farewell brunch at the EPR. This was originally our top choice for our wedding venue due to the gorgeous views, but unfortunately the EPR does not allow live bands, so we decided to choose a different venue. Working with the EPR leading up to our event was a bit chaotic and unorganized, however the events ended up running smoothly. I was stressed with the amount of scattered emails and was confused at times about the prices and billing. Working with Cindy Morgan was a good experience. The AV for our slideshow kept turning off and the table decor that we discussed was not executed, but everything else, (including the food) was good! The views from the pavilion were gorgeous.

We considered this venue for our wedding until we went to the resort in early December. It is no doubt a cute venue, but I could not believe the price for what you get and what the resort actually is. The resort itself is old and the rooms are dingy. We had a sink in the middle of our room next to our bed. The carpet is dirty. I could not imagine spending the money this costs for this venue and asking guests to travel from the east coast for this. We’ve sourced venues all over and this is more than a wedding would cost in Manhattan or even the nicest resorts in Colorado Springs or the Stanley Hotel. Cute, but this is an identity crisis insofar as wedding venues go.

Overview: Super accommodating staff, beautiful views, streamlined planning - 10/10 recommend We had THE BEST experience having our wedding day at The Estes Park Resort! We hosted our ceremony at the gazebo and our reception under the pavilion in August. The views are impossible to beat and it was so nice having everyone staying onsite so that it felt like a vacation weekend with all of our loved ones. The food is catered onsite by The Dunraven Inn (which is yummy Italian food) and the venue provided all of the linens, tables, chairs, etc. to make planning simple but still providing a variety of options. The real difference maker was the team who helped on our wedding day and jumped through so many hoops to make our day special. First of all, Cindy was the coordinator and she was always there to lend a comforting voice to walk us through the wedding planning process. We were able to meet with her multiple times before the wedding to make sure we had everything organized and she was there all weekend to help with last minute tasks and keep everything flowing smoothly. BIGGEST PRO: We ended up having a crazy weather day first with storms/rain, then some strong winds, then finally a beautiful rainbow and sunset. Since we chose everything to be outdoors, this became a bit complicated but Cindy and her team were there to make everyone comfortable. They provided umbrellas during the ceremony, spiked hot chocolate and blankets during cocktail hour and dinner, and moved the tables around endlessly to make sure everyone was comfortable. I can't thank them enough for all of their hard work to ensure every single person was having a good time! Would definitely 10/10 recommend!!

The Estes Park Resort was the perfect venue for our wedding. Cindy went above and beyond for my husband and I. She is the best person to have there for you on your big day. Her consistency and honesty was really appreciated. We had such an amazing time and she was there to make sure we were enjoying everything and had everything we needed. The venue itself is gorgeous. Came out beautifully in photos. The staff was on point. Super friendly and professional. I’d 10/10 recommend this venue if you’re looking for a place to have your wedding.

If I could give more stars I would. The venue, the people, the food, everything was perfect! First, you can't beat the location. The Pavilion was rustic, yet modern. The view was breathtaking, and the location to the hotel and cabins were ideal. Second, Cindy and the Dunraven absolutely made our wedding and time there incredible. her personality is authentic, her attention to detail was appreciated, and the time spent with us elevated our whole wedding. And third, the food! I am still dreaming about the shrimp scampi! I have never been to a wedding where I have liked the food and the Dunraven produced delicious food! I contacted them every day for a week straight at several different emails and called and left voice mails with 2 different ladies each day of the week and no one would contact me back. I thought it would be a beautiful place to have my wedding but couldn't get ahold of anyone to make that happen. I even tried Facebook and Instagram to contact them. Super POOR customer service. 😢

My wife Sydney and I highly recommend the Estes Park Resort as a wedding venue. The setting is gorgeous, the venue has all the bells and whistles, and the staff will partner with you to make your vision a reality!

We fell in love with this venue the moment we saw it. It is absolutely beautiful and had everything we were looking for. When the actual wedding came, I got to see all of the wedding guests at the resort having so much fun all weekend. Cindy, the event coordinator, was amazing and made the weekend that much more special. She provided me with expectations and plenty of communication through the weekend. Huge thank you to the Dunraven (where the reception portion was at the resort) for all of their services all weekend. Loved it from start to finish.

My daughter’s wedding was at the Estes Park Resort..It was an overcast and somewhat rainy day.. but the staff at the Estes Park Resort and Cindy Morgan, the wedding planner were spectacular and made it the most special day for Greta and Tim! The wedding ceremony was at the Lakeside Pavilion and we had cocktails and appetizers there as well due to the rain while the photographer took some wedding photos. Then our reception was in the ballroom. The food was outstanding as was the service! Thank you Cindy and staff💕

I'm giving this venue 5 stars, but if I am being honest this should really be a 4.5 star review. Our experience started off as 5 stars, with great communication, a great planning process and customized options like a late night after party, and it ended as 5 stars with the most beautiful rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and brunch, everyone staying on site between the cabins and the hotel, but in the middle there was definitely some stressors as the event coordinator that we had worked with from the beginning left about 3 weeks before our wedding, and there was basically no communication about it to us. I found out when an email got bounced back that Jessica was no longer with the resort, and it took about 5 days before I finally got in touch with the new coordinator. 2 weeks before our wedding it was more than stressful, especially when every detail had been dialed in with the previous coordinator and it felt like I had to start from scratch. At the end of the day Cindy, the new coordinator, did a very good job. She worked very hard to make sure I was happy and while there were a few minor things that were missed, we made it work, and I don't think any wedding ever goes off flawlessly. Considering that she got thrown into this with so little time and had a ton of weddings before ours I completely understand why we weren't immediately prioritized. I do think just a little more communication would have put me at ease, but at the end of the day it was still perfect, we had a weekend us and our guests will never forget, and I would highly reocmmend this venue if you want an incredible, beautiful, lake mountain ceremony, and an amazing outdoor reception site and don't mind spending some serious $$ on a basically all-inclusive venue.

BLEW ME AWAY!!! We have been to Estes a # of times but never to the EP resort so we did this blind. The ceremony was at the gazebo with a mountain backdrop and the reception was at the pavilion. Everything was beautiful but what really made is special were the beautiful people who will always be a part of our special day. Cindy, the event coordinator was funny, down to earth and cool as a cucumber. Even her staff, Kyle and Tony were great guys that made everything easy. Andy (Dunraven) and Karen (GM of resort) are not to be forgotten. Thank you all for everything. Food was delicious. I had no tasting so I was going in blind and was blown away!!! You guys will always be in the memories ( and some photos) of our special day.

WOW!...we were beyond impressed with Bianca and the Dunraven Resort. Her attention to detail and guidance planning our son's Rehearsal Dinner in the Tuscan Room was incredible! The view, food, & staff were AMAZING! We also had a Welcome Party in the Outdoor Pavilion that Bianca coordinated for guests arriving on the mountain which was Outstanding! The views were spectacular and the we received special bartending service from Andy the Owner. Our night was Magical!! We received several compliments and highly recommend The Dunraven Resort for any event....as Bianca will go to great lengths to make your memory an unforgettable occasion

I will say, my husband and I LOVED the entire process. Starting with consistent communication from the entire crew ( Jessica and Josh), that was huge as we were having a destination wedding! When we arrived to the resort, I can not stress enough how amazing Josh was to me, my husband and our entire family. He made sure that EVERYTHING ran smoothly, he truly cared for us. For example, we ran through the rehearsal many times until our entire wedding party felt confident with how things would go down the day of. When considering a wedding coordinator, I would go with no one other than Josh Cromley, his large heart, and his determination to ensure you have the dream wedding you want is hands down the number one thing a couple should look for. The resort did a tremendous job choosing their staff. All coordinators should strive to be like such. The outdoor pavilion for our reception was just beautiful & the staff did an amazing job keeping our guests occupied with food and drinks! Not to mention, Josh was on stand-by the ENTIRE night to make sure my husband and I didn’t have any questions or issues. Thank you Estes Park Resort for making my husband and mines dream wedding come true! Cheers to many more years of coming back and visiting this special place.

We couldn't be happier that we had our wedding here! The entire staff is absolutely wonderful!!! Their attention to detail and desire to go above and beyond for everyone is unmatched. Jessica A. is so amazing, we loved getting to meet and work with her. She will make sure everything goes exactly how you want it to, and she will do it with the biggest, friendliest smile on her face! Not to mention, the views for our wedding were stunning. Also, the food at our reception was delicious. All of our guests comments on how great everything was. We had the salmon and steak as options with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. There wasn't one complaint. In fact, some guests are trying to recreate the salmon, lol! If you are looking for a beautiful venue with staff that will do everything they can to make your day perfect, absolutely get married here! Thank you to everyone here for making our day so perfect!

The venue was absolutely beautiful and the ease of working with them made replanning a Covid wedding a breeze. However, the food was terrible. At $80/person we wasted over 6k. When doing the tasting the salmon was delicious and our steak was medium rare, as requested. At the wedding the salmon tasted nothing like the salmon we were given and the steak was all well done, rubbery and tasted awful when we specifically stated we wanted all steak medium rare. Multiple guests commented on how terrible the food was. There were two specific types of alcoholic beverages I requested that the bar also ran out of. When I brought up the concerns after the wedding I was finally refunded a whopping $160 for the bride and groom meals. I was very disappointed. An incentive for a free weekend stay or at least more money back would have been nice considering how much we paid for what should have been a delicious meal.

My husband and I had our wedding here at the resort in 2016! It was beautiful and the resort offered everything to create our dream wedding. We had the ceremony outside under the gazebo and the reception was inside the ballroom, bar, and upper outdoor deck. The 150 guests also had access to the outdoor seating, bon fires, and yard games on the grass. The menu and food was great. You do have to use their catering and alcohol. The appetizers during cocktail hour were phenomenal and devoured by guests. The ballroom had ample space for the round tables, dance floor, self-serve candy station, and buffet. The bride and groom also get a free room on the evening of the wedding. The event manager at the time was so helpful and accommodating while we were planning and on the day of the wedding. Some things we added or bought outside of the resort to enhance the wedding: We did buy our own table and chair covers. We did hire a DJ who had floor and wall lights which made the space look great at night. We did decorate the outdoor gazebo ourselves.

We all know that Estes Park is one of the most beautiful places. The Estes Park Resort, was the most incredible and magical spot to have our wedding. It was a true fairytale wedding and I will let you know why. Not only did everything out of our control go perfect, the 70-80 degree weather in October and the dozens of Elk, that just happened to make an appearance in the lake behind us during our ceremony, but we had a dream team to work with, from the Estes Park Resort. There is a lot of planning, blood, sweat and tears that goes into making your wedding day one of the best days of your life. You want to be able to trust your event coordinator, the venue and all of your vendors, to assist you with delivering your dream come true. I want to let you know, that I put full trust and support into my wedding planner Jessica Armour, Director of Sales and Marketing, as well as Josh Cromley from The Estes Park Resort, who both played a large part in making sure our wedding went as smooth as possible. Jessica has a lot of industry knowledge and experience, which provided me with the vision and support, I needed to put my plan into action. I am very detailed oriented, I ask a lot of questions and I had high expectations, like most brides. Jessica was involved every step of the way, from start to finish. She was very thorough in executing plans and making sure every detail was taken care of. I appreciated that Josh also was there to assist us with pre-planning and the event day of, delivering every small detail we needed. Our vendors were well planned and informed, the timing was perfect, the food from the Dunraven was incredibly delicious, everyone had direction and guidance. We didn't skip a beat, because of these two. Karen Morris, the General Manager, has a professional support team in place at the Estes Park Resort, that truly delivers what you need done, in the best way possible. I appreciated working with Karen, she did everything she could from a management stand point, to ensure we had what we needed. The staff went above and beyond and were friendly and inviting to all. When I look back, there isn't a thing I would have changed. I still get emotional and have happy tears. It was truly an amazing experience, with the most incredible views. It was a wedding that belonged in a Hallmark movie. I am so happy to provide this review. Coming from a perfectionist, I was amazed and blown away, so were my family and friends. We were originally doing our ceremony in the national park and dinner at the Dunraven. Due to Covid we had to change our ceremony location and I had reached out to the Estes Park Resort. They emailed me back so quickly about all info. We met in person. They were available to help anytime via email as well. Due to bad weather on our wedding day they provided options for our ceremony location. Dinner was yummy and the personalized menu was great. Not sure if I would do much different. It was pretty great.

Our wedding day was perfect, it was absolutely beautiful & a place I dreamed to get married at since I was a little girl. Not only was it beautiful but we had the BEST wedding coordinator ever. Jessica Armour was so comforting and on top of everything. She was patient, kind and gave me the biggest welcoming hug that made everything feel like it’s all worth it. Jessica Armour at Estes Park Resort made my wedding planning so amazing!! I had to reschedule my wedding 3 times due to Covid. Jessica made rescheduling such a breeze each time! My husband and I ended up eloping at the resort and it was more than I could of ever asked for! The honeymoon suite is a definite must! It made our stay even more great! I can not brag on this BEAUTIFUL resort, the staff, the rooms, the venue, and all the helpers for our special day! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

The Estes Park Resort made our dreams come true when we asked them to host our wedding. Just like a lot of people, COVID put a damper on our wedding plans. My wife and I had already made plans to visit Estes Park for our honeymoon so we decided to take a shot and see if the Estes Park Resort would host our wedding as well. Jessica Armour was on top of it. Always answering our questions and getting back to us in a timely manner. Planning a wedding at a place we had not seen before was a scary thought but Jessica took care of us and made sure we were had everything we needed. The facilities are beautiful. The views are amazing. I am extremely happy with our choice to get married at the Estes Park Resort. Thank you, Jessica and the Estes Park Resort!

The Estes Park Resort was absolutely the perfect venue for our wedding. After having to re plan our whole wedding on such short notice this venue was very accommodating. I could not have done this without the event coordinator Jessica Armour. I cannot say enough good things about Jess, she made our day completely flawless and made sure that I remained worry free the entire time. She ensured great contact throughout the whole planning process and was an amazing “day of” person for anything that we needed at all. I would absolutely recommend booking this venue so that you have this incredible event coordinator and her resort staff. The scenery at the venue is breathtaking and we loved the option for an outdoor but covered event. Every detail was exactly how we imagined; I can’t thank the resort staff enough. I would recommend this venue to anyone; you won’t be disappointed.

The Estes Park Resort hit the jackpot when they hired Jessica Armour. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day vision come to life. From the moment she arrived on our wedding day to the moment she left, she made sure that everything we planned for fell into place. She communicated effectively and picked up all the pieces of our planning after the resort's previous sales manager left. While I do wish the ceremony had been more intimate (the lake is a public location and guests were able to watch our ceremony from their balconies), The Estes Park Resort made our wedding day everything we wanted it to be. The food was delicious, the set up was beautiful, and the views from the pavilion were breathtaking.

The first thing I can say is the Estes Park Resort did a major turn to the best when they hired Jessica Armour as their sales director. Great personality, communications skills, very informative and waste no time paying attention to all the important details. Jessica is all that anyone needs to be planning and putting together a day and lifetime full of fond memories! Estes Park Resorts is so very fortunate in their direction they have chosen to go for their clients.

Jessica is amazing! We were concerned at first about Estes Park Resort with reviews saying they are hard to get a hold of but Jessica changed all of that. She was super friendly, extremely helpful and was always available to answer any question I had. If you're a person like me, who likes to call anytime for a quick question, Jessica is your person. I would recommend Estes Park Resort just so you can work with her.

My fiance and I went and toured their venue and loved it. It checked off most of our boxes for our dream wedding (except for the high price). I was in contact with the wedding coordinator the next day, told her how much we loved the facility, and she said she would send us over a quote. After that I heard nothing from her. I sent her multiple follow up e-mails and voicemails, but still received nothing in return. Finally, over a month later I got her on the phone. She said she had our e-mails up in front of her and was working on the quote then and that I would have it by the end of the day. Once again, I received nothing. I called her back the next week, left another voicemail, and sent her another e-mail. Needless to say we found another venue that is way more our speed and the coordinators are happy to work with us.

I had my rehearsal dinner here for my winter wedding on a Friday evening. Kaleigh and her team did amazing!!! They went above and beyond. I had more guests than anticipated and they adjusted to that easily. I also was on a budget and worried about not having enough decoration. Kaleigh and her team stepped in and decorated, fixed my photos and setup the room for us which helped ease my stress. The food was delicious. My guests were happy and we were happy!!! (I even randomly left $250 sitting on a table and staff was honest and brought it to me) As long as you have Kaleigh as your contact you are in great hands. Thank you for a dream wedding weekend!!!

When first looking for venues on The Knot, we thought this was our top choice. However, upon trying to contact them several times, we got little to no response. Our request for a tour was completely ignored. It would appear that this venue is no longer interest in hosting weddings.

The Estes Park Resort is amazing! We had our wedding reception there and everyone who helped us plan from our first wedding venue search visit to Estes Park to the end of our wedding day was amazing. It was a destination wedding where our entire bridal party and the rest of our guests were coming from 7 different states. They were very accommodating in regards to room requests. We had about a dozen rooms and all of our guests enjoyed their stay. From bartender, to chef, to Front Desk Supervisor, to the Sales Director, it was a team effort that felt like the entire resort staff was all working together to provide personalized service to ensure all our requests were met. Our wedding reception was everything we hoped for and more!

We had our wedding on October 20, 2018 and it couldn't of been better. The entire weekend was great, the only complaint I would have was the cards for the doors kept not working and had to go back to the front desk multiple times to get a new card activated. The planning process was a little shaky at times, going through 3 different coordinators but Rebecca was wonderful and the staff made it the most perfect and smooth day! The pictures from the day were beautiful, amazing venue and the accommodations for myself the night before and day/night of the wedding were spot on. All of my guests agree, beautiful venue with an overall great experience.

We found the venue on August 25th 2017 and were married August 25, 2018. Over the course of the year we dealt with three different “coordinators” also know as sales staff... in charge of sales and planning your wedding and several other brides. The communication was absolutely ridiculous. I would go weeks and sometimes months without hearing back from someone about the wedding I was spending so much money on! They’re building a beautiful wedding pavilion out front and there are going to be A LOT of angry brides when they find out what they’re dealing with. Our wedding was destination so we had to plan all over email which Rebecca RARELY replied to. We went to visit the venue three days before the wedding and were greeted by being asked if we were interested in the ceremony or reception location.... for the wedding that was three days away. The music was on on the patio during our ceremony and when asked why she said “I sent a text to turn it off...” from the time I walked down the isle I didn’t see her again until 11pm when she rudely entered without speaking to us and began turning lights on and cleaning. We were told she would be there all evening directing guests. Our photographer even noticed the poor service without warning her directly. Truly an embarrassment.

When looking for a venue, we thought the Estes Park Resort would be a great fit for us. We emailed three times over the course of 3 weeks. After this we were discouraged and called the front desk. They said they were busy and would call us back, which they did and stated they would pass our information along to the wedding group. Another week passed and we did not get a response. We were very disappointed but dropped by the resort one afternoon. After seeing the service provided by the front desk and in the restaurant we wondered how a business could run this way. Very, very Disappointing.

We LOVED our time at Estes Park Resort for our February Wedding. We held our rehearsal dinner here, and also used them for some of our room blocks. All our guests raved about their amazing staff and service, and loved the food at our rehearsal dinner. Our friends had a great time at the bar, and appreciated that their hotel rooms were placed close to the rehearsal dinner space and bar space during their weekend stay. We would most definitely recommend them to anyone, and will be returning in the future. The location is convenient and beautiful, and the staff was such a joy to work with!

The place was great!! Sophia and staff were wonderful and the food was exceptional!!

Mixed reviews – read on. The good: Erin Stapelman recently took over as an event coordinator and was amazing! Once she was on seat, everything was great. Frequent and easy communication and she was on site to make sure we had everything we needed. She is willing to work with you and make your even special. The good: The food – The chef was great. The food was tastey, served promptly, and in good proportions. Yum. The bad: The reception desk. Often they don’t know where a manager is when needed and worst of all, they overbooked rooms and left 2 of our guests scrambling to find somewhere to sleep at 1130pm. This caused my husband to have to leave the party and argue with the reception desk for nearly a half hour in the middle of the event. Not cool…

The Estes Park Resort was absolutely beautiful. It exceeded my expectations in every way!! My day was completely flawless and everything I wanted and more. Jamie remembered all I told her and I didn't have to worry about anything my wedding day but having fun!! Go with The Estes Park Resort if you want a fun, beautiful, no stress Wedding in the beautiful mountains with an amazing backdrop inside the reception. I can't recommend them enough!!!!

I got married at the Estes Park Resort on May 23, 2015 and could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day and planning process! I was planning from out of state and working with Jamie Reed was wonderful. Her attention to detail and responsiveness was amazing. She had great ideas and was genuinely invested in helping us plan the perfect wedding. Most of our guests were from out of stat and stayed at the resort. Everyone enjoyed their rooms and the resort. Guests could easily walk to the town of Estes Park, which was really nice. The day of the wedding was wonderful. The weather was a little unpredictable but Jamie made sure to check in with us during the day so we would know exactly what to expect if we had to change plans for the ceremony. Fortunately, we were able to hold the ceremony outside and the view was gorgeous! I just received my photos and the backdrop is so picturesque! Chef Aaron worked with us from the tasting to the reception. He was really receptive to our feedback on the menu and did such a great job with dinner the night of. We had many guests comment on how good the food was! The reception was so much fun and James and Jeff (awesome bar tenders) even kept the hotel bar open a little later than usual to accommodate an after party. I can't say enough good things about the resort and ALL the staff! Everyone at The Estes Park Resort is dedicated to helping you plan a wonderful event and they work hard to make you feel at home while you are there. I can't wait to return for an anniversary in the future!

This venue was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was amazing! I am so glad we chose to have our wedding here! Food was great, the service was awesome and the venue was breath-taking!

My son and daughter in law had their wedding reception at The Estes Park Resort in October. The Chef (Jon), Kevin, and Sophia were organized and professional. The accommodations were top shelf and the food was delicious. The fact that it was served quickly, professionally, and with great attitude was a bonus. The entire staff was caring and worked very hard to make sure my kids big day went perfectly. I can highly recommend this resort and staff.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION is about the only positive thing that I can say about this venue. We loved our room, although some of our guests were unhappy and even left early. The food was fantastic. For a wedding venue, though, we had so many problems mostly dealing with inexperienced staff. A couple of weeks before my wedding, the coordinator I had been working with left, and the original marketing/sales lady that I had dealt with was also out for the next couple of months. (Other reviews on this site from 2012 and 2013 sound great, but any from 2014 are having the same issues that I did, so it may be all about the change in management.) First of all, I was told that we could easily plug in an iPhone to play music outside for the ceremony, and even confirmed this with the new coordinator weeks in advance, but at 8:00 on Friday night (when my wedding was at 11:00 the next morning), she did not have any way to play music outside! Isn't the music a basic element of a wedding? This is inexcusable. She asked MY DAD to stop at Radio Shack the next morning and purchase a speaker system with his own money! Then we went inside to see how to set up the music in the reception room, and she couldn’t get that to work either! She even broke my cell phone case trying to plug it in. Also in the reception room, she couldn’t get the fireplace to work. Later, my maid of honor tried to call the front desk, and ask them to please have the coordinator call me when she first got in the next morning, and we discovered that the phone in the room didn’t work, so we used our cell phones to call the front desk, room service, etc all weekend. By the way, the coordinator never did call me the next morning. I didn’t see her until a minute before my ceremony, when my guests were already seated, and she was sweeping up leftover rose petals in the aisle from a wedding the previous day. Tacky! At the reception, we had to argue with a server to get us a bottle of wine. He first told me (the bride!) to go get it myself from the bar downstairs, then took out the contract and showed me that only champagne was included, so I couldn't have wine! When it was all over, and we went to check out the next morning, our bill was a mess, and has yet to be resolved, almost two weeks later. One disappointment after another. It all boils down to young people with no experience. This is such a beautiful establishment, and has the potential to be fabulous. But a “resort,” it is not. A nice hotel, at best. Not at all equipped to handle weddings and other important formal events. I believe that if they were to hire a mature and truly experienced manager, they could turn it around and be great. Until then, I’m sorry to say, it’s a joke.

DO NOT GET MARRIED HERE! We chose this resort as the location for our wedding reception. During our 10 month engagement we worked with THREE different wedding coordinators (no they didn’t have more than 1 one on staff, they just couldn’t keep anyone there very long) and after our wedding there was a new one brought in. The wedding coordinator we did work with was horrible! The closer it got to the wedding the less and less she responded to our emails/calls, the morning of the wedding we got an email from her about the decorations, a little late?! They were also way understaffed for our event which led to things like no napkins during cocktail hour and not replenishing the crackers with the dips, even after they were asked to. They were also way off schedule for our reception and poured miniscule amounts of champagne in the glasses for the toast. As for the venue itself, the view is nice but the ballroom that the receptions are held in is nothing special, expect to pay $1000 extra for some decent chairs and drapery to hide the ugly folding wall. The wedding coordinator had no interaction with us the day of and neglected to tell us when we had hit our max for booze, costing us to go over our limit by $1000. When we went to check out we were told that they didn’t have the final bill for us because they were not sure how the bartender had been tallying the drinks…then when we got home from our honeymoon we were chastised for not paying it right away and threated to be taken to collections. After my family and I reached out to the GM about the poor service we had received, we received even worse service from her! She refused to take any responsibility for any of the problems, would not return phone calls or emails and ran our card without our permission. For the amount of money we spent with them we could have gotten married anywhere in Estes Park and received MUCH better service. I will never do business with this company again and will recommend against it to everyone I know. Do yourself a favor and take your money someplace else, there are so many other beautiful places in Estes that will work harder for you!

I had my June wedding at the Estes Park Resort and I couldn't be happier. I had envisioned an outdoor ceremony and an indoor/outdoor reception and they had it all!! They were always very responsive and flexible to make sure my day was everything I had envisioned. The event coordinator, wedding coordinator, servers, bartenders, front desk workers (basically everyone!) was so helpful and professional. The Estes Park Resort made my wedding weekend one that I will always remember!!

I chose to have my wedding in Estes Park because I always visited as a child during the summers. As soon as we visited The Estes Park Resort we fell in love with the location! Our ceremony was on the lawn near the lake and reception was in the ballroom. The ladies at the resort were always so helpful and made it a breeze to plan my wedding! I was able to bring in my homemade vases, favors, and decorations and it was everything I imagined and more. The food was amazingly delicious and we are still getting compliments on our wedding!

My son's rehearsal dinner was planned for September 13, 2013 at The Estes Park Resort. Every time we visited to plan our dinner Jamie and Caitlin were so very pleasant and helpful. On the morning of September 12th we woke up to the news of the devastating Colorado flood. All of our months of planning the wedding were washed away. The ONE place that came thru was The Estes Park Resort! Jamie and Caitlin both went out of their way to help us! We ended up being able to have our rehearsal dinner and it was GREAT! They even both helped us put together decorations, because the florist was no longer available. (The florist actually lost her home and everything she owns in the flood)We were not originally planning to have our ceremony at The Resort, but after such a lovely time on Friday night we decided to have the ceremony on the lawn there the next morning. It turned out beautiful!!!! It could not have been any better! Because of the flood the waitstaff could not get to work and Jamie and Caitlin personally waited tables, set up food, and did EVERYTHING!!! Also, their other employee James went over and above the call of duty! He was there Friday night and Saturday morning doing everything we needed! I cannot even begin to say enough good things about these people! They turned a catastrophic situation around and made it memorable for my son and his bride and I want to thank them so very much!
