The Gallery

My husband and I recently had our wedding at The Gallery. We had it during the "off season" so we got $6 off per plate. Bar was included and it was only $42/person for a buffet with prime rib, chicken, pasta, fish and passed apps. There was only one instance where Pam forgot we were supposed to meet but honestly, it didn't do anything to my opinion of them. Pam was an awesome coordinator, helped us through each step and carried through all of our ideas flawlessly. This is not a place for a bride who has to be hands-on with everything. All we had to do was tell Pam what we wanted and how we wanted it, drop stuff off a couple days before and it was completely set up the day of-we didn't have to do anything! We had so many compliments about how awesome the wedding was and how great everything looked and we didn't feel like we did that much (obviously we did, we were pretty diy but it was put together perfectly)! They also have an in-house DJ (DJ Paulie). When you book with The Gallery, he is only $600 more and he was so easy to work with! He was so friendly, listened to what we wanted and made it happen. I highly recommend the whole package!

The staff here is wonderful. Pam was not only a wonderful owner, but I felt as if I had my own wedding planner! The staff was very professional, detail oriented, and truely caring to all of our guests. Food was amazing!! I would recommend the gallery to all brides!

This place was THE BEST decision we made for our wedding day. Pam was the best coordinator we had met with. Looking at other issues we were coming across when booking our day, she was the only one willing to let us try the food for free (we took home 3 different entrees to try), decorate and even assemble things for us (favors, centerpieces, etc), give us the best value with providing decorations themselves (flower arrangements, decorated archway, etc.), and be the most willing to work around anything. We changed so many things along the path of our planning and Pam was always there to say, "Whatever you want, it's your day!" She even added some arroz con pollo (spanish rice and chicken) to our buffet option to make our guests happier as we are half hispanic. The only bummer was that the air conditioner broke the day of my wedding...on the hottest week of the year. But they pulled out the fans, pointed them to the dancefloor, which then convinced the guests to spend the night on the dancefloor!

The gallery was great. It is a quaint size. (held 100 perfectly) It is wooden/rustic looking on the inside. Big windows and great lighting. The price was very good compared to other CT venues and was even better with a buffet and a Sunday discount. The staff was very easy to work with and very understanding.
