I was also obsessed with the wooden farm tables they use for cocktail hour stations and the sweetheart table. And the sunset view!!! Just stunning. It's worth booking at the Garrison just for that alone. (Make sure you take sunset photos with your photographer). Aside from that, the service is amazing. We worked with Annie and she was incredible. From the moment we booked with the Garrison she was so helpful and super responsive to all of my emails. She answered all of our questions and was great at advising us. On the day of, she was on top of everything and always there if we needed anything. Fatima, my bridal assistant was amazing too. We felt so taken care of all day. The servers and bartenders and all of the staff were great too. All of our guests had a great time and said they never had to wait long for a drink and dinner service was perfect as well. Everyone said the food was delicious too. The pass arounds at cocktail hour were amazing, as well as the stations and the dinner entrees. I can't recommend the Garrison enough! An amazing place to get married!

ith the breathtaking views overlooking the Hudson River. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding day.
The level of service we received throughout the entire process was exceptional. The staff worked incredibly hard to deliver on all of our needs and were extremely accommodating every step of the way. They provided linens, guidance on linen services when needed, and even gave us excellent vendor recommendations that helped make planning so much easier.
The food was absolutely to die for and was cooked perfectly. Our guests are still talking about how amazing everything tasted. The service staff was phenomenal — attentive, quick, and so seamless that they were practically like ninjas throughout the night. Everything was handled efficiently without ever feeling intrusive.
The bar staff and bartenders were equally incredible and made every effort to accommodate us, even helping craft signature drinks exactly to our liking. The team also allowed us to bring all of our props, signage, and arrangements the day before, which made setup and wedding-day logistics significantly less stressful.
Most importantly, Bridget Bell, our day-of service coordinator, was truly the cherry on top that brought everything together. She made both my wife and me feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire day while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Without Bridget, I honestly do not even want to think about what could have happened. Her professionalism, organization, and calming presence were absolutely invaluable.

ried anywhere else. Aside from the beautiful views and interior of the venue (we like to call the vibe rustic elegance), what solidified our decision to get married there was the staff. Bridget, our day of planner, was so organized and on point from our very first meeting. We left our first meeting feeling complete clarity about our package and what our day would look like. She did not try and upsell us or force us into any decisions—she took our lead and made sure the decisions we made, while made together, reflected our unique vision and desires for our wedding. And during the year and nine months between our first meeting and the wedding, she was always available and extremely responsive when it came to any questions (of which we had many) or further decisions we needed to make. She really did so much to make wedding planning enjoyable and less stressful for us because we were fully confident that everything would come together perfectly with her at the helm. And boy did it come together. The wedding was literally perfect—we actually had many people (of all ages) tell us it was the best or one of the best weddings they ever went to, largely because of the venue and because of Bridget and the rest of the staff. Everyone marveled at the views, stepping out to take pictures at sunset (despite the cold), raved about the amount of and quality of the food, and talked about how seamlessly the wedding flowed (starting from the time we started to get ready). It truly was a magical day, with consistently high energy, and not one thing went “wrong.” A month later and we are still thinking and talking about the wedding every day with our friends and family. The bridal attendant was also FANTASTIC—she helped me put my dress on properly, made sure my hair always looked good, talked me through every moment, including how to walk down the aisle and ensure my tears did not ruin my makeup, and ensured we were always fed and had drinks available. As a control freak, I can confidently say this was one of the few times I felt comfortable and confident relinquishing control, because I knew we were/the wedding was in good hands. 10/10 recommend having your wedding at the Garrison!!

From the moment the day began, they made everything feel seamless and stress-free. Annie and Fatmira went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy each moment. Their professionalism, kindness, and calm energy made such a difference.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The views were breathtaking and created the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and photos. Both we and our immediate families stayed at the Inn on-site, and the rooms were perfect, comfortable, clean, and such a special part of the overall experience. Our guests also loved staying in the Inn rooms. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready; it was spacious, beautiful, and a relaxing place to spend the morning with my bridesmaids.
We have received countless compliments from our guests not only about the gorgeous venue, but also about the incredible food and the outstanding service. Everything truly exceeded our expectations.

Leading up to the wedding, she helped us feel confident in our wedding day plan and we really didn’t feel any stress for the day of logistics. The rest of the Garrison staff was also incredible and attentive and kept everything running smoothly the entire day. It ended up snowing on our wedding day in April and the staff was unfazed and quickly moved everything inside for the ceremony. They would’ve kept the ceremony outside if we really wanted, they truly encourage you to have the wedding that you want from start to finish. The setting is breathtaking, and knowing there was a thoughtful rain plan in place allowed us to enjoy the day without stress. The food was another standout - every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and far beyond what anyone expects from “wedding food.” Our guests are still raving about it!!
What impressed us most was the way everything flowed. Cocktail hour was so full of food and drinks, that we went straight into dancing. The energy never dipped, and the dance floor stayed full all night. The entire staff was professional and attentive throughout.

beautiful photos we’ve ever seen. The scenery is so stunning and romantic. The venue works tirelessly to upkeep the property and they do a phenomenal job. We were catered to from the start of the day to the end. Anything we needed we knew Annie and Fatima had our backs. I got to meet Annie a while back, she very quickly eased any questions and concerns we had. We got to meet Fatima the day before the wedding and she was immediately ready to help and get us ready for our big day. We live out of state so getting everything organized was a bit messy on arrival, but between Annie and Fatima, they were ready to rip into the mess. So grateful for them to organizing the absolute perfect day for us. It could not happen without them. On top of the staff being so ready and receptive to us, the FOOD! Annie, our wedding coordinator, was such a pleasure to work with and made the entire planning process leading up to the wedding as well as the wedding day itself as seamless as possible. Her professionalism, expertise, and care really made it a perfect day.
The Garrison also has an incredible list of preferred vendors. We ended up choosing nearly all of our vendors from their list and could not be more happy with how everything turned out!

We had the pleasure of working with Bridget, and she, along with her incredible team, made the entire experience seamless. She understood our vision and helped make it come to life. She answered all our questions and put our mind to ease.
We used some vendors recommended from the Garrison and they were amazing. Our wedding day ran so smoothly, I didn’t have to think about a single thing. Just before our outside ceremony it started to sprinkle, and I was told the staff jumped right into action and dried off the seats the moment it stopped.
The food was absolutely incredible. I was a little nervous about not having a tasting beforehand, but everyone reassured me to trust that it would be amazing. They were right, it exceeded all expectations! The sushi station we added was a huge hit with our guests, and every single person raved about how delicious everything was.
I really hope someone I know gets married here so I can experience as a guest. If you are considering The Garrison for your wedding, do it. You will not regret it, 1000/10 recommend! I could go on and on about how incredible our experience was.

ne of the most important days of our life. I immediately got in touch with Bridget, who from day one was super accessible, transparent, kind and willing to work with us. Bridget walked us through the entire planning process, from a tasting where we were made to feel super special by the wonderful Fatima (who ended up being our day of attendant and was AWESOME) to every last detail of our special day. The venue itself is gorgeous, the sunset over the mountains, the floor to ceiling windows, the beautifully maintained grounds - our guests were in AWE. The staff was wonderful, they made sure to treat our wedding party extra special and gave great service to our guests. My morning getting ready in the bridal suite was peaceful and easy and Bridget and Fatima kept things on task. We knew our day was in great hands with Bridget and the team at The Garrison and we can't thank them enough for making our wedding such a memorable and beautiful day.

eciated that their indoor ceremony space also overlooked the beautiful scenery, and that even during the reception, our guests could admire the view and sunset. We can't count the amount of compliments we got from our guests on The Garrison, from how beautiful the space and views were to how great the food and staff were.
I also loved that we were the only wedding held that day so I had access to the bridal suite (which is really big and comfortable) for the entire day.
We worked with Annie as our day-of-coordinator, and she was AMAZING!! She is a total pro, and throughout the entire wedding planning process she was so helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable. Annie coordinated with our other vendors and helped us get every detail in order so that during the actual day, everything went so smoothly and we didn't have to worry about any logistics.
Our whole experience with The Garrison was seamless, and we would recommend that everyone have their wedding there!

Bridget was there every step of the way even before we put down our deposit. She was amazing from answering all our questions , responded quickly to emails, eased any sort of worry I had. I always thought wedding planning would be stressful..and I can say it honestly was not because everything here is so thorough and relaxed.
The venue is BEAUTIFUL inside and out. Luckily weather agreed with us so we could get married outside but they were prepared to shift last minute Inside ( which is just as beautiful) needed be which was great.
The food was talked about for weeks after as well, all our guests raved that it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had and we agree!
I can go on forever but if you want a wedding that checks every box…the garrison is your place. I would choose it again and again.

ithout this venue or its amazing staff. Annie - our day of coordinator displayed expertise, patience, and knowledge guiding us through a million schedule changes, potential thunderstorms, and the whole wedding process. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and made us feel calm, comfortable, and confident in our decision making for our big day. The staff was easy to work with and professional, and our bridal assistant was on top of all of the small things and any request we had. The Hudson valley back drop completely awed our guests, with tons of friends and family taking pictures of the incredible landscape (and us!). We highly recommend the Garrison for anyone looking for amazing views, great food, and an awesome staff.

We had our whole wedding weekend at The Garrison, from the rehearsal dinner, wedding, accommodations, to a post wedding brunch. They have it all and every point of the weekend went off without a hitch.
Every guest of ours made it a point to tell us this was the best and most beautiful wedding venue they had ever been to.
Annie, the bridal assistant Fatima and the whole staff at The Garrison are true professionals. Every last detail was thought of and they made it so my husband and I did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day.
I am beyond grateful for the experience with The Garrison and I have absolutely no second thoughts about my wedding. It was the most enchanting and magical day of our lives.

machine and have a team of professionals, from top to bottom. The food was OUTSTANDING, I still dream about that short rib dish. Bridget was also incredible throughout the planning stages and really walked us through everything, making sure we felt comfortable and more importantly, excited for our big day. It happened to rain on our wedding day and I was genuinely so impressed with how the team and the venue handled that change of plans. It was seamless and at the end of the day, I don't at all feel like I missed out on anything. The grounds and the location itself are stunning and it's hard to take a bad picture here. There was plenty of space for us to get ready beforehand and the venue truly took care of every single detail making my day less chaotic and allowing me, as the bride, to really enjoy my wedding and not fret about the details. I have no complaints at all, The Garrison was a wonderful venue to get married at and I recommend it highly.

orked with Annie and from the beginning, we knew we were in great hands. All of our emails were answered immediately and her expertise of how a wedding should go made our lives 1000x easier. Fatima was also my bridal assistant for the day, and her joyous demeanor was infectious!
My bridal party and I got ready in their bridal suite, which was equipped with two salon chairs and a little sitting area. It was so nice to be able to get ready at the venue and not have to worry about being transported anyway else.
During the wedding, our guests were blown away by the venue and kept complimenting the staffs’ professionalism. And the food! Oh my god, the food was out of this world.
We could not have asked for a better experience with The Garrison! We are eternally grateful to every staff member who made our day one to remember!

tes after getting dressed and as I was about to head downstairs for our first look, I spilled bright green matcha all down the front of my wedding dress. Our bridal assistant, Fatima, immediately jumped into action. While I believe I saw a brief moment of terror in her eyes in the second after it happened, she calmly reassured me that it was not a big deal (though I knew very well that it was), and ran to get a stain remover wipe. Between her and my sister/MOH, the stains were reduced at least enough to get to the first look photos (with a well-placed bouquet). I was incredibly fortunate to have already planned an outfit change for our tea ceremony, so after I changed into my other dress, Fatima and Adam (who wasn't even supposed to be involved in my wedding at all!) whisked my white dress away and started working on it. When the tea ceremony was over, I returned to the bridal suite to find my dress completely recovered - it somehow looked brand new. Fatima and Adam, you literally saved my wedding day. I can never thank you enough.
As every other reviewer has said, we feel so lucky to have found The Garrison for our wedding. Bridget coordinated everything flawlessly. Every detail, every cue. She was accessible and communicative during the planning phase, and that didn't change on the day of the wedding. She was flexible with every change that we asked to make both before and during the wedding. Every part of the team was praised in the days afterwards by our families - the food, the service, the drinks, and the way that everything came together to create the perfect event. I could go on and on about how smooth, fun, and beautiful our wedding was thanks to The Garrison! But in summary, the coordination with Bridget was spot-on, the food was delicious, the venue and views were stunning, and our bridal assistant, Fatima, made us feel cared for, loved, and special the entire day. Anyone would be lucky to work with this team for their wedding.

ince we signed our contract with The Garrison in April of 2022, I had the utmost pleasure of working with Annie throughout our planning. She was super attentive, quick to respond, and patient with all of my questions, changes, and thoughts when it came to planning. She was honest and always gave great suggestions when I wasn’t sure about something, and I am definitely type A when it comes to certain things but Annie was always able to reassure me that our wedding day would be perfect no matter what and sure enough, she was right! The day of our wedding, Fatima was my bridal assistant and she super attentive, always catering to me and my hubby if we needed anything from food, drinks, assistance with outfits changes, anything! The bridal suite was also convenient for my bridal party to get ready in and kept everyone in one place. Our guests raved about the food, the staff, and of course the wonderful views! Richard and Fatima ended the night with us and helped us pack everything in an organized and efficient manner. We stayed in The Inn the night before, and the room was clean and cozy with amenities available. Would definitely recommend this venue for any event! Thank you so so much for everything! since my husband and I had our wedding here because I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. The Garrison has everything you could possibly ever want and need in a wedding venue. 1) The views - the possibilities for photos are endless with absolutely gorgeous views of the hudson river and such well kept grounds. They even provide a golf cart for you to get around which made for a fun little adventure. 2) The food - I can't say enough about how delicious the food was and neither could our guests! People couldn't stop raving about the endless options at cocktail hour and the tenderness of their steaks, many proclaiming that this was the best food they had ever had at a wedding before. 3) The staff and management team - I saved the best for last here, because our day would not have been as perfect as it was without the help of the exceptional staff at the Garrison. Annie was our coordinator and she made us feel so comfortable the minute we met her when we toured the venue which was a huge selling point when we made our decision. She was so responsive to both mine and my husband's continuous emails and phone calls with questions and never made it seem like we were bothering her. She really went out of her way to make sure our day went more smoothly than I could have ever imagined and I really can't thank her enough! Tara, our assistant always made sure our drinks were full, set up food for us so we could have time alone after our ceremony, drove us around in the golf cart, and overall just made sure I was always ok. To the rest of the staff team, thank you so much for all that you did to make our day so special! Our wedding at the Garrison was a dream come true!

Annie made the entire process enjoyable and as easy as possible, and is an absolute GEM! She is truly the best of the best. Day of, everyone made us feel so welcome and taken care of-- the bridal assistant Fatima went above and beyond for me. Even though we ended up having to have our ceremony indoors because of rain, I couldn't have asked for a more magical day. member was professional and supportive. Bridget guided us through every detail and made it look easy. When it looked like it might rain, Bridget had the ceremony set up both outside AND inside so we could pivot quickly, and it was entirely due to her planning and expertise that we were able to ultimately have it outside. Would highly recommend!
