There are not enough words to express how wonderful it was to work with the staff at Highland Manor to create our wedding vision. From day one, we knew Highland Manor was where we wanted to have our special day. Throughout the planning, the team was super responsive to all of our requests and questions. We were so blessed to have Kristen as our coordinator. She was genuinely excited for us. Her organization, thoughtfulness, suggestions, and willingness to accommodate our requests, made our experience stress-free. Our day was magical and flawless, despite being between two hurricanes, thanks to Kristen, Omar and Juan - our team. They were at our beck and call with graciousness. And, the food was so good! Our guests raved about it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We highly recommend Highland Manor and its team of professionals. The BEST day ever!
The planning was very easy with this venue and it is tucked away in Apopka to create a beautiful spot. Everything went so smoothly. My day-of coordinator David was very organized and helpful! I highly recommend this venue.
The moment I saw pictures of the Highland Manor on The Knot while starting my venue search, I knew it was where I wanted to get married. The beautiful house was exactly the kind of place I dreamed of getting married but never thought would be possible in a place like central Florida. This is a perfect little piece of history to get married at. The team were so accommodating and made sure that we were taken care of the entire day. Working with David was wonderful and he really made sure that every outcome we wanted happened. I couldn’t be happier with everything that happened on our wedding day and it all started with the Highland Manor. Tens! Tens! Tens across the board! (Even though I can only give 5 stars).

My husband and I were having a tough time finding a wedding venue that really matched our vision, until we found The Highland Manor! The manor is beautiful, inside and out. The huge tree that you get married under is stunning. It is literally 20 feet from the Hilton Garden Inn Apopka City Center, which we found very convenient and safe for anyone having a few drinks to walk on over and spend the night. The Highland Manor is a well oiled machine, from your first tour until cleanup on the wedding night. And if you are doing their complimentary food tasting after booking with them, I cannot stress this enough, come HUNGRY because they give you SO much food to try.
The person I want to highlight the most is Kristen, who was our day-of coordinator. From the moment Kristen was assigned to be our coordinator, she was absolutely amazing. She answered all of my detailed questions that I emailed, she corralled my wedding party like a champ during the rehearsal, and she made my life incredibly easy on the day of the wedding. She was super responsive anytime I texted her that the decorations or desserts or what-have-you were on their way, and she made my vision for the decorations come to life with basically no direction to go on because I failed to provide her pictures LOL. We can't thank Kristen enough. I also want to highlight Juan, who was our butler for the evening. Juan was absolutely perfect and so helpful. Before and after your ceremony, you are provided complimentary beverages by your assigned butler, and Juan made sure we were constantly taken care of! He also held my bouquet and train of my dress while I enjoyed a few moments of eating appetizers and having some sips of champagne in between all the pictures after the ceremony.
As someone who stresses a lot and did not decide to have a wedding planner, I know we made the perfect choice with The Highland Manor for our ceremony and reception. They are the true professionals and made sure we had nothing to worry about from day one through even after the wedding day.
One final thing - there is a peacock that roams the grounds named Frank (or Mark). You might just be lucky enough to see him on your big day!
The team helped every step of the planning process. Beautiful venue and has everything you need for your wedding day. The day of the wedding was perfect. Everything went smoothly and every guest had an amazing time. Kristen was our day of coordinator and she was such a big help and answered all our questions.
Where do I begin?? The venue itself is beautiful and Dubs is a pro at weddings. I am so grateful this venue provided a wedding coordinator and it made the world's difference. I was in good hands from beginning to end.
The planning process was organized, and easy, and our coordinator Kristen was great at giving input. The tasting, food, and drink were delicious! The entire day was so smooth thanks to Dubs and Highland Manor.

We fell in love with the Highland Manor during our first visit. What stood out to us was the homely feel, the wood detailing, and the beautiful Christmas trees and decor.
The staff was extremely professional and made our day run seamlessly. Kristen, our venue coordinator was very helpful and accommodating. The food is excellent! Our guests loved it. Best wedding venue in town!
The venue is breathtakingly beatiful. I had a classic, clean vision for my wedding, and the venue had all of the 18-19th century charm I adore. From older funiture and classice decorations, to wooden bars, this place is rustic and old world beautiful. I thought my dream of a classic wedding was impossible in FL, and then I found this place! Communication was unreal. Within an hour or two I could get all of my many questions answered. They were great at making changes where needed, and were a dream to work with. They have their own catering company, so there is one less vendor to find- Dubsdread Catering. When you book the venue, you are assigned a day of coordinator, which is built into the price. David was very knowledgable, and very easy going. He was fun to work with. Day of he knew exactly what I wanted, and didn’t bother me at all. He stayed on time day of, despite my family trying to make us late, and adapted the time-lime on the fly when we wanted to spend a few more minutes chatting with everyone. The venue and staff are friendly, hard working, and professional. They truly made our day beautiful! I will gladly use them for my celebration needs in the future.
We booked this venue for our wedding and everything came out beautiful. Kristen our provided wedding coordinator was great and took care of everything. The venue is BEAUTIFUL! If you’re getting married and are looking for a spot, this is it!
My wedding went really well. We had some technical issues (our fault not the venue. They tried to help fix the issue.) Everything went off without a hitch the day of.

There was plenty of space to get ready if we were to have gotten ready at the venue. Plenty of space for our guests to hang out before the wedding.

They have options to get married outside or inside. We chose outside. The outside spot has a big tree the couple can get married under. Inside is a big ball room. We were able to sneak inside and see the reception hall before the guest got to see it. This made for such a magical moment.
Listen… if you don’t get married here, you’re doing yourself a disservice. The Highland Manor staff was AMAZING to work with! My fiancée and I had THE PERFECT wedding. Kristen and Jose were the most phenomenal human beings to ever exist - they did a beautiful job at coordinating and making sure my husband and I were provided for. We didn’t lift a finger or worry about a single thing! I CANNOT recommend this venue enough. The Hilton being built directly onsite is perfect for family that is commuting. The food is amazing! The photos are gorgeous! I wish I could live this day over and over again. PLEASE book here you won’t regret it!
I am so glad I had my wedding here. The venue is gorgeous and spacious and has such a wonderful historic vibe. The food was amazing, my guests had so many good things to say. The hotel sharing a parking lot could not be more convenient. The best part, however, is the Dubsdread catering staff. Our coordinator Michelle was incredible and did not miss a single detail, she is a rockstar. My husband and I had our own butler for the day, Juan, and he was just wonderful. He took such good care of us, even making sure we actually ate our dinner without interruptions!! I could not recommend this venue highly enough.
I cannot say enough great things about The Highland Manor. The venue itself is absolutely stunning from the large oak tree for the ceremony, to the porch for beautiful pictures, to the entryway for a bubble filled send off, to the beautiful cocktail hour area and bar, to the stunning and large bridal suite, and the spacious reception area with a neat bar. But the beauty of the venue is only a small part of why we were so thrilled with The Highland Manor. From the beginning we were assigned a coordinator, David, who was organized, friendly, responsive, and made our day completely stress free and easy. The day of, we had a wonderful butler, Juan, who made sure we had food, drinks, and anything else we needed. Their food is also absolutely delicious. Many of our guests said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. We are so pleased with our decision to have our wedding at the Highland Manor.
We absolutely loved this venue! Michelle, our day of coordinator, ensured everything flowed seamlessly, both in the preparation stages, and on the day of our wedding. Our ceremony under the giant tree was beautiful, and the space inside for the cocktail hour and reception were gorgeous. We really appreciated that the venue/Michelle worked with us on each step of the way to ensure that the final touches matched our vision entirely. Michelle ensured that everything went smoothly with our vendors -- I felt like I didn't need to check on anything at all the day of! -- and was present during the reception ensuring that all of our guests with dietary restrictions were getting their correct meals, directing the flow of everything in a discreet manner. We had the best day!!
Highland Manor on and leading up to our wedding day was extremely professional, over the top, friendly and accommodating.We had around 120 people attend our wedding. From the day we first toured this venue to the day of our wedding everything we hoped for was executed in a way that shows the level of talent and experience that Bonny and Juan have. Bonny made it her mission to give us a wedding we would never forgot. The attention to detail and her overall leadership made us know we were in great hands. Juan was there for us every step of the way and we can't thank him enough for making sure we had everything we needed throughout the day/night. They are truly an incredible crew. Of course we can't forget to mention the culinary team! They knocked it out of the park with the food cooked that night. Our friends still talk about how great their meal was and how it was "the best steak dinner they have ever experienced." The venue was stunning. The staff was family for the night. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
I highly recommend this venue! We got married in November and had the greatest experience with the venue and coordinator, Michelle. The venue has really great and affordable packages for food and alcohol and the food was AMAZING! From start to finish our coordinator was helpful, responsive and constantly provided support for any questions or concerns I had. The day of the wedding everything was so well organized. The venue provides you with a butler, ours was Juan, and he was the most attentive, kind and helpful person. He made sure the whole wedding party was always taken care of and I have to say their attention to detail and support was beyond impressive. If I could do it all over again I would book this venue/Dubsdread every time. They made every part of the process easy and we had an amazing time because of their staff.
The Highland Manor was an absolute dream as far as wedding venues go. The staff was amazing!! The food was amazing! Most of all our coordinator Bonny was the best. She was organized and had everything planned out to a tee. Which is the way I like it lol. I would definitely hold another event at this location.
This venue is so beautiful that we knew almost as soon as we got there it was the one. We had both our ceremony and reception at Highland Manor and everything went so smoothly. We liked that they handled the catering because it was one less vendor to find and the food was amazing. Any time we had a question we'd always get a quick reply from someone on the staff and Ari our coordinator did a great job. We had such an amazing wedding day and are so happy we chose this venue.
If I could give 6 Stars I would! The Highland Manor was an excellent venue run by an extremely knowledgeable staff. Our day of coordinator, David, did a fantastic job keeping everything organized and running smoothly especially when one of our younger more excitable guests decided to pull the fire alarm. We ended up getting a great photo with the firetruck. Regardless I could not speak more highly of him. Our butler, Juan, was very attentive and kept the bridal party cups full and food plentiful. Many of our friends we spoke too always told us they were not able to fully enjoy the food at their wedding, but that was not the case for us. Both David and Juan kept guard to allow us time to eat and enjoy a little down time before the reception really kicked off. David and Juan did a fantastic job, but the food! The food was incredible. Dubsdread really has a great cooking and waiting staff. Deciding the menu was easy with the tasting offered prior to our wedding day. The Chef was very accommodating when we asked for them to prepare a special cultural dish. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend The Highland Manor for anyone to celebrate their special day. We hope in the future we can come back as guest to enjoy this place again.
I cannot recommend using one of their facilities enough. We had Bonnie as our coordinator and she can walk the walk and talk the talk. She helped make sure my celiac issue was a priority along with the other diet restrictions we had. It was such a smooth process picking them. They are the caterers as well as the facility so everything including alcohol and drinks is in your package. No searching and taste testing a dozen different food vendors! Also, the facility was A+++ beautiful.
This venue was amazing! From the food to the service everything was amazing! My wedding day was perfect because we chose this as the venue. David was so great to work with as a day of coordinator and Bob was our butler for the day and made sure our drinks never ran dry! Truly a great team and great location!
We had a wonderful experience with our wedding at Highland Manor! The venue is very beautiful and full of vintage, antique details perfect for someone who wants something unique but won't break the bank. The bridal suite rooms are a huge plus - we had to do a lot of our photos indoors due to rain, and they turned out beautiful with the various rooms throughout the venue. Our coordinator David was a super hero, ensuring everything went off without a hitch, including switching over our florals from the ceremony to reception. It was terrible weather all afternoon, but David found the one 20-minute window where the skies cleared so we could have our ceremony outdoors as planned and we will forever be grateful to the whole team's commitment to making our ceremony happen under the oak tree as we had envisioned. The service is excellent, and whatever you do...get the spinach and artichoke mushrooms!
BOOK THIS VENUE! It is so much more gorgeous in person than in the photos. This was the first venue we saw and we compared all others to this one and could not get it off our minds. We are so glad we did because everything was amazing. We decided to do the ceremony and reception indoors (it was July so that was a no-brainer) and everyone did an amazing job transforming the ballroom. Shanna was our DOC and she did such an amazing job! She is very knowledgeable and listened to everything we wanted. Bob was the best ever!! He made sure we were taken care of and had enough to eat and drink. Highly recommend this venue!
We had an amazing wedding at the Highland Manor! The Highland Manor is located in Apopka and features a beautiful Oak Tree for the ceremony and a beautiful building & ballroom for the reception. Highland Manor has a brand new Hilton Garden Inn next door which makes it easy for guests to stay in one location for the weekend. David did a great job as our coordinator and made sure we were happy every step of the way. David took the time to sit down with us, answering questions, and making sure our day was special. Highland Manor also provides a butler for the couple and they did a fantastic job of making sure we were fed and had a drink in our hands at all times. The staff at Dubsdread Catering were very responsive and helpful when we had questions.
Overall we would recommend Highland Manor but will warn that prices may change without notice (even after you sign paperwork). Additionally they changed their policy last minute and started charging a credit card fee which was not part of the original contract.

They are in contact with you with any questions you may have, all the time. The service was immaculate. My guests kept telling us that our venue was so so beautiful and got many compliments on our wedding Our coordinator Bonny was the real MVP. She was there from start to finish the entire wedding day. Highland Manor was such a good choice for our wedding for many reasons. The ceremony oak was undeniably breath-taking. The service from both the staff and day-of-coordinator was quick, efficient, and helpful. David, our coordinator, was quick to respond to the many email questions I sent before the big day. You can trust them because they know how to plan a wedding! The only inconvenience was that since they do have multiple events the same day, we were only allowed on site 2 hours before the ceremony started. So as a bride, this was not nearly enough time to get ready in or even enjoy the bridal suite before having to take pictures. I ended up having to pay for a couple nights for the hotel suite next door so I and my bridal party could have a place for hair and makeup to set up the morning of the wedding. Having the hotel next door, however, was a huge perk for us and our guests loved it. The bridal butler (also named David) was very attentive (we were told it never happens, but we actually got to eat at our wedding!!!). The food was fantastic! Several of our guests are in the culinary world and they were a bit annoyed that the venue's food was better than their own cooking, which is a HUGE compliment coming from them.
This was my dream wedding venue. It was gorgeous and the staff was 100% on point. I had nothing to worry about day-of because everything was already completed and if I needed anything at all it was brought to me immediately. The food was also fantastic. If I had to do it all over again I would choose this venue in an instant.
What an unbelievably stunning venue for a wedding. The Manor was everything we dreamed of and more. From getting ready and spending time in the bridal suite (also a super fun groom’s room for the guys), to saying vows under the oak, to dancing the night away in the ballroom, complete with breathtaking crystal chandeliers…it was just a dream come true. The catering team did a wonderful job with our food, and everything just went very smoothly. Minor hiccups were handled promptly and overall our day was just perfect. Thanks to Michelle, Juan, and the entire team.
Highland Manor was such a dream wedding venue!! From the moment we left our venue tour here, my husband and I knew that this was the one and the perfect place for us to get married. The newly built Hilton hotel right next to the venue really sealed the deal too! The whole venue is gorgeous inside and out, I especially loved the bridal suite room and the pool table for the groomsmen. And that ceremony oak tree is so pretty!! My guests were raving about how much they loved the venue and how unique it was, which made me so happy. They also raved about the quality of the food, it was soo good! I loved that the catering was built in to the venue cost, so that we didn't have to hire an outside food vendor. Our personal server on the wedding day, Juan, was incredible- always right there for anything we needed and ready to offer food and drinks, which was great because it's so easy to forget to eat on your wedding! Bonny and her whole team really did such an incredible job helping our wedding vision come to life. Can't reccomend Highland Manor enough! :)

I worked with Bonny and she kept everything running smoothly. I was out of state while planning and they worked with me to show me the property, plan the details of my wedding, and schedule the tasting to when I was in town. 100% would recommend this venue!
I knew a few people that worked with Dubdread - my now husband, saw Highland Manor and immediately knew that was where we were getting married. I had been a bridesmaid in a wedding there so I knew it was beautiful. After meeting with the venue and talking with Michelle - we already knew this was a fit for us. The venue has a lot included and is very professional. We were lucky to get Bonny as our coordinator for the event - and she took all my words and ideas coupled with the different boxes of decorations/pictures and it was all perfect and breathtaking. She had my vision down to a T. As our tasting we met Juan, he and my now husband hit it off as if old friends, he was with us on our day and he made us feel well taken care of. The whole staff there are knowledgeable about the planning so you feel everyone is ready to help. This is a definite win. We had nothing to worry about and enjoyed our day.

Beautiful location, delicious food, and perfect execution. A bride couldn't ask for more on her wedding day! My now husband is from Apopka and always wanted to get married at this venue. They made the entire process seemless. The in-house catering and coordination is perfect, and their list of preferred vendors is spot on. We were able to find the best cake baker, DJ, and beauty in the area through them. If I were to do it all over again, I would happily still choose Highland Manor and Dubsdread Catering!
Where can I start? The venue may not look like much on photos, but let me tell you once you walk in and see that amazing tree by the lake and the ballroom, you just fall in love. In all honesty I had looked at this place a while before I actually scheduled a tour, and to be honest it was not on my top 5, but when we got there and saw it with our own eyes, we both knew this was the place. The venue is spectacular, the staff is amazing! Please please ask for JUAN, he will make your night an even better one, He was there for us at every second, he helped with my dress, veil and we never had an empty glass. Brian is an amazing and fun bartender too, and I am sure your guest will love him just as much as you will. David was our coordinator, he was the perfect wedding planner. He was knowledgeable, responsive, organized and he just knew how to make our vision come to life. Go by the venue, trust me you will not regret it.

Highland Manor was the perfect wedding location. Bonny and the Highland Manor team gave us our dream wedding. The location was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the staff was amazing. The only thing I would suggest is more "crowd control". When we did our first look guests were wondering around the house and instead of it being a private moment we had an audience. Other than that things were perfect. We would recommend Highland Manor without doubt.
We had such a beautiful wedding and reception. As soon as we saw the Highland Manor venue, we knew it was the one! My dream was always to get married a large oak tree. Although it began raining right when our ceremony was to begin and we had to do our ceremony inside, it was still perfect. The vintage look was awesome!

This venue is AMAZING. We knew from the moment we toured here that it was the venue for us. Everything throughout the entire planning process was a breeze. Wedding planning can be so challenging but the team at Highland Manor make it easy. They communicate with you every step of the way, taking care of everything. We trusted them 100% the day of and they didn't disappoint. They took SUCH amazing care of us that our wedding day went smooth without a single road block. (and even if there was...we didn't know and it was handled!) Cannot recommend a better venue! Plus, if you have guests from out of town, the hotel being steps away is IDEAL!

Let me share a bit about my wedding coordinator, they provided us. On May 17, 2021, Bonny made every detail of the wedding at Highland Manor in Apopka perfect, for my daughter! Since I was putting together a surprise wedding of sorts for my daughter who lives out of state, Bonny was there each step of the way... I had so many questions, and emailed her day and night. Bonny was patient with me, answering and providing great advice. At the food tasting, we met Bonny in person. She was full of energy, and delightful! She made some great suggestions for the food. She helped with the contract a few times as I made changes, and she was happy to accommodate my requests. Bonny ensured all our needs were met, and every time we changed the menu she was patient and accommodating. Bonny helped us with all the vendors, and I chose the best DJ ever at her recommendation. The wedding day was absolutely perfect. Bonny made the wedding party, and guests, feel so special! If we needed anything at all, Bonny was there making it all come together! She helped me with every detail down to the seating, number of tables for the reception room, colors to choose for the table cloths, and she took down the names of the wedding party and the order of entrance for the ceremony and how the bride & groom would make the grand ballroom entrance, and made certain it all went exactly as planned! I brought many decorative items in for set-up, the day before the wedding. Bonny took the items, and placed them absolutely perfectly in the venue, just as we wanted. What an amazing decorator she is too! When it came time to see the reception room prior to guests going in, it was the most amazing WOW moment ever! Bonny ensured the lighting, cake set-up, tables, flowers, and linens were placed absolutely perfectly! She even insisted the DJ up light with pin lights, so the cake was glowing, when I had not asked for that. But Bonny knew this was needed. This made all the difference in the world. The cake table looked magical! Bonny ensured the timing of the ceremony, to the guests making their way to the ballroom for dinner, to the grand finale of sparklers was timed exactly as needed, to ensure the DJ, and photographers were at the right spot at the right time. At the end of the night, all the items we brought and flowers from the wedding were sent up to my hotel room. Bonny and crew from Highland Manor helped us to pack up all the hair, make-up and clothing from the area the bride and girls were dressing, so this was just fantastic! Bonny made the entire day so wonderfully easy, that I am still talking about it, a month later! I highly recommend Highland Manor as your venue. No matter how small or large your wedding is, Highland Manor is the place to have your special event. I promise it will be magical! On a last note, I want to thank Michelle, another coordinator at Highland Manor who helped out too, and all those folks behind the scenes whose names I do not know, that handle the cooking, cleaning, and making this venue just beautiful for each event.
AMAZING VENUE!! You do not realize how much you deserve to be pampered as the couple but they definitely take care of that. Juan followed us everywhere we went with snacks and beverages and we never went thirsty. Bonny was amazing at making our decor look amazing and bringing it all to life. She was great had handling all the stress I had and how nit picky I was. She handled my family and bridal party well and was always there when we needed her. Also the food that Dubsdread Catering provided was better than most restaurants I’ve been to. The portions were amazing and they were able to add on amazing options for my bridal party at the last minute. I have no regrets choosing this venue for my special day!
Don't look any further, this is the venue for you! We reviewed many other venues before choosing The Highland Manor. I loved the house, the wooden stairs, old school home feel and its beautiful bar structure. The story behind the house was very interesting being it was so old . The history was all there and we loved it all! The Oak Tree outside took our breath away. I knew we had to get married here! Michelle was so kind in allowing us to visit several times to show it off to our wedding party. We loved the building, location and the hotel next door made it a plus! Simply beautiful dream wedding we had! We are in love with our wedding day, and lets talk about the food. My wedding was a hit with the food. There caterer was amazing. They catered to us and our spanish style needs. There food was delicious and our guest still talk about it!
Bonny was simply an amazing person to have as a coordinator, she really knows her stuff! Having our wedding postponed due to Covid-19, she didn't make us feel bad but rather understood and had us rebook our wedding with no issues. We have been working with her for 3 years, if you count how long we been planning this wedding. Bonny is very personable , caring and patient. She responses fairly quickly and is very reasonable. She was amazing with our large wedding party, getting everyone where they needed to be on time. She had things lined out , prepared and held us accountable for items that I wanted displayed. She was a blessing to have as a coordinator! If your looking for skilled and patient, don't look any further. I highly recommend Highland Manor and its entire staff for your future dream wedding.
Once we saw The Highland Manor there was no need to look anywhere else. It’s embodied the rustic and elegant feel we both wanted to an unparalleled compromise for the both of us. It is such a beautiful venue. From the beginning of planning, the entire staff was extremely helpful and patient with me and some of my last minute additions and changes, thank you all for that. Bonny and her crew did a phenomenal job. I didn’t have to worry about any little thing, she had it handled. From the rehearsal to the morning after breakfast, it was all perfect. On our wedding day we had a butler who they said would take care of us. That was the biggest understatement I have ever heard. Jose, you are absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! Not only did Jose make sure we ate, drank and had fun, he was two steps ahead of us and one step behind the entire night. He knew what we needed before we even knew we did. He truly made our wedding magical. The entire team did, thank you all. If I could do it all over, I would not change a thing.

The Highland Manor was the perfect venue for us! The house is so beautiful on its own that you don’t need to over-do decorations & the tree was the ideal backdrop for our ceremony. Our coordinator, David, made it so easy to navigate this experience. And our guests raved about how good the food was!

Between the beautiful historic home, the fairytale worthy tree and the absolute professional and and always on top of it staff, highland manor made our wedding perfect. Our day of coordinator, Bonny, was incredible. Our day of butler, G, was on stand by for anything we needed. And we got soooo many compliments on how good our food was from Dubsdread catering! Honestly, 15/10 could not have picked a more perfect place to get married!
We had our one year anniversary here (was suppose to get married the first weekend of covid) they let us postpone for the year and they made it so special for us! Emma is so amazing at coordinating and Bob is the best butter! The whole bartending team did a phenomenal job as well!

From our first tour, throughout difficult postponement decisions, to our big day, the Highland Manor staff was compassionate, professional, and so easy to work with. They respond to emails incredibly quickly and have a knack for making couples feel at ease. Our wedding day was so fluid and smooth. Their years of experience in events and weddings was absolutely evident.
With Dubsdread Catering being part of the same company, it not only made planning so easy, but we were thrilled at the number of dinner and bar options. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their food, and because Highland Manor thinks of every little detail, including boxing up a meal for the bride and groom, we got to enjoy our wedding dinner two nights in a row! The property itself is gorgeous, and the layout of the ceremony space, cocktail hour, and reception room adds a family feel to the whole day.
Our day of coordinator, Bonny, made all of our wedding visions come to life. Our butler Gion worked so hard for us the night of-keeping me calm as we chatted minutes before my walk down the aisle, fixing a wardrobe malfunction, and keeping us fed and hydrated! Another highlight was the “room reveal”-getting to see our reception space before any of the guests, and having a moment to ourselves before the party. All of the team members who handled our contract and payments leading up to our day were also incredibly compassionate and helpful. We appreciate everyone on the Highland Manor team so much!

Highland Manor was the perfect place to host our special day! The venue itself is gorgeous, the staff is very friendly/helpful and we couldn’t beat the convenience of a nice hotel across the street with half of our guests coming in from out of town. The food was outstanding, so many guests said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had! They also commented on the waiters and how great they were. Our coordinator Bonny made all our visions come to life and made sure everything ran smoothly! I could go on and on about how great she was in the whole process leading up to the wedding. Our personal waiter Jose was the MVP of the day from making sure my husband and I had food & drinks at all times to bringing me my sneakers when my feet hurt from dancing. Getting married during COVID was stressful, to say the least. After a date change, countless emails, and what felt like an event that was never going to safely happen, it happened, and it was SPECTACULAR. Bonnie & her team were incredible to work with. I can't say enough about Bonnie as she's just a Wedding treasure. Highland isn't just a gorgeous venue, it's super affordable. Being from NY and Italian, Food was super important to us, and the food was amazing. Seriously amazing. They were so accomodating and flexible in how we wanted to handle the Cocktail Hour and Dinner. Get a crab cake station, I'm still hearing from my Guests how much they loved it. Bob our butler was always right in my shadow, champage in hand. Always something to eat. He even held my cathedral train as I walked down the aisle. The highest compliment I can give is that I can't wait to plan another event with Dubsdread.
Cannot give the team at Highland Manor enough praise. Michelle and her team were wonderful to work with from start to finish. This venue is absolutely beautiful and more than what we wanted in a wedding venue. The price point is affordable for what's included. Also, they served the best wedding food our families ever had.

The Highland Manor was absolutely perfect for our wedding especially in the midst of a global pandemic. Bonny and the rest of the staff were amazing and worked with us to meet all of our requests and were available constantly to talk through any concerns that came up and were quickly addressed. Having the new Hilton next door was great for all of our out of town guests and ensured all of those who needed a room from the festivities also had one. It also saved a lot of time day of with getting ready at the hotel and walking right over to the venue when it was time. The Highland manor is a gorgeous venue that would be an ideal choice for anyone looking to get married in central Florida with a Victorian home vibe and the staff is a delight to work with.
The Highland Manor was absolutely the dream wedding venue! The stunning nature and history of the building makes this venue so unique! But what made the wedding so much better was the team of dedicated people who are so passionate about weddings. I cannot express into words how extremely happy I am that my husband and I chose to get married at The Highland Manor. We were looking for and “old southern charm” venue without having to travel too far from where we live, and we found it all with this venue and more! The staff were so awesome to work with and were so nice and professional from start to finish. Bonny was assigned to us for our day of coordinator and she did an amazing job bringing our wedding day vision come to life and when we did our “room reveal” before the reception started it was absolutely perfect! We were also assigned a butler for our wedding day as well and he did not disappoint. He could tell I was extremely nervous before the ceremony started and he talked to me to take my mind off of it and did his best to help calm me down. I wish I could get married there all over again just to experience this amazing venue one more time!

The Highland Manor was the perfect location for our micro-ceremony and will be for our postponed wedding reception next year as well. Bonny and the Dubsdread team were truly amazing and provided us with delicious food! Our wedding ceremony guest-list went from 120 to 8 guests but Bonny and her team made sure that the day still felt special and important. Every detail for the ceremony that we discussed, Bonny enhanced in execution on the day of the wedding. Anything and everything that I needed and/or forgot I needed, she was there to take care of and had already planned for. Bonny and her team truly know how to make a bride stress free on her wedding day and I can’t wait to work with her again for the rescheduled bigger wedding in 2021!
We recently had our wedding at The Highland Manor and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff, the food, the location, everything was what we wanted for our wedding. Our wedding coordinator Bonny made sure any question or issue we had was resolved in a timely manner. We were given a personal butler on the day of our wedding that made sure we always had food or drinks available so we never went hungry or thirsty – including drinks and snacks for our wedding party and parents, as well as cocktail hour food for us. The staff was extremely Covid compliant and provided us their cleaning procedures, so this made us and our guests feel a lot more comfortable. The staff also coordinated our dinner buffet so smoothly, we never saw them escort our guests to the exterior buffet area. Regarding food, we’ve lost count of how many guests have complimented the food at our dinner buffet. It was SO GOOD. The Highland Manor was also extremely flexible when it came to weather. The plan due to expected heavy rain was to have the ceremony indoors despite the originally planned outdoor tree ceremony. When the weather cleared the morning of our wedding, The Highland Manor made sure to set up the outdoor ceremony along with all of our decorations. The professionalism of all the staff at The Highland Manor is top notch and we wish we could do it all over again because it was such a perfect day.
Highland manor is so incredibly beautiful, and it was made even better because of Bonny and team. There wasn’t a single issue on the day of and everything flowed exceptionally well. Bob was our day of butler and he was never to far away - always making sure we were taken care of. We are also still getting raving reviews on the food!!

Bonny was amazing! Everything was set up exactly how I wanted and more. I loved hearing positive feedback from my family. They all loved how everything came out and even said it was the most organized and easy coordinated wedding they have ever been to. Everything was magical. We had an outdoor ceremony and the day was cloudy and rainy the whole day. One of the things that sold us on the venue was the big oak tree that we would be able to get married under. I was a little bummed that that might not happen. I arrived to the venue and asked Bonny if it would still happen and she said she had been closely monitoring the weather and it was going to stop raining. I even explained my concerns about the tree dripping water from the rain and the humidity (I have naturally curly hair). Bonny told me they would take care of everything. Seriously it was perfect outside. It was not humid, it stopped raining and we had the most perfect breeze throughout the whole ceremony. Anytime I needed something or forgot something Bonny would disappear and reappear with it in her hands. Me and my husband even joked about how we thought Bonny had a side job as a magician lol. Seriously Bonny thank you soooo much for making our day so perfect.

From the very start of our journey to find our perfect wedding location, we were welcomed to Highland and given the grand tour, detailing how the day might be organized, and the numerous options to customize exactly what we wanted, including the Dubsdread catering menu, and a personal butler on the day of our wedding. After the initial consultation, we were contacted by the person who would become our wedding coordinator and Jane-of-all-trades, Bonny Bailey. This is where the real magic began. Each step of the way, Bonny made sure that we felt comfortable, answered our questions in a timely and positive way, and even gave us suggestions to how to shift several ideas to make them even better. Not to mention, she did this with a smile, a joke, and a delightful positivity that was a breath of fresh air each time my fiancée and I connected with her.
One of the best parts of this experience was choosing our menu, which was an absolute delight! Several months before the wedding, we were invited to take part in a group tasting, that would provide all the guests with several choices from the appetizer, mains, sides, and late-night choices so that guests could narrow down their top picks. Bonny even prepared a special vegetarian dish specifically for us so that we had a wider range to choose from and not feel left out during the tasting. These are the details that make Bonny and her team so incredible at what they do.
On the day of our wedding, it was a dream come true, and in true Highland fashion, each detail was exquisitely attended to, especially with the help of our personal butler, who knew right when we needed a glass of champagne to ease our nerves. Bonny was there with an efficiency that could only be attributed to being in 20 places at the same time. She was connecting with us during each moment of the evening, making sure the only thing we required of us was to focus on how beautiful our day was, how much we loved each other, and the amazing guests who shared our day. Oh, and did I mention Bonny also made sure that we were each handed our favorite cocktails after and during the ceremony, right down to hand stuffed, blue cheese olives?
When the night was over, she made sure all our things were safely packed, our cake was distributed, and sent us off with a smile and some champagne to toast to our perfect night. I sincerely hope that anyone who is looking for the perfect venue, with the most incredibly talented, professional, and positively driven individuals chooses The Highland Manor. You will have memories that will last a lifetime.

I was blown away with how wonderful this experience was. I knew the Dubsdread event staff was top notch (with friends having used them for their weddings), but wow! From the beginning, one of our reasons for choosing this venue was obviously how beautiful the property is, but also how much is included. I felt like it took SO much of the extra planning I would have had to do otherwise out of the process. It helped to streamline so much, however, I still felt like I was able to choose from so many options of menu, linens, etc. Every time I emailed with a question, someone answered me promptly and efficiently. They also had ideas that I would not have even thought of. The day of the wedding, the entire staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The butler and our coordinator treated us like old friends and on such an important day filled with nerves, this was so appreciated. The setup was beyond my expectations, and the cleanup was fantastic and organized. Thank you, thank you, thank you to this team! Highly recommend!!
From the moment we arrived at Highland Manor, the staff was welcoming and ready to assist us in any way we needed. We met with Michelle in May of 2019 and was given a tour of the estate. She greeted us with a big smile and a hug and we were on our way. Michelle was ready to answer all of our questions without hesitation and we could tell that Highland Manor was going to be the right venue for our wedding. After locking in the date, we later received our email invitation to the food tasting night. While dining, Bonny, one of the coordinators with Highland Manor and Dubsdread, who owns her own company, P.S. I Love You Productions, came up to our table and greeted us. She informed us that she will be our wedding coordinator, which is part of the package with Highland Manor. No matter the time of day, Bonny was quick to respond. One of the great things about Highland Manor and the wedding coordinator, is that once you have found all of your vendors and hired them for the day of, the coordinator will take over from there to coordinate their arrivals and set up times. Bonny was amazing to work with through the entire process. She would check up on us to see if we had any questions or any new information. By the day of the wedding, Bonny was like family to us and wanted our day to be perfect. While we kept the decor for the ceremony simple, the reception had many detailed pieces. During the ceremony, Bonny was at work inside the reception area setting the tables. When we walked into the reception area to see what she had done, our breath was taken away. She captured our vision perfectly and it was everything we ever wanted. The food was immaculate and we could eat the food everyday. Dubsdread Catering was able to cater to the special requests we had for gluten intolerant guests and any other special needs we had. The entire day was truly perfect and we are forever grateful for Bonny, Michelle and the rest of the Highland Manor/Dubsdread Catering team.

The staff are incredible. You are provided with a day of coordinator and a butler who will make sure that you stay hydrated and fed throughout your big day.
