venue is beautiful , the true beauty lies in the coordinator !! We picked Southshore because of Michelle . We knew from the moment we met her that she was their biggest asset !! My sister had a luncheon planned at a place in the village -they called with less than a weeks notice to cancel. I told Michelle and she had arranged the meal and decor in less than 24 hours . I just can’t say enough about how meeting her at that first visit put us on our path for a wonderful wedding experience . Thank you -Thank you Michelle .

Michelle works with many vendors and gives you a list of recommendations and suggestions, you can also find your own vendors. The food was incredible. So many guests reached out after the wedding gushing about how that was probably the best meal they ever had at a wedding. Th Michelle was truly everything we could have hoped for a coordinator. She got to know us and understand our vision. They also host a vender show for anyone looking to get married there or if you are already scheduled. It gives you the opportunity to see the vendors they work with and also try the menu by buffet. ichelle Hare enough for everything she has done for us. The planning process was not only seamless but fun the entire time! Michelle was readily available to me at all times and answered all my questions and came up with solutions quickly when needed. Michelle made all our dreams come true with her attentiveness and kindness. As someone who is from Vegas, The Lake Club was the perfect venue that was far enough that made it seem like we were not in Vegas at all. From the ceremony to the cocktail hour to reception, there was not one moment of thing that was not perfectly executed. We had our ceremony on the beach, and it was the perfect water backdrop that we wanted. Cocktail hour was great with the best appetizers, everyone raved about them! The entire dinner was so so amazing and not one person had anything but good things to say about the dinner. My uncles are still talking about how good the salmon & eggplant parmesan was! The staff was great making sure everyone had what they needed in a timely manner. I can't recommend this venue enough for anyone's wedding. Everything was perfect and we could not be happier. Again, I have to thank and say that Michelle was the BEST throughout this whole process. She not only made sure that my husband and I was good but also made sure that my parents and bridal party was good throughout the whole day. We couldn't have had a more perfect day without her there. She truly made everything so easy and seamless. Thank you so so much to Michelle and the venue for the best day ever!!!

She was communicative and easy to reach any day and anytime. We had a couple meetings to ensure we were prepped and ready to go and on the day of it went so seamless there isn’t a thing I would’ve changed. I had absolutely no stress about how anything was going to turn out because she knows exactly what she’s doing and it turned out beyond incredible! She made sure to include the small touches of things we talked about which truly showed how much she listened and cared. 10/10 would recommended for the scenery and experience!!!

throughout and available. She was attentive to detail which allowed me to ENJOY the wedding! Many options to make it your own and she/the club was always willing to adjust. The food was outstanding (we decided to do the buffet and that was certainly the right decision). I upgraded the bar option and was able to taste wines ahead of time to make my decision. Plenty of indoor space for dancing, as well as outdoor space for conversations. The vendor choice (photographer, music, florist, etc) was mine. They all worked well at the venue.

The venue coordinator, Aleksandra, was truly a gem from start to finish. She helped us put together the most incredible, dreamy, magical day, and it would not have been the same without her. From the very start, she was filled with excitement for our wedding, which made us even more excited. She made sure every detail was executed to perfection, and kept the schedule of events flowing perfectly. The food was such a hit with our family and friends, they couldn’t stop talking about it. And we are so thankful for the Chef who was flexible and ensured that all of our requests were met. Everything was genuinely perfect, and we couldn’t have chosen a more incredible team and venue to work with. We can’t stop receiving compliments for how perfect and beautiful the entire day was. The Lake Club was an impeccable backdrop to the most magical day of our lives, and we would 100% recommend this venue and team.

My daughter and her now husband chose the Lake Club at Lake Las Vegas about one year prior to their wedding date. They had a budget of $25K. This venue advertised that it's a co...

mpletely inclusive package. Before they signed the contract I insisted on seeing a list of things NOT INCLUDED. Aleksandra, the venue director, wrote down several things like the DJ, Photographer, cake, etc. I should have been more careful but this was my first child getting married. Make sure you go over any contract with a fine tooth comb! I was indeed hesitant because the cost for the venue was around $24K so I knew these young people were already going over budget, but they fell in love with the venue. Fast forward to 6 weeks prior to the wedding & on a Friday: Aleksandra tells the young couple they need between $8-12K over the original contract amount and they discover that flowers are not included. They in fact, being naive, left that meeting thinking they still needed chairs and other basic things. In fact, Aleksandra was trying to upsell them fancier chairs, etc. They were frantically trying to find other options to rent chairs and figure out what was still needed. By Monday, after a very stressful weekend, Aleksandra explained that all the rentals were indeed included, but she didn't think they would want to go with the "basic" and outdated options. Ultimately, 4 weeks before the wedding they did have to pay about $6K over which was for gratuity (that was not disclosed prior). In addition, this predatory vendor did everything in her power to increase her commission and she was terrible as a wedding planner. She billed herself originally as the one who would do it all. But when asked for a wedding day timeline she offered a handwritten scribbled piece of paper with a general timeline. She never made note of the fact that they had their own vows written or that one table was to be designated for immediate family and so MANY other details. She did not reach out to the couple with reminders - like florals or shuttle arrangements or anything except payments. She never reached out to ask about outside vendors to make arrangements with them - we constantly had to reach out to her. Both myself and the mother of the groom were extremely frustrated and unhappy with our experience working with this vendor, however, we did end up with a beautiful wedding day for our children. I cannot recommend this venue due to the current director in charge.

e lack of communication was awful, the linen on the tables were extremely wrinkled, they did not have the tables set up when I requested. I can go on and on about the terrible experience. Kevin is the manager over at this venue and he is the most unprofessional and disrespectful person I have met. I got an open bar for my wedding and the next day I found out that the bartender told my guests they are not allowed to drink anymore long island ice teas because they "drank them to fast." (I have this on video) Not one of my guests were acting out of hand.. They are all lvmpd employees so I can assure them that they were fine. The fact that the bartender decided to make that decision as well as speak to my guests like that was disgusting. I paid full gratuity on this service for her to be rude like that to my guests.. She decided to tell the groom he can't have a long island ice tea as well.. Aside from that I made it clear we cannot run out of beer.. Sure enough we did. I paid for this service that I didn't get - complete waste of money. I reached out to Kevin after the wedding to discuss this and he was arguing with me via email saying he is the one that made that decision at the bar. He continued to disrespect me. Come to find out the bartender was his wife. That is very unprofessional. He continued to go back and forth with me. That is not the way you treat your customer. I then reached out to the GM Joseph who was completely useless and all he said was "I will talk to my staff." Being in the service industry myself I know how to treat my guests and the team here at Lake Club do not. It disgusted me the way they treated me. So don't waste your time. Find a different venue because Lake Las Vegas has a ton of beautiful ones and I am sure they have employees that actually respect there customers. They probably don't screw you out of money either. :)

Not to mention how beautiful the venue/location is, I absolutely loved how private everything was. the sunset... Our guests were in awe of how beautiful the area is! From the very beginning, the professional staff at The Lake Club made it their mission to answer any and all questions as well as provide guidance for us as we planned our special day. There was a switch over in staff after we signed our contract, but there was such a smooth transition and absolutely no concerns. Romie was our planner throughout the process, and she is absolutely phenomenal!! She helped us plan EVERYTHING from the food and beverage needs, table set up, decor, vendor needs, and even with stress management! She was there to answer any and all questions, and most of all was a great listener and offered her expertise to ensure we had the perfect wedding day! We cannot thank Romie and The Lake Club staff enough for everything they did to make our day amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! We cannot wait to get our pictures so we can cherish the memories for many years to come!

The food was delicious and the staff was on point. I did not have to worry about anything on my day. The staff was professional and definitely kept both me and my fiancé worry free. They became our coordinator, planner, security, and problem solvers when it came to it. I had nothing but great things not only from me but also from my guests. ur needs. Millie and Romie were great to work with, and always found a way to carry out what we envisioned for our big day. The food was fabulous; from the passed hors d'oeuvres and stationary displays to our delicious plated dinner and our late-night snacks of sliders & fries (definitely recommend!) The bar area was perfect for cocktail hour and our photo booth, and the dining room looked gorgeous; it really showcased our linens & centerpieces and was the perfect place to dance the night away. What I loved about the venue was that there was a lot of space, so if guests wanted to dance or stay chatting at their tables they could, or they could go back into the bar area to hang out or use the photo booth. Everywhere I turned, people were smiling and having fun! Oh and the VIEWS!! Our guests couldn't believe the beautiful views of the golf course and mountains. Simply amazing! My husband and I loved our wedding at South Shore Golf Club, and if we had to do it all again, would have it there in a heartbeat!
