Receptions can take place in the interior space, a 3,000 square-foot room brimming with minimalist charm. I recently had my 30-year high school reunion at The Lantern Room, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best venues in Cleveland! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The space is beautifully designed with a ton of natural light, blending modern elegance with a cozy charm.
The highlight, without a doubt, is the huge deck that overlooks the stunning Cleveland skyline. Watching the sunset while enjoying the festivities was simply breathtaking! It’s the perfect backdrop for photos and creates an unforgettable experience. So many classmates attending commented on what a cool space it was.
Penthouse Events Cle planned the entire night and they went above and beyond to make it special. Ursula, Julio and the rest of staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Whether you’re planning a wedding, reunion, or any special event, The Lantern Room is a fantastic choice. I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to plan something else.
The only thing you need to know is that no other venue or wedding coordinator will ever compare to Ursula and Julio. Do yourself the biggest favor and look no further than these two and any of their incredible venues. My husband and I got married at the lantern room and from the first time meeting them to the very last song of our wedding day, they were attentive and focused on making the process the easiest, most enjoyable, least stressful it could be. I kid you not, Ursula just asked us to send her some Pinterest pictures of our vision and she brought them to real life. I hardly did a thing!! How rare is that?!
Not only that but she was incredibly responsive the entire planning process to any email questions that came up. But it didn’t stop there, she put together all of our centerpieces, seating chart, and coordinated with all of our vendors to make sure everyone got where they were supposed to be. On the actual day of, if you didn’t know you would have thought Ursula and Julio were our aunt and uncle. From making sure we had the drinks we wanted in hand to snapping special dance floor moments and even personally scooping the ice cream for guests- they were everywhere, doing everything all with a smile. I couldn’t help but think, is it possible they are actually having as much fun as us?
They clearly love what they do and they set the bar exceptionally high. My friends were all shocked to hear that I didn’t have to do all of the minuscule work of wedding planning like tablecloth and napkin colors and that I had a point person who not only willingly did all of that but also blew it out of the water. I cannot reiterate enough that Julio and Ursula are the only people you need to consider for your special event. You can put all of your trust in them and just actually enjoy the unique process of planing your special day. I want to get married all over again just purely so I can work with them again. I’m not kidding.
Amazing!! Stunning!! Fabulous!! We worked with Ursula at Penthouse Events to plan a 40-person wedding at the Skylight Room. The venue was beautiful, thanks to Ursula’s artistic vision. We enjoyed our reception so much and Ursula made sure it went smoothly. Ursula was helpful and responsive throughout the process. We received so many compliments on the venue and the food. Can’t recommend enough. Ursula will make sure you have a wonderful event.

I had the great pleasure of hosting my retirement event at the Lantern Room. I selected this venue in part because it is absolutely stunning and the view of the city is spectacular. The other reason I selected this venue was based on the phenomenal customer service projected by Ursula and Julio. They planned my event as if it were their own. I am forever grateful to both of them for making my celebration very special and memorable. They kept me abreast of every step along the way!! Thank you Ursula and Julio you are two very special individuals!!!
Stop looking at other venues and call Ursula STAT!!! Ursula and Julio took such good care of our law firm when we booked our party with them. The space was gorgeous and they thought of everything!! Every time I spoke to Ursula throughout the planning stages, she couldn't have been more helpful or reassuring. The food was wonderful, and the view of the city was spectacular. Julio and Ursula treated us all like we were family and the servers and bartenders were very attentive. We're going to try to do a summer event this year. I can't wait to go back.

Ursula and Julio did a fantastic job for our New Year's Eve event! They arrived early to help set up everything and had a great staff that kept the event running smoothly and also made some delicious drinks at the bar. The venue has an amazing view of the city and plenty of space for dancing, food, a bar, and seating. The team was flexible to all of our plans and helped us craft the perfect event. I would highly recommend an event at the penthouse!
Everything for our cocktail reception was wonderful! Ursula and Julio were there throughout the entire event, working hard to make sure all the smallest details were looked after. Everyone had a terrific time! I can’t say enough good things about the hard working staff and beautiful venue.
Ursula and Julio are INCREDIBLE! Their entire team is outstanding! Our wedding day was beyond perfect. They took the worries out of the day by just making it all happen! Their work ethic and attention to detail (adding all the perfect touches), and their treatment of our guests made for a joyful, fun and relaxing night. The beautiful venue and gorgeous view is what initially drew us to the Skylight Penthouse, but Ursula and Julio were the professionals that made our experience exceptional. In a weekend of festivities, this was one event that we knew we didn't have to worry about a thing. In fact, they expertly handled all of the details for us and ensured our evening was amazing.

The event was run beautifully, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Penthouse Events CLE. Ursula was very fair, responsive and detail oriented, and worked with our daughter to create a custom event. Ursula, is a true visionary. Not only is she extremely talented, she is very organized and played an instrumental part in my wedding day. She made sure everything from the wedding ceremony to the reception was executed flawlessly. She made sure all the groomsmen and ushers were all in the correct place, and knew exactly what they needed to do. She helped execute a Pittsburgh style cookie table, and handled all last minute hiccups with grace and ease. If you are having a wedding, you want Ursula running it.
