Able to comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests for a sit down dinner or 250 for a cocktail style affair. The Lantern Room is ideal for large and intimate gatherings. It features an outdoor and indoor section, both of which can be used by you and your loved ones. Overlooking the city, the 6,500 square-foot deck can set the stage for your “I do” moment. You can exchange your vows as your guests marvel at the surrounding urban vista. The space can also be used for your after-party, featuring distinctive details such as a fire pit and soaking pool. Receptions can take place in the interior space, a 3,000 square-foot room brimming with minimalist charm. It is illuminated by trendy lighting fixtures, and its windows allow organic light to flow in. Here, there is ample space for dining and dancing.
The Lantern Room is available seven days a week, with rates depending on whether you choose to host your event on a weekday or weekend. The space is equipped with a range of high-tech enhancements, such as a flat-screen television and a top-quality sound system. Dynamic and adaptable, the venue can be transformed to suit your stylistic and layout needs. As an added touch, you and your significant other can make use of the get-ready room located on the floor below. Your reception dinner can be prepared by Spice Catering Co., an accomplished culinary service renowned for their mouth-watering, farm-to-table cuisine.

our big day to life. They have a fabulous caterer (his Mac and cheese and short rib were delicious!), the bar staff was friendly and fast, they have a valet service included, there is a beautiful getting ready suite that is a full apartment, and the team does full set-up and tear-down of your space making it all incredibly easy on the couple. All linens and most decor can be included to seamlessly bring your vision to life. The skyline view and outdoor space is great for the ceremony and dance floor, and dining indoors was perfect for us.
The real magic of The Lantern Room is Ursula, the owner of Penthouse Events CLE. She embodies the term “above and beyond.” From initial email correspondence, to touring the venue, to the full planning process and day of, Ursula was there every step of the way and made sure our wedding day was perfect. She is so kind, responsive, organized and adds so many personal touches. Ursula printed all of our signage herself, and she home made the strawberry syrup and grew the mint in her own garden for our signature cocktails. She was super hands on and I couldn’t have asked for a nicer and easier coordinator to work with.

nd stress free (which is critical when you’re planning a wedding!) She took our (very minimal) ideas and ran with them, picking decor, color schemes, and signage our friends and family loved. From Penthouse CLE providing an awesome DJ to a fantastic caterer, all we needed to focus on leading up to the wedding and the night of was having fun. Ursula was also extremely responsive throughout the planning process and coordinated with our vendors to truly create a stress free, beautiful evening - we can’t recommend Penthouse Events CLE enough!

I grew up in Cleveland and wanted a venue with views of the city and/or lake, character but that could transform to fit my aesthetic, and a space that would allow people to relax and chat OR party and dance. The Lantern Room checked all the boxes.
Ursula is next level - creative, organized, and passionate. As soon as we met I knew working with her to plan my hometown wedding from 2,000 miles away was the only way to do it. Leading up to the big day my mantra was "In Ursula we trust" - and she still exceeded my expectations! Julio is an absolute pro who is always beaming with pride over their team and events, it's easy to see why! Chef David is incredible - he will have your guests talking about the food at your wedding for years to come. EVERY team member was professional, friendly, and efficient.

Not only was their food menu options incredibly tasty (crab cake, mushroom crostini, arancini, and pork belly bites), they gave us the ability to personalize our Bride and Groom menu to what was so important for us to have. Our guests raved about the dinner entree (beef short ribs, airline chicken, and vegetarian curry pot pie) and we got so many compliments of the food plated service and decore all of which was provided directly and a part of their package that PENTHOUSE CLE offers.
Our tables setting colors, along with all the venue decorations came out fantastic, letting Ursula and Julio make the decisions on how to place and decorate yielded the most beautiful results that we could never have imagined we would have been able to come up with by ourselves. Having Ursula and Julio there to guide and manage not only our table setting, decoration, menu service, but also be our own personal wedding coordinator to come up with the timelines, print all stationary and signage, manage all of our vendors, and keep track of everything throughout the day until we were done saved us so much, and allowed us to enjoy our day without any worries.
The included bridal suite that came with the venue allowed us the personal moments together away from our family and friends to make the wedding so memorable to us. The suite was beautiful and amazing to have for us to use for the day.

My husband and I got married at the lantern room and from the first time meeting them to the very last song of our wedding day, they were attentive and focused on making the process the easiest, most enjoyable, least stressful it could be. I kid you not, Ursula just asked us to send her some Pinterest pictures of our vision and she brought them to real life. I hardly did a thing!! How rare is that?!
Not only that but she was incredibly responsive the entire planning process to any email questions that came up. But it didn’t stop there, she put together all of our centerpieces, seating chart, and coordinated with all of our vendors to make sure everyone got where they were supposed to be. On the actual day of, if you didn’t know you would have thought Ursula and Julio were our aunt and uncle. From making sure we had the drinks we wanted in hand to snapping special dance floor moments and even personally scooping the ice cream for guests- they were everywhere, doing everything all with a smile. I couldn’t help but think, is it possible they are actually having as much fun as us?
They clearly love what they do and they set the bar exceptionally high. My friends were all shocked to hear that I didn’t have to do all of the minuscule work of wedding planning like tablecloth and napkin colors and that I had a point person who not only willingly did all of that but also blew it out of the water. I cannot reiterate enough that Julio and Ursula are the only people you need to consider for your special event. You can put all of your trust in them and just actually enjoy the unique process of planing your special day. I want to get married all over again just purely so I can work with them again. I’m not kidding.
