The Outpost Catering

ffet service during covid assuming that there would be people serving at the buffet ( Isn't that a no brainer?). This did not happen, and all of my guests had to serve themselves with the same utensils. To top it off, the food was mediocre at best. Don't use Outpost. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

an guests. The chicken teriyaki was gluten free so was perfect for those guests. Because we were at an outside venue, they let us bring some family favorite salads as well to serve.

y squares, which I appreciated. The plated meals were decently priced and the cash bar worked out great. We had done the NY Strip and the Chicken Cordon Bleu with twice baked red potatoes and green beans with bacon. The meal was served with salad and rolls and the free drinks were lemonade, tea and water. Their proteins were amazing during the taste test and I absolutely loved the potatoes. The green beans with bacon were just as great. They do give you the option of renting the entire space or just half of the room. Our party was so small we could've gone with just half but we were wanting to try and space it out so people didn't feel smashed together so we had paid for the whole building. We ended up only using half, though, which I was kinda upset with, but the room came together so nicely and it worked out perfectly. Food was put out hot and drinks were cold. The lights were dimmed perfectly for our lights that we had put up. I absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend for catering or party!

Everything they set up for us was just as we asked, and it turned out beautifully. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was for some communication and organization problems leading up to the wedding. They were often very late getting back to us by email (they would say we would hear Tuesday, and we wouldn't hear until after we called wondering the following Thursday, for instance; and once we just never heard back at all), and many of the things we discussed never made it to our written banquet order (usually, they had it written down somewhere else, but if we don't have it in writing from them, how are we supposed to know that they heard us??).

ntive to all of the guests. Not only do they do a great job with the food, but the service is excellent as well. The management staff is easy to work with and willing to do whatever is requested and at a great price. I requested a few appetizers for the cocktail hour that was not on their menu and they were very willing to make them for us and display them as we had requested.
