The Palace at Somerset Park located in Somerset, New Jersey is the perfect distance from Manhattan, Philadelphia and international airports. There are 40 acres of manicured estate surrounded picturesque gardens with continuous tree lines around the entire estate. Giving the couples the ultimate canvas for creating their own personal touches from the custom lighting to linen colors. With 25 foot ceilings, custom chandeliers and a grand staircase for dramatic entrances the Palace is the place to be.
As guests enter through magnificent private entrances with valet, they will be greeted by tuxedoed servers with sparkling water and champagne into the foyer area. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour with a top shelf open bar complete with fine crafted cocktails, butlered hors d’oeuvres, multiple live stations and French doors leading to a 5,000 square foot outdoor terrace with firepits and seating all evening.
Ceremonies on site can take place in multiple locations including outside for a “ceremony in the sky” overlooking trees and gardens. With 1,100 square feet of space to get ready or touch up in, the wedding suite will be a perfect place for a bridal party to gather. Food and cocktails are provided with assistance from a top notch bridal attendant while the Maitre’d runs the event.
The Palace is staffed with some of the finest chefs, creating delicious cuisine for each event that they host. Head Chef Justin di Bianca, member of Chaine des Rotisseurs, is dedicated and passionate about the work he does. When creating packages, he keeps in mind different cultures to highlight every individual and make the wedding day their own.

We loved The Palace from the moment we stepped inside. The West House ballroom is beautiful, as are the grounds, outside terrace, and cocktail hour room. We ended up having our ceremony in the Grand Foyer and as the bride, I made my entrance down the staircase, which was spectacular. We also used The Palace getting-ready suites during the day of the wedding, which were nice and very convenient.
Throughout all of the planning, Antonia was super responsive. She answered my million questions always in a timely manner and provided different options and suggestions where relevant. Not a single detail was left out during the day of the wedding. David, our maitre d, was absolutely fantastic. He kept us on schedule and always made sure that we were where we needed to be. He was dedicated to giving us the perfect day and he did just that! As the bride, I also had Vanessa as my morning bridal attendant and then Wendy as my afternoon/evening attendant, and they were both great! They were SO on top of everything and always made sure that they were helping me with my dress, bouquet, veil, and food/drinks, at all times.
The guests were raving about the food, and the cocktail hour in particular was fantastic! We also added the fireworks which were absolutely beautiful and people were raving about how spectacular they were.
Overall, The Palace gave us an incredibly memorable and perfectly orchestrated wedding that we will never forget!
I cannot recommend The Palace enough! Ella was our planner and was so lovely throughout the process and patient with some unique questions and requests from our family. Mirian as our bridal attendant and Edyta as our Maitre'D are both 10/10. Joy who works at the venue is also a total star. Throughout the process, we felt like family and were so taken care of by the entire staff. Day-of we had some rain that forced our ceremony indoors and the team was swift and communicative with the changes. Our guests had the most incredible experience with fireworks and cocktail hour putting our wedding over the top. There are a lot of venues in NJ, but price, food and beverage and service cannot be beat at The Palace. They want to make your experience incredible and we felt that.
The Palace is the perfect wedding venue - not only were the grounds beautiful but the staff was amazing! We only had our reception there but in hindsight I wish I had my ceremony there as well. We worked with Alex to plan our event which was so simple. She was super responsive when we had questions and helped us nail down final details. Additionally, the bridal attendant and maitre d were also fantastic - I didn't worry about anything once we got to the reception because we knew it was in good hands with them. Our guests left raving about the food and the service - it's all they can talk about. 10/10 would highly recommend this venue.

The venue took excellent care of us and our guests. The maitre d and the bridal assistant did everything in their power to reduce any stress or anxiety and to make everything go smoothly. All of our guests could not stop raving about the food and how friendly and attentive the staff was.
We recently had our wedding at The Palace in April 2024. We can’t say enough how amazing our wedding was. From the wedding planner you’re assigned from the time of booking to the organization of planning done on their end and then on the day of- the food, the staff, the venue - over the top in every way. Special shout out to Alex Favale who helped us every step of the way and David, our maitre d for the night who made our night run more smoothly than we could imagine.
We LOVE The Palace!
We got married a little over two weeks ago. Our guests are still talking about The Palace. The food, the service, and the location are nothing short of amazing. Our event planner, Ella, our bridal attendant, Cindy, and our Maitre D, Nick, made sure our special day went without any issues. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. If you want an elegant wedding and reception, look no further than The Palace.
We had our wedding reception at the Palace & although everything was great, I ended up with food poisoning the next night... I had terrible symptoms for the following days & was unable to fully enjoy my honeymoon trip. Many of our guests got sick too. We have been very disappointed.
I recently had my wedding there and I would say that the palace was amazing. The staff was supper attentive throughout the evening and very professional. I had a few people who were attending that had some dietary restrictions and they were so accommodating and made sure my guest did not have to worry about being able to eat throughout the evening. They worked with us through every step in the process and always referred back to us for a final decision. I could not have asked for a better wedding day without the dedication and help of the staff at the palace I could not recommend them more highly for your wedding.
I truly do not know where to begin when it comes to The Palace. My now husband and I fell in love from the second we drove up to this venue. We were greeted by Brigitte Hofmann, our sales manager, who warmly introduced us to The Palace. She answered our questions professionally, gave us all options and could not have been more helpful in her guidance. Our appointment(s) with her were always so enjoyable, helpful and it was our first big introduction to our wedding process. We were then introduced to our wedding planner (that The Palace provides you with) Raphaella (Ella) Bonavitacola and this woman deserves multiple awards. The most diligent, helpful, responsive, over the top (in the best way), dedicated wedding planner we've had the honor of working with. She went above and beyond for us. She kept me (the bride) sane, while helping me navigate the stresses of wedding planning. She would think of things before I even had to ask and ensured that the flow of every single detail was overlooked carefully. She always kept things fun at the end of the day and there are no words to describe how much she means to us. If you're lucky enough to work with Ella, count your blessings she is UNBELIEVABLE; and so talented. Lastly, on the day of our wedding we worked with David Parada; our maitre-d for the day/night of our wedding. Words fall short. Yet again, this gentleman went above and beyond for us. His personality was infectious, his talent was overwhelmingly apparent and his dedication to us was so visibly seen throughout the night. Every single detail was gone over with a fine tooth comb, ensuring that our vision would come to light. He was ON THE BALL the entire night, handled things without us even knowing/ realizing and every single one of our guests could see how fantastic this gentleman was. He was the man behind the magic. Biggest shout out to my bridal attendants: Wendy and Cindy they were incredible, so attentive, helpful and kept my spirits up throughout the business of the day. Joy, from guest services who was working throughout my wedding day and night was such a JOY to work with. She kept us laughing alongside our bridal party. If you are lucky enough to have your wedding or any event at the palace- consider yourself in the BEST hands. They are a fabulous, kind, warmhearted and well oiled machine. Your wedding and/ or event will epic; just like our wedding was. Thank you to The Palace for giving us the wedding of our dreams- you will forever hold a huge place in our hearts!
Our wedding at The Palace was an absolute dream come true. The venue coordinator, Alex, was outstanding in every way - she was incredibly responsive, energetic, and an absolute pleasure to work with. The maitre d, David, brought a level of professionalism and experience that made our wedding day run seamlessly. His ability to execute an organized event was truly remarkable.
The bridal assistant, Vanessa, was not only sweet but also incredibly hard-working and provided a calming presence throughout the day. The venue itself exudes traditional elegance and was absolutely gorgeous, setting the perfect backdrop for our celebration. And let's not forget the food and dessert – our guests are still talking about how delicious it all was. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding experience at The Palace.
Having our wedding at the Palace was the easiest decision for us. As soon as we visited, we were blown away by its beauty. We stopped by multiple times before our wedding day, and at each visit, every single person we spoke to was beyond friendly and very helpful answering any and all questions we had. Antonia was my rock leading up to our big day – always so quick to respond and calm any nerves I had beforehand. On our wedding day, Marcia and Sabrina were the best bridal attendants we could have hoped for. Without even asking, they just knew the next thing any of us needed and made sure we were happy the entire day. Also, a huge shout-out to David for being an excellent Maître D ensuring a smooth day for us – and for catching my bouquet!
I am taking time to write this after recuperating from the most magnificent day of my life!!!
I wanted you to know that everything, I mean everything was absolutely perfect!! Our guests are
still texting and emailing us to say it was the best wedding they have ever attended. They felt
welcome from the moment they entered the door. They commented on how well organized and executed every part of the day was.
The food was delicious and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection.( My mother was very happy)
Now to the amazing team that serviced me, the nervous bride. It started with Bridgette who gave us our tour and solidified my dream of
having our wedding at the Palace. She witnessed my tears, as I visualized our beautiful day in the East House. She also got us our lamb chops.
Then the handoff to Raphaella, who got the Bride who was not just nervous but had some concerns. Raphaella, thank you for answering
my questions and emails and giving me all of the information I needed as I added vendors to the process. Thank you for the amazing tasting.

Now for the team who managed everything to result in perfect execution for the day, thank you to Marcia and David!!! What a dynamic duo and they tag teamed everything seamlessly. Marcia met us on Wednesday as we dropped off items and she filled in for David. I was so happy to know that she would be with me, since I loved her when I met her at our tasting. She xtended herself and even gave me her cell number should I have any questions or issues that I thought of after our meeting. Especially since I had forgotten several items at home. As I apologized, she just kept saying
"no problem, do not stress, you can drop them off tomorrow." She put me at ease and as promised she was there to receive the items. As we arrived at 10:00am on Sunday she was right there waiting for me to get me to the Bridal Suite and she attended to every detail, juggling her responsibilities for venue set up and making sure we had fresh hot coffee and Mimosas. Since my mother was also the Officiant, she was not there to dress me, but no worries Marcia said that she would dress me and make sure I was ready and ready I was!!! She kept us on time and moved us along. When I arrived at the
staircase, she told me that no matter what if anything went wrong just stop and she would fix it. Well, my veil came off on the staircase and Marcia to the the
rescue. That was my experience the entire day with her. She is absolutely amazing and she made me feel so special and well taken care of. I also know that she did the same for the men.
David was the master executioner, with absolute precision. He kept us organized and on time and everything flowed beautifully. It was as if he was superman operating with lightning speed, but we never felt rushed! We never felt short changed. Our guests also raved about the quality of service they received from all of the waitstaff.
Military white glove service was on display all evening and my guests felt like absolute royalty. Our Black Tie Wedding Day was absolutely perfect and it would not have been possible without the Palace and your amazing team. Thank you to everyone who made CATES DAY the most memorable day for my husband and I and our family and friends who traveled from all over the country to be with us.
The Palace was the first venue we toured and ended up being the only one we toured. From our first meeting, we knew our wedding was in great hands. The Palace was so incredibly organized from start to finish. Our guests cannot stop talking about the food both at cocktail hour and the dinner entrees. Dessert is another category entirely! Everything about our wedding at The Palace was perfect. We cannot think of one thing that could've gone better. The east ballroom felt so elegant with the high ceilings, beautiful chandeliers, magnificent staircase and lovely tables. We opted to add in pork roll egg and cheese sandwiches as a to go station and our guests loved it and they were all raving about our cigar roller. We got married on the east side outdoor terrace and we got the most beautiful pictures of our ceremony. The Palace gardens are also so beautiful and our wedding photos came out amazing. Overall, The Palace was absolute perfection and I would not change anything about our wedding day.
Booking The Palace was the best decision of our wedding planning. We worked directly with Antonia, who was amazing from start to finish. From her first email introducing herself to us, we knew immediately that we were in the best hands. Every single email of mine (hundreds!) was answered so fast! Our matre'd for our wedding was David who was BEYOND what any amazing words can describe. One month later and we are still receiving compliments of how amazing everything was. The food was so on point that night, from cocktail hour through dessert, I cannot even express quite how good it was. Overall, The Palace truly made us feel like royalty and we are so thankful for all of the staff!
We celebrated my daughter's sweet 16th at the Palace. This breathtaking venue lives up to its name. The Palace is absolutely the best place for hosting your event. The staff made us feel like royalty. The planning process with Ella was flawless. Every employee that I came across at the Palace was a delight. Our Maître d, David was simply excellent, the day of the event. He took care of everything from start to finish. He made the guests feel welcomed and took care of all the details including keeping the program on-time. The event was a night to remember because of folks like Alan, Vanessa and Joy who were the best. I would highly recommend this venue because the staff is simply top notch. Our guests all have given feedback about this amazing venue and can't say enough about how they felt like royalty. Thank you so much to the Palace for making our special day so royal.
The palace is just unbelievable! They are top notch and execute flawlessly. Their staff is amazing, and David and Miriam are the people you want for your event. We had the best wedding ever people are still raving about it . If you’re thinking about getting married at the palace- you should do it! For their price, and what they provide, you will not find a better deal.
The Palace was absolutely amazing from the very beginning until the second we walked out at the end of the night and stepped onto the shuttle to bring us to the hotel. The food was amazing - from the cocktail hour all the way to dessert - no one left hungry. My guests are still raving about the food! The staff also boxed up a bunch of leftovers for us to take home so we ate like royalty for a week. It was truly amazing. We were treated like royalty when we walked in at 8:30 until we left at 11:30 PM. Bridgette helped us book the East Ballroom and secure a price we could not beat! From there, Antonia helped us plan the most beautiful and perfect wedding. It brought tears to my eyes the day of because I just couldn't believe that it was "our" wedding. Antonia was an absolute dream to work with - when I was panicking the week prior to our wedding, she called me and calmed me down and let me know that everything was going to be okay. A true GEM if you have Antonia are your wedding coordinator! ALSO - Antonia's dad works there as well and he made sure to check on us ALL night, even though technically he didn't have too. He was just as amazing!!
If you have David as your Maitre d' - you are SET for the night. David made sure EVERYTHING and I mean everything went perfectly! He was there for us for whatever we needed. He got us whatever we needed. I even called on him for support and help when I was reading my vows out loud haha!! He was just amazing overall. My guests loved him, we loved him, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about him and his staff.
Last, but certainly not least - my bridal attendants were AMAZING. I had 2 because we were there for so long. They both were dolls and waited on me and my bridal party the entire time we were there. Everything I asked for or my (now) husband asked for, they both made sure we had in a few seconds. I couldn't have asked for better service.

The Palace was the first venue we toured, and we fell in love instantly. This venue has EVERYTHING—beautiful grounds, exquisite ballrooms and suites, an insane variety of delicious food, and the most incredible and accommodating staff. We had the pleasure of having Antonia as our event planner—she worked very closely and patiently with us for a little over a year to make sure that we were on track for wedding prep. We also had a wonderful experience with our maître d’ David, and our bridal attendants Sabrina and Mirian—they took such great care of us on our wedding day, including making sure both of us were fed (very important)! It’s almost as if they already knew of any potential problems and immediately got rid of them before we even had a chance to stress out! Our guests are still raving about the food, especially the cocktail hour and Viennese dessert display—they loved that there was something for everyone to enjoy. Honestly, we could go on about how much we love the Palace for giving us our dream wedding, but we’ll let the Palace speak for itself! Go schedule a tour with them!
Our wedding was November 28, 2021 and choosing to have our wedding at the Palace was the best decision we made! I knew i wanted our wedding there within minutes of walking in and it far exceeded our expectations! Words can't describe how amazing everything and everyone was. The Palace is absolutely beautiful and even in late November still had beautiful colors on the trees for pictures. Guests raved about the venue and the food, especially cocktail hour! Our day of coordinator was Antonia and she was so helpful with planning and answering any questions leading up to the day. David was our maitre d and was absolutely amazing! He was on point with everything and made the night go so smoothly. Brittany was our bridal attendant and she was so nice and helpful! Lucky we had them both to help us through the night! I loved everything about our experience at the Palace and only wish we could do the night again! Over a year later and still can't get over what an absolute dream wedding it was. Can't wait to go back as a guest! Do not hesitate to book your wedding here!!
If I could give this place a 10 star rating, I would me and my husband were very happy by the service and treatment. It’s not only our guests of our bridal party. David, the maître d’. patient with my drunk relatives and my bridal attendant. Myriam attended to my every need as well as that of my three-year-old son. There was no need for grand decor because of how beautiful the location is. The food was absolutely phenomenal. They truly made me feel like a Queen for a Day so glad that I could look back on my day and be completely satisfied with how everything went.
The Palace made everything so easy for us! From planning they answered all my questions and the day of they were on top of everything. The food was excellent, and the Viennese hour - WOW! My guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been too. Loved the Palace!
Our wedding planning began a few months after the first case of COVID and we were very nervous about finding a venue without seeing it. We are very lucky to have found the Palace (they seriously provide the best experience for those that are getting married). Our amazing sales manager Brigitte Hofmann, wedding planner Alex Favale, Maitre’D Daniel Rodas, and the rest of the team at the Palace created a stressless experience for us. Brigitte answered all of our questions about the venue and COVID, Alex replaced our previous wedding planner and did it without any challenges, and Daniel made sure we were able to enjoy the day without managing all of the logistics. Outside of the incredible staff, the venue is BEAUTIFUL. All of the spaces (entrance, landscape, entrance, cocktail area, ceremony space, ballroom) at the Palace are top notch. Now let's talk about the food. The food blew us away from the food tasting and wedding! Our guests were amazed at the wide range of options provided upon arriving at the venue, cocktail hour, dinner, and the viennese table. Many of the guests said that our wedding was the best that they’ve ever attended and the Palace played a major role in making this happen. While we could have saved some money by going with other venues in the area, we wouldn’t change our decision to go with the Palace. Our wedding experience was unlike anything that we could imagine and we appreciate everything that the Palace did for us.
As father of the bride, I can't tell you how PERFECT the day was. The newlyweds had the wedding they dreamed of, as parents it was magical and everyone who attended said they had a great time. They have every detail covered. All T's were crossed and every i was dotted. Thank you for a perfect day.
The Palace was nothing short of amazing. Upon driving up to the venue we were already impressed with how big and beautiful the property is. My husband and I were in awe when we took a tour of the facility with Rich. Mid-way through the tour of the West wing, I could not help but notice my husband's continuous smile and bright eyes--because I mirrored the same expression. The bridal suite is huge and was a huge selling point for me including the timeframe I would have in it! The grooms suite was also exceptional. Our guests raved about the venue. The food, the service, the drinks, the look! One guest thought the wedding cost $100,000 lol! We loved the sophistication and class of The Palace. We could not have asked for more or better! Money well spent! Antonia (our day of coordinator) was fantastic from the moment we met her months before the wedding and kept us organized and on track. We were able to have the wedding of our dreams with The Palace. Look no further! The Palace was everything we needed and more!
Our wedding had about 320 guests and we rented out the entire house for a full day event.
From the beginning the staff at the Palace was super professional and made us feel like we were in good hands. During our initial visit, they walked us through all of the amenities and how they could accommodate a mixed Hindu/western wedding.
The venue itself is fantastic. The bride and groom suites are very large, the grounds have many places to take photos, and the architecture is simply put, grand.
The Palace is definitely not cheap but you do get a whiteglove service. Here are a few examples that really stick out:
Richard, our initial sales person, walked us around the premises. He asked all the right questions to understand our needs and listened very carefully to our feedback and wishes. They asked about the baraat, suggested a place and positioning of the mandap, knew that there would be dietary restrictions the day of, and many more small details that made us feel like they had done this many times before and this was all on the first meeting.
Antonia, our wedding planner, that we were talking to for the months leading up to the event was extremely patient, even when we were thrashing on decisions. She had very good response time when answering our many questions over email and could quickly update room arrangements when we made new requests.
Our maitre ‘d, David, was on the ball the week before and all day on the day off. He had several recommendations for how we should make our appearances and listened to my father in law’s very specific requests for food placement. On the wedding day, his energy levels somehow remained high throughout the entire 14 hour event and through his earpiece he could seemingly summon anything and anyone at will. He had recommendations whenever they were needed and guided us on the parts that we might have stumbled through. For example, when we were cutting the cake, he made sure to stay out of photographs but we could clearly hear him say “Now move the knife an inch to the right and make another cut…”
The bridal assistants (Ashley, Palak,and Anhila) on the day of were amazingly professional. They made sure all of our food and beverage needs were taken care of, they would relay messages between the suites, and bustled the bride’s dress after the ceremony.
Pricing was straightforward and they stuck to the contract but make sure you understand which catering will be handled by them or an external caterer when you sign the contract. They will not try to nickel and dime you or do hidden upcharges. I would definitely choose The Palace again if I was doing it all over again.

The Palace is truly an amazing venue and I cannot say enough good things. Even several months after our wedding, we are still receiving compliments. From the beautiful grounds/interior, the food, and the staff, everything was a 10/10.
Shoutout to Alex for all of her hard work during the planning phases and for answering our many questions (especially during the pandemic) and to Ashley and David for being here, there and everywhere during our big day. They both worked tirelessly to make sure we had everything we needed, were having fun, and even checked in with our close family members which they were super impressed by! Also shoutout to the rest staff who kept everything running smoothly like a well oiled machine.

I first signed my contract with The Palace in February 2020. After re-scheduling because of the pandemic, I finally had the wedding day I always dreamed of. The Palace goes above and beyond with their service - I have heard from my guests that their servers were very attentive to them throughout the whole night which is often hard to find in a venue. Everything went smoothly thanks to the excellent service from my Maître D Josh and my bridal attendant Ashley. I had nothing to worry about and they kept everything organized and helped me and my guests with any concerns-including wardrobe malfunctions and issues with outside vendors. I am still getting compliments on what a great night it was and how good the food and drinks were. I also want to thank my planner Traci who kept me organized over the last two years and helped me with any questions or concerns I had while trying to put the day together. The Palace puts together a great team to create the wedding day you always pictured.
From the moment my husband and I visited the Palace, we knew we had to have our wedding there! It was the BEST decision we made. From the time we booked to day of our wedding everything was perfect. Our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour, dinner and the stunning Viennese display!!
The first person we met with was Jose. He was friendly, personable and answered all of our questions leading up to booking our wedding. He was patient when we kept asking questions about our contract and worked with us to make sure we got everything we wanted.
Then we worked with Antonia as our event planner. She was so wonderful to work with. Antonia must have over 100 emails from us!! She always answered our emails within a day or two and worked with us throughout 2 1/2 years of concerns and questions! When we had our final meeting with her, she put me at such ease with the calm and positive demeanor regarding everything involved in our wedding day.
Our Maitre D for the day of our wedding was David. I had two bridal attendance on my wedding day because I were there all day. Ashley and Madison were my bridal attendants. OMG they were such rockstars!!! They truly made our day!!! David made sure EVERYTHING was smooth sailing and worked seamlessly with our large bridal party that included four kids!!! From the moment we met with David we knew we were in great hands! Ashley and Madison were my right hand! Ashley was my bridal attendant in the morning. She got me and my girls anything we needed and checked in with us constantly! She was wonderful! Madison was my bridal attendant in the evening. I'm pretty sure I was talking her ear off all night because I was so nervous, especially for the ceremony!! She was there when I needed her and was wonderful during the ceremony and reception. She was fantastic!

We choose this Venue back in March and had the wedding in December. We are very glad we choose this place as they are great with planning. Wedding planning is daunting and has a lot of boxes to check off. The Palace comes with a wedding planner, Maitre D, and Bridal attendant to help everything come together.
The wedding planner was able fill in the large details where we can start to align the vision of the wedding. The Maitre D/Banquet Manager we worked with is amazing. He was able to work on the many smaller details. He was able to coordinate with all the vendors to make sure the day goes smoothly. My wife and I were able to mentally check out of planning and truly enjoy our day. Lastly the bridal attendant helped my wife get all the items she needed for the day.
A big plus is that you will have time to eat. You can have the cocktail hour food brought to your suite if you want to take a break. During the reception they will give you your main course plus small side dishes of the other main entrees. On top of they they will make sure you have you glasses filled with what ever drink you have, even cocktails.
The venue alone is a beautiful place that has rooms that can fit 100 - 185 people (west room) or 185+ (east room). The have suites for the bride and the groom to prepare & relax for the day. They have outside seating where you and your guests can enjoy all year round (they have outside heaters and fire pits). The one notable thing our guests kept on mentioning is how good the cocktail hour is.

On 12/26/2021, I had my reception at The Palace. We originally booked in 2019 for an April 2021 date, but ultimately had to move it due to COVID. From the day we had the tour with the Palace, we felt at ease and comfortable with everyone there. As soon as papers were signed, we started working with Traci who helped us navigate through all of COVID. When we made the decision to move, The Palace was unbelievable accommodating to the situation and made the entire process to move our date easy. We had booked the entire venue given our original headcount and were limited with dates to move to, but they worked with us to find a new date that worked. When Traci went on maternity leave, we started working with Antonia. Both Traci and Antonia answered all our crazy questions and kept us at ease planning a wedding through a pandemic. On the day of, David was our maître d and Ashley was my bridal attendant. The two of them are a match made in heaven. They were both extremely attentive and made the day enjoyable and managed everything for us. The food at the palace is unbelievably good and for a reception of over 200 people, everyone’s steak was cooked medium/medium well. Cocktail hour and the Viennese dessert were also outstanding. They had every option we could have wanted and we kept hearing from our guests how good the food was. We also requested the meat to be halal and the Palace was able to accommodate this for us as well which was extremely important for my family. When we were below our contracted minimum due to COVID, The Palace provided options for us to make up the difference which also made the overall wedding planning process seamless. Overall I would recommend The Palace to anyone who is looking to host an event. From the food, the team and overall service, everything they have to offer is amazing.
Our wedding day was absolutely amazing, and a large part of it was due to The Palace! We knew we wanted to get married at The Palace from our first virtual appointment where we saw pictures and videos of the grounds, but knew it was the one as soon as we walked into the venue in person. From our first meeting with Richard from sales, to Antonia, our amazing wedding coordinator, who answered every single question and helped us plan our special day, to David, our Maitre d' who kept us calm and told us to just enjoy our day as he and his team would take care of everything (which they absolutely did!), to Ashley, our bridal attendant who kept us company while we were in the suite and who figured out my complicated bustle with ease (thank you!), it was such a pleasure to work with this venue from start to finish. They were accommodating from the beginning, had an amazing food selection, and their service was like no other. We're three weeks out from our wedding on 11/21 and our family and friends are still talking about the service and the amazing food that The Palace provided! We honestly could not have asked for a better wedding day and we truly thank you all for making it such a fantastic celebration!
I recently had my “re do I do “at the Palace on 11-12-21...Ladies…all I can say is it was worth the wait! Since I postponed my wedding last year like many brides... The Palace has been SOOO amazing & so accommodating. You will have nothing to worry about! They made my dream wedding come alive & everything I dreamed of/ waited for! From the beginning working with Traci as my event planner to Antonia taking over while Traci was out on Maternity leave… They were so amazing to work with! They helped make the planning process so smooth & kept me up to date with the changes especially in 2020. They were great with communication & helped bring my dream wedding & the planning process a breeze. I can’t thank them enough!! Maître D’ Josh & Banquet Manager Daniel & my bridal attendant Anahi (hope I spelled her name right lol).…...All 3 of the people on the day of my wedding were so much fun to work with. Josh as my Maitre D’ helped the day be so stress free! He was amazing to work with and talk to during our planning meeting two days before hand & the day of! I am person who I’ll admit gets anxious when it comes to timelines especially for events…He made feel so calm and made sure everything that I wanted to happen that day such as the first look with my dad & my husband happened as they should with my photographers and everything in between. He also helped us with the rehearsal and gave suggestions to me and my dad especially walking down the stairs in the West house. He was so much fun to work with it! Daniel... the banquet Manager I believe came by a few times to check on us in the morning and through out the night! He is such as sweet & fun person that you can tell he makes sure that as a bride you have the day of your dreams!! Anahi, my bridal attendant… she was such a sweetheart & sooo helpful. She made sure my train of my dress was good since I am accident prone & didn’t want to trip over my own two feet! She took care of me and my husband the whole night to make sure were ok with drinks & food. The whole night …these 3 amazing people along with all the staff at the palace made us feel we made the right choice in the venue for our big day!

Wow. This place blew me away from the moment I walked in. It’s stunning. They include a maitre d who was our hero all day, a coordinator that helps you through the entire planning process, and a bridal attendant to help you the entire day. Josh was our maitre d and he was amazing. He was completely catering to us and made sure we were happy and satisfied all night. Our coordinator was Alex and she was sweet as pie. She answered emails quickly and ALWAYS tried to accommodate as best as she could. My bridal attendant was anahi and she was lovely. She fixed my dress and constantly made sure my train was fixed. She got us whatever we wanted all morning and was very attentive. The palace is so wonderful. You get sooooo much included that it’s a no brainer. It’s also one of the most beautiful venues I’ve seen (I toured 7). They have a beautiful Viennese hour and the dessert was delicious. The food was incredible and the head chef was LOVELY and the nicest man I think I’ve ever met. The only reason I deducted .1 is because they don’t allow you into the bridal suite until 1130 and their bridal suite is a huge selling point because of how beautiful it is. 1130 is absolutely not enough time to get ready. Guys also aren’t allowed into the groom suite until 230 which is usually way passed when the photographer comes. I had to pay an additional 250++ per hour to get in earlier because “they could be doing tours.” You’d think a paying bride would be more important than a potential bride but apparently not. Besides that, the place is absolutely lively and I was absolutely shocked by how much they did for us the entire night.
The Palace at Somerset Park was Sooo Beautiful. It definitely beat my expectations. Shout out to Jose, Traci, Antonia and Alexandra for helping us put things together for the wedding.. but the actual day of the wedding the real MVP was JOSH and ASHLEY. They made things go super smooth... and made our Day extra special....

There is only one word to describe The Palace and that is PERFECT! From our initial tour of the venue to our actual wedding day and all the interactions that happened in between, everything and everyone was absolutely PERFECT! Upon our first meeting, sales manager Brigitte gave us an amazing overview of what our whole day would look like as well as all the options available to choose from. Our event planners Traci, Antonia and Alexandra assisted us with every single question or concern (no matter how big or small) during the entire planning process. They were always available to help and so easy to work with. Our Maître’ D David was so amazing! During our final appointment, he made sure to review every detail of the entire day to make sure nothing was missed or overlooked. He took care to accommodate any special requests we had and worked with us closely to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted. On our wedding day, everything ran so smoothly and his attention to detail was unmatched. Our bridal attendant Ashley was there every moment, checking in on us to make sure everyone in the bridal party was taken care from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.
The enhancements offered by The Palace are so worth it! Adding on extra stations to cocktail hour, utilizing the gorgeous flower wall for both our ceremony and reception as well as offering our guests the option to take a slice of wedding cake to go were such great additions to the day.
The food was by far one of the biggest highlights of the night. From our tasting hosted by Chef Justin, the bridal/groom suite snacks and hors devours, cocktail hour stations, passed hors devours, dinner appetizer, main course options, Viennese display and gorgeous wedding cake--every single thing we ate was to die for! Our servers and bartenders for the evening were so attentive, friendly and professional. All of our guests raved about their attention to detail and how well they were taken care of all night.

I cannot say enough amazing things about The Palace at Somerset Park! The room was beautiful, the food was delicious, the staff was so generous, and the Viennese room was just spectacular! Everyone helped make our wedding night run smoothly. Our Maitre d, Joshua was so calm and patient with me. He answered all of my questions and ensured that we had time to do everything we wanted to!
Also, our wedding planner, Traci was absolutely amazing! Since our wedding was originally planned for last year, we have been wedding planning with Traci for almost 3 years. She has always been so kind, patient, and helpful. She answered all of my frantic emails with helpful messages that made me feel more calm. She always went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy. We also worked briefly with another planner, Antonia, who was also extremely helpful. It was the greatest night of our lives (thanks to The Palace)!
From the moment we walked into The Palace and met with Kara back in 2018, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married at! The revenue is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is honestly the best I have ever experienced. The really go above and beyond for their couples!
Due to Covid, our June 2020 wedding was pushed to July 2021. We were devastated but Alex and Antonia eased our nerves as we prepared for another year of our engagement. From start to finish The Palace staff was phenomenal to work with. I work in events, so I constantly reached out to Antonia with questions regarding our floor plan, covid restrictions etc. and she always got back to me instantly and was such a pleasure to work with.
Daniel, the catering manager was so nice at our tasting in April, he came up to our table and explained the current restrictions and the hope that they would be lifted by our July wedding.
The days leading up to our wedding Antonia and Josh made our wedding perfect. We met with Josh our Maitre D’ to go over all of our details and when we walked into The Palace everything looked perfect. Anytime we were looking for Josh, before we could even say where is Josh, he was right there making sure we were happy and making sure our parents and all our guests were having a great time. Days after the wedding our guests are still telling us how beautiful the venue was, how impressed they were with the food menu (guests were loving the raw bar and hibachi station and of course the Viennese display), and how great the staff was onsite. Many people were saying they felt like they were at a fancy venue in the city because of the atmosphere.

This review is long over due since our wedding was in March, however, I can't recommend this venue enough ! This was a dream wedding even in the mist of a pandemic and it is all thanks to Alex, David and Ashley. Due to the Covid restrictions we couldn't have a dance floor and all food and beverages had to be served table side but this just made the experience even better and the dance floor was not missed. My guests are still raving about our wedding and their experience at this venue. I can't thank the staff enough for going above and beyond. Best venue hands down!
The Palace was an absolutely beautiful experience from start to finish! There was no detail left unattended to! The day flowed smoothly thanks to Antonia, Josh, bridal attendant, maitre d and everyone behind the scenes! The venue is breathtaking inside & out! Our guests were so impressed at the atmosphere, the incredible food and top shelf beverages!this is the only place to have a wedding! As patents, we wanted to give our daughter the wedding of her dreams & The Palace guaranteed that!!!! Worked so closely and professionally with us to reschedule due to Covid last year and had the patience to communicate with us and alleviate our anxiety and postponement- Antonia is a saint! Would give it even more stars if I could!

The Palace is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My husband and I got married at The Palace on April 23, 2021 at the East Ballroom during the pandemic time. We have been looking around for the perfect venue to hold our wedding we made a couple of appointments at other places. We made an appointment with Jose the sales director of this venue, he was very pleasant easy to talk too and not pushy at all. He showed us around the whole place and answered all of our questions. We can tell that Jose wasn't trying to make a sale or book a wedding. He was very sincere and wanted to make sure that when we do decide to commit and sign with The Palace that it's because we truly LOVE the place, and he has this personality where he makes you feel like you are family to him and NOT just another sale.
Our Party Coordinator Alex F was also great she was very helpful with making decisions when it came down to the details for the big day. She had a very contagious personality where you just know you are going to be taken care of no matter what happens. She was also extremely patient with us when it came down to providing her with important information's regarding the vendors etc. My Bridal attendant Madison was simply FANTASTIC she wasn't just their to make sure that I had a very relaxing and enjoyable time, but she also made sure that everything I needed along with my bridal party are on point and attended too. She even helped my husband set up some of our DIY decorations in the morning while i was getting my hair and make up done. When she was done doing whatever it is she was setting up she would come back to my bridal suite and make sure me and my bridal party are doing fine and eating and drinking. I never once needed to tell her what to do she was consistently on top of everything! The moment that we arrived at The Palace she took great care of us. She quickly took all of our dresses and hung them up and steamed my dress and long veil so it would be ready for videos and pictures. Madison was ALWAYS around when needed and when NOT needed she helped me EVERYTHING. If I can describe her in 1 word it would be FANTASTIC! Our Maître D David was THE BOMB after our first meeting with him I felt very calm and stress free. The day of our wedding he made sure along with his team that my husband & I did not need to worry about anything. That our only one job for that whole entire day is to just soak in everything and enjoy every single moment and to have FUN! I couldn't have asked for a better Maître D David made everything super possible and my husband and I felt taken care of and that we do NOT need to worry about anything what's so ever. He made sure that everything was on point from lighting all the candles at the ceremony area all the way to the East Ballroom. Making sure that all of our pictures, signs and other little decorations for the ceremony and main entrance flows together and properly placed at the right spot. Making sure that all of our guest, vendors, and us are having an AMAZING time. The way he pay attention to smallest little details are just simply superb and we are truly appreciative to EVERYTHING that he did for our wedding! The Palace at Somerset Park deserves more than a 5 stars this place has impeccable service from the time you enter the facility until the end of the night. Their foods and cocktails are abundant and tasty & even though our wedding was during the pandemic it didn't really feel like it was what's so ever. This place doesn't disappoint
The only way to do The Palace justice is to start from the beginning:
Jose (director of sales): Back in 2019 when we were both looking at venues to host our event Jose helped us discuss the options available to us at The Palace. Not only did his extreme professionalism sway us to choose The Palace as our venue the venue itself spoke for itself. He answered all of our questions both email & phone and was so professional even though at times we felt as though we were a complete bother to him. His level of commitment and desire to help his clients started the moment we met with him and literally to days before the wedding.
Alex (Coordinator): As the day drew closer we had the pleasure of working with Alex. She worked closely with us to ensure that we scheduled out tasting and made sure to personally come talk to us during that night. She was SO accommodating to my mothers allergies! In preparing for the day of she made sure that all vendors provided their insurance information well prior and everything was squared away. we all know days before the wedding day we all forget things but fret not she is there to remember and help you thru it.
David (matre D'): We requested requested David from a close friend of mine that is in the wedding industry as well. Do the right thing and ask for him! He is so attentive he walks you thru the entire process from the minute you wake up the day of the wedding to the minute you end the night. He works tirelessly days prior to your day and the day of to ensure that everyone is on point and that both my wife and I are where we need to be. At one point during the night my wife got an allergic reaction to something and between him and bridal attendant (Madison) was able to get her allergy medicine which solved the problem. Since our wedding was during COVID he was even able to accommodate the fact that I had guests not stay for the dinner portion but only the cocktail hour and allow them to take their dinner home. He always had a smile on his face made sure that we had everything we needed and made the day just even better!
Daniel (Senior Matrie D): He helped when I had to store DIY stuff the day prior and was there when I picked it up the day before. It like David always had a smile on his face and was so helpful that with him i would not have been able to set up the event with our DIY stuff.
Madison (Bridal Attendant): We love her. My wife and I choose to do a few of the center pieces by ourselves so I showed up early the morning of the wedding to set things up. Madison was there to help not only me but my wife! She was running here and there allowing me to borrow easels to set up signs and to keep me from exploding our of frustration. She was an absolute help the ENTIRE night. Making sure we always had drinks in our hands, helping with the allergy medicine, helping my wife when she was getting ready, holding the flowers when we were taking photos and getting people to where they needed to be.
The Venue: IT IS BEAUTIFUL! The bridal suite / groom suite are amazing and during the day of food / drinks where the plenty. The food is outright amazing and THERE IS SO MUCH OF IT and there was an endless supply of drinks.
Closing: 5 Stars is just not enough! We had the East Ballroom and it is just beautiful. My guests continue to say that this was the best wedding they have ever gone too and that would not have been able to be done without the help of every single person at The Palace.
The Palace is absolutely amazing. My husband and I got married on May 22, 2021 in the west ballroom. All of our guests had the best time thanks to the wonderful staff making sure our wedding went smoothly. We were engaged for a year and a half before COVID and luckily for us, restrictions lifted just in time. Our Maitre D, David is FABULOUS. He took care of every little detailed and made our dream wedding come to life. He even made a bar sign for me with our signature drinks since the walk up bar had just opened a week before my wedding and I didn't have time to make my own by that point. My bridal attendant was Ashley and she is a sweetheart and SO helpful. She constantly made sure we had a drink in our hand, picked up my long train when walking around the property for photos, bustled my dress, held my bouquet at times, and so much more. I knew we were going to have the best time ever when we booked The Palace back in 2019, and they have been amazing during the Pandemic. Traci was also a wonderful planner and answered my emails promptly. Last but not least, the food is delicious and guests will love everything about it. BOOK THE PALACE! You will not be disappointed!

Husband and I got married on May 1, 2021 and our day was phenomenal. From the moment we met our salesmen, Jose, we knew we were in good hands. We had a long engagement which was made even longer (thanks Covid) and from one planner to the next, our transition was seamless and we were able to pick up right where we left off. We were planning long distance and the miles did not stop the staff from making us feel like we were right there planning along side of them. My husband surprised me with fireworks at our reception and everyone kept it a complete surprise through every meeting or interaction I had with them. Our final planner was Alex and she was amazing. She answered all of our questions, reassured us on details we were unfamiliar with, and was more than willing to accommodate our requests. The chef was outstanding! Our menu was rearranged (again because of Covid) but he was so willing to allow us to mix and match items we wanted to make sure our experience was tailored to our wants and needs. Finally, our day-of staff were superb. David was our maître d’ and at our initial meeting with him we knew our day was going to be nothing short of magnificent. Daniel was his right hand man and was there to assist us with anything we needed. Ashely was my bridal attendant and she was on point! Helping with my dress, veil, holding my flowers, and even helping my bridesmaids when disaster struck (don’t worry, she handled it beautifully and I didn’t even know until long after!) The entire staff at The Palace went above and beyond not only for us but for our guests as well. We are almost a week out from our wedding and our family and friends still cannot stop talking about our night. 11/10 would recommend to any other couple looking for a venue in New Jersey. Hands down the best venue, with the best staff, with the best food.
It’s literally insane how organized The Palace is!!! They think about every single step and ensure that you have the best experience ever. My husband and I loved our wedding there and I would do it again, a hundred times!
My husband and I just got married at The Palace during Covid 19 and I have not one bad thing to say about this place. The service was unbelievable, they were so accommodating throughout the entire process. Daniel and David, our Maitre Ds went above and beyond that day. I brought with me a neon sign that had our last name on it for the fireplace and the stand I brought to go with it didn’t work so Daniel had them make me a stand that day and then gave it to me to take home that night. They worked so hard to make sure everyone was being safe and made it feel like it wasn’t a Covid wedding. During cocktail hour everyone was seated at a table but all food stations and drinks were brought to the guests which I actually liked better. My bridal attendant, Ashley was the best! She bobby-pinned my hair when it fell out, sewed my 9 month pregnant sister into her bridesmaid dress, had alcohol waiting at the end of the aisle after the ceremony, got chocolate out of my dress and so much more. I’ve heard of other venues not giving money back during covid or making you guarantee the original amount of people you had told them prior to covid but not here. They gave me a check back the day of due to rescheduling my wedding and having the price of the seats change. Also because the minimum number of people changed. If you’re looking for a wedding venue this is the place you want, I would get married here ten times over. It’s affordable, the food is amazing and the staff is even better! A huge thank you to The Palace for making my wedding incredible during a not so incredible time!
Our daughter’s wedding was held at The Palace on March 5, 2021. It was rescheduled from June of 2020. The Palace was a pleasure to work with, very understanding, and accommodating during the whole planning process. The venue is gorgeous, the food was wonderful, and the service was phenomenal! Our guests kept telling us how delicious the food was and how fantastic the service was. Thank you to Our Maitre’d, Daniel, who made everything run smoothly! Alexandra was our event planner leading up to our big day. She answered emails quickly and helped us navigate all the changes and craziness due to Covid. She was amazing and attentive and I truly don’t think I would have been as calm as I was without her.
The day of we had David, Daniel and Ashley and they were beyond fantastic. David was the Maitre D and made sure the entire night went by without any issues and he completely succeeded. We met Daniel at our tasting and he told us then that we’d have the best Maitre D and that he has a great team and he was not lying! Ashley was my bridal attendant and I felt like she was my best friend by the end of the night! Always there to help me with literally ANYTHING I needed. Right after the ceremony she greeted me and my husband with our drink of choice which I thought was such a nice personal touch.
The food and drinks all had to be served to our guests for cocktail hour and during the reception due to Covid. Some of our guests said they prefer this way and it’s because of how efficient and attentive all the servers were to all the tables. No one had to flag anyone down to ask for something, the servers were completely on point.
The food and drinks were PHENOMENAL!!! And like I said never stopped coming. All the different options for cocktail hour blew our guests minds. The menu was honestly the reason we went to look at the Palace in the first place and it did not disappoint. Truly some of best food I’ve ever had!
I really don’t think there are enough words to explain how thankful we are of all the Palace staff. I want to renew my vows already just to have another party there!! They were amazing and we are so happy we decided to have our wedding there. Our wedding was in the best hands and you can tell they take pride in their work.

My wedding at The Palace at Somerset Park was everything I could’ve hoped for. Especially during COVID I couldn’t have imagined the wonderful experience that they provided. Everybody told us how it was the most amazing wedding they’d ever been to. Since they couldn’t do the stations for cocktail hour they had servers bring food to the table from each station. Our guests were amazed by how quickly the food and drink was being provided. Dinner was amazing and the decorations for the holidays were gorgeous. We received our pictures already and the Palace makes for such a beautiful venue everything came out wonderfully. I already have people asking for contact information so they can plan events there. The people we worked directly with were amazing. Traci, Daniel, David, and Ashley you were amazing. You all really did everything you could to make it a magical experience and I can’t thank you enough.
The quality of service from the food offered, cocktails, Alex F (wedding planner, Jose ( director of sales), David & Daniel (maître D), wait staff and bridal attendants ( Breanna and Ashley) provided the upmost professional and attentive service when planning our wedding and the day of our wedding. The team was very responsive and efficient when taking calls and answering our questions.
We had our wedding at the Palace this past November and although we had to cut our guest list basically in half, we had the most perfect day. During the planning process, the Palace was so accommodating and flexible. Our wedding planner Alex F and the director of catering Jose were the people we planned most of our wedding through. They were always readily available for answer questions and talk about the next steps in regards to our wedding. They always emailed or called us back super fast. This team is very dependable and understanding.
They will work with you to get anything you want or need for your wedding day. The Palace takes care of any concerns and lets you just enjoy your way as a bride and groom.
My mom, sister, bridesmaids, and in laws were obsessed with the bridal suite. It was perfect, clean, and spacious. That should be a selling point for you guys, I have been in 7 weddings prior to my own and nothing measured up to the Palace's bridal suite. My husband also was able to arrive at the venue early and get ready with his groomsmen which he really appreciated. Usually there are not any designated areas for the groom and friends to get ready at venues.
The food was outstanding. Our cocktails, cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert was all served because of COVID-19 restrictions but the feedback from our guests was that they all enjoyed being served so much better. The food was outstanding!! SO good; everyone was raving about the delicious entrees and the cookies they got to take home at the end of the night. The servers apparently took very good care of their tables as our guests told me how attentive everyone was.
The grounds are so well kept, we took the most amazing pictures during daylight hours with the flowers in the background and at the with the Palace lit up as the backdrop. There is so much space in the east ballroom, our guests were very well spread out and all felt comfortable attending our wedding.
Our maître d David ran the show completely the day of our wedding, we were so happy to have him by our side. He had so much patience and guided us every step of the way, from organizing all our pictures, making sure our champagne glasses were put out for our toast and packed back up, to making sure the day ran smoothly for the bridal party, coordinating the cake cutting, and making sure the ceremony was flawless. I appreciated that he took control and ran the ceremony rehearsal for us, that was a big help!!
The bride and groom have bridal attendants assigned to them for the day, I had Ashley and Breanna who were so attentive and helped us and our family out through out the day. Ashley had to sew one of the groomen's pants the ripped. She greeted us with cocktails the second we walked down the aisle after our wedding ceremony which really stuck out in my our mind as a great detail.
I cannot say thank you enough to everyone. Once the world gets back to better times, have your wedding here!! You, your family, friends, and vendors will have an amazing time and the most perfect wedding day.
This venue is absolutely amazing! It is such a beautiful place (inside and outside). They have so many options in regards to the packages and the staff provide excellent service. I would definitely recommend this venue to family and friends.
The Palace is the best venue and I knew I wanted my wedding to be there just by attending another wedding there a few years ago. Traci, Daniel, and Stephanie made sure our wedding was magical. It was better than we ever expected, even during a pandemic. The food was delicious, the cocktails kept coming, and everyone was happy. Out guests said it was the best wedding they have ever attended. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
From the moment we walked into the Palace we knew that this would be the perfect place to have our wedding. Everyone has been extremely helpful since day one and we are so sad that COVID has interrupted our plans. That being said, I cannot say enough good things about the Palace, and especially Alex, who has helped us through this difficult time and has made everything so easy on us - including working with us to cancel our wedding. The Palace has gone above and beyond and I would 100% recommend them to any couple.
We had a beautiful wedding - but the team at the Palace were difficult to work with.
Jose was the first person we met and he was borderline rude and condescending to us as we were trying to pick a date. He was training someone at the time and the two of them were pressuring us into dates we were not interested in. He gave us one price and when we called to confirm he tried increasing that price, stating that is the price we discussed. Luckily HE had written it down on the packet we were given and he agreed to honor the price.
We had over 400 guests, and I guess we were surprised with how the Palace tried to nickel and dime us through the whole process despite how much business we were bringing to them in one night.
Moving on to extras - The Palace has BUILT IN PROJECTORS AND SCREENS in their reception hall. They are already built into the wall. already there. no way to take them down. However, to use them, they wanted to charge us around 2k to have a slideshow playing in the background throughout the evening. Although it was something I really wanted I initially said no. Finally, 2 days before my wedding they kindly threw it into our package for free. I scrambled to make a slideshow 2 days before the wedding. I appreciate them allowing us to use the screens, it was just annoying that they waited until the 2 days before to throw it in.
Same thing with the lights- they wanted to charge close to 3k for uplighting in the room. We wanted it but didn't think it was worth it. 2 days before the wedding they let me pick one color for the room. The day of the wedding they ended up having different colors throughout the night. Very nice for it to be done for us without extra cost. Just annoying that they tried to get us to pay for it and say it wouldn't be there when they ended up doing it.
Traci was a pleasure to work with and helped me design the wedding cake, and finalize all my details.
I'm happy we picked this venue, but I wish they were a little easier to work with like other venues my family has used in the past like Florentine Gardens and the Rockleigh.
Also, 2 days before the wedding they alerted me that their accountant had undercharged us and we owed the Palace $200.... that was extremely annoying and even though it was a mistake on their part, they threatened to cancel the event if this debt was not paid. A little ridiculous considering the tens of thousands of dollars we spent on one night and they forced another $200 out of us.
Our guests did say that the food was delicious and the service was excellent. However, we had a beer and wine wedding with 2 signature drinks and my guests told me they ran out of the signature drinks. Not too mad about it because we did have over 400 guests but it was slightly embarrassing.
My Husband and I couldn’t have been happier with our choice to book our wedding at The Palace! Traci was an absolute delight to work with! She was always responsive to emails and helped ease the planning process. Our families were completely blown away leaving the tasting, we heard great things about the food and it didn’t disappoint! When the week of our wedding came, meeting with Josh was a huge relief and he carried out our vision 100 percent. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The timing, the food, the decor, the cake, the staff, all of it! I know you won’t be disappointed booking with the Palace!
I am extremely happy that we chose the Palace for our wedding venue. The grounds are beautiful inside and out. Every staff member that we came in contact with was friendly and helpful in every way. When we first did out walk through with Jose we were in love with how beautiful it is. After discussing prices and everything that is included we were hooked. he reserved a date that same day. Our wedding coordinated Alexandra was so helpful in the process. She always relied in a timely matter to all of my emails and questions. She was always polite and it made me feel so comfortable with choosing the Palace.
After the food tasting event, I couldn't wait for the guests to taste all the food included. Everyone loved it. The guests have been telling us how much they loved the food and drinks, which made me so happy.
Our Maitre'D Joshua, was so amazing the day of the wedding. My anxiety was at an all time high lol and he was so calm and was assuring me that everything is actually going great which was very helpful. My family had nothing but great things to say about him. I am so thankful.
My bridal attendant Ashley, just amazing. She was just absolutely amazing and helpful all day. From setting up the bridal suite, to steaming my dress and veil, to helping me put on my wedding dress, to watching the ceremony entrances with me on the TV screen at the top of the stairs, to making sure we had food from the cocktail hour brought to the suite, to packing up food for us to go. I mean she did so much and I just love her for that. She is just beyond amazing. I mean I don't know what else to say besides thank you. Thank You from the bottom of my heart. I feel like I am forgetting some stuff but I am just overwhelmed with joy every time I think about March 1, 2020.
