This family-owned company strives to give couples a stress-free planning process with their all-in-one packages and attentive services. Whether you prefer a small, intimate gathering or an extravagant reception, the team will make sure your rentals, decor, and dessert menu match your vision.
Over the years, her team and venues have expanded to give each soon-to-be-wed a full-service planning experience. You will have two separate venues to choose from, each sporting its unique design and aesthetic. So El Monte location offers an indoor and outdoor setting, that seats about 50-300 people. A landscaped lawn area sits in front of a Gazebo, where your guests can watch you exchange your vows. An open-air dining area will allow you to enjoy your reception. The Sheila Venue in the city of Commerce is an indoor venue for up to 150 guests. Which is smaller and intimate for your event.

I’ll start with the positive. The venue was decorated beautifully and our day of coordinator Dylan was AMAZING! he made the day so much easier. They did a really great job at that.
However, we did have issues. Reviews are correct about communication being terrible. Once they took our deposit, we would have to wait days or even longer for response after multiple attempts on our part. At one point, they only responded to us after my husband refused to make the monthly payment since they would not call us back. was this annoying? yes but somewhat understandable.
the big issue was the food. DO NOT CATER WITH THEM! Idk if its just a vendor but our contract was signed with the The Rustic and Chic Co. so it’s on them.
For context, we paid for food for 150 people and we only had 120-130 people at our wedding. We chose to do pasta and salad because I’m a picky eater and we figured it would be filling for our guests. Wrong. Not everyone was able to eat and the people that did eat were served a pasta portion that was smaller than the palm of my hand (and I have tiny hands). As soon as I was served my plate, I was immediately mortified. I don’t understand how anyone thought that was an appropriate portion to serve to anyone. I wish I took a picture it was so bad. I received a portion smaller than when we did at the tasting! (I swear I’n not even exaggerating).
On top of that, people found hair and plastic in the pasta (including the groom).
We ended up having to order 25 pizzas because not everyone ate and the people that did eat were still hungry (understandably). They offered to pay for the pizza’s but ONLY for the people that didn’t get to eat.
It was honestly very embarrassing and ghetto. It was our job to feed our guest for coming to celebrate us. its the bare minimum and we made sure to pay for more food than was needed to ensure everyone ate and they dropped the ball BAD.
Iyou’re looking for a venue on a budget, this is a really good option, but just don’t get their food catering. (Also, something to consider they have an F rating on the Better Business Bureau.)

g of their services. I made the mistake of only reading the positive reviews and regretted it. The issues I experienced were consistent with the complaints mentioned in the negative reviews. It is essential to be aware that the staff, including Sandra, seem to prioritize their own interests over the needs of their clients. My experience was marred by constant changes to the contract, poor communication, and unfulfilled expectations. The vendors they recommended were not satisfactory, and I ended up having to find my own caterer, and florist. The valet service was also a disaster, with two of my guests' cars being broken into. (Which they have not tried to fix or contact any of the guest or even myself to come up with any sort of solution) since the valet was contracted by them. When I reached out they told me to take it up with their Valet service. I would caution against using their valet service and recommend exploring other options for your event. In hindsight, I wish I had never hired them, and I would advise others to avoid this venue altogether.

her team were easy t get a hold of and would answer my questions. Once we paid our wedding in full (5 months early in cash) we began to struggle to get our questions answered. Sandra made so many promises and did not pull through for most of them. At first it felt like this was a perfect match, finding a wedding planner that provided everything in house, unfortunately there is such a thing of its too good to be true. I was very disappointed because I thought that Sandra was a genuine person. The original food vendor we book our food with got changed due to a fallout between Sandra and them. When I asked if we could still use them she said yes but she would not be there for the day off (which makes things complicated as she was the planner). We opted to go with another vendor and I had to cook a portion of the food because this wasn‘t we wanted to serve our guest. Sandra gave us her word that we were going to have a taco guy for the night cap for our guest and us to enjoy. Sandra left our wedding reception early and no taco man showed up. When I asked her staff they had no idea and ordered little Cesar’s pizza instead. As you can imagine I was very frustrated because this was not what we agreed upon. I chose to get my cake done with an outside baker and I was promised that the cake could be dropped off the night before the wedding, when my cake person arrived they told her there was no space ( after I called and literally cried) they made an exception to store the cake. Our ceremony was supposed be done all in the same location as a our reception and a week prior we were given noticed that it would have to me moved due to local carnival and it would be too much noise. So we moved the reception to a local hotel and Sandra assured us we would have a hotel room paid for and that I could get ready there. When we arrived there was no room and I had to pay for it myself. The ceremony was chaotic with the sounds of traffic on the street, the microphone kept cutting off. We paid extra to have a light up low sign at our reception and it was not there. I would not recommend this vendor to anyone, if its sounds to good to be true it probably is. I was so disappointed in their service and lack of follow through. They put a bad taste into a day that should have been perfect.

hame lying to your face selling you lies and fake promises, and cancel services a week prior to the event like no big deal.
As soon as she has all your money she won't answer text, calls, nor emails. And in fact will go off on you accusing you of harassment when you demand answers.
Never delivered the chairs for the reception lie to us and our guest had to carry their chairs from the ceremony to the tables. Never got a refund for the rental chairs she didn't delivered- at that moment the money wasn't the issue it was the unprofessionalism of not coming through for what we paid for. The receipt shows we planned and made a deposit over a year prior to the event, a week before the even she texted my husband saying "she forgot to add the dance floor" unbelievable! We went crazy looking for a dance floor to rent nothing was was available.
All Sandra wants it's your hard earn money with no hesitation will lie to your face. The location in bell gardens is on sale or rent, she's running away people demanding answers and their money back.
Save yourself a disappointment! All I had the day of my wedding was tears and anger due to Sandra and bad business.
When you request a refund, she will try to make you sign a "non disclosure " that way you cannot talk or post your reviews. Sandra will make "appointments" to her own convenience and request payments on every appointment. As soon as you are done paying she won't even bother answering text nor calls.
She feels entitled to cancel "services" anytime and leave you hanging with the event with no remorse on the stress, pain, and tears she cause.
When we first hired her services she quote us $7,000 me and my husband were all in, a few months in after a few thousands of dollars in payments she raised the price to $13,000 due to inflation and some BS, since we had given her almost $7,000 we stupidly agreed in the new amount. Long story short, right before the event (invitations sent, honeymoon booked, out of state family booked trip) she raised the price over $19,000 we had to get the remaining of our savings and give it to her just to have the wedding of our dreams instead a total nightmare.
I believe in karma, besides our hard earned money she took without mercy, the strained moments this cause between me and my husband. The disappointment I gave him for making my husband believe it was a good idea to hired this con artist as the even planner for our wedding.
I have paper trail and proof to back up the scam Sandra is. Text trails of never replying and acknowledging the text. As soon as you done making payments you will receive nothing but excuses she can’t answer cause she’s way too “busy” for you.

cture perfect almost too good to be true services but instead it’s a nightmare. My first meeting went well; she gave me the invoice and promised I would be getting the farm tables and wooden chairs. After I gave my first deposit she gave me a copy of my invoice and it had the wrong name, it had the name Giselle and my name is Genesis also the wrong email, I brought it to her attention right away and she took my copy crossed out the wrong name and wrote the right one and she said later she would fix it on her computer. When I would contact her she would always confuse me with Giselle. I felt she had double booked for the same day. But after that conversation I decided use her Rental services and not her venue. After, I decided not to use her venue, Sandra practically ghosted me. I would call constantly, almost every day to her office leaving messages to her daughters, emailing her and even sent her multiple messages on Instagram and I still wouldn’t hear anything back from her. There was only 3 months left for my wedding date, and she still hadn’t sent me any samples or colors to see what I can use for my wedding date. I had to send her another email saying I was going to take legal actions she called me right away only to talk to me in a condescending way, she told me her services were cheap so I was going to be getting “Wal-Mart customer service”, she was not going to give me a Neiman Marcus experience. She told me I was coming off rude because I wasn’t the only customer she was dealing with. After that conversation I sent her my color scheme and she only gave me 1 option of plate mats to choose from and 3 colors of goblets and napkins. I needed 200 and she told me that was a large amount and that she did not have enough, so basically I would have to figure it out. As for the farm tables and chairs she told me I she would not be able to provide me the amount I needed because they were already booked for her venue, so I would be getting plastic tables and chairs. I was so frustrated that I had gone to Costco to get plastic utensils just in case she let me down. The day before the wedding when they dropped everything off the plate mats, goblets and napkins were all a different shade of pink. The plat mats were dirty I didn’t even use most of them because it was embarrassing. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Do not waste your time or money!

There were so many details and so many people and businesses to reach out to. The Rustic Chic had a list of great preferred vendors which they will organize everything with. All we had to do was select which vendors we wanted and Sandra did all the communicating and planning! It was so easy. The day of, Dillon was our day of coordinator. He did a great job, kept us calm and did everything to make it a smooth night for us and our guest. The venue it’s self was perfect. We had both our ceremony and reception there. It was nice and spacious. It was a long day from 2pm-12am with no issues! Like any other newlyweds, we wish we could back in time to that day. I wouldn’t change a thing! nd it did! Everything about my wedding was beautiful and we all had so much fun!! Dillon was also super helpful and attentive! He always made sure my husband and I were ok. Every time we needed something or had a question he was there to help us and made sure we had fun and no stress at all. Every aspect of planning from flowers to food was so easy because they know how to achieve what you want and make it even better! Even when we had a small hiccup in our whole process they went above and beyond to guide us through the process and we had an absolutely beautiful wedding. This review is coming out 105 days after the wedding we had at The Rustic & Chic Co. because wedding was not ideal and we needed some time to decompress so we could write this review objectively and be as clear and transparent as possible. If you do not want to read this lengthy review, then just understand that this venue kept trying to serve alcohol to the pregnant bride, service was horrible, and in general, we recommend that you stay away from this venue.
Prior to the wedding, we met with Sandra (Owner) on a monthly basis and the venue promptly responded to all of our messages, but once we were all paid up and once the event was done, the customer service became horrible. We had follow-up questions, but our meeting requests were all denied. We were treated much better when we were actively giving money to the venue.
During our monthly planning meetings with Sandra she talked us into paying $1,500 for “Day of service” coordination because she said that SHE would be the person performing this service. We wanted her to run things on the day of the wedding because it would allow us to be less stressed and enjoy our event more also, Sandra is the ONLY person at that wedding that knew the bride was pregnant (other than the groom). Sandra was going to make sure that the bride would NOT be served alcohol so it would not be obvious to the guests.
Unfortunately, Sandra was not the “Day of service” coordinator. We had Dillion and he had no idea what was going on and it went horrible. The wedding day was an organizational disaster. There was no organization or support so the bride, groom, wedding guests and camera crew were running the event. Despite the pregnant bride blatantly telling Dillion that she wanted a specific drink (that doesn’t contain alcohol) Dillon served her multiple alcoholic drinks and it made her feel very uncomfortable. The Rustic & Chic Co. was made aware that the bride was pregnant and that it was a secret from guests, yet Dillion, served the pregnant bride alcohol. So that $1,500 “Day of service” had the opposite effect, it actually caused us more stress.
We paid $800 for “Servers” and they did nothing. They also locked the leftover food in the office and when guests asked them for it, they said there was no food. The staff not only did nothing during the duration of the event, but they were rude to guests.
This venue said yes to everything, prices were amazing, it all sounded too good to be true and unfortunately, it was. We were scammed out of about $1,655 and more importantly, we were not able to enjoy our special day to the fullest.
We were recently contacted by a bride-to-be who was in meetings with The Rustic & Chic Co. This individual made us aware of the following Instagram page (@therusticchic_coscam) which is a page made to bring awareness to potential Rustic & Chic Co. customers of the dishonesty of this company. This individual asked us about our experience with this venue and we told her about everything mentioned above. She thanked us for our honest opinion and she told us that she decided to take her business elsewhere.

Our guest enjoyed dancing on the beautiful dance floor surrounded by greenery . It was a September night we will never forget thanks to the Rustic Chic Team. From the moment we met Sandra she kindly welcomed us and guided us through a process that many of us may fear “Wedding Planning.” However, working with Sandra and her team made this process easy, enjoyable and stress free. She guided us step by step through the process and met our every need with tender love and care. We immediately new that the Farm House was “IT.” It is hidden gem that has all the accommodations needed to make your event memorable. Sandra and her team can provide all the services you may need from decor, venue, catering services, DJ, officiant, party favors, and even a kid friendly section to entertain your little ones. Again, There are not enough words to describe the wonderful experience we had with the Rustic Chic Company. We highly recommend them for any of your future events, especially weddings!

f a wedding. I mean, who does? The place was beautiful and the staff was amazing. The Rustic Chic was the last place I looked before canceling my wedding completely due to Covid. I met with Sandra and I knew we were in good hands. Sandra was very attentive and helpful throughout the entire planning of our wedding. Easy to get a hold of, plenty of options, great prices, beautiful venue and pretty much a one stop shop! They had everything covered. This is a family run company and they made us feel like family also from day one. The day of the wedding, Ashley even let my daughter follow her around while I got ready. Sandra was great with my kids. My son walked me down the aisle and my daughter was the flower girl. Our guests were amazed by the venue and we received so many compliments. A friend of mine loved it so much, she got married there 6 months later. My wedding was perfect and it was all because of Sandra and her team at Rustic Chic. I would definitely recommend them for any events and if I could do my wedding over, I would do it with them in a heartbeat! You won't regret it.
