Who We Are:
The Silver Alchemist is a high-energy wedding and party band based out of Minneapolis, MN. The team is made up of dynamic singers and musicians that have performed or recorded with national artists such as Owl City, Pitbull, Natalie Grant, Caitlyn Smith, Danny Gokey, and many more. Since forming in the fall of 2022, The Silver Alchemist has performed for weddings throughout the Midwest, along with destination locations such as Todos Santos, MX, Jackson Hole, WY, and Bozeman, MT. In 2024, the band was awarded "Best Band" by Minnesota Bride Magazine, "Best of Weddings" by The Knot, and "Couple's Choice Award" by Wedding Wire.
The Reception Band:
Every performance is customizable, with Reception Band packages ranging from 6 to 12 performers. Whatever your style, The Silver Alchemist will have something in their repertoire to suit and are also happy to learn up to three new songs just for you! Their current collection ranges in genre and includes country, folk, rock, jazz, funk, pop, top 40, dance, and more.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! My name is André and I'm the founder of The Silver Alchemist. I have been a part of the music industry as a producer, songwriter, and music director for the past 18 years and continue to perform with incredible Nashville and regional artists. Because of these longstanding connections, I started receiving inquiries from event planners looking to book talent and in the fall of 2021, The Silver Alchemist was formed!

vorite song played on the violin and a Christmas classic played on a violin. They made sure my wedding day was absolutely perfect. The songs and the timing were beyond anything I could’ve imagined and they even played an overhead speech that I had recorded. This made a winter wedding so much more magical and for that I thank everyone- the violinist and the head coordinator Andre, who ensured that everything was lined up how it should be. r group. We knew they would be the perfect entertainment for our special day. Throughout the planning process, they thought of every detail and were able to accommodate our venue’s special requirements. They did this all while preparing to travel to Door County, WI. We opted for a 9 piece band, and they brought the house down. Song after song, the energy was palpable, leading to an epic dance party for 3 hours. We received amazing feedback from guests, but also vendors all of whom said it was one of the best wedding bands they’ve seen.

chemist. From the beginning planning phases, André was super communicative and helpful and answered a bunch of questions from us. The help with the ceremony sound system hook ups was super helpful, and Rob did an amazing job emceeing our reception. We had a few delays during dinner and the band was very flexible. When it was finally time for them to play, they brought an AMAZING energy from the first beat, and the dance floor was packed the rest of the night! It was the most fun few hours of my entire life, and we’ve gotten so many compliments on the band that we’ve lost count! My husband surprised me by coordinating with the band beforehand and I got invited onstage to perform with them (which was my dream - thank you!!). I could tell the band was having fun too, which was awesome. THANK YOU THANK YOU for making our reception something we started reminiscing about the moment we left the venue that night. 11/10 recommend this band!!

I am from Chicago but had a wedding in Wisconsin where the band traveled to so most of my guests had not heard of them. We also had a couple of very particular song requests that they pulled off with aplomb, including accompanying the groom on vocals for one number. All of the band members were excellent musicians, and it was easy to work with André, the bandleader, about the timeline and logistics of the event. Silver Alchemist also provided audio equipment for the wedding ceremony, which had a few unusual requirements (a large amount of vocal microphones and instrument inputs for musical performances during the ceremony), but this was absolutely no problem. They provided a DJ for the afterparty as well, which was very fun, kept people dancing, and proceeded without a hitch.

From the beginning, working with Andre, we reviewed the style of music, song choices, what they offered and vibe of our wedding reception together. Andre worked with us and our budget to put a band together that both met our financial and musical needs. Andre worked with us and our Cantor to put music together for our wedding ceremony, learning new music and working our wedding planner on the ceremony timing. We were impressed with the contract and song offerings as well - very clear, detailed and professional. Andre had amazing communication and we felt down to the last detail, the band know what we were looking for and want music we wanted to hear. Our wedding reception hora, dancing and music was so fun and memorable for us and our guests. We had the best time at our reception and love looking at the photos and videos of us dancing to the band. Andre and the band had a beautiful set up on the stage, with lighting, brought talented singers and musicians. We cannot thank Andre and the band for all the support in planning our wedding but also in making our wedding ceremony and reception unforgettable. In our first meeting we discussed concerns we had with sound and volume, because we had been to a few weddings recently where the band just blew guests away with sound - you know exactly what I'm talking about. The Silver Alchemists understood that and totally nailed it. They rocked and played the venue perfectly. Musically, everyone was great. The Silver Alchemist. And we are so so glad we did. Our family and friends are still talking about them! Aside from being the obvious—being fun, talented and lively musicians—this crew is so so kind and easy going. The moment we saw them on our wedding day, we felt at ease. The MC was offering to fetch our head table drinks, checking in with us throughout the evening on timing, and very communicative. 2000’s, top 40 songs, and college game day hits. The band is incredible at every song but shines for the Top 40’s. The band has also developed a few medleys that perfectly build up the energy on the dance floor and keep it going with no breaks between songs. Our dance floor was packed from start to finish. We have been fortunate to see a lot of great wedding bands in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles, and the Silver Alchemist is in league with the best out there. If you are looking for bands in the Minneapolis area, you must choose this band.

e. The lead singers were mesmerizing and the band can play such a wide array of songs - from Van Morrison to Katy Perry to all the Motown classics. The most amazing thing was that even though there was a wide array of genres and styles, they played all of them so so well. The dance floor was packed the entire night and the band was one of the main things everyone was talking about the next day.
The music was phenomenal -- and the process leading up to the big day also was super smooth. We had a feeling after our first Zoom with Andre that he and the band were true professionals. They were very responsive (and pleasantly persistent when we were less responsive). They worked with us to customize the set list for what we wanted and made everything seamless on wedding day.
I cannot recommend The Silver Alchemist enough! We actually feel quite lucky to have been able to book them a bit early in their tenure -- I have a feeling this band is going to be hard to book in the future as the word gets out. They are that good.
