Dance floor was the perfect size for our guests to dance the night away as the lights of the city started to glow. We were also impressed with the morning staff that looked after the bride and bridesmaids as they got dressed there and had a delicious lunch. They also paid close attention to our table design wishes and additional decor items. All of our other vendors mentioned how much they enjoy working with the staff at the View. We highly recommend this venue for a truly special wedding day.

o ensure every detail was perfect, and that it was. It was more than perfect-more than we could have ever imagined. It exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The venue itself is breathtaking—The View (the name says it all) gave us the most gorgeous background of the city to set the scene for our special day and for guests to enjoy during every part of our day. In addition to being surrounded by glass windows and having the best look at the city, the huge stunning chandelier was what also sold us. It’s such a statement piece and was the focal point of our ceremony-we were married right under it. The ambiance and décor exuded class and elegance. It created the perfect backdrop for our special day, and almost all our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was. Everyone was just “wowed” The team at The View was exceptional. From the initial planning stages to the big day, they were organized, professional, and so genuinely kind. They thought of everything, even the small details we hadn’t considered. Whether it was seamlessly coordinating with vendors, ensuring the timeline ran smoothly, or making sure we were taken care of throughout the day, they made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. An extra special shoutout to Alia. When I first emailed The View, she was who responded and who then walked beside us every step of the way through the process to bring us to our special day. I honestly don’t have words for how amazing she is. Her professionalism, organization-she had every answer for me and often knew what I needed before I did. She was patient, helpful, understanding, and empathetic. She treated our dream day like it was her own with the care she put into everything. Not only that, but she also made the experience easy and FUN!! She made my/our dreams come true and ones that we waited so long for. I’ll never be able to thank her enough! Another shout-out to Julie. She was our day-of coordinator and wow did she run the show flawlessly! She kept everyone in check, helped me with everything and anything I needed, made sure everyone knew where they were supposed to be and what they were supposed to do. She coordinated so many moving parts that day which led to perfection. She was calm, cool, and collected and she made me and everyone else feel that way too. I had no idea how lucky I would be to have her-and to make the day of operations and logistics absolutely perfect. And Garrett, he too, was fantastic. I know there was probably so much more he did that I didn’t even realize but I recognize and appreciate everything that I know he did! We had quite a few dietary restrictions with our guests and bridal parties. He accommodated all those and to my one bridesmaid who is really restricted, I remember looking over during dinner and seeing him kneeling down talking to her on what she could eat-he and the team then prepared her something she not only could eat but also really enjoy! Special thanks to Sara and Hana as well! From the start of the festivities Friday afternoon with the rehearsal, to the day of getting ready with my bridal party, ceremony, reception, to the end of the night and the following days this whole team showed up and delivered! If you’re looking for a venue and team who will truly make your wedding day unforgettable, The View is “the One”. Their dedication, hard work, and service was impeccable. The setup was flawless, food was fabulous, and working with every single person was the most pleasant experience. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, and we’ll forever be grateful for everything they did to make it happen. It truly was the BEST DAY EVER!!

and because of that we felt like we could do more minimal decorations / flowers which helped the budget for sure. Wedding day was perfect, they made it stress free and did everything for us even boxing up all the decor at the end of the night. The food was also amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Julie was our day of coordinator and she couldn't have been more helpful with every..single...detail from steaming the bridal dress to sewing on the groom's vest button to making sure EVERYTHING was perfect. She was exceptional!! The food was outstanding - above and beyond "typical" wedding food and wait staff were so courteous and helpful - and I know that because so many of our guests told us. Many of them told us that this was the best wedding they had ever attended! The WHOLE experience was beyond wonderful!!

Working with the Funky’s team was such an easy process, they help you with all of the details like tablecloths, serve ware, drink packages, table plans, etc. The food is amazing, everything we had at our tasting was so delicious, it was hard to choose what to serve! The attention to detail and service the day of the wedding was incredible. Meagan was the best captain and made sure every single detail was perfect and my husband and I had everything exactly as we wanted it to be. The most amazing thing of all- just four days before our wedding, my husband experienced a medical emergency and was admitted to the ICU. We had to reschedule the wedding with just a day’s notice. Michael, Alia, Meagan, and the rest of the Funky’s team were beyond understanding and supportive of us and made the rescheduling process extremely simple- and without any additional cost. This was obviously an extremely emotional, difficult, and frustrating situation and their whole team supported us and made our wedding day absolutely perfect when it was able to happen, just a couple of weeks later. I cannot recommend The View and Funkys enough. You will not be disappointed.

We have gotten so many compliments regarding the food and beverages. It was an amazing reception, absolutely gorgeous views of downtown and the city. izers and dinner, to the breakfast buffet and charcuterie board while we got ready, was all SPECTACULAR. My guests have said they have never tasted better chicken or beef at a wedding before. And for me, the mini pigs in a blanket, the vegan crab cakes, the waygu beef sliders were to die for. I wish they had a restaurant where I could come order these!!! The staff was also absolutely incredible. I felt a little weary at the start of the planning because with COVID and staff changes, I felt like we were behind and there was some miscommunication, but honestly, everything was executed so perfectly that you would have never known. They do everything for you. Truly, everything (my host even got a little mad at me when I tried to do stuff myself, haha!). Carlene was an amazing and efficient event coordinator, Hannah and Angela are the sales dream team, Mr. Funky and Bobby made sure the food and service the day of were perfection, the service team was friendly and great (though one of the bartenders was kind of rude)… the list just goes on and on. And this all isn’t even acknowledging how gorgeous the actual SPACE is. The chandelier, the windows, the facilities, the bars, the view itself is enough to make anyone feel like they are on top of the world at an A-List event and fall in love with Cincinnati. RUN to reserve this space for your wedding or event. I promise you will not regret it because it is worth every dime.

The night of the wedding, the bars didn't carry my mom's favorite drink so they sent someone out to the store to get it specifically for her (going above and beyond!). The food was just as delicious as our tasting; we still have our family and friends say it was the best food they've ever had! I can't say enough good things!!

One tip: we had both our ceremony and reception at The View. While they can flip the room while keeping everyone in the main space, we had originally rented a tent for the parking lot for the cocktail hour and could not have been happier with this decision (it also gave us an outdoor space for music after dinner). Emily and the rest of the team at Funky's handled all of the arrangements for the tent rental and draping, and it turned out beautifully.

mass. We reached out to The View two and a half months before our date and they made everything happen. We had our tasting, selected our menu, and worked with Hilary and the team to get the room layout planned all with time to spare. We had an hour long call with the team on the Tuesday before our wedding to go through every single detail of the night, down to how we wanted our napkins folded. They did not overlook a single detail. When we arrived on our wedding night, the staff took excellent care of us. Meagan and Ashley were great to work with. The food was all hot and served right on time. They made sure we stuck to our timeline down to the minute. We were especially surprised how quickly they packed up the entire room for us once the evening was over. They had all centerpieces packed and on a cart ready to be loaded into a car. They also loaded my bag into the limo that was taking us home so I didn't have to worry about anything or even lift a finger. The bridal suite was nice to have for bustling my dress and the venue is beautiful and brand new. The Highland Room was the perfect size for our dinner. The bar package is also very generous and offers quite a few craft beer options. Overall, we were so happy with how well Funky's took care of us and would recommend them to anyone.

eduled wedding date, our original venue sent an email cancelling the event due to the pandemic. Since the governor had lifted restaurant restrictions, we were shocked and dismayed by this decision. We began to make phone calls trying to make alternative arrangements, after numerous "no's" Michael Forgus' "I think we can do this" was a welcome relief. After meeting with Hilary and the rest of Funky's Catering staff, I believed them when they said, "We got this." My daughter's entire wedding day was made perfect thanks to The View. They thought of everything: a lunch for the bridesmaids, cocktails and appetizers waiting for the bridal party upon arrival at the venue, and facility...Not only is the view spectacular, the space is gorgeous from the polished wood floor to the crystal chandelier. The food was incredible. The guests complimented all of the appetizers debating which tasted the best, and the actual meal (Filet and sea bass duet) was delectable served hot to every table. The staff could not have been more accommodating or welcoming. Everyone treated us as if we were the most important person on earth. I really can't imagine a more perfect place to celebrate a wedding.

All of the staff made sure that everything was set up to exactly what I wanted and the ceremony/reception both ran smoothly. I dealt with multiple different people throughout the planning process but Brittany Myers was amazing to work with. I was needy at times but she never made me feel like I was bothersome to her and always got back to me right away with the changes that I requested which for my personality is more than appreciated.
