FaceTime! Our venue required a Day of Coordinator, but we would honestly recommend hiring Karli even if your venue doesn't require a coordinator! She was always accessible and answered all of our questions. She was a tremendous help throughout the planning process and during the wedding!

ndor recommendations. She gave me plenty of recommendations, checklists, and was able to answer any questions I had along the way. I really do not know what I would have done without Karli. Not only was she helping me along the way, I had to postpone by wedding from May 8, 2020 to January 29, 2021 due to covid and she was so kind and understanding. The Wedding Authority did not give me any problems about rescheduling and really were just overall professional. Karli even had her husband help out and pick up and drop off my dog so she could be in the ceremony and for pictures when my original plan fell through. I did not have to lift a finger on my wedding day. It was so beautiful and everything ran so smoothly. We also had Rev. Bill Young officiate our wedding ceremony and he did such a great job as well. He is so warm hearted and kind. Every experience I had with the Wedding Authority was a positive one. With all the stress of wedding planning during a pandemic, it was really wonderful to have someone confirm and go over timelines with vendors so I could focus on little details and arrangements. I would highly recommend them!

She took a lot of care in following up with every single detail and question that we had and some of them I forgot along the way, but she always remembered to follow-up. She sent checklists and follow-ups at appropriate and helpful times and never ONCE made us feel rushed or uncomfortable during the process. I know she juggles a lot of tasks and we never could tell since she always had 100% focus on us when we were with her during the planning process and wedding day. She was always pleasant and patient, but over all an absolute joy to work with. If you are looking for someone who will make you wedding planning process a joy, you will not be disappointed with the Wedding Authority. This is especially important during the uncertain times that we are in. They are down to earth and genuinely love what they do! You will have selected the best!!

I was never stressed the day of, Karli had it completely under control, I was able to just relax and enjoy our dream wedding. Bill was the perfect officiant! The first time we meet with him we felt like we knew him for years, he worked with us to tailor the ceremony just for us and it was wonderful, and Carla was just the cherry on top. So blessed to have worked with the Wedding Authority!

joying the day. The vases I bought for centerpieces didn’t hold the bouquets. She somehow got us new larger vases between the time the flowers arrived and she saw the problem and the time the reception began. She saved our decor and I had no idea for the majority of the night. They matched perfectly. I’m so thankful to her and her team. Everything went off without a hitch, because of her. Also, after we arrived at the church, we realized we forgot our flower girl baskets at the Treasury and there was no time to go back. The girls weren’t going to have them to walk down the aisle. Karlie somehow magically got them to the ceremony in time. The whole day and planning process were perfect because of her. If you’re looking for a planner / coordinator I can’t recommend her enough.

in disguise. For those that are not traveling for their wedding day, I would say for the day of you should seriously consider having a planner. Myself nor my family had to worry about any of the setup the day of and it was a huge stress reliever. When choosing which wedding planner, online reviews were the driving force. After selecting The Wedding Authority, Ashley started working with me right away. She asked for ideas of what I wanted and provided several vendors to contact. We kept in touch via email mainly and she was very prompt in responding to my emails and finding out answers to questions that I had for specific vendors. Ashley was wonderful to work with from start to finish. The few weeks prior to the wedding was crunch time and Carla also stepped in to give a hand. For the day of I provided Ashley with a list and some images of how I would like for things to look in the church and reception hall and everything came out just as I pictured it. Ashley and Carla were great! I highly recommend The Wedding Authority.

threw her a huge curve by having the wrong size of vase for some of the centerpieces. I don’t know how she did it but she found vases that worked beautifully! So many people have told me that it was the perfect wedding! Thanks to Karli it was for all of us!

The wedding authority made sure our vision came to life and we were beyond lucky to have their help with our wedding. Carla, the owner is such a sweet soul who has been in the industry for a very long time and her expertise shines through in the work Karli and Ashley did for us.

n't planning because of our budget , however I'm glad we did. Ashley is great coordinator she kept on contact about once a month to make sure all the planning was going good. She recommended many vendors some that I actually ended up booking and even set up meetings for me with the florist and baker. The wedding day she had everything set up the venue they way I wanted and make sure everything ran smoothly. I even had some of the guest comment on how well organized the wedding was.

ts at 6:30pm. It was a dream. Having an out of town wedding was work but it couldn’t have been pulled off so flawlessly without the help of Christina. She was a necessity. We met periodically with Christina, off and on starting at about a year out of our wedding date. She was a reference when we needed suggestions for different vendors. She sat with us during our cake taste testing. She made a time line for us for the rehearsal and day of. We dropped off all the stuff we had for decorations and party favors with her about 2 weeks out. At that time, we sat down and went over everything to a T. Carla and Christina walked us through our rehearsal. It was very apparent that they knew what they were doing. They do hundreds of weddings a year. The day before and day of the wedding Christina communicated with the Limo service when I needed to add more time. She communicated with the DJ. She picked up our flowers for us and brought them to the Airbnb where we were staying. She even put all our party favors together. She saved us so much stress and worry. She was our go-to for everything. I did not see the reception venue decorated until we walked in after the wedding and it was beautiful. After the reception, I asked her what we needed to do to clean up, and she said nothing. She loaded up all the extra food, cake, all our decorations, flowers, guestbook, glasses, etc. and drove them to the Airbnb for us… while we preceded to go downtown and continue the celebration. By the end of the whole wedding process, Christina felt more like a friend than a coordinator. She took much pride in making our day special, and for that we are very grateful.

company needs to work on. The Wedding Authority was great until the actual day of my wedding, they created my vision exactly to what I wanted. They were very responsive with emails, were very attentive and gave great advice and opinions (all before the wedding). Also, you can tell they are very experienced in this industry and that is always a plus. I got married at the Treasury on the Plaza and my wedding was amazing and beautiful, but the Wedding Authority made me very upset at the end of the night. They made me feel that my family was drinking too much and acting a certain way. It's a wedding, everyone is having a good time, especially when it's an open bar.... My dad at the end of the night was having a good time, and the coordinator was getting upset with him because he wasn't "leaving" the treasury. The coordinator ended up getting me involved because she couldn't handle this part of her job. I do not think the bride should be dealing with something like this on her wedding day. My dad paid a lot of money, time and effort into this wedding, and this company as well. Not great customer service in my eyes. We felt very rushed out, and felt they just wanted to get the night over with. What is very upsetting is after the wedding The Wedding Authority never reached out, never asked how anything was, or even congratulated me, not even one email. This is the part this company can definitely work on, if they want to build relationships with clients. It makes me feel like I was just another bride and just another wedding they had to coordinate. My overall experience with this company was good, but I would say they definitely have some work to do when it comes to the day of the wedding.

The wedding consultant also seemed to be absent when our mother-in-law was in need of assistance planning our wedding. At a cost of more than $2000 I would expect a little more service. It is my impression that she was just concerned with selling us the most expensive services that she could get away with. It was a horrible experience working with our wedding consultant, one that nearly ruined our experience with our wedding. If it were not for all of our hard work, and especially the hard work of my mother-in-law, our wedding would have been nothing but a nightmare.

nd we couldn't wait to have him marry us. When everywhere was falling short of what I was looking for to outfit our groomsmen, Carla fell from heaven. She was exactly what I needed! While all of our groomsmen were out of town, Carla fit my groom, and both of our fathers. She gave great directions on how to get everyone else measured. She even drove to my house to deliver a custom alteration for my husband. Coogan was so helpful in making sure everything was order with all of the groomsmen. Carla pulled suit after suit, and every fabric sample and swatch under the sun to make sure we got it perfect. From pick up two days early due to having our wedding the day after Thanksgiving, to dropping them off after the wedding, The Wedding Authority was perfect. Bill and Carla are a wonderful couple to work with, and reminded me why this town is so perfect.

I choose from their list and all of them were professional and outstanding in what they were able to do for my reception. I am a type A, organized to the T, not easy going bride and they were nothing but smiles and helpful when they would work with me. I wish I could get married again so they could organize another event for me!

She was very responsive and available to answer even our dumbest questions. However, I think the biggest testimony I could give is that the day of our wedding, everything was in place, everything was beautiful, we had no little chores to do, and absolutely nothing went wrong; even down to the weather, Dawn had it on lock down! From a different perspective, all of the vendors we went with seemed very familiar with Dawn and really respected her. They seemed a little calmer knowing that she was running the show.

I could have ever hoped for. Dawn was sure to capture every detail leading up to the big day and made every, minor detail perfect on the day of. I am positive Dawn did way more behind the scenes than I could have ever imagined. For instance, the lighting I had bought for the table settings as the reception did not end up working and she had a back up plan and was able to get it all together without me even knowing until after the wedding (and it looked absolutely phenomenal). She was a very valuable asset to our wedding day as she helped decorate, get everyone where they needed to be (on time), and made sure that my family and I were completely stress free on wedding day. If she can coordinate a wedding in St. Augustine while the 450th Anniversary of St. Augustine was going on in the background, I am positive she could coordinate anyone's wedding. Dawn is worth any value! She even had an emergency tide-to-go pen when I spilled on my dress AND an emergency sewing kit when my bustle broke. She is incredible and we highly recommend her to any bride and groom!!

She had a back up plan for rain, kept my groomsmen in line, and even made sure my flowers showed up at the right place (after I told them to go somewhere else). riginally planned to do the wedding ourselves without a planner but in hindsight that would have been so stressful and would have impaired my memories of that day! We had a destination wedding, so having someone there on the ground stopped me from losing my mind! Dawn knew all of the vendors in the area and recommended the ones she thought best fit what I told her I was seeking. The load of pressure that she absorbed for us on the day made every penny we spent worth it! It took her a bit to get used to our "get it done now" attitude (we were finalizing details 8 months before the wedding) so at first she was a bit slow in responding to emails, but she adjusted quickly once we spoke with her about it and it was smooth sailing from there! We will forever love Dawn for all her help.

edding was a “destination wedding” as I live in Cocoa Beach and my family is all in Atlanta, so it was very difficult for us to plan and handle things from there. Dawn’s attention to all the details gave us the fairytale wedding we had dreamed of!! No detail was too small for her to handle. (I had a lemonade stand for guests as they came in, and she even took care of making sure that was all set up.) She was there throughout the reception until the last guest had left – handling everything from helping to seat the guests all the way through – even making sure our horse and carriage was on time for us to leave. Using the Wedding Authority as our planning service allowed my husband and I and our parents to have a stress free day. My mother was able to spend the day with me, never once having to worry about or handle any of the details. Dawn was with me throughout the entire wedding process and I can honestly say I don't know what I would have done without her. I truly believe that she was as excited about our wedding as we were!
