The Wenbeck at Little Bear Venue was a DREAM wedding venue! It exceeded all of our expectations. Skyler, the Director of Sales was there to help us every step of the way. She was present for all of our venue meetings, the rehearsal, and responded right away for any and all additional wedding related questions. The venue itself was absolutely stunning. We were married on July 27, 2024 and The Wenbeck at Little Bear was perfect! From the moment I met Skyler I knew we were in good hands! Our guests could not stop raving about the beautiful venue, from the pavilion for the ceremony to the reception hall. And the putt putt course during our cocktail hour was such a great addition! The Bridal Suite is spacious and allowed us to have a comfortable space for our pre-wedding prep. We recently had our wedding at The Wenbeck at Little Bear, and we cannot say enough great things about both the venue and our experience working with Skyler! From the very beginning, Skyler was nothing short of amazing. Not only were we impressed, but our guests and family members couldn't stop raving about her professionalism, warm personality, and how easy she made the entire process for us. If you want the most stress free wedding The Wenbeck is the way to go. From the moment I met Skyler and John I had no doubt that we would be getting married there. Both of them are so easy to communicate with, amazing humans who truly want you to have the best day ever. From picking vendors to day of movements and transitions, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Things got done before I even had time to think about them and I truly was at ease with trusting them. Skyler is so organized with the small details of the day that she was asking me about things I didn’t know I had to think about. And she always had the answer. During the rehearsal she organized us with ease and made the rehearsal fly by and the wedding go so smoothly. Between the final walk through and the rehearsal she just brought so much calm to a time that was so hectic and I won’t ever be able to thank her enough. Skyler and John both care so much not only about your event but about you as a person, and that was incredibly different than a lot of other venues we toured. I truly cannot say enough good things about this venue and Skyler and John. And if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Skyler and her husband went above and beyond for our wedding. They were with us every step of the way! I would recommend there venue to anyone. They were so flexible with having two different caterers! Their venue is gorgeous and they are still trying to make it even better! Love love love them!!

Skyler & John were a HUGE part of why our wedding day was perfect! They were there to support us in anyway we needed... answering emails quickly, walking us through the venue a few times, ensuring the vendors & timeline were on schedule. John took us on a golf cart later in the evening for incredible sunset pictures. We are SO happy we picked this beautiful venue and staff!! We would pick The Wenbeck again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I got married this past weekend at The Wenbeck and there aren't enough words to describe how incredibly thrilled we are with our experience! Skyler and John, the owners/coordinators, are PHENOMENAL and we have absolutely adored working with them. From the moment we toured, we were impressed with not only how immaculate the grounds were kept but also with how organized they were and how valued we felt. At no point during our planning process did we ever feel like "just another couple" to them. We felt like old friends from the moment we entered! It didn’t matter what time of day we reached out with questions, they were there for us no matter what, always willing to help. They are so passionate about what they do and you’ll feel it the moment you meet them! We looked at a total of - wait for it - fourteen (!!) different venues in the Columbus area and as soon as we met with them, the choice was obvious. Skyler and John are so authentic and genuine and went above and beyond to make our day everything we had hoped for, and then some! We absolutely cannot recommend this team and their property enough. Our guests LOVED the venue; we had so many people come up to us all night saying how gorgeous it was (the sunsets there are incredible!), and they loved getting to play mini golf during our cocktail hour! We will truly miss working with Skyler and John and thank them a million times over for helping us create the day of our dreams. We would choose this venue over and over again! Truly the best venue we could have chosen for our special day. Skyler made sure all our questions were answered and never made us feel like we were an inconvenience. She always responded within the day if not the next. Her and John both made our rehearsal and wedding day go exactly how we wanted to and were the biggest help! Couldn’t recommend them enough!

This is going to be long but stick with me – you will thank me! There are truly not enough words to describe how amazing Skyler and John are at The Wenbeck and how choosing this venue was the best decision we made during wedding planning. When we first went to The Wenbeck, we were instantly impressed with how beautiful it was, both inside and out. When we sat down to talk specifics, Skyler was organized, knowledgeable and so incredibly transparent. The conversation felt like sitting down with a friend who was showing you the ropes and not like we were being pitched an offer from a salesman. She was able to answer every question we had and knew down to the penny exactly what each cost was for and what the money covered. We had left other appointments questioning where the numbers came from on our quotes or questioning what the ambiguous fees added at the bottom went towards. There was none of that here. They offer SO much and their pricing is more than fair. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. There is not a blade of grass out of place and the pavilion is the most gorgeous building you will find. It is clean, simple and the glass walls make you feel like you are outside even if you have to be inside. The ballroom is updated and pristine. The views are endless! You could not put a single piece of décor in there and it would still be beautiful. Their bar package is absolutely unbeatable, and people were thrilled with what we had at the wedding. We heard over and over how impressed people were with the vast number of choices offered both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We opted for their top package and the price was less than most places beer and wine only packages. We chose the upgraded chairs because they have the most beautiful, well maintained chivari chairs that look like they have never been sat in that we knew we had to have. We had the option to open up the putting course during our cocktail hour and knew we had to do it. Everything was customizable to what we wanted. We wanted to extend the reception a bit later and start cocktail hour a bit earlier and they did that for us without hesitation and the price was more than fiar. On the day of the wedding their entire staff were professional, prompt, courteous and were just extensions of Skyler and John. You can tell that they all are vested in what they do in the way that you don’t often see. Unfortunately, we were met with an immense number of bumps in the road during our wedding planning process and Skyler and John were always right there ready to jump in and help wherever and however they could. They both are so knowledgeable about the wedding industry as a whole and provided us with so much advice and support way beyond what would be expected of the venue coordination team. I truthfully don’t know what we would have done without them. This is what really sets The Wenbeck apart from other venues. They treat you like family and they genuinely want you to have the best wedding possible. Skyler felt more like a matron of honor than a venue coordinator to me throughout the process, and there’s just no way to really explain how valuable that was to my husband and I. You absolutely will not find any venue better than The Wenbeck. The value, attention to detail, commitment to you as the client, beauty of the venue and blessing that Skyler and John are unmatched. This place has a heart, and you will see it and feel it from the moment you walk through the door.

Skyler was wonderful to work with! She was extremely responsive, helpful, and attentive. She provided us with guidance as we made decisions about our wedding and was flexible with our needs. Skyler & John were a huge help in making the day go smoothly and were available for any questions or needs leading up to the wedding day. Skyler was able to offer her perspective when we had questions about layout, ceremony, decor, etc. from her experience with managing weddings and working with vendors at the venue. The venue itself is well maintained and offers both indoor/outdoor space. We chose it, in part, because of the dual spaces for a ceremony (enclosed/partially open pavilion or outdoor patio in front of the lake) not knowing what to expect for April weather. Having these options was great, especially as we were navigating last-minute decisions for the ceremony with predictions of heavy wind. Our guests also really enjoyed spending time on the outdoor patio wrapping around the reception space for cocktail hour. Overall, the day went great and was so smooth. Skyler/John and their management of the Wenbeck exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend the venue and working with them!

This venue is such a gem! Well worth an in-person site visit if you're in the Columbus area... words and photos just don't do it justice! There's a waterfront outdoor ceremony space—with, hands down, THE best rain plan I've ever seen. (No "California style" shenanigans happening here!) The indoor reception space has floor-to-ceiling windows with tons of great natural light, and it overlooks the ceremony space and the on-site golf course (which guests are allowed to use for an added fee!) Most importantly, Skyler and her team at the Wenbeck at Little Bear are amazing to work with. They're professional, knowledgable, passionate, and down-to-earth. And I love that it's a small family-owned and -operated event space!

Working as a wedding photographer (AZAR Photography) at The Wenbeck at Little Bear was an absolute delight. From a professional standpoint, this venue offers an abundance of picturesque scenes and seamless logistics, making it an ideal location to capture timeless memories. First and foremost, having everything in one location simplified the entire process, not just for the couple but also for vendors like myself. Eliminating the need for multiple travel stops meant we could focus solely on our craft, ensuring that every moment was expertly captured without interruption. The natural beauty of The Wenbeck's setting is unparalleled. Situated within a sprawling golf course, the venue boasts breathtaking sunset views that provide a stunning backdrop for wedding photography. The ceremony spot by the pond is particularly enchanting, offering a serene ambiance that lends itself perfectly to romantic shots. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided by The Wenbeck. The covered ceremony spot is a photographer's dream, offering both shelter and stunning natural light for capturing those intimate moments. The expansive windows in the reception hall not only provide breathtaking sunset views but also flood the space with warm, ambient light, creating a beautiful atmosphere for photography. One of the highlights for me was the newly built mini-golf area, which provided a fun and unique backdrop for creative photoshoots. The playful atmosphere and charming aesthetics added an extra dimension to the wedding album, capturing moments of joy and laughter that will be cherished for years to come. The Wenbeck went above and beyond for our wedding! Their team was very professional and attentive to detail. They are very clear and upfront about prices, services, and expectations. Their venue is STUNNING! Our guests could not express enough what a wonderful location it is for a wedding. Their all season pavilion make this the perfect location year round! I can promise you that there are no words to describe how incredible The Wenbeck’s team and staff are when it comes to planning your wedding. Future brides and grooms- look no further. From the very moment we stepped foot on the venue for a tour, we were greeted with warmth, kindness, excitement, and such professionalism. Skyler and John are a perfect couple to work with, I feel like I have become friends with them over the last year that I planned my wedding. They are responsive, they are adaptive, they offer advice, they offer creativity, and they will go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. A prime example is the fact that John and Skyler welcomed their first baby 3 weeks prior to my wedding, and they never missed a beat. I swear these two people are super heroes. The venue at The Wenbeck is SPECTACULAR. It’s gorgeous, spacious, and has everything you need. We had so many compliments on how gorgeous our venue was and how incredible and helpful the staff was at the Wenbeck. The venue is very accessible, it’s in a great location, there is plenty of parking, and has prime views of a gorgeous sunset view. When booking our venue, we were sold on how awesome Skyler and John were. We knew that booking with them meant we were getting top tier communication and great service. We were not wrong. They are the sole reason I felt so calm and collected the week leading up to my wedding, and during my reception. I feel like I could write a novel on these two and their wonderful business. Brides: book your venue here. You will not be disappointed.

I have so many good things to say about Skyler, John, and The Wenbeck at Little Bear Golf Club! My husband and I were considering having our wedding here but had a very short engagement (about 3 months). Skyler answered all of our questions and was so communicative and efficient. My mom and I enjoyed the detailed walkthrough we had at the venue and Skyler’s personability and attention to detail helped us feel confident about our choice. The venue is accessible for guests who aren’t as mobile (elevator and golf carts for transporting people to and from the pavilion) and the climate controlled pavilion made it a perfect fit (we had an afternoon shower that we didn’t have to worry about). We and our guests loved getting to play mini golf during the cocktail hour. Additionally, the second-floor reception hall has a wonderful balcony for guests to get away from the noise and enjoy the west/sunset-facing view. This venue also has a large kitchen and reception hall to comfortably accommodate 180 guests (we had about 175). Not to mention, they have a NICE sized dance floor! For looks and photos, this venue delivered! We were fortunate enough to have a gorgeous sunset and many paces for wonderful photo opportunities. The getting ready rooms were also perfect to accommodate over 8 people each. So many of our guests had wonderful things to say about this gem of a venue that’s tucked away in Lewis Center!

I highly recommend The Wenbeck for your wedding ceremony and reception. We hosted our daughter’s wedding this July and it was lovely! The ceremony was held in the open-air pavilion overlooking the lake and golf course which made for great pictures. The reception was held in the beautiful upstairs ballroom with an outdoor terrace. Everything was set up as requested and looked amazing. They even helped our older guests get in and out of the parking lot with an employee-driven golf cart. The owners/ managers, Skyler and her husband John, were wonderful to work with and helped us through several vendor and décor decisions, but most importantly helped with the flow of events for both the rehearsal and wedding day. We hosted a fun and casual rehearsal dinner at the bar and grille on-site, while also playing putt-putt. We had a ton of fun!

Skyler and John, the venue owners/managers, were SO amazing. They were very communicative and easy to work with, and they made the wedding venue portion of planning so easy! I was able to tour the venue multiple times, they were so helpful and informative, and really helped calm my nerves and anxiety answering what must've been a hundred questions. The venue itself is exactly what we were looking for - the outdoor ceremony area overlooks the water and even has an outdoor open air pavilion as a rain/weather option. We ended up holding our wedding underneath the pavilion with all the doors open, the cross-breeze made the 90+ degree heat feel like a perfect 75 degree day. The inside reception space held our 128 comfortably, and the ceilings are high enough for the chair lifting in the hora (if anyone is curious). In addition to the buffet tables, we even had room for additional tables in the reception space for desserts, cards/gifts, etc. The lobby is also absolutely gorgeous with the stone fireplace and double doors. The sun sets over the large patio connected to the reception hall, creating perfect golden hour lighting both outside and in the reception hall. The outdoor area provides great background for pictures, and everything is so clean and pristine that we didn't want extra outdoor ceremony decorations to take away from the landscape and scenery. There is even a putting course we were able to rent out during cocktail hour, a unique experience that many of our guests loved! 10/10 and 100% recommend the location and the owners - we'd love to work with them again and host an event there in the future!!

We, along with the groom’s parents, fell in love with the location, the ability to have an outdoor or an indoor ceremony, and the well-maintained golf course grounds created a stunning backdrop for photos and video. The venue is so gorgeous! It was the first and only venue we looked at. It was important to us to find a venue that allowed outside caterers and Little Bear did! Skyler is incredible, and I had some family members that had trouble walking to they drove them around on the golf cart. And they respond to emails so rapidly! I highly recommend choosing this venue!

The Wenbeck was a great space for our fall wedding of about 85 guests! We picked this venue mainly because it gave us choice with our catering company (they provide the bar packages and setup so keep that in mind if you'd rather be able to BYOB for your wedding). My fiancé and I had to plan our wedding from afar since we lived out of state, but Skyler was super responsive with my questions and very understanding with our changes during the wedding planning process. We had a chair mishap with another vendor the night before, but luckily, Skyler was able to help us resolve it quickly and was able to help us make some last-minutes accommodations. Additionally, she was friendly and gracious throughout the entire process, which made wedding planning a lot less stressful. The space provided a lot of flexibility and convenience; we wanted to have our ceremony and reception at the same place so our guests wouldn't have to do too much driving. Since it was slightly on the chilly side on our wedding day, the ceremony pavilion was perfect for us, but if it had been warmer, having the ceremony right in front of the water would have been an option, too. We did take our photos there and the water was a beautiful backdrop! Our guests enjoyed the balcony space and putt-putt during our cocktail hour. The reception space was the perfect size for our guest count. The bridal suite was great for us to get ready in and had multiple ways of getting in and out to avoid being seen before the ceremony! We used Sheraton as our hotel for our guests, which was about 10 minutes away from the venue, but there were also a decent number of Airbnbs near the area that you could rent as well. Overall, I highly recommend this as a wedding venue!

The owners are very sweet and made the process sooooo easy for us the entire time! They are also so personable and flexible with any requests or questions you have for them! Wenbeck at Little Bear was an amazing place for my daughter’s engagement ceremony followed by party. The price is very affordable, but the location and view seems like it should be worth a lot more. The photo opportunities are plentiful to get amazing shots with a lot of different backgrounds. John and Skyler (venue managers) were great to work with and very quick to respond. All and all, my husband and I were very happy with this venue and we recommend it to all of our friends for their future events!

We could not be happier with our experience at The Wenbeck. We received countless compliments on this gorgeous venue. The brand-new pavilion is amazing and beautiful, as well as the ceremony space directly in front of the water. More importantly, Skyler and John were incredible to work with. Skyler is extremely knowledgable about the wedding planning process and made it a seamless experience. As a bride, I felt zero stress. They did an amazing job of shielding me from little fires that popped up throughout the day. I wish I could give more than five stars!

I really wish I could give the Wenbeck more stars! Skyler was so, so helpful with the entire process, and as a bride we all know how stressful wedding planning can be. I remember the first moment walking in to the venue and knowing immediately that this was the one! Not only is the space very beautiful inside, the outdoor facilities were very gorgeous too. There is so much parking and it’s such an easy facility to navigate so your guests will be able to come and go with ease. The bridal suite was my favorite part, the decorations in the space really made you feel like a queen. Skyler and her fiancé were so helpful with our needs and wishes to make our special day very memorable, and I couldn’t thank them enough!

I can’t begin to say enough good things about this venue. With the coronavirus pandemic; the venue we planned for decided to close their doors permanently leaving my husband and I to try to find another venue in a month and half time before our wedding. I decided to get on the knot and found Wenbeck at Little Bear. I emailed Skyler and she got back to me very promptly and was very professional and gave me so many details about the venue that any bride would love to have. She was very patient and kind. She got us in the next day to tour the venue. Skyler and her fiancé John showed us around the venue and was pleased to answer our questions and made us feel very comfortable. They were upfront with us about all of our options and prices of everything and what the venue was working on updating the venue. We decided to have our wedding ceremony outside on the golf course! Up until the wedding ceremony; Skyler kept me updated on everything and continued to answer any questions I had a long the way. Working with them, was such a great experience; was easy and I was relaxed and didn’t worry about anything. Also, to add; we just did the ceremony there and it included getting ready in their beautiful bridal suite. It is decorated so nice and it was spacious and my bridesmaids and I enjoyed our time getting ready in there. On wedding day; Skyler and John were so helpful and were so accommodating and helped out when they could. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding ceremony and reception!!
