Skyler and John at the Wenbeck made our wedding day the best day ever. Their attention to detail, kindness, and hospitality are the reason our wedding planning was actually an enjoyable experience. We relied on them for countless things and they came through every single time. We had a ~200 person wedding at the Wenbeck and it was the picture perfect venue for our special day. They made our families, especially grandparents and other dearly loved ones feel special and cared for. We highly highly highly recommend the wenbeck for anyone’s wedding or other important life events.

We truly had the best experience at the Wenbeck. Skyler, John and Sydney (and the rest of the support staff) were so attentive throughout the whole process. They listened to what we wanted and helped our vision come to life for our wedding! It ended up raining last minute and we had to move our ceremony indoors and it was like nothing even happened! Everyone was calm and collected. The space is also beautiful!
Syndey even signed our advice book and it was such a cute touch to read the next day.

The Wenbeck is a waterfront wedding venue located in Lewis Center, OH. Set amidst the grounds of Little Bear Golf Club, this picturesque venue is conveniently located close to the Polaris Fashion Shopping District and hotels.
The Wenbeck is home to a modern and refined event space made for marking life's milestone moments. You can begin your day in plush get-ready suite, affording you and your wedding party the chance to pamper and beautify in comfortable and stylish surroundings. The entrance area is lofty and bright, with high ceilings and an ornate stone fireplace to set the tone for sophisticated celebrations. You can say "I do" in the elegantly appointed pavilion, complete with heating, lighting, ceiling fans, and retractable glass doors. The Pavillion overlooks a 3,000-square-foot patio that oversees one of three ponds on the grounds of this estate. The Wenbeck's Ballroom is transformed for evening receptions of up to 200 friends and family members. It boasts a spacious dance floor and a large projection screen that can be incorporated for speeches and entertainment. You can combine the pavilion and indoor ballroom for your special day, with dancing taking place under the stars by the waterfront.

redible. They are some of the most professional, passionate, kind, and genuinely caring people I have ever worked with. You can tell how much they love what they do, and that showed in every single detail of our experience.
The venue itself was BEAUTIFUL. Every space was stunning, everything came together perfectly, and we received so many compliments from our guests. Skyler and John were there for us throughout the entire planning process, always willing to answer questions, offer suggestions, help us work through details, and make sure we felt completely taken care of. On our wedding day, I was able to truly enjoy every moment because I knew we were in such great hands.
One of our absolute favorite parts was being able to have the golf course available during cocktail hour. Our friends and family had SO much fun golfing, and so many people told us it was one of the best cocktail hours they had ever been to! It made the experience so unique and gave our guests something fun and memorable to enjoy while we took photos.
There are so many decisions that go into planning a wedding, but choosing The Wenbeck was easily one of the best decisions we made. They didn’t just provide us with a beautiful venue. They helped create an experience that we, our families, and our friends will remember forever.
I would recommend The Wenbeck to absolutely anyone looking for a wedding venue. The property is gorgeous, the experience is incredible, and the people behind it are even better. our amazing event specialist, Alexis, and the rest of the team, we truly could not have asked for a better group of people.
They answered every question we had (I especially had a lot!), were always quick to respond, and were more than accommodating to anything we wanted for our wedding day. They made the entire planning process so easy and stress-free, and we always felt like they genuinely cared about us and wanted our day to be perfect.
By the end of it all, they didn’t feel like just the staff at our venue, they felt like family.
It’s honestly bittersweet that it’s all over because we’re going to miss seeing them. If you’re looking for a wedding venue with the most beautiful setting and the most incredible people, the Wenbeck is it. We are forever grateful for everything they did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect.

The venue was absolutely beautiful and created the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. Our ceremony in the outdoor pavilion was everything we imagined — it was such a beautiful and meaningful space to say our vows. The reception space was the perfect place for our guests to celebrate, enjoy dinner, and dance the night away. Every detail of the venue helped bring our vision to life and created the exact atmosphere we were hoping for.
Skyler, John, and their entire team made our experience so wonderful from start to finish. They were incredibly helpful, kind, organized, and supportive throughout the entire process. Wedding planning comes with so many moving pieces, but having a team that truly cared about making our day special made such a difference. They helped everything run smoothly and allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day.

tion to detail did not go unnoticed by me or my guests. Alexis and Skyler especially went above and beyond time and time again. This included executing a HUGE surprise (BRUTUS) and completely recreating my welcome mirror that shattered before the ceremony without me knowing (yes Alexis I know now). They took everything they could off my plate and I had the most relaxing morning ever with my bridesmaids followed by the most gorgeous ceremony and fun reception. It didn’t just feel like some venue ran by random people. It felt like we were in the place we were meant to be and that the staff were more like our best friends (who also know how to run a wedding g extremely smoothly). we met Alexis and the rest of The Wenbeck Team. The venue is stunning, but the most special part is the care and kindness of the amazing team. From the beautiful venue to the additional details and offerings they have (the put put course was a huge hit for our cocktail hour) you can tell they truly care about making the day a cut above the rest. Every one cannot stop commenting on how beautiful our venue is and what a wonderful staff they had. Skyler and her team were beyond lovely everytime we reached out with questions or concerns, and they took care of us and truly made us feel like part of the family. We had an incredibly tough loss about a month before our wedding and Skyler and Alexis were beyond accommodating and helpful as we were planning a funeral and a wedding at the same time. For this kindness, we will never be able to truly thank them for.
Our wedding day was absolutely magical and issues or problems that came up were handled by the team swifty and without letting us know so we could truly be present and soak in all the love. Not to mention their bartenders were so fun and kept the party going out in the lobby! We had the best time planning with them and the care they showed us was unlike anything I ever expected from our wedding venue, honestly we are a little sad it is all over and we dont have excuse to hang out with them all again. We cannot recommend The Wenbeck enough for your special day, with Skyler, Alexis, and the entire team, your day is in the best of hands.

didn’t cooperate. Skyler was easy to work with. She was always willing to work with our desired needs/wants from the initial walkthrough through the wedding day. She took care of any conflicting offers from other vendors and made sure everything would be set up as we envisioned.
The day of the wedding was flawless. She, and her husband, John, made sure we and our guests were chauffeured around the property for all the picture settings we desired.
We included the golf and putt-putt package which was not necessary, but added a unique experience for our guests who really enjoyed the activities.
Thank you Skyler, John, and the rest of the team. You made our day smooth and comforting and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of venue!

E to work with. They were incredibly trustworthy and on top of things but also very personable. They were clear and upfront with pricing and policies and really want the best for their couples. The whole facility is stunning and you can get away with minimal decoration if that is the route you would like to take. One thing I found comfort in was the pavilion being a weather contingency space. Its a really nice space that doesn’t look like a backup, but more of just an indoor option.
Our guests LOVED the putt-putt and we were glad we chose to opt in for the full reception addition.
When we looked for venues, we were hoping to find a place that allowed you to work with outside vendors and aside from their preferred vendor list for catering (which still includes a good variety of food and budget options), we were able to do to this! This allowed us to stay within our budget and still have a wedding at such a beautiful facility.
We are so glad we chose the Wenbeck and would choose it again and again.

Wenbeck. From our initial meeting to the big day, communication was phenomenal. Skyler and Alexis were both extremely supportive, knowledgeable, positive and energetic which helped to make our day feel as special as possible. We felt that compared to other venues the pricing was competitive and Skyler was transparent about what their options included. There were no hidden extra costs/fees. Their facilities are very nice. We chose to have our ceremony and reception on site. For the ceremony, we had the choice of having it inside or outside. Outside they have a beautiful stamped concrete patio with a pavilion that overlooks their golf course and pond. We were planning to set seating up on the patio in front of the pavilion but there was a large risk of storms that day. We moved our ceremony into the pavilion. It just so happened that it ended up being a beautiful afternoon, however the pavilion provided perfect shade for us and our guests. The reception took place inside the main building and provided ample space for our just over 100 guests. The bar, buffet, dessert table, guest book and DJ were set up in different locations which allowed the guests to move around without being crowded in any area of the venue. The sun sets on the back of the building which provides for beautiful sunset photos on the golf course, as well as a gorgeous view from the venue as it has large windows across the back overlooking the golf course. Both Skyler and Alexis helped to keep things moving smoothly all day and it truly meant the world to us. From their help with setup, to relocating ceremony flowers to the main building for the reception, relocating signage and helping reload the film for our polaroid guest books and chatting with our super inquisitive nephew. They truly provided a wonderful experience.

r Team was professional and always made sure that my husband and I were taken care of throughout the night and never had to worry about a single thing. Before the ceremony, John and Skyler were readily available to drive the bridal party around in the golf cart to different parts of the venue for photo ops. They made sure we were on schedule, and helped with guest arrival.
We were lucky to have absolutely perfect weather on our wedding day, so we could utilize the gorgeous ceremony space between the beautiful new pavilion and the water. It was such a beautiful setting for our nuptials.
The newly built pavilion was also used for guests to enter through and grab a glass of champagne from the Wenbeck’s adorable champagne cart. I mean what is better than a welcome glass of champagne?!
Our guests LOVED the mini golf during cocktail hour and into the night. Everyone also took advantage of the spacious balcony on the back of the reception area to watch the most gorgeous sunset!
The Wenbeck team members were there with us during our planning process right off the bat with their vendor recommendations - all of which turned out to be wonderful to work with.
Their Team provided recommendations on our ceremony and reception layouts, which made it so smooth for guests to experience different aspects, from the Photo Booth, our Polaroid guest book/flower wall, etc.
I cannot thank the team at Wenbeck enough for making our day absolutely perfect, and I cannot recommend the Wenbeck enough!!!

They were proud of their venue and were honest about pricing with nothing added that we would not be aware of. Because of them, our wedding day was PERFECT. Anything I needed help doing, they took care of it behind the scenes without my husband or I needing to worry. Things got done before I even had time to think about them and I truly was at ease with trusting them. Skyler is so organized with the small details of the day that she was asking me about things I didn’t know I had to think about. And she always had the answer. During the rehearsal she organized us with ease and made the rehearsal fly by and the wedding go so smoothly. Between the final walk through and the rehearsal she just brought so much calm to a time that was so hectic and I won’t ever be able to thank her enough. Skyler and John both care so much not only about your event but about you as a person, and that was incredibly different than a lot of other venues we toured. I truly cannot say enough good things about this venue and Skyler and John. And if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
