It was great having two separate angles and styles for the ceremony and reception, and Mark and Emily worked very well as a team orchestrating larger family shots efficiently. Speaking of those family shots... we wanted a lot of them. Perhaps, objectively, a ridiculous number of different combinations. Mark and Emily were very patient and somehow got so many great pictures even as we were all braving the wind and cold at our reception venue. As an intelligent and capable adult man, I managed to cut myself shaving a day or two before the wedding, and that was visible in a lot of our guests' photos. Thomson and Thomson edited it out perfectly where relevant (and without me needing to mention it). Despite that, they still managed to get us teasers while we were still on the honeymoon and the curated set of ~1000 best takes within a month. Thomson and Thomson captured so many great moments from our wedding day. We are very grateful to have had them as our photographers, and highly recommend them.

As I said to them on our wedding day, they were there to give us direction on how to not awkwardly position our hands or propose ideas for a creative first look, but blended perfectly into the background during intimate moments, like our vows and first dance. I was a little worried going in, but they jumped right in and took charge like it was nothing. The detail shots, candids, first look photos, dancing, speeches..everything, all had beautiful photos. We ended up with close to 1000 photos, and couldn't be more pleased with each one! They're also incredibly nice people, and easily blended right in with the wedding party as we got ready. We loved working with them, an awesome pair who takes beautiful photos. No complaints!

The day of the wedding, they we’re so helpful keeping us on time while still getting all the pictures we had wanted. I don’t always love having my picture taken, but I felt so at ease with both Emily and Mark. It was easy to relax and enjoy myself, and that absolutely came through in the pictures. The whole day was filled with so much love and laughter, and they captured all of it. It definitely put our minds at ease knowing they were so dedicated to making sure they were well prepared for our big day. All of our pictures came out wonderfully and we had such a hard time narrowing them down to put into our album! We wish we could have put them all in! We were so impressed with them through the whole process, but especially when we talked to them the day before our wedding and they had been near the hotel and venue scoping out sights!
