When I started wedding planning, the one vendor I knew I had to have was Tricia McCormack. I emailed Tricia first and then based the wedding date on her availability. Tricia McCormack Photography took photos for our family reunion - I loved the pictures she took, and I was even more impressed with her ability to get people together to take great photos. The photos speak for themselves, so this review focuses on the joy of working with her. Tricia is more than a photographer, she is partially your event coordinator - she works with you to set up a timeline for the day to anticipate all of the wonderful moments to capture. For me, it was also the matter of working through a lot of logistical challenges - an evening winter wedding in MA with a tight timeline that I was planning from Florida (and then my initial venue cancelled on me a few months before the big day!). She made sure to keep in close communication with me through all of these variables to ensure that everything was flawless. And it was! My favorite thing about working with Tricia is that she captures these organic moments of happiness, but behind the scenes, she's running the show like clockwork. She works so diligently to get the photos you want, all the while respecting the time you need to engage with your guests. It's a real balance act that she guides you through! Also, you ever notice that most people are hesitant to volunteer for a picture? Tricia is so great at working through a crowd and energetically (and politely) commanding groups of friends/family to stand up and smile for a photo. I can't recommend her enough - not only will you have these keepsakes forever, she'll take on some of the stress and work of being a bride!

Tricia and Lisa were absolutely amazing. We had an engagement shoot with Tricia, and she gave us all the poses she might ask us for on the day and we got comfortable in front of the camera. Then on the day, we just got to enjoy ourselves and focus on each other. Everything about our day was perfect, and Tricia and Lisa captured every important moment! We got our photos quickly, and they’re more than I could have ever hoped for!

Definitely recommend doing an engagement shoot in advance to get to know her style and the moments that look best for you and your partner. I started following Tricia's work years ago when my cousin was a bridesmaid in a wedding Tricia photographed. As photography being a hobby of mine on the side of a full time job, I was immediately in love with Tricia's style of work! I said to myself "I'm going to have her photograph my wedding some day." Fast forward 6 years when I reached out to Tricia the MORNING AFTER I got engaged!! I couldn't wait to ask her to be my photographer. From the moment Tricia walked in the door she knew exactly what she was doing. She had everything timed by the minute. What shots needed to be taken, where we needed to be at what time, where to place everyone for the best pictures - everything. She showed all of her confidence and that's exactly what I needed. From the ceremony to cocktail hour to reception everything went so smoothly, you didn't even know Tricia and Lisa were there! I could go on an on. I can't tell you how many people have mentioned to me since the wedding how phenomenal the photographers were and how amazing the photos came out! On our one month anniversary we were so happy to receive an email with a link to a FULL album of our day!! It could not have been more perfect. If I could do it all over again just for the pictures I would! I knew I made the right decision with Tricia when we both started tearing up when she was leaving me!! It was like we had known each other for years. The best feeling.

When planning our wedding (we got married in October, 2019), I knew that capturing the memories of this big day were one of my top priorities. As such, I put a ton of effort into finding the right photographer. I was looking for not only someone who had an outstanding portfolio, but also someone personable and warm – someone that I would feel comfortable having around throughout our wedding day full of intimate, special moments. Admittedly, I probably spent way too much time searching and vetting various possibilities, but I mention this in the hopes of fully conveying the weight of this statement: Tricia McCormack is THE BEST!!! Tricia and her team (second shooter Lisa) were an absolute joy to work with! Tricia supported the journey leading up to our wedding day by checking-in periodically, sending helpful info and suggestions, and taking the time to dig into our day-of timeline in order to make sure we had thoughtfully planned out a wedding day that would be enjoyable, stress-free, and full of all the photographs our hears desired. And when the big day came, Tricia and Lisa were instrumental in making sure that plan came into fruition! Tricia somehow managed to be both very professional (keeping everyone on timeline) yet simultaneously lighthearted and fun - and even calming when some of the pre-ceremony jitters kicked in. And the photographs…just breathtaking!! Her work truly speaks for itself, so I recommend everyone go and look at her blog/insta/etc. She has an incredible talent for capturing not only the image itself, but the feeling and the beauty of the moment. We have been flooded with compliments from family and friends praising her work. I could not possibly be more thrilled (and grateful!) to have found Tricia!!

After seeing much of Tricia's work online, we decided to book her and her team far in advance of our wedding. And we are so glad we did! From the planning to the day-of coordination, Tricia was a joy to work with. And the photographs... my goodness! They are beyond gorgeous. We are still basking in them, many weeks later! We can't wait to turn them into an album (a service Tricia's team makes incredibly easy). We know we will cherish them for a lifetime.

Tricia and her team are exactly the people you want to photograph your wedding!! Our photographer was one of our most important and most researched vendors. We wanted authentic, timeless photos that we could cherish for years to come - Tricia delivered that and so much more. Tricia is so warm and friendly - we had an instant connection during our first phone call. We were planning a wedding in NY, from DC, she is based out of MA and the whole process was seamless. Her organization skills are superb and she eased all of our anxieties with a detailed timeline of the day months in advance. I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful Tricia, Lisa and the team are to work with. We were able to enjoy taking photos because she made us feel so comfortable and totally relaxed knowing we wouldn’t miss a thing. At the end of the night we were truly sad to see them go! Aside from her wonderful personality and exceptional talent, there are a few extra things that we really appreciated.. Just days after the wedding she was posting (with our permission) sneak peaks on social media which was wonderful to have – everyone will be asking for photos and you will be able to show them! Within weeks our blog was posted and all of our edited photos available. We were so grateful as this is not the case with all photographers! We waited(!) until our one month anniversary to relieve the entire day. The photos were more than we could have hoped for. Tricia’s style and editing produced gorgeous photos that radiate all the joy and love we felt that day. Hiring Tricia was one of our favorite decisions – Not only did we love her and her team, but our bridal party, family, and even guests did as well! Tricia shot both of my sisters weddings. Difference seasons, different venues both AMAZING pictures. You can see that clearly from her work. What isn’t shown is how Tricia really leads you through your day when you need someone to lead you. To say this would be a great time for this or that without ever feeling dragged to take a pictures anyway from the party. She makes you feel beyond comfortable in front of the camera. My now husband who rolls his eyes anytime I ask for a picture in day to day life, thoroughly enjoyed our time with Tricia and her amazing second shooter Lisa. You wake up the day after the wedding knowing your wedding day was captured perfectly so you can remember it forever. Highly recommend!!

Tricia was one of the first vendors I hired for my wedding in June. We booked the whole package- engagement photos, wedding photos, and wedding album! Tricia and her second shooter Lisa have been a dream to work with. They are incredibly professional, detail oriented, and caring individuals- I felt like we were the only clients every time I spoke with Tricia. I know that they have a limited number of spots for weddings each year and I felt honored that Tricia chose ME to be one of her brides! She gave me so much attention in answering my questions and being my cheerleader all through the wedding planning process. One really unique aspect is that she provided a wedding guide that I used as my bible during the wedding planning process- all with tips from her years of expertise. When picking a photographer, you have to keep in mind that this person will be with you all day- it's important to have someone you trust and like by your side while you navigate a flurry of wedding day craziness. Tricia kept me grounded and knew all the right things to say. She helped me keep track of the timeline and get people in line for pictures and she did it with ease! She kept us laughing and really allowed me to stay present during my special day. She noticed all of the little touches and personalizations that my groom and I planned for our wedding - the things that were important to us- and made sure to capture all of the details in the photos. Even after the wedding when working with her on the blog post, it was a great way to reflect on the day and see our favorite photos in an easily shareable format for friends and family. From our on location engagement photos in NYC, to our wedding in MA, to even putting together the wedding album with Christina after the wedding, Tricia and her team have been so enjoyable to work with. It's no surprise that they are consistently ranked as one of the top wedding photographers in the Berkshires. I truly loved working with Tricia and I'm going to immediately hire her the next time I need a photographer for headshots, family portraits or Christmas cards. Or next time I am in the Berkshires for a bootcamp class! :)

I can't say enough about Tricia and her team, they are more than you could ever know you wanted from your photographer. They are efficient , friendly, professional, fun and show in absolutely everything they do how much they love being a part of your day. It was extremely important to my fiance and I that we were able to be in the moment during our wedding day and that time spent taking posed pictures or getting particular shots was minimized. Tricia understood this perfectly and made it short, fun, perfect, and unobtrusive. When we looked at our pictures we found they had captured beautiful moments that we never even realized they were there for. Our pictures are beautiful and we feel incredibly lucky to have had Tricia and her team as a part of our day.

Tricia and Lisa did a fantastic job photographing our wedding! Leading up to our big day, communication was really important for my husband and I because we live across the country from where we were married and Tricia always answered any questions that we had promptly. She did a great job directing everyone for family and bridal party photos making them efficient and beautiful. She is so easy to work with, especially on a day that can be stressful for many. Our photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined with a great variety of shots, especially candid ones which were at the top of the list for us. She captured all of the emotions of the day in an amazing way. We could not have asked for a better photographer or better wedding photos!

Tricia and her team did an amazing job at our wedding. She was able to capture everything that day and the pictures came out amazing. Multiple people commented on my facebook album saying they had never seen such amazing wedding photos. We loved how the pictures came organized into the different parts of the evening- it made it super manageable for us to sort through the hundreds of photos and this was extra work on Tricia's end!

Deciding to hire Tricia to capture our wedding at the Cranwell this October was one of the best decisions that we made when planning our wedding. As a couple that was definitely working to create a magical day on a budget we debated working with some local photographers that were a bit more affordable than Tricia and her team. However, when we compared their portfolios to her work, we fell in love with Tricia’s blend of beautifully framed candid shots and more traditional wedding portraits. The quality of her work was evident, and we decided it was worth the price. What we did not know was how seamless and comfortable working with Tricia would be. Since we do not live locally, Tricia invited us to meet her for coffee when we were in the Berkshires meeting with other vendors. She immediately put us at ease, eager to learn the tone and style we were hoping to emulate. Before the wedding day, she was sure to do her research, asking us to provide her with lists of the types of photos we wanted her to capture and working with us to create a detailed timeline of the day. This not only helped us feel confident that we would capture the moments that would otherwise slip by us, but also helped inform the timeline we created for the other vendors we were working with. On the day of the wedding, Tricia was again incredible! We were running a bit behind schedule, but Tricia and her team found ways to fill the time, capturing beautifully staged photos of the small details that might otherwise have been forgotten in the future. When I became nervous as things ran behind, she was cool and calm, and super flexible as timelines began to shift due to a few little surprises. She even chauffeured some of our wedding party from the church back to the Cranwell when one of our shuttles failed to show up! So many of our friends and family members commented on how friendly and professional Tricia and her staff were throughout the day. They seemed truly invested in capturing the most beautiful memories, and were just all around lovely people to be around. A few more unexpected surprises that came about while working with Tricia: • She’s available for questions! Throughout the planning process I had a few random questions. She was always quick to respond, and even provided advice and suggestions when I had general Berkshire questions, unrelated to her services. • She will make you look a lot better than you do in real life! My husband and I had never had our photos taken professionally. We were a little concerned that we would look awkward and stiff in these photos that we were investing so much in capturing. Tricia is an expert at making you look and feel much less like you’re in the middle of a big photo shoot and more like you’re making a special memory with your new spouse. • The gallery of digital photos she sends you is gorgeously curated! I expected the final files she sent to feel rawer than they did. You can tell that she’s corrected the color, strategically cropped, and removed the terrible photos from the final gallery that she sends. If you are considering working with Tricia for your wedding, you should definitely go for it. Tricia and Lisa, we can’t thank you enough for doing such an incredible job photographing our wedding. Your photos captured our vision for the day so perfectly and will be cherished for years to come!

Tricia and her team were so amazing to work with! From the very beginning she was there to answer any questions I had (and I had many!) and my husband and I both felt so relaxed with her. We loved that we got to take engagement pictures first so we could get used to taking pictures with her. The day of the wedding Tricia and Lisa were so professional and they both took wonderful photos. We planned that Stefan and myself were not going to be able to go to our cocktail hour because we were going to be taking couple photos, but they were so quick and we all worked together so well that we were able to go. They were so thoughtful during the wedding and made sure to get all of the shots I really wanted! Our guests and family talked about how much they loved how professional and friendly they both were at our wedding and even to this day. We got our pictures back so fast as well and we could not be any happier with them. The best decision that we made was to hire Tricia McCormack Photography!! There are too many amazing things to say about Tricia and her team. We had seen Tricia photograph our friends wedding a few years prior to our wedding day and when we saw the photos we hoped we could get her to be our photographer! From the moment we spoke on the phone for the first time we knew we couldn't let her pass by! She was helpful, nice, and the energy in her voice made it obvious that she loved what she did! When we finally met Tricia at our engagement photos she made us feel like old friends. I wasn't sure how it was going to go as we had never had formal pictures taken of us- but by the end we were both so comfortable and looking forward to our wedding pictures! She captured us in such a natural and fun loving way. When we were going back and forth about a first look (we didn't think we wanted one but now are SO happy we did) she was able to guide us but never pressure us into any decision. Her help gave us so many more photos and really eased the stress of the wedding day but getting so many pictures out of the way before the ceremony! Tricia brings out the beauty in everyone she photographs and is able to capture the candid moments better than I have ever seen! Our wedding day will be something that we are able to relive through her work for the rest of our lives. We couldn't have asked for a harder working, fun, or more caring person who we can now consider a friend! We both give her our HIGHEST recommendation!!

WOW!! I told Tricia that hiring her was possibly the second best decision my husband and I made that day after saying "yes." Tricia is incredible. She is extremely talented and if you go to her website, you will see that her pictures stand out as truly special, creative and simply stunning. We have had heard so many positive comments about Tricia's work but perhaps more importantly, Tricia is a dream to work with! She is totally on top of it. All of it. She really put us at ease and our day was seamless and incredible. We loved spending it with Tricia and her assistant, Lisa. We have big families who were so happy to spend the day with Tricia too. Tricia was born to be a photographer- she has an amazing gift. Her photos are beyond gorgeous! When I was planning my wedding in the Berkshires, her name kept coming up and I knew I needed to check out her stuff. She exceeded my expectations in every respect. Our engagement session was the perfect chance to meet her and get comfortable. The pictures were amazing and we had them made into a guest book for the wedding. I don't have the wedding photos back yet, but I am SO EXCITED to see them. The "sneak peak" pictures were perfect! (can you tell I am running out of superlatives here?!) What I value in Tricia was her experience, creativity, and attention to detail. She knows the ins and outs of a lot of venues in the Berkshires and where and how to get the perfect shot. However, she does not simply follow the same formula for each wedding (I know, because I stalk her blog!) Each wedding I look at shows new poses and new perspectives. I told her I thought I could literally see the wheels turning in her head when she was looking around for the perfect location for a shot, and the perfect angle. I am also a type A personality bride, and I LOVED that she sent out a VERY detailed survey ahead of time to ensure she knew exactly what was going to be happening that day, what we wanted her to capture, and what was important to us. In short, hire her. I knew photography was one of my priorities in my wedding budget, and I am so happy I picked Tricia. She beautifully captured the best day of my life!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Tricia and her photography. She was just fantastic from the beginning right through. Everything was seamless and relaxed. Tricia is an absolutely amazing photographer. We had her for our wedding, and she makes the whole day run very smoothly.
