TVK performed at our July wedding and we could not have been happier with the experience! We had a long reception so I was worried about people dancing but it was truly packed all night long. They played a great mix of music that appealed to all of our guests young and old. We received so many compliments throughout the night about how good the band was. They were very easy to work with during the planning process and they have an extensive song list. If you want a packed dance floor on your wedding night, I highly recommend using TVK!

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding band!! From the moment TVK started playing, the atmosphere was electric, and our guests were on their feet from start to finish. One of my guests told me later that at first they thought the venue was playing the actual song for our dance, not that it was live! Which shows just how good they are. Their commitment to making our day unique and personalized truly stood out, thanks to the coordinators and also the Emcee, who was great! HIRE THIS BAND!!!! My husband and I are both musicians, so we were very particular about wanting a band that sounded great, had a wide repertoire, and would honor special requests. We spoke with Matt, who was really patient with us as two people with a zillion questions. Tom, the band leader, has a great attitude and is very talented. My husband and I wanted to play guitar and sing with the band, and he went as far as to send us the exact arrangement the band would play and bring guitars for us. We were nervous about playing with them without rehearsing, but the performance went amazing and sounded great. Their sound people are so on top of it. The band itself sounded incredible on every song. They kill it on every genre. I am not just saying this, our dance floor was packed every second. Our guests were telling them every moment they were about to take a break, the band played another banger and they wanted to stay. They really can read a room.

TVK was quick to respond, extremely helpful and very kind during our planning process. Matt answered my NUMEROUS questions and was patient with us from the start of planning through day-of. On the day of the wedding, they were well prepared and knew where to be and when, and controlled volume for our venue, which tends to echo- they did a great job of this!! I've heard music in this venue before and was worried how the band would do, but they did great- The sound techs and the band members did an absolutely perfect job. People were on the dance floor quickly and they had an amazing playlist to keep people out there. I cannot suggest them enough- 10/10 would use them again for our special day!!!

They are willing to learn songs, have great communication, and can identify the vibes of your wedding to keep the music flowing and everyone on the dance floor! I cannot say enough fantastic things about TVK Orchestra! My husband and I got married in Chicago in June 2023. We were referred to TVK by a co-worker who used the band for her wedding. We knew TVK was a great choice when they were willing to work with us to create a package aligned with our wedding budget. I am so incredibly happy that we used TVK Orchestra for our wedding band! The planning process was well managed and straightforward. Everything the band played was fantastic; the musicians were talented and energetic, and we got many compliments on the music. If you have requests that you feel strongly about them playing, be sure to communicate that clearly. We made requests some of which they didn’t end up playing, apparently because they felt that the room’s energy didn’t work well with the requests, so if there are songs you want played no matter what, say so.

WOW is all I have to say about Tom and the TVK team. After looking into what felt like hundreds of bands, we randomly came across TVK. We set up a meeting with Tom who patiently answered our questions and showed us countless videos featuring the band and talent. Because it was COVID we weren't able to see them live, but never the less booked them for our Aug 2022 wedding. Tom was amazing throughout the entire process answering our many emails and working with us to have our vision of a 9 piece band, even in a small venue setting. One of the most special moments of the night was the first dance with my husband and we had chosen a country song that wasn't as well known, not to mention fast. The band learned the song and even slowed it down to an appropriate tempo for a first dance and it was a moment I will always remember. The whole evening was perfect and TVK kept the dance floor full all night long and even let my dad get up on the guitar and play along for a few songs! Countless guests approached my husband and I raving about the band, saying it was one of the best wedding bands they had ever heard. If you are looking for not only a great band, but an awesome team that will be there for you throughout the planning process TVK is it! What an amazing night have TVK as our wedding band!!! They kept our dance floor completely packed the whole night and the only time people took breaks was when the band did. We got so many compliments about them! They were very easy to communicate with during the planning process and did an amazing job during ceremony and cocktail hour as well. Absolutely would recommend!

We hired TVK Orchestra to play at our daughter's wedding on June 4, 2022. We went with the 10-piece orchestra that included 3 vocalists, sax, guitar, keyboard, bass, drums, trumpet, and trombone. They have an extensive playlist and literally had people on the dance floor the entire night....we even added on an additional 1/2 hour. If you are looking for a professional upscale band, I would highly recommend TVK!

We're so so happy we went with TVK Orchestra for our 4/30/2022 wedding, they made the night so memorable & fun! Our number one compliment at the wedding was how much everyone loved the band. As soon as they started to play they packed the dance floor and they kept it packed for the full night. TVK was very easy to communicate with and alleviated a lot of the stress of planning for music. Until I found them, my experience talking to bands was stressful as it seemed like they were trying to sell us on more things that we didn't need, and I felt pressured by them. TVK was straight forward, transparent, and reliable. The day of, everything was one time and the quality of the music and DJ-ing was great! The Emcee was very kind and checked in with me often. My only critiques were they misread some of the prompts while introducing my wedding party (announcing people that were not present so it was awkward when no one walked in), and they messed up playing my husband's song request (Foo Fighters). I get that it happens, but it was so bad they just stopped mid-song (which was awkward again). The musicians were very strong (the brass were outstanding), and the singers were good too although I think their sound could have been louder. Overall, thank you TVK for being as consistent as you were!

TVK Orchestra brought such energy and fun to our wedding! There was dancing all night which is exactly what we hoped for. So great and easy to work with, highly recommend!!

Best orchestra EVER! We booked TVK Orchestra as we were looking for one for our wedding that was also bilingual, Polish/American. TVK Orchestra was able to provide this with the lead singer Crystal being Polish! Our guests were beyond shocked once Crystal started singing in Polish as they all thought the entire orchestra was American and only would sing in English. The live music was amazing! All the singers gave us and our guests goosebumps when they sang! Not only were they amazing singers but also very flexible with us during the reception even when playing our first dance song when we asked them to continue playing as we were not finished with our dance! It was priceless! Not only was the orchestra able to play and sing songs in Polish but they also provided a DJ to play in the interim when the members needed to take a break! The DJ was able to also play many of the Polish songs that we chose, and the experience made it that the dance floor was never empty! Every single guest during the reception could not say enough amazing things about TVK Orchestra and how beautifully they sang and played but also provided a great time so that the dance floor was consistently packed! We could not have asked for a better orchestra to play during our wedding! Tom was our main contact person who was very professional, knowledgeable and quickly responded to all our emails! He made the entire process of booking and choosing songs for our wedding all go so smoothly! We definitely recommend TVK Orchestra to anyone seeking a live orchestra for their wedding or event. We for sure will be booking TVK Orchestra again in the future!

We used TVK Orchestra for all of our wedding music - ceremony and cocktail hour musicians, full band at the reception and a DJ set at the very end. This was by far the best thing we spent money on for the wedding!! Amazing Band!! They sounded great, were super easy to work with, and extremely professional. Short version: Tom and the TVK Orchestra are tremendously talented professional musicians with many years of experience providing beautiful music for weddings and other events. Their performance at our wedding was absolutely stellar. Our dance floor was packed the whole night and our guests are still raving about the band. Their price was very reasonable and the end result was just perfect. We strongly recommend the TVK Orchestra for your event! Longer version: When we began planning our wedding in the summer of 2019, we knew we wanted a big brassy band that could deliver modern hits but also Sinatra and swing standards as both of us love to swing dance. After researching many bands online, we found Tom and the TVK Orchestra and they seemed like they would be a perfect fit. Shortly after, we met Tom in a Starbucks and immediately knew he was the band leader for us. He and his band have many years of experience and have played thousands of weddings. He reassured us that he knew the type of sound we were hoping for and that he and his team would deliver that. Spoiler alert: he was absolutely right and definitely delivered! Through the remainder of 2019 and early 2020, Tom worked with us to learn more about our specific needs and styles. We would routinely text him YouTube links of different versions of songs that we liked and he would always respond by saying he and his band could definitely do that. No problem at all. It was so reassuring to know that the music for the reception was one thing we would not have to worry about. When the pandemic struck in early 2020, we and many other couples postponed their weddings to 2021. This understandably was a major blow to everyone in the wedding industry. Obviously, we were disappointed that we had to postpone (as most couples were) and that had to be very difficult for Tom and his band. However, through the entire pandemic, Tom constantly reassured us that everything would be ok and that he and his band would be ready to go wherever and whenever we ended up having our wedding. Tom was truly the steady hand at the helm that helped us weather that storm. Tom and his orchestra also worked seamlessly with our other vendors (specifically the venue and the lighting/draping vendor) to deliver a beautiful performance that was jaw-dropping acoustically and visually. All night long, guests kept asking us “Where did you find this band??!!” Even now, whenever the topic of our wedding comes up, people immediately start raving about the band. The TVK Orchestra delivered, big time. Considering all of the music that the TVK Orchestra provided for us (trumpet at the church, trio for cocktail hour, 7 piece band for dinner, and 16 piece band for 3 hours of dancing), the price was very very reasonable. Listening to them play all night, we were so happy and so amazed by their talent. Clearly, they had done this many times as they knew exactly what songs to play to keep the dance floor full and yet also played our special requests. It was absolutely perfect. The flexibility and professionalism of Tom’s team was really apparent. Whether it was the trio, the 7 piece, or the 16 piece band, they all sounded awesome. If you’re looking for a talented and experienced band of any size for your event, we strongly recommend Tom and the TVK Orchestra. You will get beautiful music from true professionals at a very reasonable price. Hire them! You will not regret it.

This is our second wedding with TVK as our entertainment. They are amazing! Easy to work with, professional and the music is outstanding. Our guests raved about them the first time so we knew we had to get them again. They are the most talked about and memorable part of our celebrations and can’t wait to have them again in the future. We booked our original band last year for our September 2020 wedding and they canceled on us 1.5 months prior to our wedding. Luckily it was a blessing in disguise because we hired TVK as a replacement and they were absolutely fantastic! Music was the most important aspect to us for our wedding and TVK exceeded all our expectations. Tom was so easy to work with, he was prompt with his responses, flexible and understanding of the immense stress and uncertainty of planning a wedding during Covid. Our wedding ended up being a lot smaller than originally planned and we were concerned our dance floor would be empty, but to our surprise TVK kept our guests dancing all night! It truly meant the world to me that our guests were able to enjoy themselves all thanks to TVK. We also hired them for our ceremony (piano and violin) and cocktail hour (solo piano) = best decision as well! Do not hesitate to hire them for your wedding...it will be the best decision you make and you will not be disappointed!!

TVK is the BEST out there, hands down. We booked Tom and his band for our October 2020 wedding, which we planned before Covid. Despite seemingly endless changes to our wedding plans as our Big Day approached, Tom was endlessly flexible. After much back and forth, through which Tom showed understanding and flexibility, we ended up settling on having a trio (sax, piano, bass) play for an intimate dinner rather than the originally-scheduled big party. It was the PERFECT addition to our wedding. We could not give a more RAVE review of TVK. They are fantastic all the way around!!!

People, you know how important music is for the success of a wedding. It makes or breaks it, and Tom did not even flinch when the groom really wanted Game of Thrones theme song for part of the procession. We, as parents panicked! But Tom came through with such a magnificent rendition that we loved it too. Then again, our daughter wanted a reception with all the guest dancing and Tom made sure happened too. I could not even go around to tables to thank people for coming, because so many of them were on the dance floor and not seated. Guests commented on the music and singers making it an outstanding time. Tom, we could not have asked for more; you made the wedding memorable for all. Our decision to book TVK Orchestra as the band for our wedding was the BEST decision we could have made! From the very start of the planning process, Tom was professional, responsive, and so easy to work with. He collaborated with us on making a perfect set list for our wedding reception, and was so accommodating to all of our requests (specifically, we had requests about wanting to play Greek music for some traditional Greek wedding dancing during the band breaks). Most importantly, the TALENT and energy of this band is truly unmatched! The band played songs that EVERYONE could enjoy, and the dance floor was packed with 240 guests all night long. My husband and I are not native to Chicago and the first of our friends in the city to get married so we didn’t have personal experience or recommendations from our friends of tried and true wedding vendors. We relied heavily on online reviews. Everything we read about TVK said they were fantastic - it is TRUE! Tom and his team were extremely professional from the get go. They were patient while we went back and forth around band size, accommodating to the stricter requirements of our venue and most of all phenomenal performers during the reception. They kept people on the dance floor the entire time, knowing the perfect time to take a break (even volunteered to cut one break out!) and knowing the best timing for the variety of music we wanted. I cannot recommend TVK enough!! They definitely made our wedding night one to remember!!

TVK Orchestra was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Tom was excellent at communicating with us. He was very quick to respond to our questions and emails. They performed the Mother/Son dance song, as well as a mashup of two songs my Dad and I created for our dance -- incredible! The dance floor was packed the whole night and they were so much fun. There wasn't a point in the night that people were not dancing and enjoying the music. We received so many compliments about TVK both on our wedding night and days after. Working with them was so easy and stress free! We highly recommend them to any event, you won't regret it.

Having a good band one one of our top priorities when planning our wedding and Tom and his fantastic band members did not disappoint! They played music from all genres that all of our guests could enjoy and kept the dance floor packed all night. They were reliable, professional and honored all of our requests. Tom and Sally took to our wish list and made suggestions that not only respected our budget but also helped us create the ambiance we wanted. In the end, we contracted TVK for a 9 piece band as well as 3 piece jazz trio for cocktail hour and have received so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the music.

I LOVE TVK! I am an event planner for my job and have used them a few other times. But was SO excited to have TVK at my wedding!! Everyone was talking about how amazing they were all night! We really wanted to have a party for our wedding and make sure people were having a good time. TVK definitely made that happen!!

We hired TVK for our daughter’s wedding. We looked at many options, and once we saw the TVK video, and spoke with Sally, we were hooked, and they were booked! The entire process was perfect, but nothing as much as the actual wedding reception! THEY WERE FANTASTIC!!! The dance floor was packed the entire night. The compliments were non stop. The venue told us they were the best band they had seen. The bridal party from the wedding in the next room came to our reception because of the band. They made a perfect night even more so! We will plan our next child’s wedding around TVK’s schedule!

TVK was an amazing band to work with! They were in contact with us as much as we wanted to be, and they communicated with us very early on how we could plan the night, as well as which songs we wanted played. Our reception was so much fun and everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. They played a great mix of modern songs and songs from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. We even had a cousin offer to pay them to play longer. The one thing I wish they had done was tell us how many songs they'd be able to fit into the amount of time we paid for. We checked off a lot of songs on their list, and we would have narrowed it down more if we knew more of an estimate of how many they could fit in. Aside from that they were fantastic!

The music was a huge hit. People were dancing nonstop and relatives said they “felt like they were at a concert!” We had an issue with a lost check but TVK was great and didn’t turn it into a stressful situation the day of the wedding but rather told me everything was good to go and that they were excited for the evening. They then followed up with my parents to take care of it while I was on my honeymoon. Incredibly professional and polite. A few requested songs were missed and a few slight revisions to our plan didn’t make it through to the big day but it was really only things that I noticed vs. any of the guests. If I were planning the wedding all over again, I would hire them in heartbeat!
