Our wedding hair and makeup artists will enhance the things you love about yourself, and transform the things you don't, to bring your bridal beauty vision to life. We understand how important it is to be comfortable and still feel like... you, on your wedding day. So let's make its confident version of you as you walk down the aisle to say, "I do!". You will not only get a hair and makeup team who is an expert in their field, but also a hairstyle and makeup that lasts through the day and into the evening while your dance the night away with your favorite people. The TWISTED FISHTAIL experience is designed to take some of the wedding day stress off of you, allowing you to you be present in the moment while getting ready for one of your most memorable days with your favorite people. We offer Hair and Makeup services both in the salon in Lodi, Ca and travel to you as well. Throughout our time together, we will check in regularly, offer support and vendor referrals if needed. We will coordinate a morning timeline with you, your planner and photographer to ensure your wedding morning runs smoothly. From the time you inquire, to the day you say, "I do", we are with you every step of the way helping you feel like the BRIDAL version of you! Finding Twisted Fishtail Beauty Collective was like discovering a hidden gem amidst the chaos of wedding planning. Stephanie and Koryn's kindness and talent made me feel like a princess on my big day. Koryn's gentle touch and attention to detail transformed me into the most beautiful version of myself. I'll forever cherish the memories of getting ready with such a wonderful team.

I cannot recommend this vendor enough, Stephanie and her team made my wedding day! Prior to the wedding Stephanie clearly communicated expectations and coordinated my hair and makeup preview. During my preview we made some minor adjustments and both Stephanie and Jen made me feel comfortable giving feedback and direction to make the look I envisioned. The day of the wedding, her larger team made all my bridesmaids feel comfortable and brought the best attitude/energy to the bridal suite. We were genuinely sad to see them go when they were done with our services! Each girl's look turned out great and everyone looked their best. They focus enhancing your natural beauty and not looking too overdone. I felt like the best version of myself on my wedding day thanks to their team.

I loved working with Stephanie, Koryn, and Jen! The lead up and planning for the hair and makeup was easy and clear. They took all my inspo pictures and helped me finalize my vision to perfection. The preview appointment was well worth it and made the day of go so smoothly. Day of, my beauty team made everyone feel so gorgeous and fully themselves. More than half of my party doesn't wear makeup daily (myself included) but we all felt very comfortable with the process and how beautiful we looked. Koryn was so quick at everyone's hairstyles as well. I had a really intricate braided updo with a tiara and she nailed it. The two photos are from right after the service while the dress photo was almost 12 hours later. Only felt like I had to do touchups once for lips after dinner for magic hour photos. All of this during some 90 degree weather sometimes in full sun and with more than a few teary moments. I cannot recommend the Twisted Fishtail team enough. Thank you so much for making me the loveliest bride on my wedding day!!

Stephanie and her team are amazing!!! I had Stephanie and Jen do hair and make up for myself and my bridal party. Not only did they do a beautiful job, but they were so personable and fun to talk to. Stephanie was great when I wanted to make some changes to my hair style day of. 1000/10!!!

Stephanie and her team are AMAZING! I got married this weekend and my hair not only looked beautiful, but it lasted all night through 105 degree weather and dancing. It even lasted to the next day for my brunch! Stephanie really took the time to listen to what I wanted and personalized my style for me and made any changes I wanted. She is flexible and so talented. Me and all my bridesmaids LOVED the way our hair looked! Stephanie is also great at communicating, professional and super reliable. She was able to guide me and help me figure out what would be best for my hair and look. She was super organized and made sure I had a timeline that worked well and always communicated the plans. The entire process of working with her is stress-free. Not only that, but she and her team are so kind, easy to talk to, and enjoyable to be around, which is really important because you spend hours of your morning on your wedding day with them! And she still came to do my hair at my wedding despite having a baby a WEEK before!! She is so dedicated and you can absolutely rely on her! I cannot recommend Stephanie and her team enough!! I’m so happy I hired her, I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. Thank you Stephanie!!

Stephanie and Jen were amazing to work with on the day of my wedding! They were able to bring my vision of looking as natural as possible to life! I received so many compliments on both my hair and makeup! Both Stephanie and Jen arrived on time and were able to get me finished a little bit earlier than planned, but it worked out for the best! Jen also brought the jams, and we had a great time getting ready! I can’t thank them enough!

The Twisted Fishtail Beauty team helped me realize my garden fairy princess dreams! Stephanie's handiwork with my voluminous braid was magical (and withstood our entire day worth of activities!) Jen's makeup application was natural and last me all day- through endless smiling, laughing, and crying! I appreciate the team's flexibility for coming out early to accommodate our 10AM start time. Overall, they were wonderful and super nice to work with; lots of good conversations and laughs throughout the whole process!

I had Ally as my wedding hairstylist. She was AMAZING! She did 6 people in total, including myself (the bride). I did a preview appointment in June 2023 and decided to change the hairstyle completely from an updo to a half up half down hairstyle the month before the wedding which was in October 2023. She did an amazing job on both the preview appointment as well as the day of the wedding. She did a variety of hairstyles for my bridesmaids from ponytails, to braids, to fishtails. All of them came out BEAUTIFULLY. I highly recommend this vendor as your hairstylist team for your wedding and wedding party, you will NOT be disappointed.

Not only did we book this vendor a little under 6 months out from our wedding day, Stephanie got back to us in less than 24hrs and we immediately booked with her due to her being very responsive and showed excitement for our special day! My mother in law and I booked updos and even got to do a trial a little before the day of. Both turned out amazing on the trial day and when wedding day came there was nothing short from perfect! Stephanie was there on time, earlier than most of our other vendors and she started getting to work immediately. She was so nice and fun to work with and took her work very professionally but also showed her beautiful personality in not only her work, but her amazing attitude the morning of. She was stress-free to work with and overall made me feel like a true princess for my wedding day. I would definitely recommend booking this company for wedding day hair!! Thank you so much again Stephanie!!

I had booked this vendor to do hair and makeup on my wedding day, but wound up terminating the contract after Stephanie's extreme unprofessionalism. I sent her an email with updates to the wedding day, and didn't get a response for at least 3 days, despite her being on Instagram for hours a day. I messaged her here on there about it and she responded saying that she would respond to it in office on Wednesday. Thursday morning, it hadn't happened. So, not only did she not keep her word, she prioritized posting on social media over responding people who have already paid her a significant sum. There are copious other salons that offer equal or more impressive services for a fraction of their prices. Don't pay over $500 (the non-refundable reservation fee) for Stephanie to sit on Instagram.

I am sorry you felt like we did not respond to you in a timely manner. We take pride in being able to respond to everyone promptly, however during the high peak season (September/October ) it can be challenging to respond within 48 hours. Bec...

ause of that, auto responders do go out. Due to the hundreds of brides we service, when your wedding is 4 months or more out , like in this case, we do have to respond to our brides who have weddings in the current month first, before we respond to brides whose wedding is multiple months away. Our social media presence is a marketing tool for our business and doesn't have any relevance as to when we respond to our clients by email. Our systems and processes for booking brides and communicating with them leading up to their wedding day has not only been successful for us, but our brides as well, as we have always gotten great feedback and 5 star reviews. We apologize if we didn't fully meet all your expectations and I wish you and your partner the best on your wedding day.

Stephanie and her team did their magic and made it so easy on the wedding day with a large group of girls to get ready, 10 in total. She took so much stress off of my shoulders with how well she communicated with me and with the bridal hair preview because I got to see my wedding hair before the big day. And my hair held up all night long even with some hard-core dancing. I loved having Stephanie and will highly recommend her in the future!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Stephanie’s work is absolutely beautiful. I hired her to style my entire bridesmaid party, my mom and myself for my wedding in September, a total of 11 people. Stephanie was on time, very professional and everyone’s hair turned out amazing. I loved my hair so much, that I decided not to wear a veil because I did not want to hide her gorgeous work! If you are looking for a hair stylist for any event, I highly recommend Stephanie.

Stephanie is AMAZING! She did my hair, along with my bridal party and mother in laws hair for my wedding! Everyone looked FLAWLESS! From the very beginning, Stephanie was so friendly and approachable and very communicative. We discussed goals and inspirations for what I was looking for with my wedding. We met for a bridal trial and it was amazing. Little did I know, that the day of would be even better (didn’t know it was possible). Based off of my experiences with this wonderful woman, she has now become my permanent hair dresser and I recommended to people a lot! You can not go wrong with Stephanie on your team!!! 5 stars

Stephanie was amazing! I booked her for my wedding and did the trial and everything. Showed her some styles I liked and she delivered!! My bridesmaids also loved their hair. Easy communication, and helpful for wedding tips! I would absolutely recommend her for your big day!

I found Stephanie's Instagram page from tagged photos from my venue. I reached out to her and she responded right away. She was such a wonderful hair stylist to work with. For our first demo, she even drove out to my house! It was so great. She was very communicative about everything and was really helpful with the amount of times I changed my mind about what I wanted my hair to look like. I did a second trial with her and it was exactly what I wanted! She was timely, professional and did an outstanding job making my dreamy braid!
